The DJ was great, and the atmosphere is chill for dancing, playing pool, or conversing on the other side where the music is not loud!

First time I have ever gone to bashes. I really don't like going when school has started simply because all the college kids are there. I went during the winter break and noticed it was very slow and for me I like it. So once school starts will probably go one more time to see how hype it gets.

Came here alone and I left with 4 new friends and we drank all night together. Great time and nice people

Silk’s Good Eats is a delicious Cajun joint hidden within Bash Riprock’s, a bar in Lubbock. Silk himself is from Louisiana and moved to Lubbock and knows what he’s doing in his shop. I’m not sure how busy he is but I hope people continue visiting because it is so good!

I graduated from Tech in 2000 and went back this weekend. The place hasn't changed a bit and I love it. They still have pint night on Monday. They did expand so there is live music. You can still smoke here which is awesome. It was summer so there weren't as many beers on tap

Bash's was my favorite bar in Lubbock, for one it's huge which means generally more space which I am a huge proponent of. The drink prices are very friendly and even though the food wasn't too great the staff is really what made this bar stand out. The location to campus is convenient and they even use to offer a parking permit by the semester for students (not sure if they still do). I have found some great bars since Bash's having moved to Dallas but Bash's will remain my favorite.

Used to come here all the time back in the 90s when I went to Tech. Was greeted and served by Isaac, he gave us the best time along with a tour of what’s changed. He truly made our experience a great one. Glad to see my favorite bar still staffed with great college kids!

Great live music tonight!

This place is always popping on Monday nights. Starting around 9pm on Mondays they hold penny pints. It's a $5 cover to get in and $2 all you can drink PBR. They aren't actually served in pint glasses, but what do you expect for two dollars.

Usually go with co-workers around 4-5 for a couple.of drinks. A quiet little dive bar, nothing spectacular but it's empty and quiet, perfect for blowing some steam off with drinks and smokes. The bartenders are hit and miss but the last working the kitchen is super nice.

Dive bar. Juke box, pool, foosball. Got a club called conference connected to it now. Weird vibe with the dive bar and club connected. Last time we went, bar tender was terribly slow, people crowded the service area and there was no waitress on. The kitchen is open again but we didn't eat. This place has a lot of history and is right by the college campus but it definitely felt weird when we last went.

Front Bartender is super rude. It doesn’t seem like she enjoys her job at all. If she’s gonna be rude to the customers she shouldn’t work there. However the bouncer is very friendly and welcoming he’s the only thing that would keep me coming back.

I’m 23 years old, turning 24 this year, and my ID doesn’t expire for another six months. When I showed my valid Texas ID, the bouncer immediately gave me an unnecessary attitude and started lecturing me about not having a horizontal ID — even though my ID is current and legally acceptable. He acted like he was doing me a favor by allowing me in and giving me a 21+ wristband, which felt condescending and unprofessional. It’s disappointing that the first person I interacted with at this establishment is someone so unnecessarily rude and judgmental.

She openly complained I didn't tip her, well that's for a reason. To management at Bashes, I love the place and its vibes but after two disipointing experiences with the same bartender two nights in a row, im not certain I will return nor advise any of my friends to come here ever again. Also it smells terrible here, they need plumbing work and bathroom door doesnt even shut.

Extremely unsafe place here. Not enough bouncers or staff to break up the fights that always occur. Saw a guy the other night get beat up here while no one did a thing. Will be reporting to TABC about the minors they let consume alocohol here. Do NOT go to this bar!!

The textbook definition of a dive bar. They are overpriced and won't honor their specials they advertise. Avoid this bar if you want to have a good night on Broadway

I was sexually assaulted at this bar. The staff and bouncer decided to kick me and my family out rather than the man who inappropriately touched me. The woman who kicked us out was extremely condescending and rude. She did not care that someone was just assaulted in front of her. When someone attempted to defend me, they also were removed from the bar. Two drunk grown men were trying to assault a 17 year old and the staff did not care. I tried to explain the situation and the reason for the commotion, and I was just told “you can’t talk to me like that in my bar,” and then kicked out. They took my card as well and never gave it back. This is a disgusting place run by sick people. The staff clearly condones sexual violence and assault on minors. Do NOT waste your money or risk your life here.

Would be a solid place but one of the bouncers like to extort people for money in order to stay. Me and a friend were running the beer pong table and one of the bouncers said “ you need to pay me 50$ or I’m kicking you out”
