A well rounded experience with exceptional service and attentive staff. The food is wonderful and drinks are delicious! The hot sake is a must. Best spicy shrimp I've had. The place is popular and loud, usually a 20 minute wait at dinner time, but they keep it flowing pretty quickly. For 5 of us with tax and tip it was $400.

Absolutely enjoyed this dining experience. The host was pleasant and prompt at seating my guest and I with a smile. Not only was the food good but the chef entertained us by making the rice into the shape of a heart 😂. We had pork dumplings, lobster, shrimp and steak. Great food and atmosphere.

1st time visiting, we loved the fact that it wasn't crowded inside, the food was soooooooo good especially the lobster!!! Long Island ice tea and ocean blue was also very tasty. My kids enjoyed the entertainment done by the chef !!! Surely will revisit !!! Prices is about $40-$40 per person.

Have been going here for a long time not as good as it used to be especially I don’t know what’s up with the fried rice. They put a lot of pepper in it. I don’t even know why pepper is in there in the first place and sometimes the meat, especially the filet mignon is a little hard or overcooked. Hopefully they’ll make things better. Otherwise at this price I’ll just go somewhere else.

Used to be my favorite spot for Hibachi but things have changed. The quality of the food has gone down, I am assuming due to budget concerns. The steak no longer tastes the same, the fried rice was bland, the soup was not seasoned properly and our chef served us an apple sized portion of zucchini that was raw and not cut properly. I had a disappointing experience here. The receptionist greeted me with ‘what do you want,’ which felt unwelcoming, and the service overall made me feel uncomfortable and judged about my order. I still treated staff respectfully, but the interaction left a bad impression. I hope management can improve customer service and communication.

Was there with a friend for dinner. Had a terrible time. They put a group of 18 kids and 2 adults in the 2 tables next to us. These kids were so noisy/rowdy the entire time. The 2 adults with the kids didn't do anything to control the kids.. No one at my table could take all the noise, even the child at our table couldn't take all the noise and sat there covering his ears the entire time. We complained to the manager who didn't seem to care and just said he can't do anything. I've gone to this Benihana over 30 years and never seen anything like.....

Its been a long time since I have been here and remember it being a million times better. Not sure if it was just the cook or tge actual food. Chicken was dry and over cooked and had no flavor. All ended up in the garbage. The mushrooms had absolutely no seasoning and tasted horrible. Again all ended up in the garbage. Asked for my steak to be medium and it was purple inside. 1/2 the food i paid for , and it isn't cheap any more, ended up in the garbage. Probably a never again for me. This was for my daughter's birthday and we got the most unenergetic chef. This was a big disappointment all around.

I feel bad for even giving a bad review for benihana.. I ordered thur door dash. Almost $100.00 worth of food.. My card was charged and I was waiting for my order to come to find out later it was cancelled.. I was so upset that this happened.. We were there on 2/7 night for anniversary. We were seated and later 4 teenage boys sitting next to us. One white boy sitting next to my husband with a joking manner asking if we use (need) training chopsticks? We are Asian and older. My husband took it very offensive and racial. When I approached the front desk asking to change the table. They just looked at me like what is the big deal after I explained to them. My family were very angry and decided to leave. An Asian man at the front desk then said, let me know if you want to change table or leave? What? Terrible service staff and supervisor.

$50 hibachi served with white rice is the biggest scam for a so-so food. The worst part is to change $7 extra for noodle and $7.50 for fried rice. I personally have never seen hibachi served with white rice. They change the extra $7 even for the kids menu. The chef was ok, the presentation was the shortest. The worst amongst any other hibachi place that I have been to. The waitress was literally running between tables. The place is nuts. I would say, save you money and time and eat somewhere else. PS.l, I really dont know how they got such a good review in google, I saw the 1.8 star rating in Ressy and saw the google review and thought it may have been a mistake, but 1.8 is still very generous. The google review here does not represent the star here on this resturant. Lastly, there are 3-4 very basic low quality sushi here which was not even fresh.

am writing to formally complain about my experience at your Benihana location yesterday. I had not stepped foot in this location for over 10 years, and I was extremely disappointed by the condition of the restaurant. The ceiling and the area above our table appeared damaged and looked as though it could fall apart at any moment, which immediately raised concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. After eating your food, I became very sick throughout the night. I spent approximately $950 and ordered the filet mignon (Chateaubriand). The meat was in very poor condition and had a strong, unpleasant smell. I stopped eating the meat after only two pieces. I immediately informed the waitress, who said she would get the manager; however, the manager never came to speak with me. On my way out, I again reported the issue to the hostess at the front desk, who stated she would inform the manager. This experience is completely unacceptable, especially considering the cost and reputation of your restaurant. Serving meat that smells bad is a serious food safety concern. Additionally, I observed the chef using the same utensil that was used to flip raw chicken to handle the rice and mixed vegetables, raising serious concerns about cross-contamination and sanitation practices. Because of this experience, I will never return to this location. I strongly urge management to conduct immediate reviews of food quality, food-handling procedures, and overall facility maintenance, including proper inspection of food before it is served to customers. This was a disgusting and unacceptable experience, and I expect this matter to be taken seriously. Reservation: Peter , Tuesday 12-30-25 at 5:30 PM

If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. The only reason it’s getting even 1 star is because the food itself wasn’t terrible — but let me be clear, the service was an absolute nightmare and completely ruined the entire experience. From the second we sat down, the staff acted like they didn’t care about us because we were just kids. They were rude, disrespectful, and treated us like we weren’t worth their time. It honestly felt like we were a burden to them instead of paying customers. Then came the bill — and that’s when things really got bad. They literally added items that we never ordered onto the check, and when we pointed it out, the server flat-out lied and said that we did. That is dishonest and disgusting behavior. We ended up paying it just to get out of there, but the fact that they thought they could scam us because we’re younger is ridiculous. One of my friends had to call her mom to add money to her card, and instead of being patient or professional, the waiter actually called her crazy. Who does that? That’s not only unprofessional, it’s insulting. And let’s talk about the tip situation — because that was sneaky beyond belief. The tip was automatically included in the bill, and it was calculated after taxes, not before (which is the normal, fair way to do it). On top of that, when we went to pay, the screen only gave us “choices” of 18%, 20%, or 25%. No option to enter your own amount. When I asked about it, the server straight-up told me no, I couldn’t change it. That’s basically forcing people to overpay. At that point, I had to call my mom in, and suddenly, as soon as she showed up, the waitress magically changed her story. She admitted she was wrong, and my mom called the manager over. The manager gave us the pathetic excuse that “it was busy” — as if being busy makes it okay to scam customers, lie, and treat people like trash. As soon as my mom was standing there, they were suddenly able to “fix” the bill, remove the items we didn’t order, and let us pick our own tip. So clearly they knew what they were doing all along. This whole experience was sneaky, dishonest, unprofessional, and downright disrespectful. I will never go back to this Benihana, and I would warn anyone else thinking about it to stay far away unless you want to be lied to, disrespected, and overcharged. Additionally, I would like to say that we had a reservation for 6pm, checked in at 5:50pm and we never got seated until almost 6:30 which I thought was very rude, and nobody even apologized.

I have to say this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve ever had. I’ve been to many hibachi restaurants before, but this was my first time at Benihana—and it will definitely be my last. The service was horrible from the start. Our hibachi chef, “Chow,” acted like he absolutely hated his job and didn’t want to be there. There was no energy, no personality, and none of the fun tricks or engagement you normally expect at a hibachi table. To make it worse, there was no sake offered and the overall atmosphere felt flat. We came to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, and another family at our table was also celebrating. Neither celebration was acknowledged in any way. At hibachi restaurants, you usually expect at least some recognition, fun, or effort to make it special—especially for birthdays—but there was nothing. Overall, it felt like a complete waste of time and money. If you’re looking for good food, great service, and the lively hibachi experience you’d expect, I’d recommend going elsewhere.
