The food was fantastic, and the service was outstanding. We had some cocktails. I ordered the Amalfi spritz, and my husband ordered the Tesoro. Both were very good, but I loved his drink. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary. The food was also excellent. The sunset view from there is perfect. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and they brought a complimentary dessert, which we chose to be the tiramisu. The dessert was average, and I almost missed the congratulations on our dessert. They can do better. In general, we had a fantastic time, and I recommend it, especially during sunset.

Made a last minute reservation and got a great table for sunset! Drinks were great and had an amazing bottle of bubbles. We were really surprised by how good the spaghetti and meatballs were. We also liked the focaccia bread. Service was good too and there was great DJ (Friday 5/2) with perfect music volume (even though we were right next to speakers).

Came for dessert, so I can't speak to any of the other food. Our server was great, professional, and very friendly. I had the cheesecake, and she had the Praline. Both were delicious and beautifully presented in a sort of deconstructed style with edible gold accents. Would recommend.

An Unforgettable Birthday Celebration at Tesoro We recently celebrated my wife Marite’s birthday at Tesoro at the JW Marriott in Marco Island, and it was truly unforgettable thanks to Kai and the amazing staff. Kai was incredibly courteous, kind, generous, and professional, making us feel so special from the moment we arrived. His genuine care and attention turned our evening into a unique and memorable experience. The food was exceptional, and we were honored when the chef came out personally so we could share our compliments. Thanks to Kai and the entire team, my wife’s birthday was perfect. We highly recommend Tesoro to anyone visiting Marco Island — you will not be disappointed!

Best sunsets on Marco Island…and the food and staff is amazing as well. Ask for Giovanni- he takes the BEST care of every detail during dinner. Order the STEAK- best steak we had while on the island. And enjoy cocktails on the rooftop for the most amazing sunsets that light up the entire sky.

Best view of the ocean and beach. It's for 21 and older only. The mushrooms and tomato Flatbread were delicious. Drinks well made. Pricey, but not unexpected. Definitely worth a try.

I sat for a drink and lunch, with no idea what to get, Paula kindly recommended the best options. I am beyond pleased with her service, it was truly exceptional.

My boyfriend and I wanted to have a quiet romantic evening without children running around. This place was just that. We sat overlooking the ocean and just took our time. Or server Robert gave us many suggestions and tips on what to order. He also spaced out or meals so he timed it perfectly. I devoured my fresh salmon over couscous and a Parmesan foam (wow). I didn’t even know that was a thing. Exciting!! To start I had an arugula salad with beets and fresh sliced green apples and pistachios on top, also had fresh goat cheese. From start to finish the experience was Devine. We loved everything from the ambience but the food and service from Robert was phenomenal. Thank you for such great staff and the chef. Also I would highly recommend this to EVERYONE. Robert was so kind and professional. Tesoro is very lucky to have him. Thanks again. It was outstanding.

Was visiting with my family and wanted to take some time to relax and the view from Tesoro at the top of Marriott. Well my time to myself was more than accomplished. Robert my server went about and beyond with drinks and apps and dinner and the Tiramisu with gold flakes on top. He made me feel like royalty. Robert took the best care of me. From the healthy dishes I had. I felt why not have dessert. Thank you for the top notch service Robert! The Marriott is lucky to have you on their team!!!! I'll be back and request for Robert!

Robert our server was top notch. Kai the manager has an incredible knack for hospitality. The food presentation was decadent, the quality delicious - the atmosphere is perfect. We had a sunset view and will definitely return due to the service and quality of food.

We had a wonderful experience at Tesoro! The ambiance was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the service truly stood out. A special shoutout to Kai, the manager, who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. He personally helped move tables around for our group and was incredibly accommodating and kind throughout the evening. Highly recommend!

Just want to say that Sherri was an absolute joy to have as our waitress tonight. Sherri was very attentive, patient and kind.

My husband and I do our best to stop at Tesoro each time we visit Marco Island. We love the atmosphere, the food is yummy and their wonderful server, Robert, is always the best! We highly recommend stopping in (ask for Robert) and enjoy some tapas & a beverage while watching the beautiful sunset!!

Beautiful location and watched the sunset over the Gulf during dinner. Food was great and Sherri, our server, was amazing. She knew the menu and had great suggestions and helped make the evening really special

My wife and I spent our honeymoon at the JW this October. I'm not normally one to write reviews but the service we received was so exceptional that I felt compelled to share my experience at Tesoro and in the Friends of Sirene tower. Our first night at the resort we had dinner at Tesoro and had the pleasure of David as our waiter. He was polite, attentive, personable and brought energy to the experience. David was on top of everything before we even knew we needed it. Thank you again David! We spent the rest of the week by the Sirene tower pool (same level as Tesoro) with Tony as our server/bartender. Tony was one of the best servers we have ever had. He was single handedly serving the entire pool area (40+ people at a time) but made it feel like we were the only ones there. His attentiveness, personality and service really made the experience. He also makes the most creative and delicious drinks you can imagine. Somebody get these guys a raise!

Lili the bartender provided excellent service that was so genuine and not stuffy. Brussels sprouts were 10/10 view is 10/10. Also, one of the few places I’ve been in Marco island that wasn’t completely geriatrics.

Breathtaking views of the water, we could see a fire dancer on the beach from our table. We enjoyed sitting by the fire after sunset. The food was... ok. Let's face it, you're not going there for the food.

My wife and I went with another couple for drinks, dinner, and the view. The view was fantastic, the drinks seemed weak (especially when you consider the price) and we didn't find anything on the menu that we wanted for dinner so we had appetizers, which were very good.

Excellent bar for evening drinks or snacks with incredible views of the beach and ocean looking west. Prices are a bit high, but expected for the location.

Beautiful rooftop bar with a view. Service was a bit slow at the bar and I opened a tab and walked away front the bar and after the drink came back to the bar to close out and they bartender said they couldn’t find me (we sat down at a table 20 feet away) and already closed my tab (it was the end of the night) and popped a 20% tip on top. Seemed a bit weird and I would have tipped 20% anyway, but it was just an odd way to end the night. VictorB

5 star for atmosphere because the views truly do make this place worth it. Only giving 4 stars cause it is a little pricey since it’s in a resort, and the service is typically a little slower. But I have continued to return here several times because of how beautiful it is! Once you get past the prices, the food is very delicious. And an excellent espresso martini!

This review is in several parts: Food: I had the Grouper sandwich. It was just ok, not noteworthy. I've had better. The fries, on the other hand, were outstanding. They are thin cut and were perfectly fried and seasoned. I found them mildly addictive! Service: The waitress did a good job, meeting our needs in a timely manner. Our food arrived in a reasonable time after order. Atmosphere: The view of the Gulf is great!

Excellent sunset views. Reserve at least 2 weeks in advance. Follow up with call. Valet parking is free with validation from restaurant. Can go during happy hour or later, but taking a chance. The food is good. Try the pizza. If you sit at a high top or bar the food service may be very slow.

Food is pretty good but you pay for the elevated waterfront / sunset view.

Food was good but disappointed with the menu selection compared to the rest of the restaurants we visited. Service was not the best. We had reservations but only had high bar tops available for us. Server was nowhere to be found and we had to eventually ask the bartender to close out our check. The view is gorgeous and was the best part of our experience.

I recently visited Tesoro at the JW Marriott @ Marco Island on August 17th, 2024, and while the experience had some highlights, it also had some significant drawbacks. First, the positives: 🌅 The Sunset View was absolutely stunning, providing a picturesque backdrop to our evening. The Drinks were well-crafted and enjoyable, and the Service was attentive and friendly, which made us feel welcomed. However, the experience fell short in a couple of key areas. The Mediterranean-style food was underwhelming, with only a few options on the menu, and unfortunately, not the best selections. We started with the Mezze Board and the Cured and Crude Board Shareable, and while they were presented nicely, the taste didn't impress us. After trying the Mezze, we decided not to stay for dinner, which was disappointing for a place of this caliber. Another major downside was the Valet cost—$48 without validation and $28 with validation from the restaurant. This felt excessive, especially considering the lack of clear directions for self-parking. It added an unnecessary strain to what could have been a more enjoyable evening. As a Titanium Member of Marriott, I’ve visited many Bonvoy hotels, and while Tesoro has its charms, I can’t say it’s worth the visit given the overall experience. 3 stars—one each for the Sunset View, Drinks, and Service. Unfortunately, the food and valet issues mean we likely won’t be returning, since there are many options in the area for good drinks and great sunset views!

We visited for our anniversary. We booked a table inside, but arrived early to find a table we preferred outside instead. The outdoor area is furnished nicely. The views of the beach and gulf are excellent. We had two nice cocktails to start: the blood orange margarita and a G&T. Both were great. Our waitress was very nice and available to us when we needed her. We weren’t impressed by the options for the main dishes on the menu and decided to order various tapas and a salad. The portion sizes here are all over the map. For the olives, the portion size was huge. For the croquetas de jamon (best thing we had), the portion size was tiny. The chorizo dish was also huge and really kind of weird — huge chunks of chorizo with red peppers in an oil likely cooked out of the chorizo. It was good but rich, and we could only eat a few pieces each. Photo included was taken after we had eaten what we could. The burrata salad was what I would consider a normal size and was acceptable. We made an attempt to order a bottle of champagne. We chose the Ruinart Blanc de Blanc. Our waitress came back to say they were looking for it because they “keep the expensive bottles in another place.” That raised a tiny alarm bell, but we waited to hear more. Eventually, someone else came over with a different option that they had leftover in the back because it had been on a previous menu. We initially agreed to have it, but were not happy with being presented with a cheaper option and one with a huge markup. We asked to have it taken away, passed on choosing another, and went down to the beach area for cocktails before going home. I’ve heard more positive reviews of lunch here, but not sure I would make an effort for that unless I was in the area. Overall, a great setting but a mediocre dining experience.

The drinks were good, the service above average, and the view was divine, but the food was shockingly bad and so over priced. I ordered Moroccan chicken. Room temperature, flavorless, fatty chicken with one sliced olive. Barely edible. My husband had a Greek salad with chicken. It wasn’t enough food for a child, and he eats salads for most meals.

Ambiance was great. Rooftop restaurant with a great view of the beach and sunset. Service was good too, we celebrated my husbands birthday and they gave us a free dessert. The food was pretty average and overpriced in my opinion. We are vegetarian, options are limited and modifications had to be made. We ordered truffle smashed potatoes which didn't have much truffle taste. Typically smashed potatoes have a crunchy texture to them, these seemed like they were just boiled and weren't baked or fried to get that crispy texture you look for with smashed potatoes. We also got the house green salad, honestly tasted like a salad you get in a bag from a grocery store. Cheese pizza was good but overpriced. The tiramisu tasted like it had been sitting around for days, texture was really soggy. Service and ambiance would be the main reason I ever go back to Tesoro. The views were great!

We dinned here for the best view on our anniversary. We deliberately showed up early to have the best table for 2, so we thought. We sat at the corner for the perfect sunset and then realized everyone continued to stand in front of us to take pictures blocking our view. Our server was very nice, and we tried to enjoy our romantic dinner as the sun went down, but I was disappointed. We eventually moved our table closer to the glass wall ourselves. It's incredible how rude people can be. We enjoyed the drinks & appetizers. For dinner, we had the fettuccine, which came out cold, dry, and overwhelming with lemon zest. They took it back and did not make a new dish. I can only assume it was microwaved. I was never offered fresh cheese or pepper!!! I asked for pepper. A McCain pepper mill with almost no peppcorns in it was placed on the table. For dessert, we ordered creme brulee, which was not freshly made. Honestly, they say you get what you pay for, but dinner was far from excellent, peaceful, or romantic. It's all about who you're with that makes this experience worth wild.

Concierge, 3 weeks earlier, made a reservation outside for us at 7 so we could enjoy the sunset. When we arrived, they could not honor the reservation as the people who were at the table, were not getting up.??? They said it's just the restaurant business.... We took a table inside. The food was average, the one waiter indoors, had the whole dining room...needless to say nothing met our expectations. We won't go to Tesoro again. For a JW Mariott restaurant, it did not represent the brand, or maybe it does. At the least honor a reservation.

The atmosphere was great. The food was ok, did not feel that the price made it taste any better. Would have been 4 star but service was not good the night we went. Sat with empty plates for 20+ min before we could get the waitress over then just finally asked for the check Probably will not go again, not worth the view / atmosphere for the price paid.

Previously frozen fish & cold steak! Would not reccomend or eat here again. The fried Snapper was watery & dry inside. The crisp and flavor of outside was good. The Australian strip was ordered Medium-Rare, it was served Medium and cold. The server offered to have it reheated. We stayed at the resort 7 days and breakfast was included every morning at Sirene. We did not return after the first day. Very limited offerings, no menu available. The breakfast offerings included scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, Smoked Salmon, and pastries.

We ordered a dessert that cost $12 and was about 4-5 bites. Far too tiny and not that good tasting. We sat at the bar and the lighting made the food look an unappealing gray color. Overall not worth the money at all.

Tesoro feels very much like what it is: a resort restaurant charging resort prices. The food is fine, but nothing really rises above average. The grouper sandwich was well-cooked, and enjoyable while the Calabrese pizza was far less memorable. It’s an easy, convenient option if you’re already on property, but not a place I’d go out of my way for or rush back to.

I reserved a table for TWO on our anniversary and even stated that we were celebrating that. I requested a specific patio table in my original reservation so we can watch the sunset.. I placed the reservation with well over a month in advance. We got seated at a table for four in the back with uncomfortable cold, wobbly chairs. The table was so wobbly my drink almost spilled everywhere. The restaurant is so expensive for poor service. Disappointed to say the least. Might I add, They were not even busy this night!! I had high hopes. Next time I’ll stick to DaVinci’s they sure know how to treat their customers with top notch service.

This place is like 2 bad restaurants in a trench coat pretending to be a mid restaurant. Service was bad, with two bartenders in total for both the inside and outside bars. Both seemed to be overworked. Two managers walked around in suits and inspected some dusty glassware. I had to point out to them that the bar chair they tried to give me was catastrophically broken and needed to be taken out of service. The visible, jagged metal edges could seriously maim someone. Our drinks were ok. $18 cocktails so a more expensive place in town. We ordered the tuna crudo and it took a long time to arrive, and was dropped in front of us with no silverware or napkins, and it took us at least another 5 minutes to flag someone down to supply us with some. The appetizer looked like an elementary school art project and tasted like the raw tuna has sat out all day. They had a DJ on the roof and the weather was perfect so we were in good spirits regardless. Ultimately, there are much better options in town. We left and had a great time at Salty Dogs, for example.

Beautiful spot. Although service at the bar was disappointing. Very slow. It was worth it. The biggest problem was we ordered non alcohol prosecco from the menu for my pregnant wife, and they gave us one with alcohol . We noticed when the check came, too late. Bartenders shouldn't mess up like that. And we are 7 months pregnant it's king of obvious even if he didn't hear us. So for that one star. Otherwise it would have been 4.
