Kobe Sizzlers

I have tried many steaks and this was really good. The steaks were cooked to perfection and we were satisfied with it the peppercorn sauce was delicious. The mocktails were a let down and was just sweet syrup with ice didn’t do anything for me. The noodles were not very good which could have had a bit more flavour, however the rice was very tasty. I ordered the Dexter ribeye which was perfect. The starters were also very crispy and nice. The young girl looked after us very well and kept checking on us often. The sizzling brownie was also delectable and loved it.

Absolutely exceptional experience. The food was outstanding—beautifully presented, delicious steaks, and sauces that complemented every dish perfectly. The customer service was excellent, with special appreciation to Simrit for her warm and attentive care. The owners and staff were equally wonderful, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout. I couldn’t fault a single thing. I would gladly return and highly recommend this place to others.

We'd been to the Birmingham branch, but hadn't realise the original one in Leicester existed. Attended for my birthday and everything was delicious. The in-laws were shocked by the generous portion sizes. Why go to a chain steak restaurant when you can sample the food here. Book a table and enjoy!

The food is just amazing! I have literally no complaint about anything at all. We ordered a ribeye sizzler and an ultimate steak sandwich. The meat was tender and juicy, the seasoning on point, and the portion was just right, not too small yet not ridiculously huge. Service was top!

Visited early November.Excellent lamb chops, superb steak and the Bruce cake was heavenly! I went all in and ordered a large dinner. Normally I am wary of steak. It's a large price commitment in a restaurant and you don't want the risk of it being poorly handled. No fears here! The chops were perfect, the chimichurri so good I ordered more with the main. The Tomahawk was a perfect medium, and anyone who says it should be rarer you are missing the point of rendering the fat, and it was well rested. The Bruce cake was an invitation to diabetes I thought, and worth the risk. I suggest asking for a jug of pouring cream or some vanilla ice cream to help the richness. For a quiet, November Monday night there was a steady trickle of tables which is a good sign. I almost didn't stay when I went in and asked for the drinks list, it doesn't sell wine, which for me would have normally been a reason to not continue as I like a glass of Bordeaux with my beef, but the smells hooked me and I'm delighted I stayed. You will see some negative reviews, all I can say is each to their own. Go yourselves and make your own judgement, it is worth it.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kobe Sizzler, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. For starters, I ordered the chicken wings and the beef meatballs, both of which were new additions to the menu. The chicken wings were perfectly cooked, with a crispy exterior and succulent meat that was full of flavor. The accompanying sauce was a fantastic blend of tangy and savory, making each bite incredibly satisfying. The beef meatballs were a pleasant surprise—juicy and well-seasoned, they paired wonderfully with a rich dipping sauce that enhanced their taste. Moving on to the main course, I opted for the chicken sizzler topped with cheese, served alongside rice and triple-cooked chips. The sizzler arrived sizzling hot and presented beautifully. The chicken was tender and flavorful, while the melted cheese added a creamy richness that elevated the dish. The rice was light and fluffy, a perfect complement to the sizzler, and the triple-cooked chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy within—absolutely addictive! Overall, my experience at Kobe Sizzler was fantastic. The combination of innovative dishes and classic flavors made for a memorable meal. I highly recommend trying their new menu items, especially the beef meatballs and chicken sizzler, which truly showcased the chef's flavoring. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their offerings!

Went here for iftaar with my family! Was so so so pleased with the service! The owner was so nice, took his time explaining the menu and even gave us a dish on the house to try because we were so undecided! The level of patience and kindness was unmatched. Not to mention the food itself was 10/10. I would highly recommend coming here for a night out with family and friends!

Visited yesterday evening and was greeted by Nida our waitress. Nida was very attentive when my daughter explained about her allergy and let the chef know. We both had the Dexter fillet steak cooked medium. The steak was cooked exactly how we wanted and everything tasted so good. My daughter also ordered a Blueberry Daiquri and Crispy Chicken. The food and drink were delicious. Will definitely be returning.

The service was excellent especially Kai who I nicknamed ’trouble’ they went above on beyond to be helpful… The starters was out of this world, the crispy chicken was cooked to perfection… the rib dropped off the bone… The mains we had the Dexter fillet beautiful cooked we asked for medium well done and it came like that…. Presentation perfect.. The sirloin sizzler came cooked has asked and was piping hot… The chicken steak sizzlers were also cooked to perfection… We asked for extra peppercorn sauce no humming or those looks… they gave them to us… The Manager looked after our every need… We had mocktails and tap water they kept refilling the tap water without fail… Overall a 11 out of 10… I will be going back again and again….

Came here 2 nights in a row and they do not disappoint. This is hands down the best steak I've ever had, everything was so on point MashaAllah! Staff are very friendly too, chef should get bonus points lol - I devoured it all!

Finally got a chance to dine here after months of failed attempts it was totally worth it. By far one of the best steak houses in Leicester to date. From the food to the atmosphere and service everything was impeccable. Place is very busy as usual and can get a bit stuffy at times but nevertheless the food speaks for itself. The steak cuts were amazing very juicy and tender and cooked perfectly to our choice. The sliders and shrimp were perfect appetisers. The drinks only the blueberry daiquiri really shined. Overall highly recommend.

The food is amazing. Their crispy prawn starter, paneer sizzler and blueberry daiquiri is our absolute favourite. The customer service is 10/10. The owner of this restaurant is so kind and generous. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Food was really good. We ordered prawns they were yummy. Chops were good too. Best was steak with noodles and topped with prawns. We even tried check steak tat was nice too. Service was good. Only thing is that its too expensive. For 4 people it would be around £25-30 per person including drinks. Well u pay for what u get. So 5stars from me.

Pricey but oh so excellent steakhouse in Leicester. This is a not-too-be-missed spot for meat lovers on any foodie expedition. The service was fantastic the waiter and waitress that served us was absolutely fantastic and staff knew their meats and advise well. Quality is beyond reproach and each dish ordered was cooked without fuss to the doneness requested and the sides all delicious. Strongly recommend the T-bone and the mocktails was really good. Very highly recommended.

Amazing food, service and ambience. Food is cooked fresh and good value for money. Very consistent food. Staff are very friendly and very accommodating. If I need a good meal this is my go to place. Great for special occasions, parties and corporate events. Would highly recommend.

Service was good. The manager was very nice and welcoming made the experience great. Came for our brothers birthday and he took very good care of us and made us laugh. Food was amazing! Definitely recommend

This place is a regular favourite, food never disappoints, service is 10/10. Mocktails were just chefs kiss! Management was very attentive to my friend’s allergies!

Asad was very hospitable and friendly. The food was amazing and will definitely be coming back again. For a steakhouse the price for two steaks wasn't too bad, with us having to spend about £20-£30 each.

Overall the food was on point however the service was particularly slow. I appreciate they were quite busy but 35 mins to get starters is a little too much. I think most of the tables around us had the same issue and only till people started to complain did the service improve We had ordered the sliders and ribs and both were flavourful and a tasty. The only let down were the onion rings. Unfortunately they were dripping with oil which made them quite difficult to eat. There was literally a puddle of oil at the bottom of the bowl.

Went quite early, so very quite. Food was good, I had a steak sandwich with fries, I think it would have been nice to have a little salad on the side. Had a lovely sweet pink lemonade.

Decent size portions. It is reasonably priced, unlike some well-known competitors' chain restaurant whose prices have gone crazy high recently. Taste wise, good as well. Nice presentation. The place is very spacious. Service is alright. I would rather come here for my steak than than pay extra for mediocre food and poor service in the above-mentioned chain, I think everyone can guess the name.

Atmosphere 8/10 , food presentation 10/10 , taste of the product 10/10 , value for Money 💰 9/10 , customer experience 10/10 staff were friendly and most importantly well knowledge in their products that they served. We travel from Birmingham with out booking and was greeted with open arms well guys and ladies this restaurant is Wazzie Approved & Must try

Went for food after iftar. I booked for 20:30 and was told my booking was for 20:45 (showed email proof but they said "Someone must have put you down wrong"). So was sat late with my wife who was hungry. Didn't have the rib eye dexter so I ordered a fillet steak. Got a rare and wife got medium-rare. Was decent but I prefer rib eyes. Crispy prawns were very nice. The ribs were the star of the show. It was all a bit pricey but I guess the total cost of living went up anyway. Likely will return.

Great establishment. Long wait if you haven't booked.. in our case 30 minutes. Prawn starters were fantastic and understand why people come just for the starters. Mains we're to a good standard although the ribs were a bit dry and the Aspen fries stood out and quite possibly the best I've ever had. Overall good establishment, one of Leicester's best.

I love a steak! In fact I go as far as saying that a great steak is my favourite meal. So, with this in mind we decided to try Kobe Sizzlers. I regret my life choices. I opted for the Rib eye Sizzler and my better half had the Dexter T-Bone. Now the sizzler is a great idea in principle, but the reality is that all the liquids from the steak, the vegetables and the rice pile at the bottom and make the chips soggy, the rice like risotto and everything just becomes mush. When trying to cut into the steak everything goes everywhere because there is no solid base, just sloppy rice. And let’s talk about the beef. I think I must have had the obese cow because it was predominantly fatty gristle and the steak was not cooked well. I did not enjoy my steak! The Dexter T-bone that my partner had tasted excellent. You only had 6 chips and a bit of green leaf salad, but the meat was cooked well. We ordered gravy, peppercorn and Shezwan sauces and the sauces were just adequate too. When the restaurant first opened, friends of mine raved about the steak, so I don’t know whether they have changed supplier or chef, but there is nothing to rave about any more and the novelty of the sizzler wears off as soon as you try to consume the food. The service was just as lacklustre, with a man casually propping up the bar in trainers and a waitress that had difficulty in understanding simple questions. Not a place I would recommend for a steak or for anything to be honest. We had a Coke ( some substitute version) an 2 meals for £70, so not a particularly cheap night, but we can recommend better places to spend £70 or less.

I only ordered the steak so my views are quite limited. I would rate the steak as just average. For a T-Bone, the nicer side seem very minimal compared the many steakhouse I am comparing against. Considering the price, I was not impressed at all. On a positive, the gravy added some serious flavour to the steak. Service was good and they were sufficiently equipped to advise in dietary intolerance. A nice atmosphere and a vibrant place to eat overall.

Many of us in my party purchased steaks with one person going for a chicken burger. The steaks were fairly average in comparison to other places, factoring in price, taste, presentation and sides. I tried some of the burger and that was tasty, if I was to come here again, I would probably try a burger next time. I most likely won't come here for steaks though. Service could've been better, staff were around but always off to one side talking. We had to get up and go over to staff to ask for anything, for example: for additional menu's, only 2 were given for a party of 7. They suggested the online menu, yet none of us were able to access it. We again had to get up to ask to place an order. Overall, a reasonable meal with a nice atmosphere. Food and service could be better.

Starters we ordered crispy prawn & crispy chicken but can't find any difference between taste, steak was delicious and perfectly cooked, sauce was exact, presentation of food was very eye appealing. Ambience is warming. The reason behind giving 3 star or may be less is just because of staff here, since we booked on phone voice on other side seems to be very rude just like she don't want to take booking, when we reach there the guy who welcome us have no smile on face at all, we were directed towards our table and seems like this guy throw placard on table and told us to scan QR code for menu, the girl who came to take our order again smile no greeting and frowning on each and every thing I say here voice was so low can't hear what she is saying, the only guy who deserve to be 5 star was the guy who came to clear our plates very decent and smile and feel respected by him, rest all of them looks like they are not happy that we were there. Even the main lady on counter she was looking so angry I guess she was the one who took our reservation. I don't feel like returning back to Kobe Sizzlers even after having good steak coz where you don't feel respected as guest that place is not for us.

Came here for the first time after hearing a lot of hype about halal steaks here in Leicester. However, it was very average. Steaks were OK, toppings bland and I wouldn't come again. Service was good and drinks were decent too. Very expensive for average steaks, no parking available as well.

Wouldn't return as the service was pretty poor. The food took a long time, and nothing from the menu that we wanted was available. The staff weren't proactive enough to recommend any similar dishes. The burger was tasty, but the helpfulness and energy of the staff really let the experience down.

Tried this restaurant for once and I will most definitely not go back again. Firstly the customer service was awful and the food even worse. I ordered the rump steak the food is served on a plate with bullet rice, veggies and chips. The veggies were so undercooked they probably microwaved it from frozen. The food had 0 flavour I don’t understand how people eat here. They waste such good steaks it’s sooo disappointing. Don’t waste your money here. If you want to enjoy a good steak eat somewhere else. Their price point does not reflect the quality of their food at all. It’s better to eat somewhere else on London road.

Food was not good at all. Ordered the dsluxe mini Sliders - flavours have changed since I last ate there. Noodles were too dry and bland, chips was far too salty. Very disappointed as I was looking forward to a lovely meal out with the kids.

£50 for the DEXTER TOMAHAWK from Chef’s specials and it was salty, chewy, and low quality. Chips tasted like leftovers reheated and re-salted. I’ve enjoyed this place before but this time it was genuinely a very bad experience. Really disappointing and ruined the dinner. Not worth the price at all.

Wasted £60 coming here! Food was horrible. Ordered the steak with noodles, no taste at all! The noodles were just boiled white noodles with no taste. The steak was full of Fat. The chips didn't have any salt Everything was tasteless! The lamb chops were cold. Couldn't finish the food had to walk out it was that bad! Staff asked how the food was we told them the issues which was recieved with "oh no sorry" 🤦‍♀️ don't bother wasting your money. Had better food from a local takeaway for half the price. Very disappointed!
