First time to this chain, and looking forward to the next. Unique combination of flavorful ingredients and variety of tacos selections with clever names mean there's something for everyone. I had the Trailer Park (chicken) and Crossroads (brisket). Both were very good, but the brisket was especially delicious. Also noticed the appealing breakfast menu, and hope to be able to try that sometime. Reasonably priced and good value for the money.

The last few trips to this locstion, it seemed to take awhile to get out orders. Last time it was pretty busy, this time not so much and it still took 20 min to get 2 tacos. Still damn good tacos though.

Baja shrimp taco was flavorful and delicious. Chicken fajita was okay, chicken was somewhat dry and lacking flavor. Staff were kind and food came out pretty quickly. It was too cold inside, I would takeout next time.

I was recommended "The hogfather", "the democrat" and "the trailer park" tacos, I have never been to this place before so it was all new to me I would give the democrat 2/5 taco was good but was lacking in flavor The hog father 3/5 portion on the taco was really good only thing was that the sauce they use was really overpowering and doesn't let you taste the rest of the flavors. The trailer park 5/5 good taco, well portioned well seasoned only thing I would say about this one would be a bit too much lettuce but maybe that would just be my preference but all in all a good taco.

While the food is top-notch, this is definitely not a place that I would go to if you’re wanting a quick meal. We waited for a good bit of time before receiving our food but when we did, let me tell you, the food made up for the time spent.

Another good place for taco lovers. But they have 2 veg options only, as I was specific about halal tacos 🫣 I tried the Mofaux and fried avocado tacos, those are good. And also bean and cheese taco for my baby, but she’s too small to taste the tortilla by herself 😂 so I fed her the mixture and she enjoyed it. Their interior was nice but needed to be a little more clean. Better luck to me for next time.

Replacing personnel with order kiosks is not good. Slows the line even more, and someone had to come take orders anyways. Food is still ok but expensive for what you get.

Went here to grab a quick bite for lunch, I wanted to ask some questions confirming which ingredients the allergen listings referred to in the tacos, but there was no one at the counter. I went with the bonfire chicken bowl, which was delicious, but the drink I got dt dr pepper was absolutely flat. I tried to talk to a staff member about it, but when she tried it told me she guessed it just tastes like that and walked away. (This is my go to drink, it was definitely off and I ended up pouring it out, complete waste of money). The service was quite slow, took ~15-20 minutes for one takeout bowl. This was before the huge out the door lunch rush. Overall, the food was good but I do not plan to return to this location.

We went during lunch rush. I’m not familiar with the area so I was surprised by the large line of patrons. I felt the restaurant was understaffed. There was one person at the counter taking orders and two touchscreens for patrons to place their order on. I find those touchscreens cold and impersonal. The gal who took our order was friendly and proficient. After we received our chips and guac quickly after sitting down, it was a long time until we received our food. I witnessed two servers take orders to the wrong tables, which did not inspire confidence. Our order was correct. It took one full hour from walking in until we walked out. All in all, this was an okay Torchy’s experience, but nothing to write home about.

A bit of a wait but pretty good. I was a bit disappointed that my chicken in the trailer park taco was over fried and burnt on edge. Nevertheless, prices were good and the place was clean.

The food was delicious. The service was friendly. However, they had trouble getting our order correct and out all at the same time. Our queso was delivered to the wrong table and we got our tacos before we got our queso. They were polite, but it was less than ideal. Good value for the quality of food.

Torchy's tacos has awesome food as always. Best shrimp tacos I've ever had I highly recommend them. The customer service was pathetic though the lady taking our order was extremely rude to our group and a friend tried to be nice and friendly to cheer her up figuring she had a rough work day but after those efforts she still treated everyone poorly and I'm sure we weren't the only group that got this same customer service. Very busy around lunch time expect a line to the door.

I stayed at a hotel down the street from this Torchy’s location as I visited Lubbock for a conference so I walked from the hotel. I was excited to hear there was a Torchy’s nearby because that’s one of our favorite places in Houston. However, I was disappointed to see how bad this location was. The service was pretty much non-existent. I didn’t interact with anyone until I got my food. The locations in Houston/Katy, staff are always attentive and ask if you need help when you self-order, which I appreciate. The drink area was super dirty and the tables just looked sad… like not well maintained. I was disappointed.

This was hands down one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had. We walked in and waited about 10 minutes just to realize we were expected to order our own food at a kiosk (and one of them was broken). Not only are customers doing the work themselves, but the kiosk still has the audacity to ask for a tip for what exactly? After placing our order, we waited 45 minutes for our food. I checked on it at the 25-minute mark and was told, “We’re backed up.” There were maybe 15 people in the restaurant. That’s not a reasonable excuse. We were then told it would be another 10 minutes it wasn’t. When I went back to the counter, I stood there another 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. As someone finally walked up, our food magically came out at the same time. Instead of bringing it to the table, the employee said, “Oh, you’re order 59, here’s your food,” expecting me to carry it myself. When I said I needed to speak to a manager, the employee loudly sighed, turned to another woman, threw our food on the counter, and said, “She wants to talk to you.” Completely rude and unprofessional. I requested a refund and was told I couldn’t get one at that moment and had to leave my email. They wrapped the food to-go since my entire lunch break had already been wasted. When I got to my car, the food was ICE cold. And to top it off, none of the sauces were in the bag. An hour wasted, rude service, cold food, and no accountability. Extremely disappointing.

Ive had good lunch tacos here but if your looking for a GOOD HOT breakfast taco, I’d go somewhere else. I got my taco and it was cold. Im not sure if it was what i added because the spinach and cheese was so cold. It wasn’t Enjoyable.

Made an online order to take out. Got to the restaurant and let the cashier know and sat down. Over the course of 30 minutes of waiting he asked again 2x if im picking up since nothing came out. 30 minutes of sitting in the restaurant he brings a bag out from the back, all the food is cold. The manager comes out after I told them and they remade the order, this time the food is just room temperature (meat, tortilla). I just took the food and left, not sure what the issue was here.

Forgot our queso and then tried to charge me for it. Girlfriend was not satisfied with their food. It sucked. Do better next time won’t be back here for $50 tacos and a beer.

This is by far the worst dining experience I've ever had at a torchy's. For starters they were understaffed.. the queso was cold, the fajita chicken lacked salt and flavor. Just awful.

This place has gone downhill. I used to eat here all the time years ago. Now in 2025, poor bar service, cold food, tacos missing fixings that come on it. The frozen marg machine is never working. Tell the bartenders to greet people that sit at the bar. If your frozen machine isn’t working, you should tell the customer before they finish all their food and are ready to leave. Hope yall get better

Me and my grandma came to eat this after noon and we were very disappointed. we ordered and waited about 30 minutes .No one gave us any chips or queso. Every one around us got their food in about 5 minutes as they sat down. i asked on employee about it and he did nothing about it after .waiting a total of 40 minutes we finally got our tacos. NOT TO MENTION ME AND MY GRANDMA WERE THE ONLY MEXICAN PEOPLE IN THAT AREA HOW IRONIC!

I got a takeout order. My tacos came so undressed. There was barely any toppings on them. To top it off the tortillas were raw. I literally had to use some from home to eat my tacos. So disappointing since we usually love Torchy’s but probably won’t be coming back after this.
