Rookie mistake, we ordered a medium soft serve that was about 7 inches high. Ice cream was tasty and portions are generous.

The "hard" serve ice cream is kind of soft too, but we love it! Highly recommend this place! It's CASH ONLY, and there is an ATM onsite.

This place is great. I was in the mood for some ice cream. Be forewarned, the portions are generous. I got the maple walnut on a cone. I didn't want to get a huge one so I chose medium. I was handed a cone topped with a comically large amount of ice cream. So, of you don't want to over do it, err on the smaller side. 10/10 would go again

Fielders Choice is a great spot for ice cream. They have hard and soft serve and a variety of sundaes, milk shakes, etc. Also lots of mix ins (M&M's, Reeses Pieces, etc.) for soft serve. Serving sizes are very generous and prices are reasonable. Lots of parking and outside seating at the Brunswick location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Cash only but there is an ATM on-site.

We always have a lot of fun at fielders! Everyone that works there is so nice. There are many choices of ice cream flavors and they are all very good. We enjoy sitting at the picnic tables or just in our vehicle relaxing.

Fielder's Choice has some of the best ice cream I've ever tasted. My favorite is the brownie sundae (brownies are baked fresh in-house). The price and portion size are perfect; you definitely get what you pay for. Lots and lots of flavor and topping combinations will keep bringing you back to try something new!

Great place to go for a quick dessert with the family that's lovely. the flavors and different choices. Their smoothies are made with real fruit and are SO GOOD. One of my go-tos is a chocolate banana shake, it puts a twist on it and is definitely delicious. Portions are definitely generous, dont bite off more than you can chew😉 Clean place with a drive-thru service as well as a walk-up area with a few places to sit outside. This creamery is cash only, so make sure you've got some actual cash with you. But if you don't theres an ATM on-site! You will not be disappointed with this place.

Just discovered this place, and if what you're looking for is ice cream -- either hard or soft -- then this is the place for you. Beware, the portions are huge! The smallest cone was plenty, but I saw others with much larger cones. They also have the hard shell chocolate dip for soft serve.

If I could reverse time, I would. This ice cream was so freezer burnt that my tongue vacated my mouth, leaving my mouth wondering where my tongue had escaped to. Belittled and bruised, my tongue has vowed to never come back. In all honesty, why would it? I led it down this icy path of discomfort. Discomfort allows for growth, and I'll value growth over good ice cream any day. I'll be back.

Plenty of choices here but ice cream rules. A hopping place in summer but quiet in the shoulder seasons. Easy access just east of Walmart and Lowe's.

No trip to Maine in the spring and summer is complete without a stop at Fielder's Choice. There are multiple locations. The sizes are very generous and a great value for the price. It is cash only. My baby-size cone was $3.59. They have a drive through but I find delight in staring at the menu board and going up to the window to order. The employee who served me was very pleasant. I was served quickly. There is plenty of parking. There are picnic tables and a large grassy area so you can enjoy your treat and the kids can run around. I recommend Fielder's Choice.

This place is amazing. The ice creams are obviously homemade, they have none of the off flavors you get from big box. The prices are good as well for what you get when you order quarts. The local flavors are delicious, our favorite is the maple walnut, my kids say it tastes like pancakes. A must stop by if your in the area.

quite literally refer to this place as the heart attack shack. great if you're looking to gain a few extra pounds. their portions are outlandish. i asked for a small and they gave me like an extra large. however, it slapped. took me about two or three days to eat. although its a shame the bowling place across from here shut down. anyways yeah hope this review helped

I've cream was great! I was very surprised by how much was on a large cone. I think the guy serving me was just as surprised. Definitely could have fed a family a 4. My wife's small is more what I was expecting 😅

I can’t believe some people have complained about the prices here. for exactly 1 dollar more than the single cone at $4.69, I got four scoops of delicious strawberry with real chunks of the fruit and delicious mocha chip. Enjoyed this super place in August-September 2025: Incredible ice cream! Great service-everyone is soooo nice and professional! The staff are part of the reason why we love Fielders Choice in Brunswick. The lineup of choice is amazing- from sundaes to milkshakes to soft serve. My favorite is the hot fudge topping and the delicious peanut butter topping. I wish you had a location in Maryland! We visited the Brunswick location many times during our recent three week vacation on Harpswell. Thank you for the consistent great service and delicious ice cream sundaes. We are eagerly awaiting our next trip to Maine to enjoy Fielders Choice!

I love Fielder's coffee order & peanut butter cup flavors. Our family dog loves the pup cups! Love the drive-thru option, the convenience keeps me coming back. The staff is always super kind & accommodating. Plenty of parking if you choose to walk up to their window. Cash only might be the only negative, which sometimes catches me off guard because I'm not there often enough to remember...they do have an ATM at the front windows though.

Delicious hard and soft serve ice cream. Very kind staff. They have a good-sized menu and it was hard to decide what to get because everything sounded amazing! We ultimately got a sundae and a closer (with hot fudge, brownies, and whipped cream). The portions were so large that we actually had to stick the leftover ice cream in the fridge! Well worth the price, although next time I think I’ll try a kid’s size, haha. Heads up: they are cash only, but there is an ATM on site.

Love fielder's choice. It has become our "go to" spot for ice cream. The portions are huge and everything is delicious. You will not disappointed in any choice. They are cash only but provide an ATM on site. Lots of open space with picnic tables to sit behind the building and you can either use the drive through or walk up to the window. The girls are so friendly.

First time there from out of town. Looks like they've always taken cash, amidst the pandemic, that should be added to their drive thru board. A little inconvenient to then have to order from the front after parking. But the staff was great and our order was correct and huge.

Amazing hard serve ice cream (they also have soft of course) and quick service. Plenty of space to eat outside, and plenty of parking. Only reason I gave one star is because the portion sizes are a little outrageous. If you order a small you will get what most places consider a large. They offer "baby" sizes which I think is the perfect amount, and half "baby" sizes (at the cost of a "baby") which would be better suited for children. Overall very satisfied

A+ for size. But, a question? My husband and I love the chocolate almond joy. It used to have chunks of chocolatey coconut almond joy candy. Lately no chunks of almond joy candy, just WAY to many almonds, and a coconut flavored syrup or something. Sad. Was the recipe changed? A few more flavors would be wonderful too. Fielders Choice, you obviously did not see my addendum to this review. I put in 4 stars, and when the review posted, it changed my review to one star. I am now able to go in and update the star review, but could not immediately following the posting, which is why I immediately added another review.

Parking is plentiful, service is fast and friendly, and the quality of their ice cream and toppings is quite good. Be forewarned, though: their portion sizes are MASSIVE. Their "small" portions are easily the equivalent of most everyone else's large. Bring your appetite, and prepare for the guilt as you finish your serving...

Great place to have ice scream if you are in the area! They have both counter service and drive-thru. Prices are fair, portions are generous so plan accordingly. A small was more than enough for me. They don’t take card, only cash, which is why I docked them a star. They have an ATM on site with a service fee of $2. Outside seating was very pleasant and is fenced in making it easier to manage kids.

Good ice cream. Lines were never too long before covid. Now drive-thru car line loops around whole building. Ice cream is a little pricey, but delicious.

I love their icecream but the watermelon slushy mix was just gross. I tried to drink it but couldn't manage to without gagging. The employees are super nice! I really appreciate their courage to open during the pandemic. Their icecream is a 5 for me but the watermelon slushy is a 1 so I picked 3 stars.

I've been here quite a few times, and I just don't get it. They have many flavors of ice cream, and I have tried quite a few, but they are all insipid, and sickly sweet, with an off-putting texture. I keep going back because my girlfriend likes their sundaes, and every time I pick a new flavor, but I have yet to find one that I enjoy. And in this age, I can't understand why some businesses insist on doing cash only business. It's incredibly inconvenient.

No bathroom for customers! Unacceptable. My mom and I needed a place to go before a long trip home so we decided here. We bought ice cream but we really needed to go. I was desperate so I went over into the woods (next to customer picnic tables) and I stumbled upon ANOTHER GUY also peeing in the woods! Guess I'm not the only one. Ice cream was good but servings are way too big, we threw most of ours out. It should be illegal to not have customer bathrooms.

A huge disappointment!!!!!! BEWARE - this place takes CASH ONLY! I was up for July 4 and I’d heard great things about this place, so took the family here, and after all the kids had ordered their ice cream, we were turned away when I offered my credit card. No Apple or google pay either here. They had an atm, but I don’t carry a debit card because my credit card gives cash back rewards. So whole family was disappointed because this place won’t move out of the 19th century! Addendum: I know the real reason they want cash is to not have to pay processing fees. But seriously, wouldn’t it be better to raise prices a few cents and not have to turn people away? Plus, everyone with debit cards has to then pay the atm fee. I’d rather just pay a few cents more for the ice cream. Not very fair to your customers!!! Finally, we had checked out your website menu before going (I was drooling for the dugout floor sundae!). If you’re going to impose a cash-only restriction on your customers, IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN BIG RED LETTERS AT THE TOP OF THE MENU! That way we could have never come in the 1st place rather than being turned away. I will never come back here on future trips because your place will always be associated with memories of anger and disappointment now.
