Opinions de Tacolicious Manhattan Beach
Great tacos with great friends! Queso, chips and salsa also excellent! Thank you!
Tacolicious is the move when you want Mexico City style street tacos with a trendy, California twist. Service was great! I ordered the lunch special: choice of two tacos with pickled onions, three signature salsas, and soup or salad. The variety of tacos to choose from will hit all of your cravings, and there is something on the menu for everyone. I chose the Invierno with butternut squash, brussels sprouts, cashew cream, poblano, and red bell pepper, and the Mushroom “Carnitas” with brussels sprouts slaw, cotija cheese, house made orange sauce, kale, and refried black beans. Both were delicious! The small Marina Girl Salad—featuring avocado, chopped romaine, cotija cheese, cucumber, jicama, pepitas, radish, and a jalapeño vinaigrette—was excellent and freshly made. Affordable prices and plentiful portions. Has a colorful, fun, lively, sunny atmosphere with great music and friendly bartenders and food runners. Fantastic beer list, reasonably priced drinks, particularly strong cocktails. I loved the Pasión, a spicy, fruity blend of Milagro Silver Tequila, citrus, habanero, and passionfruit. Perfect for date nights or catching up with friends over way too many happy hour margaritas. Will be back soon! Particularly interested in trying the house made fresh pressed juices next time.
Me and my friend get some food and honestly everything was tasty, principally the crispy shrimp. The tacos are incredible as well. The waiters were very friendly and polite. Will come back soon!
Fun, reasonably noisy, Mexican restaurant, with reasonably priced (for SF) tasty and solid food, that was packed when we dined there last minute on a Saturday evening before going to a film. We didn’t have a reservation and happily sat at the bar. The bartender-staff were attentive, friendly and very accommodating. Our vegan diner selected a tasty salad while I went for a two-taco $15 chicken taco plate that comes with a selection of four distinct salsas. The tasty table salsa and chips were refilled upon request without complaint. We were able to get in and out with ease in under an hour.
We live close by and love coming here for a lunch or dinner. Tacos are really good and beer selection is diverse. If the Warriors or 49ers or Giants are playing great to sit at the bar! The staff is great and service is fast! They having dining outside on Chestnut St which is fun too! I definitely recommend coming here for all these reasons!
The atmosphere is lively and family friendly. The staff is friendly(Rachel is awesome) and attentive. We were able to try a new dessert they added to the menu(Carmel Flan) and it was just the right proportion for two to share. Will be visiting again soon. Also every Monday, they donate 10% of their proceeds to a local school, which is a bonus reason to visit!
If you’re in San Francisco and craving tacos, Tacolicious on Chestnut Street is a must-visit spot! We recently stopped in and ordered four different tacos, and each one had its own unique flavor, clearly crafted with care. Every taco was delicious, and the sauces that accompanied them were the perfect finishing touch. Impressively, they offer four sauces ranging from mild to spicy, all homemade and clearly prepared with fresh ingredients. The sauces truly complemented the flavors of the tacos without overpowering them. The service was another highlight. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted and seated promptly. Our server was polite, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, which made the experience even better. They didn’t just serve our food; they genuinely made sure we had everything we needed for a great meal. Tacolicious combines fantastic food with quick, friendly service, and we can’t wait to go back!
Tacolicious Marina in San Francisco, CA: "Tacolicious is a great spot for authentic Mexican food. The tacos are always fresh and flavorful, and the margaritas are top-notch. I especially love the shrimp tacos and the grilled octopus. The service is also excellent, and the atmosphere is fun and lively. I highly recommend Tacolicious to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Mexican meal." Here are some specific details about my experience at Tacolicious Marina: The tacos were made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The tortillas were soft and flavorful, and the fillings were cooked perfectly. The margaritas were well-made and refreshing. I had the classic margarita, and it was perfectly balanced. The service was friendly and attentive. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and made recommendations that we enjoyed. The atmosphere was fun and lively. The restaurant was crowded, but it didn't feel too noisy or chaotic. Overall, I had a great experience at Tacolicious Marina. The food was delicious, the drinks were excellent, and the service was top-notch. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Mexican meal. Here are some additional tips for your visit to Tacolicious Marina: Make a reservation, especially if you're planning to visit on the weekend. Be prepared to wait for a table, as the restaurant is often crowded. Try the shrimp tacos or the grilled octopus. Order a margarita or another Mexican cocktail. Enjoy the fun and lively atmosphere.
Service was very nice, quick and kept checking in regularly. The atmosphere was so nice and welcoming. Loved the plants a lot! They serve chips and salsa as soon as you get seated - it’s bottomless. So you can have a lot of chips and salsa! But most important - the food was so good! All tacos tasted so good, very fresh and yummy!
Absolutely wonderful taco establishment located in a lively San Francisco neighborhood. Huge points for the taste and variety of tacos, the free chips and salsa which was delicious, the ultra friendly staff, and the overall vibe of the restaurant. We loved our visit here - details on the categories above follow: [The Food] The food here was delicious to say the least, and if you like spicy food you will not be disappointed. The restaurant offers mostly tacos that come in 1, 4, or 10 at a time (buy 10 due to the discount). We tried Carne Asada, Carnitas, Camarones, and Braised Beef. Everything was amazing, but we found Carnitas to be the most delicious. The tacos are well made with wonderful sauces on the side. Everything had a lot of care put into it. The carne asada tacos were a little unremarkable, but everything else was great. Also, they give free chips and salsa as much as you'd like. The salsa that comes with the chips was nice and warm, and had a delicious smokey flavor to it! [The Drinks] They also have a good selection of beer and cocktails. We tried the white ale they had and also ordered their popular seasonal watermelon margarita. It was great. You could taste the alcohol but it wasn't overpowering. The drink was well balanced and professionally made. Huge shout out to the bartender. [Customer Service] The customer service here was also amazing! Everyone here was so nice to us, came up and talked to us, and whenever we needed anything it was addressed quickly. From the hostess, the waiter, and the general staff, everyone was so nice to us. Huge shoutout! [The Location] The restaurant is located somewhat near to the Marina and a short drive to the Presidio, the Golden Gate Bridge, and other restaurants and shops. The area has a decent amount of parking, but can be hard to find at times. The restaurant has a great vibe to it with nice art on the walls. It has outdoor and indoor seating, and it's kept very clean. Highly recommended!
We ordered 4 chicken tacos and one braised beef taco. Both were shredded and yummy. The condiments were great. All in all the tacos were 8/10. A good solid option. The chilaquiles were on the softer side but we really great. And the portion is definitely made for 2 people. Don't be fooled by the color is not spicy. They loaded it with a lot of avocado and egg and it was yum. My mom got the Kale Salad and said it was good. It looked good :) service was great everyone had a smile and were very attentive. They have outdoor seating if you have dogs
A great spot for almost traditional options with a fun twist! The service was friendly and the best part about the whole experience...endless chips and salsa! And the salsa is reallly good. They also serve the tacos with 4 condiments included which was great. The tacos had great flavour and there are deals depending on how many you got. Would recommend for the nice lunch! Gets busy though

Incredible service! Delicious and authentic Mexican food. Lots of GF options and our waiter sent us home with complimentary chips and salsa (which is delicious)
Delicious, fresh salads, yummy chips, great outdoor seating, nice pleasant service, quick
Loveee this pot!! A little pricier for taco but always a good time! Lots of taco and margarita options. And great for groups! It gets a bit crowded so arrive early! Can't wait to be back!!
A taco place in SF. It has good food and good options for decent prices. It is Fishermans ward area so it can be pricey down there. Drinks were not bad, but mostly they only serve tequila.

We had delicious vegan tacos, great chips and salsa, and an outstanding pitcher of mezcal margarita, all of which made for a fun time for friends!

Amazing lunch with my teenage daughter. Great service - the beef tacos were the best! Super fun to sit on the street! Great neighborhood ☺️❤️
Visited for a quick bite and drinks. The place has a nice ambience (with music a bit too loud for having conversation) and good presentable food and drinks. The servers are very good and helpful. The only thing I would like to be improved is to give 4 different variants in an order of 4shot chupitos, else it doesn't make sense to just have same drink split into 4 glasses
Good tacos, but average for the price. The corn tortillas disintegrated as soon as I picked it up, so I just ate them with a fork. Not a big deal, but soggy nonetheless. I gave the cold brew horchata a try and not a flavor I can get into. I love a horchata by itself but not with cold coffee. Cool concept and I’m sure there are others who love it. Friendly, fast service. Food was at the table in minutes!
Had 4 Tacos and the beet salad for a late lunch! Recommend both since the beets were freshly done and served w goat cheese to add some salty flavor to them. Tried Fish and Chicken taco and I would recommend the fish taco over the chicken which lacked a bit of character compared to to the fried fish. The service was a bit slow but they were busy.

Lovely outdoor area. A nice spot for people watching. Sabrina our server was awesome, we'll be back to hang with her. Great drinks, we need to come back for tacos!
I’ve eaten here off the regular menu about 5-6 times. I like the atmosphere, the pitchers of margaritas, and the food is generally OK, but geared towards the neighborhood. Tried the new happy hour menu, but it’s even more geared towards gringos than their regular menu. The HH nachos $8 come with canned cheese sauce, and the HH Clown tacos $8 for 2 were filled with a bean/meat paste. $8 house Margarita. $32 with tax and tip for a drink and 2 snacks. Anyhow, still a decent place to watch a game at the bar and have a drink + chips & salsa (free). I found the food to be ordinary and Marina-priced, though. Service was lukewarm, not cold and depends on the server/bartender.
This place was just ok. It was more of a "fancy" taco experience it did not have that street taco taste. The beef was better than the chicken it was full of flavor. The Guac lacked flavor it needed more lime and salt. The bean dip was the best and the cheese sauce was spicy but tasted like the kind you could get at the super market. I had a margarita and it was perfect but my friend said his was too sweet. Over all I wasn't impressed and wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a good street taco. We had beef, chicken and chorizo tacos.
Not bad, but fairly overpriced. Food was fresh/ prepared well but half of the taco selections are really gimmicky. On that note; I don’t recommend the pastrami taco. Guacamole is handmade but expensive. I can see why this place is popular with the ‘marina girls’ ….but the portions aren’t sufficient for a 200 pound male with an athletic metabolism to get their moneys worth.
Very pricy but on the plus side the tacos actually have a good portion of meat/protein in them and they don't skimp. They did get my drink order wrong but otherwise the staff was friendly and expla…

The fish tacos were pretty good! However, it is 15 dollars for 2 tacos which is so not worth it. You can get better tacos for better prices in my opinion

The ambiance is lively and fun. The food is overpriced. The chips were probably two days old, which is quite a turnoff.
The fish tacos were excellent, but I found the price ridiculous for the size of the tacos. And $15 for a margarita? Yikes!!!

Very very poor sanitation at the bar and very bad service. I didn't see him wash his hands once in 1.5 hours, after handling trash, money, dirty dishes.... not once. Avoid if you don't wanna get sick.

One of the employes were harassing a photographer on a public sidewalk! I do not know what is wrong with these people, they're literally a camera on every corner or store front!
I love the food here, the tacos are amazing, but, I recently had a very bad experience with the service. This happened on a Sunday, and the restaurant closes at 9:00 PM. My friends and I arrived around 8:40, and we were seated without any issue. We were told we could still order and that it wouldn't be a problem. However, we experienced several issues. We ordered a Coke at the beginning of the meal, but it wasn't brought to us until we were completely finished with our food, and that was after reminding them about it. I also had to ask at least three times for paper napkins before someone finally brought them. Overall, it was very unpleasant trying to get any assistance; I would call for a waiter and be completely ignored. Even then, I tried to be understanding because it was close to closing. The last straw was when the check came. Our bill came out to about $93, and we tipped 8% based on the service we received. The waiter then asked if something was wrong, but not in a polite or constructive way. I calmly and respectfully explained why I felt the service hadn't been good. His response was simply, "Well, it's the end of the night," said in a very rude tone, and then he turned his back and walked away. I still try to be understanding, but we left around 9:10 PM, and there were still other customers dining. If a restaurant can't provide proper service after a certain time, they shouldn't seat customers that late. But if you choose to accept customers, you should still provide good and respectful service. I could be okay with all of that except the rude waiter. You may ask about your trip, but you can never be that rude to a customer. I have suggested this place to a lot of my friends because of their tacos, but this was so disappointing and I'm not sure even if I would ever go back, and I will definitely share this experience with all the friends I recommended this place.
