Popped in on a whim to feed my contractors. We had different items including a carne asada burrito, a grilled chicken burrito, a torta and some tacos. It was all delicious. Bonus points for the pan dulce for a sweet treat after your meal. I really enjoyed the mom and pop family atmosphere and look forward to returning next time I’m in Martinez and craving Mexican.

Great little taqueria and meat market. I'm impressed with how great their food is. Blown away by the Birria Ramen and the Quesabirria tacos. Been going to this place for over 10 years and it's my favorite little Mexican gem. Really nice people working here too.

I have been me than a few times and they have great service. Attentive, courteous, and I got to say I haven't been disappointed with any of the dishes there. A couple of time, they even had live music. I don't have anything bad to say. What can I say... it's one of those a whole on the wall places that you get more than you expect. 👍👍

I was raised in a restaurant family by chefs and what I like about this place is they have old world charm, they still treat you like it's the 70s and they have a great salsa and bean dip to start you off. I highly recommend this eating establishment if you're looking for a positive and delicious traditional restaurant experience.

First time visiting this local shop. They are a combination restaurant, mini grocery and meat counter. I tried the Quesabirria Tacos and an Agua Fresca (lemonade & cucumber). The tacos were good, the consume could have had more spice for my taste, but it was good. The prices are reasonable and they have both indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is limited.

I spent less than $30 to get a beer, a Gatorade, a plate of nachos, and a crispy taco. This filled my daughter and I both up. Food was amazing and staff was nice. Loved sitting outside, we will be back!

The quesabirria here is always delicious and my husband enjoys their burritos. We’ve only ever done takeout. Recently quesabirria tacos changed from 2 tacos for $5.75 to 1 taco for 5.75 (unless my last order was messed up 🤷🏻‍♀️) which seems a bit high for 1 taco. Comes with a large portion of birria to dip and is 5/5 on flavor.

I like that they have parking spaces up front. Friendly service, good food and location is not too far from the Freeway exit close to the Martinez Refinery. Please note that the prices posted online is not up to date.

I came in @ 8:35 and was ordering dinner by myself . Not with a large party . I ordered pozole which is already made and 1 taco and felt very unwelcomed when asked about dining in because the gentleman at the register must have been in a hurry to close . Head made sure to remind me that they closed in 20 min and all food would be prepared to go but I could sit if I wanted. Who says that? When he told the cooks my order he told them it was “to go” assuming I didn’t speak Spanish. When I asked him why he told them that when I asked to dine in he said they closed on 18 min. lol. I haven’t even been given my food yet . At this point it doesn’t matter what my food taste like.

They left the carne asada off of my girlfriend’s carne asada nachos. None of us could enjoy our food since she wasn’t happy. The carnitas are only fair and I prefer street tacos that are fried a bit more. Very frustrating
