Very nice restaurant with screens and outside dining. The chips and smokey salsa was great w a Modelo. Had tacos asada with sauce which were full flavored and filling. Great drink selection and lots of staff made things fast and friendly. I will be back to try the fajitas on the patio.

First time here 01/24/25 Josh was a good guy to clear a table for me made sure my food came out so I can get to my movie on time was good not hot as I would like it but flavor now the fish tacos are fried which taste like store brand gordan fish sticks would come back busy place kinda clean

Honestly, this Mexican restaurant isn't terrible, I've seen worse. But this place isn't the best. It's about average all across the board. But there are a few things I'd like to pick out that I did enjoy, so here we go. Mozzarella sticks were probably the number 1 thing my family and I all enjoyed the most. They were crispy and soft, and the texture of the Mozzarella was perfect! For sure if I come back it would be, because of these bad boys. Courteous chips and salsa were my next favorite. Not so much the chips them selves because they don't taste handmade, just the salsa. The salsa 100% taste handmade and isn't spicy but has a small kick, but it's nice to have something different. Salmon and shrimp were good, but I really wished It had lemons 🍋 but it was good. It is not really special, it was okay. Tacos were way better. Most definitely had everything you would want in a taco, taste and flavor, and condiments. Also, pricing is restaurant price, so yeah. Kids Mac and cheese was one of the worst. It literally tastes like it came out of the Mac and cheese box.....yeah Service was alright. I finished my water and so did my kid and we had to wait for a while before we got water... so it was alright. Overall, it's average. Has its plus and negatives. Would come back if I wanted more of those mozzarella sticks for sure!

it was alright, fish felt like cheap and frozen. the jalapeño knots were the best thing there everything else was alright. Service kept forgetting stuff(there wasn’t many people), server forgot my drink and brought it mid meal so i didn’t really get to enjoy it. also why was a mocktail more expensive than the alcohol 😭😭 no where did it say it was $10, do not get a “new” mocktail. Also idk what was up but it was sooo bright like spot light white. (also no music just tv noise) so kinda ruined the atmosphere. lucky for me i had good company that made it worth it. Personally I would go somewhere else, unless u want the bread 😢 ( also no free chips and salsa anymore and my meal didn’t come with torts)

As you all know I always try to help the community by giving an honest review of my experiences when I visit restaurants. On this recent outing I visited Tato's restaurant in Manteca. I found the food decent overall and the atmosphere good however overall my experience was less then enjoyable. When we placed our order we were told no substations when I asked them to leave off the rice and replace it with beans. Then when my wife's order came in incorrect (she requested no cheese on her beans) they told her to scrap the cheese off and put it on the side of her plate otherwise a new order could be placed but we were told it could take 12-15 minutes. Lucky for me I do enjoy cheese so I scraped the cheese off and ate it myself. On a side note they only gave us 2 tortillas for 2 meals and when we asked for more we were informed of the extra charge. The drinks they also got wrong, we ordered 2 Margaritas blended but we got 2 Margaritas non-blended. The prices are also much higher then typical Mexican restaurants. My expectations for this establishment were high and sadly what I was met with was disappointment. Avoid this place at all costs, there are much better restaurants in the city of Manteca

Standard food you can find in a Taqueria cooked and prepared with care. Portions are great services is standard plus. Plenty of room for seating for your next big visit. Open bar as well. Girlfriend says it was ok..she liked the hand made flour tortillas so that was a good sign.

A party of us came in of seven people. It took a very long time to get our drink order and then they missed a few of them. Then comes dinner three of us got our dinners and it took over 10 minutes for the rest of the table to get our meals. I ordered a burrito a la carte it was so dry but I kept trying to order hot sauce to make it better it did not help. My wife ordered the grilled fish it came out fried and it was so overcooked that she couldn't eat it, she wasn't about to order another one because it took so long the first time around. My daughter ordered the grilled shrimp. It was Dripping with grease we could not understand that if it was grilled. My son-in-law order the pizza he said it was so salty. My mom ordered the cheese quesadilla pretty hard to mess that one that meal was fine. Two grandkids had a child's meals, they did not say anything. We also ordered a side of rice and beans for the grandkids. That never made it to the table. Then when we questioned her about it she said we never ordered it, well seven of us heard that, she got kind of an attitude with it so we just forgot about it. I would expect for us paying over $200 for a meal and drinks that it would have been very good. Probably the worst Mexican food I've had in my life

Been here several times and always a great experience. A few Mondays ago we went and something was way off. Maybe it was an off night. People got up and left so there was only about three tables with customers. Service was really slow. After the food arrived...we waited a while for napkins and utensils. Overcharged $30 for alcohol that was paid for at the bar.. Super stuffy inside with zero air circulation. Just an off night.

I ordered the quesabirria tacos. The meat was dry and not enough cheese and a little oily. The consomé tasted burnt and also oily. The carnitas burrito was dry and small. Service was slow. We were a big group but it was not busy. Staff is friendly but slow.

Went last week during the afternoon our 1st time ..nobody was there which makes the service even worse. Waitress acted like we were annoying her and she was to busy to answer our questions. Then just rude and asked for manager n she was nice for a minute then got an attitude and wouldn't fix the problem...not the way to win manteca resident customers to come back. Food was good but service ruins is,especially when your empty and you could have turned that problem around. Oh well lots of other Mexican restaurants in manteca.

They get your order wrong but still upcharge you hoping you won't try to come back and argue. No matter what the recipt says at the end of the day you will be charged but the order is just wrong. I am sorry I won't be going back. The prices are much to high for this level of professionalism. You'll get apple bees service with much higher prices. Go to el Jardin. Save your peace of mind and money. Look else where. It's a huge order taking / service problem. (Second time I get charged for a super but they still refuse to put sour cream and avocado) they will tell you it's fine then you get to your destination and find this.... not worth it.

Came in at 12:03pm. Placed an order at the bar to go, 3 tacos. 10 min later 9 people came in and sat at the bar. They all ordered got their food and drinks in 10 min. At 12:33 I got my 3 tacos. 30min wait and$25 for 3 tacos to go is crazy
