I stop by when I am in Manteca on a regular basis. If you want to go beyond greasy fastfood, El Pollo Loco is always fresh and satisfying. The drive thru is quick and the employees rock!

You get delicious chicken for "normal" prices. Price-value ratio is right. We will come back.

I usually go to El Pollo Loco because I love their chicken and their "meal deals". I just tried their chicken burritos and WOW! These are the best burritos I have ever had. The burritos are enough to fill you up, and they are so flavorful. Very different from a typical burrito. It is my new most favorite lunch treat!

The Ambience Was on point the manager was extremely helpful the staff was clean the Russians drew clean the food was well prepared and The presentation was exceptional. You can't call this place fast food it's more like home grown food. ! Salad was fresh this launch a dressing was exceptional everything was good above par. Much love Chaka man. People who know me know that it was badd I would tell you to your face . Whether you like it or not. However I will tell you what you need to hear not what you want to hear the truth

It's hard to find people happy to work late Sunday night, so the spirit of the service was only an A-/B+ but I love me some El Pollo Loco ethnic theme burritos. It's like a fantastic American melting pot, except for your mouth!

I have not been able to enjoy El pollo loco for decades and now that I was able the flavors are still the same, it was delicious and just to think about it my mouth is watering. If you have a Pollo Loco nearby, don't think twice, it's healthy, is cheap and delicious!

This restaurant is clean and efficient. I work for post mates and so far I have been there twice to pick food up, and they do not pre package it. It is package in front of me hot off the grill straight into the bag and Sealed. I think all restaurants should take a tip

They forget to put in things you ordered a lot, but the food is worth going back for more.

I ordered via the drive-thru. They got my order right and the food was fresh, hot and tasty! My 8piece chicken meal came with rice, beans, warm tortillas, warm churros and a crisp green salad with avocado! Perfect!

Stopped to hit Wendy's, but they weren't allowing inside dining, so we ended up here. BEST DECISION EVER!! The place is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and very well run. The food was FABULOUS, fresh, hot and YUMMY!!!

Great place to stop for a healthy meal on the way from the SF Bay area to Yosemite. Can be a bit troublesome on the way back, because it can be challenging to turn left out their driveway.

I was pleasantly surprised by how fresh and tasty their food is! I had never eaten at an El Pollo Loco before, but now they are my go to! I did remove 1 star because this location messed up my order on 2 different visits. I have a friend who doesn't eat sour cream and asked for his burrito without it, but unfortunately they put it on anyway. So make sure you check your food before driving home!

Manteca El Pollo Loco is super clean, and the staff is always friendly. The food is delicious, I've never had anything that tasted bad or was cold.

I'm a fan of El Pollo Loco. The meat, rice and beans are very tasty and fresh. I don't try all the new items, only due to I cook most of the time, the recent Nachos were really good. Its unfortunate the new items are for a limited time only, so don't delay if you see a new item that looks good.

Healthiest options out of all fast food restaurants in the area. They have plenty of parking, a stocked salsa bar and a 500 calorie and under menu. The food is definitely a higher quality than most fast food but the price is also a little higher. Definitely the place to go after a long day and you don't want to cook dinner but don't want to put down 1,500 calories in one sitting.

I enjoy there food. Not salty KFC chicken, Cooked on grill, varied types, dont sell fries (I think) They have varied sides to choose from. Sort of fast food type place from there. Better than the usual burger and probably healthier too.

I very rarely visit this location but my father was craving some very good soup and this is the spot if you want to warm your spirit and your soul I suggest the soup at any of the El Pollo Loco locations I just wish that they would care for their customers that are inside the facility and not tend to the drive-through first this is just the norm since covid but they were very polite just a little slower helping the inside customers.

Fast and tasty food. I like the side dish selections, some healthy, some comfort food. They allow me (75) to buy a kids meal, which gets me exactly what I want: Two legs, broccoli, two tortillas and a drink. Around $7.

Only visited the drive through, but service was speedy, not much of a wait (given it was 9:30 pm) and the food was good. El Pollo Loco is one of the few fast food joints I'll go to and this one was no better nor worse than any other. The one thing I didn't really like was that the food was not put in a bag... Authentic Mexican grill chicken fast food place. Grill chicken is very tasty. If one is sick of hamburger, this is a good alternative place. Servers are friendly and the place is clean. I didn't use the toilet so I can't say whether it's clean or not but judging from the seating area of the restaurant, I presumed it's also clean.

Tacos El Carbon are the go-to here. Been eating them for years. Such a simple, yet delicious meal. And...its only about $11 for 3 of them with a drink.

This location was good, although I got a pretty simple order which was the 3 street tacos, a drink and chips with guacamole. It made my day and satisfied my craving for tacos. The service was simple, can't say it was fast as the drive thru was pretty busy but nonetheless I only waited about 6 minutes.

I feel like the customer service is hit and miss with this location. The food is usually good though. We just went today and based off today's service I would give it five stars. Seamless ordering. Food was done very fast and it was all fresh, hot, and delicious. Most of our issues have come when we go late at night and when we are trying to use a coupon on the app. That being said the app is really good. I highly suggest everyone to use their app because the rewards add up pretty quickly. They also have a coupon a day on the app. Sometimes you can get chicken tostada bowl for $5 verses $11.

Online said closing was 11pm. Showed up at 940pm and register said they closed at 10 to get us to leave. They had fresh chicken on the grill but all the pieces we had seemed dry and like they'd been sitting out for a while. Overall, the Manteca location always somehow disappoints.

I recently had a rather disappointing experience at polo loco specifically with their prices and missing chicken, I ordered a three piece and received an 2.5.. My wings were just a piece of a wing. Presentation and Appearance** Upon receiving my order, the looked less than appetizing. The chicken was over cooked giving it a dry and uninviting appearance. There was a noticeable absence of flavor which is usually a staple in their yard bird This omission was particularly disappointing, as chicken add that essential tang and crunch that enhances the overall flavor.

Food was good, but service bad. I've been there twice so far and the first time some girl named Victoria was giving additude and being rude, then my second time I went I passed through drive thru and someone named Fabiola didn't even ask if I wanted salsa nor if I wanted to add some dessert.

I like El Pollo Loco, but the girls in the drive thru talk so fast & interrupt so much that you can barely get your order spoken. ..our order is wrong about 75% of the time because they are talking more than listening. Frustrating.

This place was FILTHY today! I mean DIRTY! The kitchen was a mess. There was disorganization everywhere. The soda machines were dripping with slime and dried soda. Ice and other garbage all over the floor (also under the counter). Looked like they just kept filling up the salsa bar bowls without cleaning the surrounding area at all. My table and chair had food residue all over with some smear marks that looked like someone took a dirty towel to them. There was splatter marks of some sort on the wall next to my face as I looked around in shock. Even the trash can area was nasty.... And what made me not overlook all the above was just one thing. When I ordered I said 3 times "NO CILANTRO PLEASE" Did I say that I said that 3 times????? Well my food came with EXTRA CILANTRO!!!!!!!!!! AND I HATE CILANTRO! Ordered delivery through el pollo loco website. Was charged for delivery, postmates never showed up for my delivery. I had to go in store and pick up my food delivery, and was still charged for delivery. My food was cold, poor communication by postmates and el pollo loco.

My family and I were here 2/13/2021 @ 5:05pm. We were served by an associate who was rude and unprofessional. She upset my wife so bad she returned our food. Our burritos were made in error, not sure if it was our mistake or theirs. Nevertheless the associate was clearly upset. Took our food in order to remake, 10 minutes or so goes by. So my wife went to the counter to see what the issue was. We were then told they had no more vegan chicken. So you would think we'd get a refund for the entire meal. But no just the burritos. She wanted to charge us for the chips and soda's. Not good buisness Maria, we were told the managers name was Christina.

Terrible. To start, the cashier had a negative attitude from the beginning. Lady gave us 2 forks for 3 bowls, when I came back to ask for another her attitude escalated saying I needed to ask for them, basically yelled at me. Apparently its not common sence we'll need a fork per bowl. Well, she then gave me 5 forks for 4 pople. My grande avocado bowl was a quarter coleslaw and the little piece of avocado was the hardest I've tried to consume. The almost $5 chips were stale af, the table wobbly. Definitely not coming back. Not to mention there's no way to redeem the points after you've made the purchase yet the cashier won't mention it before payment.

The worst customer service ever. The workers horseplay and talk too much causing the food the either be lukewarm or your order to be incomplete or totally incorrect (if you order at drive thru). I waited 25 minutes for my small order (and I was the only person in drive thru). I had to ask for my condiments 3 times and they even tried to charge me for the 1 dressing that comes with my salad. A few months ago, their telephone was disconnected. Go figure. To add insult to injury they now only give military discount off when you order a dinner. This location needs to be shut down.

Worst customer service ever. Even the Manager was rude. I asked for a $20 12 pc dinner promotion I recieved through my El Pollo Loco app. The girl in the drive through tells me to be prepared to show the promo on my phone. I pull up to the window and show her the $20 promo. She sees that I had also earned $5 credit through previous purchases. She tells me to press the redeem button. I do, she scans the QR code and tells me $27. I said it should be closer to $15?? Manger gets called over and tells me, it is my fault, you can not use 2 coupons in 1 day. I left the drive through and had to forfit my $5 in points.

Never been here and thought I'd give it a try. Ordered one burrito dipper (which almost cost as much as two) but they wouldn't give me the dipping sauce because I only got one. Geez, so stingy. I also got a chicken burrito that was ok but not worth a return visit

Lady at the ordering window asked if I wanted the 5.99 combo, I said yes and I’ll take the shredded beef burrito, she did NOT tell me doubled the price. She charged my card before telling me the final price When I brought this up she was rude and did not believe me when I asked for it to be changed. She also refused to take the partial order back. Do not go here, rude staff, and unclear pricing can make what seems like a 20$ order nearly 40$.

Paid $47 for 3 burritos. Asked for 6 salsas (2 per burrito) and they only gave me 4. This happens all the time at this store. I SPECIFICALLY asked for extra salsa. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. WORST location by far. I’ve been to plenty of El Pollo Locos, and this one has the rudest employees (especially the manager). STOP SKIMPING ON THE SALSAS. I’d rather pay more somewhere else than deal with this place ever again.
