Without fail, every visit is met with the friendliest of staff. Without fail, every single signature drink I’ve tried has become my new favorite drink. Do yourself a favor and always order their donuts, I’ve gotten my family hooked on them too.

My go-to for any café is to try their regular coffee and man, oh man I love their coffee. I also bought an oreo-brownie and it was really good. I was welcomed and greeted with kindness and positivity. The two baristas were very friendly and the place was beautifully decorated. I definitely recommend and I will most certainly be returning to get a taste of everything.

I had the pleasure of enjoying Anchor Coffee for the first time today.My husband and I came in about 35 minutes before closing and they were still packed! The two girls working the counter Faith and Makayla were very kind and welcoming and made us feel like regulars even letting us sample the gingerbread nitro cold brew coffee(so yummy). Makayla made us two pumpkin spice lattes and they were delicious. Will definitely be coming back again. The only improvement I could see being made is adding more seating (although it is a very small space to begin with)

I’m not typically someone who writes reviews but my husband and I have been looking for different coffee shops to go to around the island and I came across Anchor. After reading some negative reviews together we decided to try it out for ourselves. I must say I don’t agree with any of them. The staff was incredibly friendly, the atmosphere was very nice, I’m not sure what some people meant by the vibe seeming “fake” but I definitely didn’t feel that way. They had pretty good food options for breakfast and lunch and an assortment of pastries as well. For the reviews about the owner, I didn’t talk to him myself but I heard him talking to staff and other customers and he seemed like a very normal dude. Overall I just wanted to say I don’t agree with the bad reviews..

Edit: Had another coffee here today and it was great! Muffin was even better than last time too. Old Review: Great pastries and a beautiful place, seating is a bit limited. The Pumpkin Spice Latte I had was a little light on flavor and sweetness. That's not to say the coffee was bad at all - for a plain latte I'd say it's above average. But the flavor profile and sweetness together were a bit dull for the PSL I had. I'd gladly come back and try their other coffee flavors, not quite at five stars yet though. Recommended.

I went there with my boss to chill after work because we also work at a coffee shop. The people that were working were phenomenal helped us make decisions. The coffee and snacks that we got were really great as well, I got the pumpkin spice and one of the savory food options. We will be back!

Probably the best Latte I’ve ever had…it was a Mexican blend and made so perfectly. I also had the breakfast sandwich which was excellent. Don’t walk past Anchor Coffee, it’ll be your best coffee break!

I'm so happy to have an independent coffee shop in the heart of the Village! It's just what we needed on Broadway. I am a hopeless cold brew addict, and theirs is fantastic. I have also tried and recommend the iced latte and the PSL — both solid choices and not overly sweetened. Additionally, the staff are incredibly helpful and courteous, especially if you're indecisive about your order. Now, of all times, is when we need to support small, local businesses, so stop on by one day soon. Best of luck and Godspeed to Anchor Coffee!!

It was ok. A bit on the updated scale of coffeeshop, but there is a good selection of coffees, muffins, and a few sweet things. But I only saw one bagel left, w seeds, and those of us who are not able to eat anything small due to digestion problems, would need to look for basic things. They don't carry rolls, but offer scones, and assorted breads, but are limited in the egg sandwich dept, interms of variety. Prices are reasonable, but items are Alitalia higher. Only 3 sm tables were available, to sit at, but they have outside seating also. Just not condusive to inclement weather. However, I was given permission to sit w a very nice couple, who were Friendly and polite in conversation. As a senior single person I look forward to meeting people in general. I would attend again occasionally. Food was fresh and tasty.

Staff changed and the coffee has never been the same. It’s really a shame the coffee was amazing 2022. Always a funk and the oatmilk they use tastes like water. I really hope something changes soon.

Stopped by yesterday for a coffee and a panini. The barista added the wrong milk, but was nice enough to remake it for me when I reminded them. The panini was ok, small for the price, but made on site which is good. The wait was 20 minutes long and I was the only one in there at the time. I would go in again, but they definitely could up their game.

Atmosphere is nice - not overly noisy. There were five of us. We ordered and sat down. We got a mix of iced and hot drinks - cold brew, regular coffee, iced coffee, and latte. Service was friendly, professional and fast. Unfortunately, the coffee itself is a letdown. Weak. Same opinion from the whole table. My daughter left the whole drink behind (it takes a lot for her to abandon something). Not sure what to tell them to change. Apparently others like it - so maybe ignore this review.

Any self-respecting coffeeshop would have mugs to drink out of. Single use cups only here. Hope they fix this because it is a promising addition to the area.

This was my favorite local coffee spot... until today. The staff is friendly and after a few visits they may even know your order before you tell them. I like that local vibe. Anchor Coffee has fast and free WiFi and the music selection is usually good. There's indoor seating and one bench in front if you'd like to sit outside. There's plenty of (free) parking behind the building. Unfortunately, today was my last day as a customer of Anchor Coffee. Normally I'll order a coffee, tea, and or breakfast sandwhich, but earlier today I had tea from another nearby business. My plan was to buy a togo order of hazelnut and raspberry donut holes before leaving to celebrate National Donut Day. While knocking out a few work assignments on my laptop, the owner(?) who rarely steps outside of the back room or greets anyone, walked over to my table and, whithout greeting me, flatly stated "If you don't buy anything you can't hang out here." I skipped the donut holes and said goodbye to the nice employee who always remembered my drink and made me feel like a valued customer. I've never once stepped inside Anchor Coffee and not made a purchase... until today. In my opinion, a better way to handle would’ve been for the owner(?) to walk over and say, “Hey, thanks for coming to Anchor Coffee. Would you like to order a coffee or tea, or try one of our great sandwiches?” I would’ve replied, “Thanks, but I’ll be buying a few of the tasty looking donut holes to take home to my family.” Maybe I would’ve told him about some of my favorite drinks or how much I like his coffee shop. I understand that this is a business that relies on customers spending money, but if that man had paid more than an ounce of attention to me during my many, many visits, he'd know that I'm a paying customer. I will never step foot in Anchor Coffee again. Hopefully your experience will be better than mine. Tip: Let them know that you plan on spending money before you sit down, otherwise you may be in for an unpleasant surprise.

Super cute coffee shop!! I got a breakfast wrap and it was really good and the baristas were really nice. The only thing that threw me off was the coffee was overpriced. Syrups are charged PER PUMP which I have never seen before so it would have basically cost me $3 extra to have my coffee to my liking and it was already $9. There are so many more small businesses and local shops, even starbucks unfortunately, that would be cheaper and im disappointed for that reason because everythig else was great! It was $20 for a wrap and small coffee.

There was a piece of hair in my bagel and there was little to no cream cheese on my bagel they were gonna give me another bagel and she didn’t they were very nasty and didn’t give me my money back nasty place to go

I love going to coffee shops because they are usually friendly, and kind but with this coffee shop, it’s different. I felt like the employees were rude, and the vibe felt fake. The coffee is mid. I’ll recommend places like Flux Coffee, the witches brew, those places have good customer service.

I have been here several times. I thought starbucks was expensive. 2 iced lattes $15 and they are small. I'm sorry for a small friendly place your prices are higher than starbucks. No point system or anything. I like to support the local area but just toooooo much $$$$

I have been going to this place since they opened, and they have been good up to yesterday. But, my friend went there yesterday and ordered some fruit in a cup and the owner switched the ones she wanted that she specifically asked for, with bad and spoiled fruit. We are never going back there. I am very disappointed.

Very disappointing visit. I ordered a cappuccino and a latte—both were served cold. The pastries were not fresh, and it was clear they didn’t even know how to properly make a cappuccino. For a coffee place, that’s unacceptable. I won’t be coming back.

Cute place. Ordered a cold brew and a blt on a wrap. The coffee was so bitter and I couldn’t even get through half of it. The wrap was ok, can’t mess up a blt. However it look like I took it out of my 3 y/o nephew's lunchbox. Waste of $20

I really wanted to like this spot since it’s in the neighborhood, but the drinks just don’t hit the mark. As I’m not a fan of their coffee, I tried their matcha this time, and it was easily the worst I’ve had from a coffee shop. It looked oxidized (murky green instead of vibrant) and tasted muddy. I added lavender syrup, but couldn’t taste it at all. Disappointing quality overall. I won’t be ordering it again unless they upgrade their matcha.
