We had a magical night here last night, eating a truly wonderful dinner while listening to Carlos Reyes playing his harp, violin and guitar. Our server, Cheyenne, was delightful. Cannot thank everyone enough for a memorable (in a good way) evening.

LOVE the musicians being right in Main street with all access to cars blocked off... At least a dozen tables are placed in the street for diners and many non diners also congregate to listen to the music. Roxx has very good musicians play in front of their restaurant on Fri & Sat's.. or it may just be Sat's... it's wonderful! Their food is also excellent and whether a sandwich, a chef salad or a full entree, I've enjoyed everything I've ordered so far. LOVE the fact that many ingredients are organically sourced and many meats are grass fed or organic. GREAT JOB Roxx!

Nice intimate restaurant in the heart of downtown Martinez. Good wine list. Lots of great Italian centered food, appetizers, deserts. Full bar. We will come back again. Walked in on a Tuesday, but reservations might be necessary later in the week and on weekends.

Showed up Friday night and they were full. We didn’t have a reservation so we started to walk down the street only to have Rita, a server from Roxx, follow us to tell us a party didn’t show and she had a table. Way to go the extra mile! Food was amazing, we had the salmon and pork chop entrees, salads and cocktails. Sat outside and listened to the band they had playing. Great food, drinks and ambiance! I hope they continue the outdoor dining and live music. Definitely a gem in Martinez.

Had dinner here with hubby. Definitely recommend reservations because this place gets booked and crowded. Especially when there is a live band playing. The food is delicious American fare with specials. They have an extensive selection of craft cocktails! We started with drinks and the Italian charcuterie starter, steak dinner, and s"mores sundae for dessert. The menu clearly states no gluten-free options or substitutes. However, they do have vegetarian dishes to choose from and wonderful salads. "Farm to fork and locally sourced whenever possible " Inside it can get crowded. They have bar seating and a Hightop counter area along the side wall. It will get noisy, especially if the band plays inside. A fun vibrant atmosphere! The service was especially good. Cheyenne was our server for the evening. Parking can be tricky because on the weekends there is a good amount of nightlife in downtown Martinez and it's mostly street parking. We made our reservation 2 months in advance via email. Mostly because of the band we wanted to hear that evening "Jinx Jones" It seems like this establishment has their regular clientele that dine there. This restaurant came highly recommended we will be back!

Every single thing we had wad amazing. Adult Beverages were fantastic too. Oh and that Ukrainian desert was out of this world! Good music and good vibes!

This is a great restaurant. The food is fresh and tasty, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is inviting. A very nice experience.

Pretty beautiful place , excellent service and amazing drinks ! definitely coming back before I return to the east coast. I really enjoy the chocolate and baileys martini and the Contrary Mary.

Saw this place on Check Please! and wanted to try it, so I suggest lunch here for a friend's bday. I'm glad to say that everything was excellent, from the food to the service. I called to make reservations for lunch and sat outside. It was a little hot that day but our waitress, (Leah I believe was her name), made sure the umbrella was covering us the whole time, adjusting it as needed. We ordered cocktails and my peach mule was on point! For food, I had the burger which was one of the better burgers I've had in a while and well worth the $19 price tag. My wife had the chicken pasta special which she said she really good. Overall, we had a really nice time here and look forward to trying them again for dinner sometime!

Best food, bread is amazing. Had chicken salad, cuz had the special shrimp in lemon sauce with linguine Gotta get pomegranate lime martinis! Ate outside, was very pleasant m recommend reservations!

I really enjoy a beautifully cooked piece of salmon, which is not easy to come by. Quite often when I order seafood out at a restaurant it is overcooked. I can guarantee when I go to Roxx on Main. My salmon is perfection. Moist tender and juicy like it should be. I do enjoy her menu, which is very versatile.

I got a steak sandwich and it was so delicious. The beef was soft and tender. The bread was fresh and perfectly toasted. The side salad was fresh and even their vignette balsamic dressing was outstanding. My husband got a chicken sandwich and it was excellent, too. We'd definitely come back.

Eat here. Order anything. You will be satisfied. This is the ONLY place in Martinez that I will take my clients to eat...and then they start going on their own (and they tell me, which makes me jealous). Overall: Fantastic!

Great service. My mom had a chicken dish. The chicken melted in your mouth, her friend had a chicken sandwich which looked really good. The forcica bread was AWESOME. I had the chicken meatball sandwich and they even did the special request I had. Sorry I did not catch the name of our server but she was great. Food was good and so was the company.

Food is phenomenal and made with all fresh and organic ingredients. The drinks are beautifully crafted and oh-so delicious! Our waitress was funny and professional at the same time. The price is more elevated, but it's what I would expect from the high quality of the ingredients! Added to my lunch rotation for sure

So first of all it was my birthday. I was wanting something different from eating out. I live in the east bay area, I wanted to go somewhere small and quiant, this popped up when I was looking in downtown Martinez, I have been here but never stopped to eat. My birthday was the time to explore and try some great food. When I arrived to the area the parking during the week was easy. When we arrived we choose what ever seat to sit which was right up front so we could see the street and the passing pedestrias. It was like our own little nook. We started with drinks and I had to try the rox a rita with the help of our waitress Ryan which she was a very sweet and amazing hostess as well. The drink was smokey,delicious and the fruit was fresh and really stood out in the drink. The appetizers where polenta and a cheese platter. The polenta was delicious but that fried cheese was spectacular( we love our cheeses). The cheese platter was eye pleasing and tantalizing to the eyes. There were blue cheese and some local cheeses that were very delicate to taste. When the waitress told us about the special, the crab melt was mouth watering to the description she gave us. The other main dish was a veggie burger which was definitely not like other places. The crab melt tasted fresh and the side salad was perfect, simple and delicious both complimenting each other very well. The veggie burger was soft but the spices that were used in the dish with some fried tatter tots was perfectly paired ( beautifully crunchy) they we equally fulfilling. We talked so much because it just feel so easy the whole time. Nice and calm and simple. I could feel the sophisticated touches throughout the restaurant but it wasn't to much. I was also told that the weekends they have live music and you can really enjoy a meal with entertainment. The bartender I almost forgot but how could I, her cocktails really were great and I could go back for many more just to see how she mixes these potions that fill your mouth with a surprise like no other bartender has done before ( I have been to many restaurants throughout the bay). The bartender said she has been a bartender for years and it shows. I feel like I might be going far with this description but I can't leave out the details because it was a special evening and they made it great and wonderful. By the time we left the restaurant we said goodbye to the chef, her crew and I had told her whatever you are doing right now its working very well together, it's amazing I couldn't believe the way all the things I have eaten made my mouth dance with happiness. I haven't felt in a long time like this and it was magical...... you need to come if you are looking for something like this!!!!

ROXX is the most consistent producer of high quality food in Martinez. They do a great job of everything they cook. It is and will continue to be our local go to restaurants when we need good food. Try the Chinese chicken salad and the Crab melt. Both consistent and excellent

Great service and wonderful servers with great attitude. I had the grilled flat iron steak with mushrooms, greens, and potato gratin cooked medium and I highly recommend it! The steak was real tender and goes well with the potatoes and vegetables.

We had a nice experience with family here. we do wish they had more options that were vegan. They were able to do a burger and modify a salad.

Food was tasty although a little on the higher end for the menu selections available. Service was excellent, the only issue was that since it's such a small dining area it gets very loud. We had a larger party and it was difficult to hear from one end of the table to the other with all the background noise. I will say some of the noise was from the live music which was unexpected but quite good. They weren't overly loud, but I think it contributed to everyone else talking at a much higher volume.

We had a 5:30pm reservation. We had not been served by 6:30 pm. Food was good. However, they only had 6 dinner entrees. They could have used more wait staff. It was very noisy, and then live musical entertainment began.
