Opinions de Radhaus San Francisco
What a great place! My daughter and I were looking for a casual place to stop during our walk and felt so lucky to have found Radhaus. The beer hall was pretty chill when we were there for a late lunch but I can imagine it getting crowded later in the day. Jesus and his crew took care of us with warm service and amazing hospitality. We ordered the oysters, deviled eggs, potato pancakes and bratwurst, and everything tasted fresh and home made. I got a Pilsner and my daughter a lemonade and we ended our wonderful meal with a rich and outstanding carrot cake. Can’t wait to visit again!
What a perfect location! On the water with a view of the bridge and epic beer/yummy food! Also, tables for dogs to sit outside…or inside! Great service too. We’ll be sure to come back!
The best beer bar in San Francisco with an unmatched view of the Golden Gate Bridge. The staff treat you like family and the food is cozy and delicious. Perfect place for a foamy Kellerbier after a bike ride, afternoon pretzel and Currywurst, or evening cocktail under the amber lights. All are welcome here and a must visit if you’re in the Marina. Say hi to Adalith, Nate, Claudia, Carlos, Jesus, Amanda and the rest of the awesome team we’ve gotten to know over the years.
Food was good, but the atmosphere and service was the highlight. Jesus was our waiter and was an absolute legend and great vibe overall.
The kind of place I wish I owned. Huge, interesting space. Amazing vibe. Excellent service. Beer I had was in house and tasted like home-brew but should have expected that. Food good. Brussels Sprout stand out.
Absolutely phenomenal experience! Amazing German food with rich, unique flavors and perfectly paired beers that are truly exceptional. The service was flawless, and the atmosphere offered beautiful views and a warm vibe great for groups or parties. Highly recommend for a memorable dining experience!
Had Radhaus for the first time and was shocked to find some of the best service in the industry. Food was outstanding, we ordered a variety of snacks and sandwiches and not a single plate missed. Jesus was our server and not only was he incredibly friendly but also super helpful and understanding, five out of five for the incredible atmosphere, super yummy, worth a visit and sure to make you smile.
We saw this place on Bay Area Check Please and we're super excited to try it! We live in Monterey but we're in the city for the day and lucky for us, it was right by our hotel! Jose was our server, and he was great! The food, just amazing. I had the Smash burger and my hubby had the Chicken Schnitzel sandwich. We were blown away. Absolutely delicious, great views, great beer selection and overall an amazing experience. Can't wait to go back! Run, don't walk to this place!
They were incredibly accommodating. My friend and I had a very limited amount of time and Jesus made sure we got a table and our food super quickly and we were able to be in and out of there in under 30 minutes. The food was also amazing. I would definitely recommend the pretzel, german meatballs, and Brussel sprouts. The views were also gorgeous
How is Radhaus not on every MUST EAT list in San Francisco?! Maybe it is, maybe it’s not, but it took me 3 years to stumble upon this magnificent establishment! I cannot wait to go back. From the time we were seated until we left, we felt at home. We came to Fort Mason for the Christmas market which we apparently missed because it was only last night, not all weekend. My bad. So it was pure luck we saw Redhaus tucked away in the Fort Mason buildings with beautiful views of the Golden Gate Bridge (when Karl isn’t in full effect 🌁) and the bay. We sat at the counter, I prefer to see the action. Jesus, our server, greeted us almost immediately, took our drink order and suggested the pretzel. We were starving so we wanted to order the full meal, he was patient and knowledgeable about the menu with good food recommendations. We got the elderflower heffenwiezen cocktail. It was the best beer I’ve ever had in my life (for brunch)! The pretzel came, and all bets were off, this quickly became one of our favorite restaurants. The Radhaus breakfast plate came out very fast and it was beautiful. It’s hard to believe it tasted even better than it looked. But wait… there’s more… (I’m in sales and advertising)…. Jesus was chatting us up and we asked about the Chef….my husband and I guessed who the chef was in the kitchen by the way he moved around the kitchen… Chef Jorge came over in his Boston Red Sox hat (we won’t hold that against him), he was so polite, welcomed us and then…. THEN…we saw him opening a cake canister like your Mom has in her kitchen and pull out the most delectable looking piece of carrot cake ever! He swiftly added some orange shavings (you can tell I’m not a chef or food critic)… my Husband and I LOVE carrot cake, it’s one of our favorites! We both said “man, we have to order that cake next time, it looks too good!” And then Jesus brought the cake over to us and said compliments from Chef Jorge!!! It felt like Christmas morning and we said I don’t care how full we are we’re eating this whole slice right now! Chef Jorge, the mind reader, came over and said thank you to US! Thank you Jesus and Chef Jorge for the incredible culinary experience and hospitality. Radhaus is top notch, for any occasion. You must go!
Apart from the great location, stunning venue, and delicious food & drinks, it’s the staff that really elevates this place. I was seated right and away even though the restaurant was packed, the staff took their time and didn’t make you feel rushed at all. (I was alone and occupying a table that could’ve seated 4). I waited maybe 5min before my waiter enthusiastically took my order, not hesitating to share some of his personal favourites. He also checked in multiple times to make sure everything was to my liking and gave me a complimentary pretzel which was potentially the most buttery one I’ve ever tasted. I was here for the first time 5 years ago and this place has aged like a fine wine. Big shoutout to my waiter, Jesús!
This place was absolutely phenomenal. We got a pretzel, the jagerschnitzel with spatzle, and the smash burger, and everything was amazing. The taste was very authentic and fresh. Jesus was busting his butt during a very busy lunch service, yet still provided great service to our table. Even the views were amazing through all the windows. The biggest let down for me is that I don’t live in San Francisco so I can’t come here all the time!
Dropped in here for a spot of lunch after a hike around tunnel toppers and fort point. Well worth a visit! The food was excellent. Our group of 4 had 4 different dishes and they were all superb. One of the best fingernudlns I've ever had. Good beer selection, as you would expect. We started outside and eventually moved inside. They were having trouble lighting their table side warming lamps, not exactly a disaster. The service was great. A very relaxed, very clean, very efficient operation they have going here. Can highly recommend it.
I loved this place! Perfect afternoon stop after a day of touring. The bratwurst plate was delicious and my man enjoyed his chicken schnitzel. I'm not a beer person so I ordered their ginger beer, which was ginger-forward, and my partner ordered a dark beer. All-in-all this was a 5/5 experience all around.
Really cute spot with such kind staff and great service! Been here several times and staff is so friendly and attentive and it’s always a great vibe with beautiful views of the water. There are several vegan options available by modifying items on the menu (salads, potato pancakes and I believe the Brussels sprouts and fries). Dog friendly too! Reservation is helpful during busy times like sunday morning/aft
One of the gems of the city if you want to be a lil away from the crowds of the inner city, while enjoying a nice view of the Bay. Perfect place to bring your dog after a walk in Crissy Field or near Fort Mason, or after a run. If you're looking for German pretzels, highly recommend coming to this place. You can go classic with their pretzel paired with mustard or if you're looking for something sweet, the pretzel french toast. Classic pretzel is stretchy and soft. The french toast is kind of like warm and crispy monkey bread, served with syrup, fresh fruits, and whipped cream. On top of the food, the team is welcoming and accommodating. Huge thanks to the Radhaus team and Jesus! They were able to quickly seat us next to a window with a view of the bridge, serve us delicious food, and give us to-go boxes when we had a tight schedule of 35 minutes. Recommend if you're looking for some good pretzel, vibes, and view!

Windows look nice, so light and bright. But it also heats up the place like an oven. It’s also loud in here. Hostess was great. Bathrooms are nice but there’s always a line. Food is ok. Not cheap.
Sit outside if it's warmer; it's quieter too. Restrooms are descent Their pretzel is overpriced. Should be $5 or less OK N/A Radler GOOD Bratwurst ---------- They should have not dried it out on the top right layer like they do a hot dog. Mustard was sweet and they should have more options. Bring your own mustardor ask if they have other mustard. mashed potato, needed more sauce. They were skimpy on the sauce EXCELLENT Sauerkraut
Radhaus in San Francisco is a hidden gem that brings Bavarian charm to the heart of the city. Nestled in the Fort Mason Center, this beer hall offers incredible views of the Bay, which pair beautifully with its lively and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re visiting with friends or stopping in solo, Radhaus delivers a memorable dining experience. The menu is thoughtfully curated, offering a selection of traditional Bavarian dishes with a modern twist. From hearty pretzels and house-made sausages to rich, flavorful schnitzels, every dish feels authentic and satisfying. Their cheese spaetzle was a personal favorite—a perfect comfort food indulgence. The beer selection is equally impressive, featuring a range of imported German brews served in traditional glassware, which enhances the experience even more. The space itself is stunning, with its high ceilings, large communal tables, and plenty of natural light. It’s casual yet sophisticated, striking a perfect balance for a laid-back meal or a celebratory gathering. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, always happy to recommend a dish or beer pairing. If you’re looking for a fun, flavorful, and scenic spot in San Francisco, Radhaus is a fantastic choice. It’s a place I’ll definitely return to!

Great dark beer I've ever drink. Unique taste - the bit covered with soft sweet taste. Feel like soft dark beer but it's really strong. The bratwurst is delicious too

We visited this place about two months ago as a group of three, and I’ve been debating whether to leave a review. On the positive side: the food was really delicious, the beer was excellent, the location is good and lots of natural light inside. Service from one of the servers was very good and attentive. Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by the way we were treated at the entrance. When we first arrived, it was quite busy, and the bearded man at the door almost completely ignored us, giving us a rather dismissive look. We tried not to let it ruin the day. Later, other staff member started asking if we were leaving or not and moved us to another table because a large group was arriving. The worst part was at the end: when we were ready to leave, the entrance man(not our server) silently dropped off a check with a large-party fee included with a pen to include more tip, even though we were only three people. It felt as if he assumed we wouldn’t notice, maybe because we’d had drinks. When we asked our server, he apologized and brought us the corrected bill. And we tipped him great because he was the only one with positive attitude there. Spending over $300, I would expect better treatment. The food and drinks were great, but the attitude from staff members left a very bad impression.
Disappointing experience here. First off, the food was the good part. Good, rich taste and nice presentation. The space is cool. But the service didn’t live up to the rest. 20 minutes after finishing the meal, I had to get up from the table and ask someone behind the bar for the check. Nobody checked in on us at all after dropping off the food. The service sucked, plain and simple.
