Five Stars again to all my friends at Massapequa Friendly's I order from this Friendly's every weekend for my family. Erica and Wade do an Amazing Job. This Friendly’s location is fantastic ! The staff is always friendly and helpful . My kids love celebrating special events here. If your looking for a good catering spot for a bday party, Erika goes above and beyond . She takes such good care of the customer, she is amazing! We keep coming back !

We’ve come here a few times with our toddler and always have a great experience. Laura L has happened to be our server every time and she always provides excellent service and is great with kids and very patient.

This is the 2nd (different) Friendly's I've been to in the past month. Food was great here also. Friendly's hasn't been on the radar lately. I ordered dinner to go. The restaurant was pretty busy with mostly a young crowd. Staff was upbeat and friendly. Definitely going back. Went back for pick up orders.... check your bag before you leave...75% accuracy rate so far.

Food is great. I had a bacon cheeseburger with loaded waffle fries. Forgot to take pics I was too hungry. The burger was well done but juicy. My server Steven was the best. Steven was on point with making sure we had refills, napkins without us asking. He also made me a strawberry banana fribble that left me wanting more.

We’ve been ordering Friendly’s beyond often. I broke my foot so cooking meals has been a challenge. We have been getting our food hot & Delicious 😋 We have had a possible mistake or forgotten item but it’s Always correctly quickly. We’ve used their delivery & the service is excellent. Quick & Hot. I hadn’t been there for a couple of years. Great energy in the place. Luís waited on us. He’s an old school, absolute gentleman. The food and ice cream were great. Very busy on a Thursday night but we were seated quickly and the food came out in reasonable time. A lot of young people work in the place but the flow is still under great control.

Stopped by Friendlys for some ice cream and some food and was greeted by wade who was polite very friendly and very professional. The location was open and had a great atmosphere and was very clean. The employees are very professional and friendly. Every employee was seen cleaning up even if it was clean and talking yo customers as it felt like you were with friends or family thats the great part of coming here. Sara was very nice and so was Gigi . Great location great service and great food. Go for breakfast lunch dinner or just icecream.

The food was great! Service was great! The atmosphere was great! I think this place is great for getting food and then ice cream. They have a joke pledge that says that you will save room for ice cream. Overall, I would say that the staff will normally help you out. Funny fact: one day we can here, the cigar disposal was smoking, one of the staff went out with water and poured it on the disposal. Kids menu has options for little kidsan bigger kids. Adult menu has options for adults and teens. Overall this is my review.

I ordered on line and picked up 4 sundaes. It was buy one get one free. They were delicious!!! It was super easy to order on line and the ice cream was ready at the time they said it would be so when we got home it hadn’t melted much. Excellent!!

Hadn’t been in quite a while bc it was lacking in food and service. Went today and omgggg! The food was so good! They’ve truly upped their game!! Steven, our waiter was perfect too! Prompt, efficient and checking on us many times! We were a group of 6 and one child and we were all extremely impressed! We will be back! Friendly’s is back!!!

We had a great time at Friendly’s in Massapequa Park. The food and service was great. Our waiter, Will Hartman found my wallet which contained a lot of money and credit cards. It was untouched!! Manager Kim Reyes and Will Hartman were going to go the extra mile and actually deliver it to my house! Friendlys is lucky to have such good employees. Hopefully they can be rewarded for their honesty and professionalism in some way. I greatly appreciate what they did and thank them.

I was sat at a table and my waitress who I believe goes by Victoria was phenomenal. My food was phenomenal and I got a wattamelon.

This was my first and last time coming to this Friendly’s’ establishment when I came inside no one greeted me because I was alone black female I just came from the hospital visiting my niece she had a seizure at school. I was hungry I needed something to eat. I was waiting about 15 minutes to be noticed greeted but that didn’t happen. So I had to tell the young lady by the ice cream bar that I haven’t been sat down no one came to serve me this is sad I thought that this was going to be a great experience but it turned out to be thee opposite. I like the friendly’s in Florida better at least they acknowledge humans of color. Never again and when I ask to order for take out I said no pickles the pickles were on the chicken sandwich and the ice cream taste old and stale. Never again this is what I get for eating out during an emergency situation. I will start eating healthier again.

Laura was the best waitress we've ever had! We were there with the kids and because of her amazing job, were given all of our food in a timely manner without a single mistake. She's also sweet as sugar! In today's day and age when telling people something nice is replaced with using reviews as a way to bash others, I wanted to take the time to praise someone for her hard work and dedication! She wasn't only efficient, but she was kind and patient waiting on a table with many different personalities and ages ranging from 4yrs-49yrs!

As soon as we arrive, we were seated. The menu looks fabulous full of all kinds of choices for ice cream. Food was amazing. I ordered salad and a soup due to the fact that I was on a diet so it was nice to see that they had something for people who are dieting as well. The environment was very nice and calm even though the family restaurant they keep it very nice and clean. Restrooms were also clean.

What fun! Went to Friendly's on Labor Day, and our server Megan took great care of us. She totally indulged my inner child who has fond memories of going to Friendly's as a kid when visiting Long Island. The Shark Water soda was unavailable... so i was kindly offered a Worm Water instead! The food was delicious.. I had the honey BBQ chicken with yummy coleslaw, and my friend had the captain's platter, which I sampled! Shoutout to Bri who kindly stopped to answer a quick question I had as I was trying to make up my mind about dessert. I went with the mini cones for dessert - just a perfect amount of ice cream 🍦 and refreshingly tasty (and my friend couldn't resist sampling either 😋) The only thing missing was the watermelon 🍉 sherbert cake from my childhood; hopefully I will find it again one of these days!

My husband and I just left Friendly's and had such a good time! Our server Jenn was great, very attentive and even gave a suggestion on my ice cream no one had ever offered before, and I can't wait to try it! We loved our food (who doesn't like a classic grilled cheese?!) and it came out faster than we expected. I had my favorite menu item, the Fishamajig Sandwich, my wife had the Bacon Cheeseburger Platter while my mom had the Clam Chowder/ BLT soup and 1/2 Sandwich special. After eating at another Friendly's location, I thought I was done with this restaurant chain. This location was so much better. The service was faster, the restaurant itself was nicer to sit in and the food was good. Definitely don't come here if you're looking to eat healthy, but if you want fried food and delicious ice cream this is the place to go.

The Mac and cheese was great, and the host seated us right away. Excellent ice cream as always!

Aside from being like 60 degrees inside, our experience was pretty good. Our waitress was awesome and the food was good for the price paid. Definitely not a gourmet experience, but a great place for a family with kids to stop in and eat.

I received an order with the ice cream placed sideways in the bag, and some of it spilled!! On top of that the courier pressed the thumbs up on my phone claiming it was a good delivery. I think there needs to be more consideration given to customers in order for the couriers to be more respectful, and not take their jobs for granted.

Cod sandwich good. I really notice how much less waffle fries you get now over the recent years. I've gotten other meals with fries in general and it's smaller portions.

Food was good. I got a chicken sandwich and my girlfriend got chicken tenders. We both of us got ice cream which is always good. The service was beyond terrible. The waitress almost never checked on us. While the restaurant did appear busy, it would have been nice to have had her check on us other than to drop off the food, ice cream and check.

I ordered to go for 8 plus deserts and a coffee fribble, which i needed after a long hospital shift. I ask the guy at the counter, are you sure all the orders are in the bags, he said "yes." Drove home, the fribble fell, and 1 person did not get their order. I drove back, asked the same guy what happened? He said "I don't pack, I don't know!" And walked away, refused to help. I said nothing about the fribble only the missing meal when the next person came to my 3 minutes later. Too bad, I really love friendlys. Great memories there before these uncaring, younger staff.

Friendly's is pretty consistent. If you have been there before, you know the experience. This particular time we had a great server. She was wonderful. Your waitress makes a difference in your experience. Her smile actually made the food taste better. We didn't get anything fancy. In order of grilled cheese and French fries and I had a fishanajig and french fries. She told me she was going to give me a senior order so I can get a free happy ending sunday. My order was the same size as the kids meal on the table. Very small sandwich and a small order of fries. I'm not complaining because I need to cut down fried food anyhow. It just wasn't what I expected. I know, I'm probably the only one that order is fish from a place like this. I do not eat red meat. Be aware there's not a lot of choices if you don't eat or chicken. Speaking of chicken, I was two chicken to try the tuna 🤣

Got ice cream to bring home for myself and husband. Ordered a sundae and they were out of a lot of candy toppings. Each time they said they were out of something I replaced it with another topping which they were also out of. To add to it, we ordered large sundaes and they were skimpy on the ice cream and they were expensive. Also, waited a long time for them to make the sundaes, meanwhile they weren’t that busy. I think they forgot about my order as well as the person after me. Seems like no one knew what they were doing in this location, needs better management.

I am posting this review upon request from the owner: After ordering, we waited over an hour for our food to arrive, and our drinks arrived just before the food did. We weren't even served waters. We had 5 and 10 year olds in our party who just wanted waters and kept asking for them. We even had people in our party of 3 tables who didn't receive part of their orders right up until the end of our visit so they decided to cancel them all together. We asked for napkins but my brother had to grab napkins from the waiting station. And worst of all, our waitress had an attitude.I seldom ever give 3 stars let alone 2, but this was just awful service.

I really love friendly’s but this visit was particularly bad, though I can’t say this is the first time I’ve had these issues at this location. We were seated promptly, which we appreciated, but right offf the bat it took us around 15 minutes to get asked our drink orders. We then placed our food orders as well, and were informed that they were out of the fishamajig and the Mac n cheese. Okay, fine, things happen. Three people in our party ordered sides of mashed potatoes, one of us ordered fried pickles, and one of us ordered 6 wings. It took about 30 minutes to come out, and when it did we were missing the aforementioned foods and were reassured it would just take a minute. The rest of our food didn’t come out until we had finished our entrees and waited an additional 10 minutes. Our entrees were very tasty. The buffalo wings we’d waited for were ice cold, and the fried pickles were doughy. We then ordered ice cream, which took about 20 more minutes, and one of the ice creams we ordered was forgotten. I had to go up to the counter to tell them about the missing ice cream, because our waitress was busy with other customers. Our waitress was very kind and doing the best she could, they just seemed to be understaffed. We were there close to two hours. We probably won’t be back for awhile.

My family and I waited over 20 minutes for someone to even acknowledge us. NO ONE came to our table to take our orders or even ask us if we wanted anything to drink!! There’s 4 people working the ice cream bar!!! With no customers!!! This place wasn’t even crowded. employees wearing bunny ears and just walking around in circles!!( making easy money)not servicing the customers and other employee dropping fries!!! No eye contact what so Eva and the people who came in after us where being service…We walk out!!! this place need better employees and definitely more training because it’s clear to see they have no idea what there duties are!!!!

Horrible FOOD !!!! Bad service !!!! I was there for Halloween and the food was terrible I was a family of 6 my kids had burgers that tasted weird... I had turkey dinner... mash potatoes and corn tasted of refrigerator..no gravy my turkey and stuffing was was dry as hell.. my 3yr old didn't get her food until all the other foods were out..an she still had to wait...we had cone sundaes and the cones still had the wrapper stuck to it.. my reese sundae was missing the reese.. the waiter noticed when she brought it to the table but didn't bring it to me until she brought the bill.....I'm not one to complain so I payed an left... 75% of our food went to waste cuze we didn't eat it... WHAT A SHAME !!!! We will never go back to this location!!!!!

The question is WHO is managing this friendly??? I’m highly disappointed and disgusted on how FILTY it was. I honestly pray not to get sick after eating. Not sure where to start. The water had a funny strong taste to it. I honestly went back to my car and got my water bottle. There was garbage and some white milky liquid spilled on the carpet. My sons water had a greasy white residue on his cup as if it wasn’t cleaned correctly. The place looks abandoned. Never had I been to a friendly this RUN DOWN. The smell of old dirty carpet was a shame. Me and my family were tired of fighting off fruit flies. It was just something out of a movie. My burger was good but some of the waffle fries tasted fresh and the others didn’t. NEVER AGAIN!!! At lest to this location. Sad part is that with a family of 4 we spent about $80.

Food and service was awful! Very disappointing for my son’s birthday dinner. We go every year as he loves friendlys. We will not be returning anymore. Food took 1 hr and a half to come out. Other tables ate and left and we still didn’t have food. When it came out it was wrong and under cooked. Took another 20 mins to get correct food. We got there at 6 and didn’t leave till 8:40. Manager was told and didn’t seem to care we would see the waiter and manger laugh and look at us. And they had the nerve to still charge the full bill. $253 worth of food a complete waste of money. My son was very upset and disappointed couldn’t wait to show his family from out of state friendlys and he was let down. Time to find another place to go and celebrate birthdays. And occasional weekend dinner treats. This was the location in massapequa on sunrise hwy.

Really disappointing to walk into this place for the first time since my Farmingdale location closed awhile ago. My son requested to have his birthday dinner here and I had to apologize to him as we left. We walked in at 9pm and the young girl standing 10 feet away behind the ice cream counter looked at us and went right back to staring at her cellphone. Not even a greeting or a mention that someone would be there to seat us shortly. The restaurant was empty except for a few tables btw. We waited five minutes until a young man behind the counter talking with some friends noticed us and seated us. Our waiter who was obviously in a rush to go home immediately took our drink order before we even looked at the menu. My son asked for a kids menu and rather than a courteus nice reply to an 8 year old he says "well gimme yours first". I asked for sweet tea which he confirmed then brought me unsweetened tea. When I told him of the issue he insisted I never said sweet tea? Then he brings me mango tea. 2 minutes later he was looking to take the order. Order a couple appetizers and just 2 more minutes later he returns to say the apps would be right out and wanted the dinner orders. Mac and cheese burger had a spoonful of burnt cheese, 3 pieces of Mac on an overcooked burger with a stale looking bun and small amount of fries. He never even asked how we wanted the burger cooked. A barely any Pastrami melt with 5 small onion rings and a side of cold broccoli cost me 22$, my son's Mac and frank was a tiny serving of Kraft Mac with a cold microwaved hot dog. Waiter never offered dessert, just asked if we wanted boxes and gave me a bill. I paid 105$ with tip to never come back. The order # was 9372281.

Me and my family went to go eat inside and we got treated pretty well, but when we got our food, we all found hair in our food and got so disgusting. We got complimentary ice cream but at what cost? The atmosphere was not that good either, the decor was breaking and the walls looked very disgusting, never coming here again.

Filthy, food was undercooked and not as described on menu, and my kid got sick more than once. Never again.

Where do I start? The place was packed. They were understaffed. We sat down for 2 people at 640 and didn’t finish until 840.They ran out of iced tea, lemonade, half the ice cream flavors and a couple of the sandwiches and burgers. The building itself is run down. The wallpaper on the wall is peeling off, the carpet on the floor is peeling back. I saw a kid trip over the carpet before I left. They need an upgrade for sure. I gave the service a 5 stars because it wasn’t the waitresses fault. She did the best she could. Not her fault at all.

I haven’t been here since I was a kid and was very excited to have Friendly’s again. We came in before 11, they close at 12. The staff was heavily rushing us, which wasn’t a big deal. The food was fine, I ordered a quesadilla and they gave me the wrong one. But whatever. The big issue was the ice cream!!! I ordered a scoop of butter pecan and a pretzel flavor that looked good. All I got was soup! I don’t know how it melts so quickly but there was no chance by the time I received my ice cream. Just incredibly upsetting because it was essentially, a glass of milk. Not ice cream in any sense. Upset and angry because when I used to go to friendly’s, I ate ice cream. That’s not what I received.

I was so excited to bring my boyfriend and his mother to Friendlys which was their first time visiting this particular chain of restaurants. I have fond memories of frequenting friendlys until my locations closed up in Western New York and stopping by here after the beach seemed like the perfect idea. Unfortunately, the food was served cold, the sundaes were served in fribble cups, while everybody else in the restaurant which had plenty of customers had the sundae dishes and fantastic service. I knew this was a mad idea as soon as we learned they wouldn’t give us cream with our coffee only skim milk. The coffee was so disgusting 🤮 Our waitress was extremely flippant and spent a total of 15 seconds total with us and not even a smile welcoming us. I mean for the entire stay, not just the order. We got our food and I was so shocked. The tuna melt had almost no tuna on it, the cheese on the loaded fries was crusty and discolored, and we couldn’t even get an extra moment to ask for sauces for our fries. Also on our appetizer plate the sauce holders were placed directly on top of the quesadilla, which was disgusting. Health hazard! We felt we were mistreated by the staff here especially our waitress who was wearing yoga pants, while everyone else in the restaurant got personalized kind service by the experienced waiters. The quality of this establishment is very very poor. The table we were sat down on even had marker streaks all over and it was honestly just completely depressing. Not even a “can I get you anything else” and at the end she threw the check on the table not even stopping to say thank you for coming in. I felt embarrassed by this experience and I’ve gone to Friendlys 100s of times in my life.
