Liam was our server this evening for a group of 9. He was friendly, quick to refill drinks and provided excellent service. The food was very tasty, too. Highly recommend the Santa Fe Salad and the BJ’s Classic Pizza.

You get good food at a decent price. Our server autumn made our date night go smoothly. Were the type to dinner in quickly, she never left us unattended for long. Happy hour mozzarella sticks are a must do.

Jocelyn and Jonathan were amazing at being our waitress/waiter each time we went there. We were in and out in a timely fashion, food was always great and they were so friendly and helpful when we asked them questions about different dishes.

Love the cookie skillet trio! Our server, Angelica was great. Super attentive and sooo helpful at helping us pick the best food options. Happy hour deals are awesome.

Jamie was our server, and it was the best restaurant service experience we have ever received. He was personable, courteous, helpful, efficient and attentive. He's an absolute gem, I hope BJ's knows how lucky they are to have him! This is only the second time in my life I've ever asked to speak to the manager about excellent service. Thank you for an outstanding dining experience!! (Food was also very good, as it always is.)

Our waitress today was Lexi ….. so sweet and did everything to keep us well served and comfortable. My pizookie came a bit overcooked and she even took care of that for us. Thank you Lexi

I came here with some of my friends for lunch, our server Kathy was wonderful. When it came to the specials she was very informative. The margarita special was my favorite; it came out delicious. As for the food, I couldn’t have asked for anything better, it was hot and yummy. This restaurant is amazing. You will definitely be seeing me again. It was a wonderful experience

We had dinner at the bar and Danielle was fantastic. She answered any questions we had, she was so helpful. She told us about the happy hour specials for the day. Today was Wednesday so she let us know about wing Wednesday. We had fantastic time, the food was excellent, drinks were great and Danielle was super awesome!!

What a great evening. We sat at the bar and Q was our bartender. What a breath of fresh air. She was right there for us we never had to wait. Her personality was the best.

I’ve been to many restaurants, but the experience here stands out—and that’s thanks in large part to Q, one of the best team members I’ve ever encountered in the service industry. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was welcoming and lively. The menu is stacked with mouthwatering options—everything from deep-dish pizzas and loaded burgers to perfectly cooked entrees and of course, their famous Pizookie for dessert. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and served hot. But what really made the visit exceptional was Q’s hospitality. Q went above and beyond to make sure our experience was perfect. Friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about providing great service, Q took the time to answer questions, offer thoughtful recommendations, and made sure we never waited too long for anything. It's rare to see someone so genuine and enthusiastic about what they do, and it really elevated our whole evening. If you’re heading to BJ’s, do yourself a favor and ask if Q is working—you won’t be disappointed. Great food + great service = a 10/10 experience. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back!

Bj’s is one of our favorite restaurants in Ct. Food is always delicious, great service. Comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Angelica made us extremely comfortable and provided excellent costumer service.

Q delivered some of the best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to making sure everything went smoothly. Every question was answered with patience and clarity, and the entire interaction felt effortless because of Q’s professionalism and positive attitude. It’s rare to find someone who goes above and beyond with this level of consistency, but Q truly did. I left feeling valued and well taken care of. Highly recommend!

What an insane deal: $35 for prime rib with 2 sides, an appetizer and a dessert! Highly recommended. Everything was so good but the real winner for me was the wings: they were super crispy with buffalo and blue cheese sauce drizzled on them which is EXACTLY how I like them. We got the strawberry shortcake pizzookie as the included dessert and that was fantastic as well. The garlic mashed potatoes were very dry and heavy and the taste was just meh. French fries were ok but I asked for them well done but they weren’t. My gf got the avocado/tortilla strip salad and really liked it. The clam chowder was really good too and a huge amount for something that came attached to a dinner special. Solid place, great service, great dinner special (and on a Saturday too no less) but if you can only try one thing, make it the wings. I can’t wait to go back and try the other flavors.

Food is excellent and beers at this brewery were not as expected. Had six types of beers but tasted diluted. However enjoyed the food. wings tasted spicy and nachos are excellent. Pizza was very good. Michelle our server was very friendly and courteous. She was very polite.

Food was delicious especially their BJ’s wings. I had the filet mignon as an entree with mash potatoes. Only reason I give them a 4 star review is because I was looking so forward to my mock tail to just be disappointed when it didn’t look like the menu but the waiter made sure my second drink order was to my liking. The ambiance was pleasant. Will definitely be back.

Chicken parm was fantastic! Salted caramel pizookie was very burnt and tasted bad. Hopefully, next time it’s better.

My wife took me to this place for the first time last week, and it was pretty nice. The restaurant is super nice inside; it is spacious with plenty of tables and TV. It’s definitely a nice place to watch your favorite sport teams. The food was good. We got the chilli (my wife loved it), loaded nacho (decent, wasn’t really special), garlic parm wings (they were amazing), and a full rack of baby back rib (pretty good). The beers were also good. We came on Thursday, so they had a sale going on. The food was cheaper than its normal price. Overall, we had a nice time, and we would definitely come back.

Caitlin was very nice. She made good suggestions. We love the pizookies. I’ve come to learn in the five times we have gone to bjs, the food will take a while to come out. For us, this is not the first place we choose to go to if we are really hungry but an option if we can wait a bit. At a minimum, I appreciate the fruit and goldfish children get to help with the wait times.

Tyler made our dining experience awesome! He brought us specific items and explained our happy hour options well. We loved the bone- in wings but thought the chips were a bit overcooked.

Got some takeout today. Their $5 wings is an exceptional deal! And they were great! However I had asked for extra wing sauce on the side and that was ignored completely. Which is disappointing. The main meals were a little less satisfying. The fried chicken with mashed potatoes and corn tasted better than it looked although I was quite disappointed in the amount of gravy or rather lack there of. The chicken parm was really the most disappointing though. The spaghetti is literally dry and the chicken has very little Parmesan. When it’s literally in the name maybe throw some on there. But really it’s the lack of sauce for me. No one wants dry spaghetti. So now I’m looking through my cupboards for spaghetti sauce to make this edible and that’s a real fail. Because when I’ve bought dinner I shouldn’t have to fix it to make it edible.

Ths wait was about 20 mins. The issue was very cold and rainy outside and the lobby doors ioen directly into the resturant so not only do you freeze waiting for a table eventhough your inside .you also freeze if you get seated in a table close to the front becuase every time someone comes / goes there is huge window so the design of that place is not good. The drinks are also waaay too expensive too be bearely notice the alcohol.

Went with some friends a few weeks ago on August 3rd. The drinks were tasty and unique. I have never seen a drink in a mini tub before nor have a i had a drink that tasted like lavender before. The pizza was also really well cooked. We ordered the pepperoni and a white pizza. In my experience deep dish is a little thicker than what we got but the taste was great. No cheese sliding off, ingredients were tasty and pepperoni spicy. Not even too greasy as pepperoni pizza is known for. The service was the only downfall of the evening. My party was large, about 7 people, but we didnt ask for anything outrageous. We asked for usual pizza stuff, ranch on the side, pepper shaker, garlic, maybe a water here and there. Nothing crazy and it was not all at once. The waitress did not check on us very often and there were long periods where we did not see here. We eventually saw that she was spending a lot of time at the take out counter. My friend had to go up and get her at one point. The table next to us which was seated after us was also a large party and their waitress who had blonde hair i believe, was finished before us and was checked in on more than us. My friend claims there is usually good service but this was my first time there and not a great experience as far as service goes.

We’ve come here on several occasions, however, this is our first time seated in the restaurant due to my sons Birthday. I’m giving this rating because my food came out 20 minutes after the rest of my families meal. I ordered the Peruvian quinoa. My husband waved to the server and told her I didn’t get my meal. When my meal arrived she apologized that they were “waiting on the shrimp.” Shrimp cooks pretty fast when I cook it. When my meal came, there were hard grains, which made me realized they never put my meal in and rushed it. They should have taken another 5 mins to ensure it was fully cooked, instead I did not have dinner. Other than that, everyone else enjoyed their meals.

The employee was very polite but since I did take out couldn't really judge the atmosphere. We ordered the Garlic Shrimp with Parmesan Toast Appetizer and California Chicken Club Sandwich. Unfortunately, the shrimp were over cooked and the avocado was hard

Came to BJ’s Brewhouse for the first time on Monday, Oct. 21 for my daughter’s birthday. The atmosphere and staff were very nice and pleasant. The food not so much. I got the jambalaya and have been sick ever since. I started eating it and felt it lacked the flavor I’m used to having with jambalaya, the shrimp still had the black veins in it and seemed translucent and floppy. I brought it home to have for lunch next day thought I’d doctor it up and remove some of the veins from the shrimp but nope still not good, nothing could save it. Also had a shareable shrimp appetizer still shrimp seemed floppy not firm and pink. My daughter kept it simple and said I should have too. They gave her free cookie and ice cream for her birthday which was nice. The birthday girl, my oldest daughter, had plain pasta with shrimp and a bowl of clam chowder, which she said was super thick almost dough like which means the cook used too much thickener, my middle daughter had a burger she said the cheese pull was excessive and the burger to bun ratio was off and my youngest daughter had a crispy chicken sandwich which she enjoyed. Both said the fries were delicious and felt they should have gotten just a bowl of fries. I guess it’s all in what you get on the menu.

First experience here. Most likely last time we’ll see this place. Service is sub par. Steak screamed when I cut it. Even after asking for it to be cooked well done, the picture shows how it came back. Server was overwhelmed or just absent minded. Burger was decent. Wings were decent.

Ordered a classic burger with cheese, cooked medium. Received no cheese and the hamburger was so burned, it was crunchy at the edges. It was like biting into a piece of charcoal! Manager was very kind and didn't expect me to pay. Server did not care. It was the person who brought out the food who asked the manager to come over. Server decided when taking my order that she would apply my rewards points and helped herself to my cell phone without asking if she could do that or even asking permission to touch my phone.

NEVER GET THE RIBS!! 33$ down the drain easily the worst ribs I’ve ever had (my go to meal at restaurants who sell them) a knife struggled to cut through these ribs and the sauce is horribly sweet masking any other flavors. Was very disappointed my whole rack of ribs ended up in the trash. I highly recommend they change the recipe. Besides that it’s a nice place, server was nice so I didn’t complain about my disappointment.

The place was dead on a Sunday afternoon. Waited 20 min for someone to come and ask us for drinks. Then an additional hour and a half wait for food. No appetizer or extravagant drinks just main meal ordered right away. Food came it was decent but don’t plan a movie after if you eat here first.

I usually like to post positive reviews, but I felt compelled to leave one because of the negative experience I had at BJ's. I met friends for lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant was empty, so we were seated right away. After that everything went downhill. Our server was not attentive. She never offered refills or came by to check on us. One meal came out with the appetizer while the other two meals came out later. The buffalo chicken wings were small and lacked flavor. My Cesar salad was soggy, and the cheddar broccoli soup was inedible. One burger was fine, but the other one was overcooked and burnt. We were not charged for the burnt burger, but I was too embarrassed to say anything about the soup. Sadly, we will most likely not be returning to BJ's.

From the moment we walked in, the experience was disappointing. All we wanted was a booth. The restaurant was practically empty, yet we were told we’d have to wait 10 minutes for one. Instead, we were seated with the busiest waitress in the place—and it showed. It took 10–15 minutes just to get water and be acknowledged. Throughout the meal, our server only checked on us maybe twice, and never once refilled our drinks. She seemed overwhelmed, even mentioning she had been washing dishes all day, which made me feel bad for her—but it doesn’t excuse the lack of service. The food timing was just as frustrating. • Pickled fries came out in about 10 minutes. • Clam chowder took 20 minutes. • My son’s classic burger and my veggie pasta took nearly 35 minutes more. He wanted medium rare came out well-done. My pasta tasted like it was left in the oven too long. By the time the entrées arrived, I had lost my appetite. The waitress blamed the kitchen being backed up, but the restaurant was not busy at all. I understand staff can be stretched thin, but when employees are overworked and frustrated, the customer experience suffers. Management needs to step up—support your staff so they can provide the service guests expect. We were driving in from Vermont, and I was genuinely excited to try this location. Instead, it was a letdown from start to finish. Sorry, but this is a hard 1-star review. Do better, BJ’s Manchester. Guests deserve better, and so do your employees.

Im so disappointed! I had high hopes (based on two previous visits...apparently I need to stick with wings!), big let down. Stopped in today for a lunch date with hubbs. Was seated at a booth, with a bit of a scowl when we declined the Hightower. Waited almost 25 min for our waitress to come to take drink order (she was great, btw). Ordered drinks with meal, cause who knew if the wait would persist. Food came, not too long after. Ordered Chicken Alfredo and Fish/chips. The chicken was the tiniest portion on a ridiculous amount of pasta (overflowing off the bowl. Not pretty) and the Fish was fried beyond being edible. When you cut it, it broke. Also. The bread came after my hubbs was done with his chicken, the bread was burnt. We weren't checked on, asked how anything was, nothing (yes, our waitress was super nice but everyone was in her section and she was crazy busy). Given what we were Served, I wouldn't want to ask either. It can't go well. Im sad I didn't take a pic of the smallest chicken breast ever. Worth $75.00 for lunch? NO MA'AM. Full regret, won't be back. I should have checked yelp first!

I get it its Christmas Eve night. We came from a flight from Swiss. Went out there to eat. It was late and people need to go home with their families. We showed up at 8:45-8:50 First one of the servers told us we close in 10 minutes trying to kick us out I told her as a joke and then we went to the bar. Ordered food the bartender seemed nice at first. We only stayed for 35-40min. In and out quick. She brings us the check for 81.64 and I give her the card so I gave consent to be charged that amount and I was planning to leave her $40 tip cash which is generous. She came back probably very discriminative towards us since we have a little European accent on us. And told me that hey I charged 90.21 Cause I forgot the ginger ale. Thats a server error and you cannot charge somebody any more money without their consent. Federal law — 15 U.S. Code § 1666 This law governs credit and debit card billing errors. It explicitly says a charge is illegal if it is: “A charge for an amount not authorized by the cardholder.” I authorized $81 I did not authorize $90 Charging $90 = unauthorized transaction I told her what you did is illegal. I didn’t give you consent. I get it servers probably see people with a slightly bit of a beautiful accent and be like oh he is not gonna tip and go to charge more without my consent. I went to school for law and I been in the industry myself I would never do that to a guest. Never. But I do appreciate this culture. I still tipped 20$ I wanted to tip $40 I can even tip $100 But I dont like the fact that people play with my money without my consent—— ILLEGAL If I give money out I give it cause I feel it,but dont play with my money like that. And thats a beautiful restaurant. The investment is on the high end. And you work there, you are there for the business. Not to make bad business. Probably should be taken more seriously from the staff cause a restaurant like that has a lot of potential with the right service.

I was given a raw steak and the waitress said it looked medium rare. She never offered us any drink refills, and she was overall rude. Do not order any steak whatsoever. She took the steak back, and it still looked undercooked and was all fat.

We visited BJ’s today and were really disappointed. My girlfriend ordered a chicken dish with mashed potatoes, and I had a burger. Both of our sides were served cold, and my burger, which I asked to be medium, came out well-done. The service was poor, and it took 25 minutes for our food to arrive. Overall, we were not satisfied at all.

The service was good. The food is absolutely trash. The quality and taste is just not good at all. The bar back dude looks like a zombie, doesn’t talk to anyone and moved super slow.

First we were seated in a booth in the bar, not asking if we minded sitting in the bar, and it was next to the restrooms. Someone had used the facilities and everytime someone opened the door to the restroom a disgusting stench permeated the area. This is a restaurant. Second, our waitress came over and took our drink orders, didn't tell us the specials like she did other tables, and was walking away as I asked if we could put in an appetizer order. My soda came, it was completely flat, my husband had to wait for his beer....in a brewhouse. Then when we were already half way done with our drinks, she finally took our orders. Appetizer comes, she places it on the table and walks away. We have no utensils or napkins. Half way through the appetizer I finally caught her eye, asked for some, she brought them over and apologized. Disappeared again. Finally our food came, which was mediocre. Mashed potatoes were boxed potatoes. We needed drink refills halfway through our meal but waitress was no where to be found, never checked on our meal, nothing. The she was conversing with customers she clearly knew. Done with meal for 20 minutes before she came over to put in my desert order which was part of the special and knew she had to get it in. Didn't ask if we needed boxes, had to ask, still didn't ask if we needed refills, took 10 minutes for my desert to come. Still no drink refills. We couldn't wait to leave and will never go back. It's even more disappointing because we went to another location out of state that was phenomenal. Service is just as important as the food. Needless to say I usually tip 25 to 30 percent since I know they work on tips.... I left 10 percent. She is lucky she got anything. A little more effort would have gone a long way for her and the restaurant.

My husband and I have been here several times. The last time we had lunch we sent back the soup because it was cold. When we got it back it was barely warm. We ate it anyway. Our sandwiches came to us incorrectly. We spoke with the manager who did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! He did not even offer a free dessert or a round of beers. Today, we walked in and the whole bar area had crumbs on it and was never wiped down from the previous night. The day time bartender should have wiped it down this am when she opened the bar. We were so disgusted we just walked out. We wanted to give them another try but it just reaffirmed our disappointment and disgust with the lack of attention to detail this establishment has.

The atmosphere was the best part. The food was horrible. My sisyer and I had the unlimited soup and salad. We both ordered the broccoli cheddar soup. It was lumpy and tasteless. We had to send it back. We got the clam chowder, that was nasty also. The salad was okay. We did not even do seconds even though it was unlimited. We did wings as starters, it was okay but they were small and meatless. My friend order the shrimp toast. She had to send it back the shrimp were under cooked. Overall the food was horrible.
