I honestly do not understand some of the harsh reviews because my experiences at Subway Bishop Corner have been consistently positive. Every time I stop in, the staff has been polite and focused on getting orders done correctly. I have seen them wash their hands and keep the prep area clean, and the store has always looked neat when I visit. As for food availability, it is a busy location and sometimes certain meats or items run out later in the evening, which is pretty normal for a place that stays busy. The sandwiches I have ordered have been fresh and well made. They are exactly what I expect from Subway. Service has been quick during my visits, even when there is a line. The employees seem to be doing their best with what they have, and I have always been greeted in a friendly way. I have also never had issues with being overcharged or treated unfairly. Any time I had a question about pricing or deals, it was explained calmly and clearly. It is easy to complain about a single bad moment, but judging this location as a whole, I think it deserves more credit. It is a convenient spot with hardworking staff and solid food. I will continue to come here and I recommend giving it a fair chance instead of assuming the worst based on a few negative experiences!!!

On Friday July 25, I ordered a 12-inch tuna, small soda and two cookies. They charged me just $10 and change. I said, "It's gotta be more than that," and I was told that tuna subs were on sale every Friday, as part of the "Meal of the Day" deal. I was all set to pay full-price until they informed me of this money-saving promotion. That was very much appreciated!

I love the teriyaki chicken on the artisan flatbread! Actually, anything on a flatbread is gonna be great! The guy making my sandwich was very nice and overall, I had a great experience! This is my 2nd time getting the teriyaki chicken and it certainly won’t be my last, either!

Way way way better than the other subway shop in W. Hartford Center. It’s a little hard to understand them when everyone’s wearing masks but the service was great and everyone was very helpful. Also the food was really good. I plan to return

usually I give a five star rating to this location, but Uber eats never delivered our food so we put in for a refund of our $30 plus money that we spent. Just wanted to let Subway know to be careful with Uber eats This happens to us a lot where they miss deliver or just don't deliver it, don't know what's going on with the drivers.

Unfortunately I get stuck going here often because I'm a contractor and let's be real, convenience goes a long way. The manager that works at this store is horrendous. He's rude, he's never clean. I've never seen him. Change his gloves once and every time I go in there, he picks and chooses who he wants to service in whatever order. He decides goes next. I literally had him.Take the person behind me on more than one occasion. No it's not just me because I've seen him do this in the past and never once has he apologized. On top of it, when he decides he is going to do toppings he does half and hands it over to the girls as if he's just had enouph of that one and moves on.....I hate going to this location Not to mention when the availability does present itself to go to a different location they go as far as telling you what way to put in the order to make a meal and get a discount. Not here though 😕 UGH

Fresh food, not usually very busy so nice quick option nearby. Not very heavy on the amounts of meat you get though. I grabbed a meat lovers or something to that effect and the sandwich was very thin especially for the price.

The owner who ran the place dressed like he just woke up, tried to charge me extra for an Arnold Palmer cup and chips saying I didn’t pay for a meal and then when I did pay for the meal he tried taking chips from me. Never going to Subway again, the "philly" sandwich i ordered was literally made on a hot dog roll sized bread. skimpy portions and was absolutely not worth the $14 I paid for a so called foot long. Subway has stooped to a new low with how they're using the shrinkflation as an excuse to absolutely rip-off customers with their joke of a sandwich. Make your own sandwiches at home. F Subway

I have tried numerous times to give this subway a chance and each time it's a different dilemma. Stopped by on a Friday night for two-foot longs. Right off the bat, they tell me they have no roast beef. I am sure they had some in stock but were not interested in bringing it out at 830 at night. Meanwhile, a female customer is arguing with one of the employees about a coupon discount they are not honoring. After paying more than 17 dollars, our subs were marginal at best. Very skimpy in every way and the employee smoking a cigarette in front of the store when I pulled in never washed his hands when he went inside. This place always fails at every turn. I'm just shocked they remain in business. Evidently, West Hartford patrons seem to overlook cleanliness, customer service, and a store that is not neighbor-friendly at all. Rarely do the employees have a smile on their face and the entire atmosphere is similar to a sweat shop. Never again! I gave them more than one chance which was my bad.

The guy charged me for a milk when I only ordered a footlong. Then he tried to not give me a receipt until I requested one because I knew the total was more than my tuna footlong. And then when I told him That he overcharged me. He tried to rectify the situation by giving me cookies when I really just want my money back but I just took the cookies and left. Plus I found hair on one of the cookies. Worst ever.
