the host and our server were awesome! shoutout to Camren (not sure how he spells it) for making this an amazing cheat meal!! highly recommend the chicken lettuce wraps, egg drop soup, firecracker shrimp with fried rice, and the sesame chicken! we really wanted to try the cheesecake too but we got full and decided to tap out for the night.
This is a consistently good restaurant. There are plenty of options in the menu for everyone. It's a good place to go for a date night or a good place to celebrate an occasion with the family.
I had an amazing experience at P.F. Chang’s, and a big part of that was thanks to our server Danni. She was super friendly, attentive, and really knew the menu. She gave great recommendations, and the food came out perfect. She checked in just the right amount, making sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. Her positive vibe really made our meal enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back for the great service alone! Highly recommend! Than you Danni💕
I had an absolutely fantastic experience at P.F. Chang’s thanks to our incredible server Danni! From the moment we were seated she made us feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of. Her energy was warm and friendly, and was very attentive! If you’re dining at this location, I highly recommend asking for Danni! As for food, I ordered the lettuce wrap appetizer, chang’s spicy chicken and the Great Wall of chocolate. It did not disappoint! Will be coming back very soon!!!
Tulsi was on the spot for every request. She was very friendly and helpful with the menu and overall made it a memorable experience.
This is my order most often, the lo mein with chicken, but have also had the Mongolian beef & it's sooo good too! Can be pretty pricey, but these dishes can be served family style, or can definitely feed more than a few people. The atmosphere is laid-back, but still a very nice place to eat. Service has always been great, the servers will box up your leftovers table side. Definitely my husband & my favorite place to eat!
I had an amazing dining experience. Thanks to our incredible server, Danni! From the moment we sat down, she provided top-notch service with genuine warmth and attention to detail. Danni was attentive without being intrusive, making sure our drinks were always full and checking in at the perfect moments. Here's what I got Green beans -100/10 They were bomb! Beef and broccoli 10/10 I had a great time.
AMAZING PLACE! Good size of plates✅ Awesome flavor ✅ Costumer service✅ (100000%) the owner is so nice. And CHAYANNE the girl in the bar is the hardest worker I ever met and she is so nice and kind (I don’t know how much she makes but she needs a raise) Thank you guys. Hope to see you soon
Just enjoyed an awesome dinner here tonight. Great atmosphere, wonderful flavorful food, and the best service in Lubbock! Our server Candice was very attentive and the manager Bill took a minute to visit with us to make sure we were enjoying our meal. Overall one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever enjoyed. Strongly recommend!
Wife and I had a great experience. Food is amazing and our bartender/server was even better. We ate at the bar and were taken care of by WILL. He looks so much like JOHN MAYER and is friendly and funny. Go see him.
I always had a hard time finding something I liked here, but I was introduced to the Kung Pao Chicken, Dynamite Shrimp, and Chicken Lettuce Wraps and I fell in love. Word to the wise - if you get both appetizers (like we usually do) then you need to SHARE a main entree because you’ll definitely be full. We had Journie as a server today and she was great!
Last weekend, I had an amazing dining experience at Lubbock of Chang’s. Danni was our server, and she was fantastic! She recommended the pork pan-fried dumplings and the salt and pepper prawns, and both were absolutely delicious. The dumplings were perfectly crispy on the outside and packed with flavor, while the prawns had the perfect balance of spice and crunch. Danni provided excellent service—she was attentive, friendly, and always made sure we had refills without even having to ask. Her recommendations were spot on, and she made our meal even more enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend!
Very elegant yet comfortable restaurant. The staff is top notch , and the food is 5 star. I enjoyed my evening and can't wait to go back. They have an awesome takeout service in place that is its own entity. I spoke to a couple of people and asked about the process and all were very pleased. Great Job you guys!
I had a fantastic dining experience at P.F. Chang’s! From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming. Matthew and Kari were incredibly attentive without being overbearing, offering helpful recommendations and checking in just the right amount. The food came out quickly, and everything—from the lettuce wraps to the Mongolian beef—was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Markus also stopped by our table and introduced himself; his attitude was amazing! What really stood out, though, was the overall atmosphere and customer care. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there, and that positive energy made the whole meal more enjoyable. Charlie brought our appetizers and did an amazing job describing the characters of the dish and even offered a wine recommendation for our entree. Cameron brought out our main courses and made us laugh so much! It’s rare to find that perfect mix of great food, friendly service, and a comfortable vibe, but P.F. Chang’s really delivered. The management is amazing as well. Bill and Chef Autumn stopped by to check on us and see how the food was tasting. They were so nice and informed us of current specials that were delicious! You could tell this restaurant takes real pride in the people they serve. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!
P.F. Chang has long been a guilty pleasure, and I have dined with them in many locations across the US. They are the rare exception to my rule against chain eateries, but, sometimes those chains get it right. And P.F. Chang is one of those few. So when I found myself recently in Lubbock and pondering where to eat lunch, I simply could not get excited about anything other than Chang’s, which I can’t get in Amarillo. Heck, we even saw fit to send their downscale Pei Wei packing a few years ago. But I digress. I arrived not long after the 11am opening when there were only a handful of people there, and took my place at the bar where I could have not only a great view, but also easier access to waitstaff should I need anything. Dining alone makes sitting at the bar a great option. I started with a Lagunitas IPA, a very good old friend from the craft beer community. I followed with the Chili Garlic Green Beans as my app. These have long been a fave, and they did not disappoint. There’s just enough heat to activate the sinuses, always a desired state if you like heat. They were cooked to perfection. For my main I went with the Ma Po Tofu, which features crispy tofu, sweet-spicy red chili sauce, and steamed broccoli. Once again, it was spot on and absolutely perfect, as it should be regardless of whether you’re a chain. And at 490 calories for the main and 260 calories for the app, this was a bargain as far as diets are concerned. Never mind that I couldn’t eat but half of it, and toted the rest home for dinner. It was all good, and I re-created the green beans at home later in the week, a pleasant reminder of another excellent meal at a most excellent restaurant.
A great evening at this restaurant. Waited 15 mins for table on a Saturday. Wow! Super busy but quick wait. Cozy table for 2. Atmosphere is dim lighting and great service. First time to try and food it was delicious! Surf and turf was great! Tempura calamari and egg rolls came out as appetizers quickly. Great overall experience!
I believe that this may be the second time I have eaten at this PF Changs in Lubbock. The first time, I felt that this restaurant definitely up heals the sort of quality that you would find in a city like Dallas or Houston. Judging by the second time that we have gone, this PF Changs has not faltered in its delivery of great food, great customer service and at a reasonable price. With two alcoholic drinks drinks, an appetizer, a main entre for each me and my fiancé and a desert, our total came out to be only $90 between two people which is much better than most fine dine restaurants. We had the pan fried dumplings to start. For our main course, we chose the pepper steak and sesame chicken with fried rice and signature lo mein. With that we had the midnight ritual cocktail and a glass of 19 crimes wine. To finish we ate the banana spring rolls. The food still upheld that good fine dine quality that we look for whenever we go to a place like double nickel or las brisas. The staff was very attentive and friendly and our waiter was very accommodating. If you haven’t eaten at PF Changs, I strongly recommend it. You will have enough food with good service without feeling like you’ll break the bank.
The crown jewel of chain restaurants, P.F. Chang's supports local artists to paint their murals. Lubbock was the first location to have this new mural style, now across all their new stores after the Lubbock flagship. The food is good quality and their level of service attracts excellent servers. You can't go wrong sharing appetizers and main dishes. For large, hungry groups, try the family style portions to share amongst 3 or 4 people each.
Cameron did an excellent job. By far the best serving experience I’ve ever had. Hire more people like him! Overall I enjoyed the food and had a great time. Thank you P.F. Chang’s and thank you Cameron!
We came here for dinner to celebrate our friend’s Texas Tech graduation on May 12. We didn’t forget you Alex! We loved the service and enjoyed our meal! Alex knew the menu well, was very honest with recommendations, friendly, fun, attentive, and quick. Overall, the staff was amazing. I definitely recommend the honey crispy shrimp, lo mein noodles with shrimp, combination fried rice, tofu with lettuce wrap appetizer, dynamite shrimp appetizer, and the banana spring roll dessert is to die for! Can’t go wrong with a lot of their dishes. Although I grew up with authentic Chinese cuisine, I love the western twist and presentation. Great drink selection as well. Try the bubbles and their wines!
Wonderful staff, fantastic food, great service, and a nice conversation with the manager when he stopped by our table. He's great. You can tell he enjoys his job and loves giving people a start in the industry. He's developed a culture of happy employees that work well with each other (and even get together outside of work!) And low attrition. It's really nice to be able to see the same smiling people each time we visit.
Went about 6:30 on a Thursday. Got seated immediately. Server was real friendly and attentive. Food was brought out quickly. We order the Tao's Chicken, orange chicken, Mongolian beef and pot stickers. The food was all fresh and delicious. This is the second time we have been and both were good.
The customer service was quick, friendly, and patient as we have two kids. The waiter suggested appetizers (pan seared dumplings was our fave) as it was our first time. The restaurant was clean and very interesting looking, it also has a bar area where you can see all the bottles they have. Food was quick and hot, I forgot to take a pic of my meal but I got Changs spicy chicken and rice lunch bowl and it was tasty! We also ordered a California roll but didn’t enjoy that as much sadly.
Stopped in to try their lunch menu, we tried their pick three. Picked the pork egg roll, fried rice and extra crispy tofu. Washed it all down with a really good ice tea(unsweetened of course). Food and service was real good, unexpected delite was the hot Oriental mustard for the egg roll. Wow, tasty and spicy. Really opened up your nose. I'll be back for this sauce again. PS, roasted brussel sprouts are a good appetizer too.
The place is amazing! Food is good. I ordered their popular ones. The service and atmosphere there is super nice. Dim lights with different layers of warm colors which makes it look expensive, however, their menu is actually affordable. We ordered dragon sushi ball, pad, thai, short rib fried rice, lo me-in, and chicken. The side though for plating has fruits. I think it was previously frozen or canned. Maybe next time it will be perfect if it is fresh for a cute serving. Overall, highly recommended!
Christopher was our server and he was amazing! It was Valentine’s Day and the place was packed but he made sure that we were taken care of. He was hilarious and our food was amazing. Very impressed with our service for such a busy night.
This is our happy place!! Best service, food and overall experience! William is the epitome of an amazing manager. He seeks us out to visit and we look forward to seeing him and all the amazing bar staff🏆
I had a great experience at P. F. Chang's. The food was great. The seasonal butternut squash dumplings were delicious. I also tried the apple spice cocktail that tasted like a spiced apple cider cocktail and it was great. The price was reasonable. Or waiter was Cameron and he was very attentive and fun. I highly recommend this place for date nights. It was quiet and had a very comfortable atmosphere.
In town on business and myself and a coworker stopped in for dinner. Marlene was our server and she was fantastic! Super friendly and very helpful with menu recommendations. The fried green beans were amazing! Delicious cocktails. Sesame chicken and beef and broccoli was on point! We will be back!
Excellent service, super clean. Appetizers and food came out fresh, hot and quick. Very much enjoyed our meal!

Danni was amazing, attentive, and made our experience one of a kind for a friends bday! She recommended the best drinks and food options!!
Excellent service. Got right in. Cake to go !! Great atmosphere. Had fun with my friends. Hopefully be back soon
awesome expresso martini, gretchen made the most amazing drinks, atmosphere was on top, and the music was perfect for a chill night out. 10/10
Gretchen was so sweet and caring our whole night, def will come again, music was super calming, food came out so fast and nothing was messed up!

“I recently dined at PF Changs. The reservation was easy to make, and the staff was extremely helpful in accommodating our special requests. The ambiance was great, and the food definitely lived up…
It was calming I really liked having lunch there. The bubble tea was amazing! The chicken and noodles was so good!
We must’ve had a new waitress because every other time they’re always right on the ball. She was nice enough and I’m sure she’ll probably get better the longer she’s there, but this is a place where it’s always busy and for two of us, the bill was over $120… but we always leave a GREAT tip on top of it all. We keep calling before we go to see if a favorite waiter is working so we sit in his section, but he wasn’t on tonight!!
Great service and I liked the music too. Starting with steamed pork dumplings, simply amazing. Beef broccoli was very nice the flavor and tender meat with the sauce was perfectly balanced. Never thought broccoli could be delicious too. It came with fried rice which was lacking the flavor. Chicken pad Thai- combination of tofu and chicken was great. The best part of the chicken pad Thai was the noodles. They had delicious flavor. Our experience got better thanks to Maria-Renee. She served us with smile and gave good suggestions.
My wife and I had lunch here on September 26, 2005. I have high expectations for this restaurant and was here very early for lunch, which shouldn't affect the experience. Our waitress was a bit over the top as far as what "we" want, including herself in the "we". The food was good, but it was just an odd experience for "Chang's" in my opinion.
Great food and service. A little on the pricey side, but we really enjoyed the pan fried dumplings!! My walnut shrimp with honeydew was very tasty. They serve it family style to be shared so it makes it easy to try different dishes. I am not a fan of the brown rice, although it is supposed to be better for you than white rice. Word of warning, if you want fried rice, it is side item for $5.50. Needless to say, we didnt get it. We will definately be returning for more visits.
Long wait times can be avoided by simply making a reservation. Walked in and waited less than 2 minutes for our reservation on a busy Saturday afternoon. Save yourselves a headache and a long wait by making reservations. Quick and easy. The staff here was amazing. Took fantastic care of us and made the visit worthwhile. Food was fresh and delicious. The sushi we ate was unbelievably (for Texas) fresh and taste excellent. The rest of the food was equally as impressive. The one star off would be for the prices. A little overpriced in my opinion. For an excellent experience, cross your fingers that you get Chris as your server. Funny, intelligent, quick, the right amount of attention, knows when to be at the table and when to leave you alone. Top notch. Couldn't have asked for a better interaction with an employee. Thanks Chris!
I went with a huge party and had an amazing time. The service was great! P.F Chang's ranges pretty widely in cost depending on how much you want to spend, but we got lots of appetizers, expensive entrees, and desserts, so the bill came out a bit high (as expected). The Chilean sea bass is a must try! The dynamite roll is also phenomenal and so is their wagyu. Their dim sum is okay. The ribs and sushi are great appetizers to share! Honestly, the desserts were just okay. The great wall of chocolate and cheesecake were pretty basic, their souffle was more like a fudge, but their ice cream is absolutely out of this world. I highly recommend their apple and banana desserts.
The service was really good, the waiter was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was very nice. The food was really really good except the fried rice. It was awful. I had the salmon and it was by far the best salmon I've ever had and it was a big portion too. Will definitely be going back I just won't get the fried rice.
I had ordered my food on Uber Eats. It’s super easy to use and the food got here really quickly! Sadly, I asked for teriyaki chicken with rice, I had taken off the options for the pineapple and onion since I hate the flavor of pineapple. Yet I still received the order with both pineapple and onions. Luckily I had also ordered noodles. I don’t mean to be a picky eater, but the pineapple really threw me off and didn’t make we want to eat my teriyaki. The service was great and speedy! Just sad about the pineapple:(

Garbage overcooked steak and small portion for $16.00, now I remember why I stopped going to PF Chang take a look cutback on the amount of food.

The servers are good. But the front staff is awful. Even after asking to be seated at the specific booth ( the restaurant was empty), the hostess chose to seat us right next to the toilet. I guess she's the boss. Our server was great. She did a great job.
Me and my co-works went to the Lubbock P.F Changs for the new lunch bowls, the food was absolutely delicious, but we were so disappointed about the service... we sat for 15mins without any service until I got up and talked to somebody. The whole lunch took almost 2 hours and we didn't even get our fortune cookies. The waitress wasn't seems very nice either, sigh... If you only have one hour lunch break, don't go!
Meh. The food tastes like Panda Express but the prices are set like they're a fancy restaurant. 3/10 wouldn't go again. Only reason it gets a 3 ⭐ is the staff.
I used a gift card for my meal and it still wasn’t worth it. I ordered the honey chicken meal. The chicken was very spicy even though I didn’t request spicy on my online order. The honey marinade was very dry and sticky. But the rice was the worse part of the meal. It was so dry, flacky, flavorless, and cold. It reminded me of day old rice that sat out uncovered. And while the wait staff who gave me my order was nice, as I was waiting near the bar, my shoes were sticking to the floor and the area smelled very bad. So gross! I have money left on my gift card, but I’m going to wait until I go out of town to use it at another location. The egg roll that came with my order was good, and I wish I would have ordered another one, but one egg roll is $4! I will definitely not be returning to this location.
Food was very delicious and was served in perfect portions. I ordered the Crunchy Honey Chicken with Fried Rice (see photo). We got lettuce wraps for an appetizer as the waitress recommended and ended the meal with a apple pie dessert. Unfortunately this is where the good ends. Upon entering the restaurant we were seated without menus and told to scan a QR code to order. After telling them 2 times that we didn't feel comfortable scaning a code they found a single menu for use to share with the table. While ordering I noticed the extremely dirty wall at our table. There was food and drink residue on the wall. This was at 4:30pm so I have to assume that it's been dirty all day. I also couldn't help but notice the dust and dirt all over the decor in the restaurant. For the price of the meal I would expect the restaurant to notice these cleaning details. I'm still confused why a menu isn't automatically offered (which can be reused) but a disposable chopstick set is (which is obviously single use). At the end of the meal we were not asked about P. F. Chang's loyalty program and the waitress did not want to give us credit. She eventually had the manager apply the credit (still not on my account but will update once it is.) There are alot of restaurants in Lubbock, don't go out of your way to visit this one. Good food, but there are plenty of better option.
The food the was ok. A slight step up from panada express. But the price is steep for what you get. The server forgot my salad. The restaurant was very dirty and needs a scrub. Hand prints all over the wall, the soy sauce container was covered in a thick sticky sludge. If a restaurant isn't clean, you can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. No thanks.
Soup was cool and steamed rice under main dish had several spots that were dry and chewy. Spicy chicken was good. Service is great. Restroom was dirty.
ONLY our server was five star and we appreciated him very much! With that said how much cumin do you actually need to put in a dish could not eat it and then other dishes were nearly tasteless. Not impressed.
P.F. Change was very nice inside. It took a little for the girl to seat us was not busy had many seats available. The waiter was very nice great service. We ordered the shrimp and forgot the other plates name something about street food I think. They both had to much soy sauce for my liking. I should have asked the staff what was a better choice but I thought maybe the whole menu would be good since it was such a nice place and pretty expensive but was not the case. Wouldn't go back maybe go to a local or maybe a panda express was much better.

Not the exceptional service that we have come to expect at this restaurant. Lots of emoyees chatting rather than seeimg after customers! Food was good but expected more "service" from servers.
The food was sub par today. We used to love PF Changs - but today we had edamame- and it was over “cooked” falling apart. The chicken lettuce wraps had no taste - and the short ribs are now “cut of…
I had chicken fried rice and the chicken was scorched so it ruined the whole dish. Made it taste burnt all around. Usually good so was very disappointed since the cost is not cheap.
I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you want high priced food with little flavor. Beverages did not come out as ordered and when asked we were told the dishes were dirty. The ginger sauce is more a fusion with little ginger flavor at all. The food portions were good but not full of flavor. The manager was helpful though and tried to make up for things.
When some one asks for mustard and chilli only to receive soy sauce, yall are out of line. Also when someone asks half and half brown and white rice, GIVE THEM WHAT THEY WANT, THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE IVE EXPERIANCED WITH YALL, HENCE 2 STAR
Ordered take out at 7 and requested pick up at 8:30. Arrived at 8:25, didn't get food till 8:55. Place wasn't busy at all, parking lot less than half full. Staff tried to make up for it by giving us 2 free appetizer coupons, valid Jul 1 to Aug 31. But we picked up our food on Aug 14, so it's only valid barely more than 2 weeks... Food quality was disappointing. Chicken tasted like it had freezer burn. Lo mein was overcooked and bland. Paid restaurant entree prices for food that wasn't better than Panda Express. Not worth it.
Ordered the entrée (3) during the lunch to go. Charged the entrée price but when we got home the serving size was extremely small. 8 thought the entrée was supposed to be big, the containers were half full
The spring rolls were pretty underwhelming. The sauce that comes with the spring rolls clashes with the flavor immensely. Same can be said regarding their egg rolls. Lo mein was decent but not worth the price. The quality of PF Chang's has dropped in my opinion. To be honest your local Chinese spot is probably better. Just eat there for cheaper.
The place was clean. Our waitress was very nice. The food wasn't what I expected no flavor. I got the fried rice with steak and shrimp and sweet tyraki sauce. I think panda express , Osaka, the Chinese restaurant owners that isn't franchise is way better but every one has different taste . Not good for our first time there.
We had two orders of fried rice that came out about the same time we were finishing our meals. One order of brown rice came out with the meal of chicken and broccoli and both were lukewarm. Asked for an extra glass of ice to go with an ice tea and never got it. Very disappointing since we have eaten there numerous times and never had this experience.
So this was a mixed bag dining experience. Our waiter was great. Very friendly, attentive and working very hard in the diningroom. The hostess who eventually greeted and seated us obviously gets paid by the hour and it showed. Not busy at all and the line behind us just kept getting longer as she aimlessly mismanaged her only task with only a quarter of the diningroom full. Plus, she spoke so softly you could barely hear her mumbling her words. The egg drop soup was utterly tasteless. The Honey Chicken was unexpectedly spicy. It initially tasted good, but the spice numbed my taste buds and I could no longer taste anything after the first few bites. The shrimp dumplings were excellent. This was my third visit to this PF Changs. Also, it took forever to get our food. Probably won't be back.
I've been a long time fan of P.F. Chang's & back when I wore a tie would visit a couple of times a month. It's been awhile, so when I saw this location in Lubbock, during on a long rode trip ,I was excited. Unfortunately that excitement was short lived. The service was fantastic, seated quickly, food came out quickly, all my needs met. However, the food was sub par. The rice was dry like it came out of a buffet style food warmer. The lettuce, for my lettuce wraps, had brown spots like it was ready to go bad & the meat itself was stale. Again, like it came out of a buffet style warmer and had been in there too long. So in conclusion, the service was great the food was not. I would not recommend this location. It is not up to the standards of their other locations.
Had delivery but food was bland. Crab cheese wontons were dry. Probably won't order from there again.
This place is great for dining in minus the ambiance it used to have. PF Changs used to be darker and gave a really unique feel.\n\nBut that's not what this is about. Their takeout portions are 2/3…

I contemplated on making this. I will never go back. We went on Saturday to dine in, waited 2-1/2 hours. I went tonight and picked up one plate to go for myself and waited an hour. By the time I got my food is was COLD. I paid $20 for a terrible meal that took way too long. Won’t be surprised if they are next to shut down.
Mongolian beef was dry and hard. The crab rangoons tasted like they were made with tuna
The waitress was slow the food was not that tasteful, we waited 29 min to get our order in then out appetizers 20in later put food we waited 1 1/2 hours for it to come out worst experience at a food establishment. This was my first time to visit and it will be my last time to ever visit .
We went for lunch and despite being sat down quickly, the server took forever to come to the table and the food took even longer. Definitely won't be back
My daughter's food was raw ( shrimp) the tea tasted old. Our waiter was great, very attentive. The manager came by the table and asked how things were and once my daughter spoke up he disappeared. I thought this was rude! Don't ask if you don't want to know.
Horrible service. My food was cold when I finally got it. The manager didn’t seem to care at all. I asked him to PLEASE check on our food after our horrible waitress had already checked on it for a 2nd time and he was rude and said it was coming. No apologies or anything or the sort for our food taking a very long time to come out.
Food was ok and never fresh(We rarely get fresh food from this place), ever time we go up there they always forget something, no plate , roll sauce cup was less than halfway full, forgot the chilli sauce, Why have a check list and not follow it). We haven't been up there in a long time is this is why we don't tip because service always comes up short with lack of courtesy to their customers.....👎! Will not be going back customer service is a fail....
Just waited for 30min for a kids noddle: They had 6 people in the restaurant at 3:15pm. The waitress was eating a salad and playing around. Bartender had on customer yet I stood at her bar for 10+min before the server helped me. Then she stuck me in a corner of the restaurant to be forgotten about.
I am incredibly disappointed. I had never tried this before and still have not because after being seated for 30 minutes, we still had not been spoken to by a server even though many servers, and a MANAGER walked by us. We decided to leave and will most likely not try again. Can't say how the food is because I never got the chance to even order
I came in to have dinner with my parents. I ordered the crispy honey shrimp. The batter was still raw. The shrimp was undercooked. The dynamite shrimp was bland. The tea was old. The manager came to our table, asked if everything was okay, then took our dirty plates and left before we could even answer the question. The only good thing about this experience was that the server was polite and attentive.
Time for a change. This place has gone downhill over time. The food is hit and miss, the cleanliness is terrible and service is sub par. Last night will be our last. The manager decided to inventory the bar at 8pm. He parks in the way so the staff cannot work the area. Plus he’s sick - coughing and sneezing on every beer and booze bottle on hand. The bar area is a wreck. Straw boxes, takeout boxes and other junk stuff stacked everywhere, even stacked in a sink. I’m sure that’s a violation. Then we get our food and it’s stale and greasy. Tasted like a reheat job. I’m guessing they’d be very few people in Lubbock who have ate in Changs more than us. But we are done. GM must be terrible and managers are just drawing a check. This place will be out of business sooner than later without a serious change.
Our server was very sweet and kept checking on us but the appetizers did not taste good at all and our food took an hour and a half to come out and by the time it did, we asked for it to go and they still kept bringing it out which was super confusing because we couldn’t be clear enough. Awful and I will never be coming back. Also way too expensive and the manager said they would cover it for us because of how long we waited and we still had to pay.
We are from the Dallas area have eaten at PF CHANG'S in Dallas San Antonio, Arizona and many other places. They are all wonderful. We took our son and his family for the first time in Lubbock. This was one of the worst restaurants we have ever eaten at. The food was cold and service was terrible. The bathroom was nasty. Probably looks like the kitchen. We were so disappointed after talking our kids into eating there after we drove 7 hrs. People in Lubbock must be used to mediocre food and service.
