Opinions de Trattoria Italia Strada Bricco
Bricco Trattoria never disappoints. The food is consistently delicious, made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and beautifully presented. Every dish we ordered was full of flavor, from the pasta to the entrées, and the desserts were the perfect finish. The atmosphere is warm and inviting — great for both a relaxed dinner and special occasions. Service was friendly, attentive, and professional without feeling rushed. Highly recommend for anyone looking for excellent Italian food in the area. We’ll definitely be back!
What a gem! Every time we come here, we are never disappointed. The drinks, food, and atmosphere are simply the best. We highly recommend this place for all ages! 🌟 For our meal, we shared the Grilled Portuguese Octopus, which was amazing. I enjoyed the Porcini Dusted Day Boat Scallops paired with a Dubai Martini, while my husband had the Pan Roasted Halibut with an Old Fashioned. Everything was absolutely delicious! We celebrated my birthday dinner here and it was the perfect way to end the evening. If you're looking for a special night out, this is the place to go! 🎂❤️ #realtorTatyanaMakarov
Incredible dinner ! The food was outstanding, I ordered a Bolognese. Tina & Ian made the night truly special for my best friend’s birthday. She took such amazing care of us and Ian helped us by taking our photo 1 million times .If you want delicious food and heart, this is the spot. 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had reservations for 2. They were a little behind on it but we found a spot at the bar to grab a drink. Food, service and atmosphere are great
Bricco is, without question, one of the very best restaurants in Connecticut. As a true foodie, Bricco is the benchmark against which I measure every other dining experience—and very few, if any, come close. From ambiance and service to food quality and value, it is virtually unmatched. I’ve eaten at thousands of restaurants, and Bricco easily sits in the top one percent. The head chef, Billy Grant, is an absolute master of his craft. If cooking were basketball, he’d be a Scottie Pippen at worst—elite, consistent, and indispensable. I have never experienced a restaurant that delivers excellence with this level of consistency. I genuinely feel fortunate to have Bricco in my town and to enjoy it three to four times a week. The bartenders craft some of the most exceptional cocktails you’ll find anywhere, and the kitchen is always accommodating with thoughtful off-menu requests. Simply put, this is the best-run restaurant I’ve ever visited in Connecticut. I welcome anyone to tell me where the competition is—I’m still waiting.
Love Bricco! Menu changes with season, always great pies, apps, drink specials. Service is prompt, accommodating, friendly. Nice outdoor seating. Bathrooms great. Parking can be tight but the garage underground helps. Worth the wait and the parking. You won't be disappointed!
Our group arrived early for a 6:45 reservation and we were seated immediately. Our server was at our table quickly and had drinks out to us in short time. The service was phenomenal and the food was awesome. Not one complaint from 7 people! I would absolutely eat here again!
Waitress was amazing, I always ask for recommendations when goibg to new places and she knew this place really by heart (also tried a lot of the items). The cocktail tipsy cucumber was amazing. The mocktail lavender lemonade was really good not overpowering of lavender. Got the calamari which was average compared to others I've had for seasoning (cripsy tho). The mozzerella tomato arancini was above average loved the filling. Three pigs pizza was amazingggg. Known for brick oven pizza it shined, love the thin crust and flavors. The star of the show was the fennel and black pepper encrusted tuna on potato cakes. Tuna was perfect paired with its accompaniments, glad to go with the waitress recommendation. Their menu is so extensive that there is so many options to try and I would def go back! Definately recommend making an rsvp, went on a Friday and got lucky no wait for 2 people.
First off, the cocktails were phenomenal. The Espresso Martini was one of the best I've ever had, perfectly balanced, rich, and with a beautiful crema on top. It was the ideal way to kick off our meal. I had the privilege of enjoying the incredible Pork Chop Milanese, which is pictured, and it was out of this world. It was cooked to absolute perfection, with a perfectly crispy, seasoned crust and a juicy, tender interior. The lemon butter sauce and capers added a bright, tangy flavor that cut through the richness beautifully, making every bite a delight. The salad on the side was a perfect complement. The entire menu at Bricco feels like a genuine taste of Italy. You can tell they use high-quality, authentic ingredients, and everything is prepared with care and expertise. The service was impeccable, our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the food and drink. We finished the meal with another round of cocktails and dessert, and it was a perfect ending to a perfect meal. Bricco in Glastonbury is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates authentic Italian cuisine, amazing cocktails, and top-notch service. We can't wait to go back!
Mamma mia! Now listen here folks, I don’t normally go tossin’ around five stars like it’s confetti at a wedding, but Bricco Trattoria... they earned ‘em! That pizza? Ohhh, it was somethin’ special. Not heavy like some of them chain places that make you feel like you gotta lay down after—no sir! This one was light, fresh, and full-a flavor. Healthier, organic tomatoes, too, I dare say! Had this nice char on the crust and the sauce tasted like Nonna made it herself right outta the garden. And don’t get me started on the salad! Crisp, colorful, and well balanced—kinda like my Uncle Vito dancin’ at the feast of St. Anthony. Service was warm and friendly, atmosphere was cozy and country classy without bein’ stuffy. Bellissimo! This place is the real deal. Five stars all around!"
Went here a two times in the past couple weeks and it’s becoming one of my favorite restaurants. The first time I got a chicken sandwich with the spicy mango margarita for lunch and the second time I went for my anniversary dinner and got the homemade spinach linguini with shrimp and the apple sangria. Both times my food was great and service was excellent. It also has great seating options inside and outside. I highly recommend this place.
I made a reservation and when we got there our table was ready. They have an extensive menu, something to please everyone! Our waitress did a great job waiting on 6 of us! They also let us bring in our own birthday cake and only charged us to cut it. It was a great birthday dinner!
Absolutely loved our first visit here. The food was delectable, every single thing we ordered was over the top. Delicious! I loved the spicy mango margarita and both the appetizers we got (whipped ricotta and fried mozzarella) were so good. The main courses were also top tier deliciousness. Our waitress Michelle T. was so attentive and helpful and knew exactly what we needed for a big party with kids. I was treated to dinner here for my birthday and honestly I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday dinner!
Food was some top notch Italian and service was quick, attentive, and friendly!! We split the Aunt Josie’s meatballs and they were delicious. My carbonara was really nice too, lots of flavor and felt perfectly indulgent but not too heavy. Portions were perfect all around. Really couldn’t have asked for a better meal while we were in town!
Came here for lunch on Saturday and was very happy with our experience here! The atmosphere was classy, yet relaxed, and I was impressed right away by the Bricco sign on fire when you walk in. Their menu had a great variety on it - the Italian specialities you want, served creatively. We were happy with everything we ordered, and thought the pizza crust was bread-like without being too heavy. Chef/Owner Billy Grant has done an amazing job with Bricco Trattoria, and I’m very curious to go check out his other restaurant now!
My husband took me here for a nice valentines day dinner and boy how it didnt disappoint! I ended up getting the salmon with green beans and leeks and a side of carrot pure and mashed potatoes and you could taste the freshness! My husband went with the potato pizza and that was a hit as well . For the appetizer we went with artichokes paired with walnuts and a beet salad. Our waitress was also very kind and accommodating, esp when asked for her honest opinions on what she prefers better. 10/10 Would definitely recommend for a nice date night.
I came here on a Friday night to enjoy their happy hour menu and good food. We were seated inside at a table since the bar was already full which we appreciate! The prices are great for the flatbread at only $8 for a half. They put on a good amount of toppings and it's quite tasty and crispy. Our waitress was extremely nice and quick to check in on us as well. Overall I'd recommend a visit!
My friend and I stopped by for lunch today. My friend had never been to this restaurant, and after researching several area restaurants, she decided to try Bricco. I told her it was an excellent choice. My linguini with clams was very good; however, her lemon piccata with spinach was less than satisfactory. The main problem was the spinach. It was stringy and hard to chew. When our waiter came to check on us, my friend alerted him, and he called the manager over. All she did was offer her another vegetable. Since we were nearly done with our meal, my friend asked for it to go. A dessert would have been a better offer. Well, the green beans she was given were soggy and soaked in heavy butter. She tossed them. I was embarrassed because Bricco has always been in my top 10 restaurant list. A restaurant of this caliber should treat its customers better. No complaints about our server, but a manager should know better than for a new customer to leave dissatisfied. By the way, my friend had to floss for 5 minutes to get the stringy spinach out of her teeth.
Came here for both dinner and lunch in the last week. Food is excellent but the service is awful. Long waiting times and rude manager. The best item is the truffle pasta. Calamari is good too. Salad was just ok and wouldn’t get again. Amazing chicken parm as well.
The restaurant itself is nice and the pizza was good, which is why this is disappointing. However, the experience with the blonde host was poor. She couldn’t initially find my reservation and came across as condescending, until a man who appeared to be part of the kitchen staff stepped in to help her locate it. After that, she seated us in a completely empty, separate area while the main dining room had plenty of available tables, which felt unnecessary and unwelcoming. Good food, but staff—especially the host—would benefit from better training in professionalism and hospitality, as that is a key part of the overall dining experience.
I sat at the bar - not busy only 6 people Sunday @ 1:15. I practically had to ask to place my order. ask for a refill on wine. I ordered chicken picatta with fresh pasta, the chicken wasn't sautéed enough red in the middle and the fresh pasta was an upgrade charge 6.00 not worth it. I am not sure what is the big talk about this restaurant, very disappointed. I stacked my dirty dishes to get attention still ignored...I will not be voting for the restaurant of the year.
Extremely disappointing experience. We were still eating and drinking when we were abruptly told to leave because the restaurant had another reservation coming in. That is not how paying guests should ever be treated. The manager was very rude and dismissive, offering no apology or attempt to handle the situation professionally. To make matters worse, we were never asked if we wanted dessert or anything else—just pushed out. Poor management and terrible customer service completely ruined what should have been an enjoyable meal. I would not recommend this place based on how we were treated.
The evening that was supposed to be relaxing and enjoyable turned into a total disaster. We ordered pizza from a restaurant that, based on reviews, was known for its high-quality service and tasty food. However, everything went wrong. The pizza, which we had been eagerly waiting for, came with obvious signs of being overcooked. The dough was burnt, the cheese melted but, apparently, at the wrong temperature, turning hard. We contacted the restaurant to address the issue, and while the staff apologized and refunded our money, the damage was already done. The evening was ruined. So, here’s a tip: don’t order pizza online, especially on weekends. The experience just wasn’t worth the hassle.
