Opinions de DQ Grill & Chill Massapequa
It's DQ. DQ is a treat, and while disappointed to find they've discontinued my favorite burger since my last visit, there were new specials to try and they did their best to accommodate. Staff was friendly, store clean, ice cream yummy!
Thank you to George and the Manager of this DQ for being upstanding humans and employees of this establaihment. We love our local family owned businesses and this one especially
I've been going here for years especially after they started closing down Friendly's. Great place to get a quick ice cream fix and the non-desert options are tasty too.... but I go mostly for the blizzards!
Friendly staff. Clean place. Their blizzard doesn't need reviews. Best among the most.
The food was great thanks to the guy at the window for giving me back My card I forgot about it thanks.
10/10 super delicious and amazing for family time
Great food. Great price.
Food was delicious and the staff was very nice! The food was ready very quickly. The interior is also better than the Dairy Queens I've been to in the past and it feels so cozy with the fireplace! Love that there were book bins for donations as well.
Friendly great staff very fast service I was in and out through the drive-thru in less than 3 minutes.
I like this Dairy Queen. When I go to the Dairy Queen, my favorite thing to order is the Chicken Strip Basket combo and blizzards. Dairy Queen is the only place I can get Chicken Tenders because McDonald’s used to have them but they don’t have them anymore after the pandemic started. What I like about this location is the space. The closest location where I used to go often is the Levittown location. It closed last year before the year ended, but I’ll miss that location. Another location where I also enjoyed going was in Huntington. They also closed last year but in July. I was so lucky that I went to the Levittown location before it closed. The first time I went was back in 2019. When I first tried their food, I loved it! The Chicken Strip Basket was the first thing I tried when I went and since I liked it, I kept going when I would go to Levittown. Since there used to be another restaurant in Huntington, I would go once in a while since it’s not close from where I live. I went like 1 to 2 times to Huntington. Since both locations are closed, the only Dairy Queen where I go is the Massapequa location. It’s a half hour from where I live. I go once in a while because since it’s not close to me or if I’m around in the neighborhood, I stop by. I hope they can open more restaurants nearby.
On this visit I tried DQ’s Turtle Blizzard. The chunks of pecan were huge, crunchy, and provided a nice saltiness to balance out the sweetness of the ice cream. This location is modern, clean, and well-maintained. The employee who took my order was friendly and helpful in deciding what to order.
Kids' meal side option is a banana, which is cool. The classic stack burger is really good. It tastes fresh. They did forget to give me my ice cream in the drive thru, which was a bit disappointing.
Food was delicious, after eating we went back up and ordered our blizzards, so good. The staff was friendly, the table was clean when we sat down, and it was a pleasant visit. The food was hot and fresh, haven't eaten here before but we will come back.
Everything taste good and received the food hot which is a plus. I'm noticing a trend with the Dairy Queens on Long Island, they don't carry certain sauce that out of state locations do. I shouldn't have had to eat ranch with cheese curds when other locations carry special sauces for that and their onion rings, which are delicious. Where's the tartar sauce?
Today i stopped by after shopping didn't know what exactly to get william helped me with the menu and options and let me tell you did not disappoint very delicious and fresh. Thank you so much for the fast and friendly service will definitely be back. Need more workers like him keep up the great work. The dessert was the best part did not disappoint.
staff was extremely friendly and even checked in on my table when eating. Would definitely consider going back
The staff is always so nice and I love the food prices
My daughter and I love our weekly trips to DQ. She has her fave and I now have mine, no it’s not a blizzard. I love the app and how I can order ahead and customize what I’m getting, not for all Items which is a bummer but not serious. Once in a while you get a notification so great treat but it’s rare. We love DQ
Love ice cream cakes! I had a two-hour drive, and the staff kindly gave me plenty of ice to make sure the cake stayed cold. Really appreciate the great service.
Great meal deal at a very reasonable price, in a clean and spacious dining area. Cheeseburger, fries, coke, and ice cream sundae. Perfect. They bring it to your table. And you can get your ice cream after you finish your meal, so it's not a melted puddle. Two people - under $20!!!
Would come back. Nothing fancy. Just your typical fast food place but a little different. Has items like hot dogs and cheese curds in addition to the typical hamburger/cheeseburger meals and chicken fingers. Onion rings were tasty. Didn't have desert but it looked good.
It was a good Dairy Queen experience. It’s just Nothing special. It’s just starting to make an appearance on LI for the first time in 30+ years so we would only get to go to Dairy Queen when we were traveling. They have a cute little sitting area by a fireplace and TV. Only problem is kids were being allowed to jump all over the couches by an extremely inattentive parent. Not the store’s fault, but it detracts from others enjoyment. Maybe that’s why I’m grumpy about it. The soda machines are on an island in the center of the dining room which is weird. Not a fan of the layout at all. It’s cramped and just plain strange.
Felt strange at this Dairy Queen as I grew up in Philly and you set yourself just like there but they bring your things over the table you get a number. So it's always brought up the tip well and wasn't quite sure what to do and the moment passed quickly and I did not give it tip if I was able to. So they lost a star due to my ignorance or was it solely because the etiquette of tipping or not tipping was not posted. Would have been helpful and made my experience a little more comfortable.
Love the menu, drive through is pretty neat but I find the order taking sometimes trying as with 1 of my stops here. Other than that you will find good food, service and prices for the most part! Great for a quick easy meal if you don't want to eat in per se!
There’s no tartar sauce for the onion rings and they don’t have cherry limeades. The Girl Scout thin mint ice cream was not green but looked almost white, just vanilla. My peanut buster parfait was good- I had them add caramel with the fudge, but the ice cream was kind of foamy.
I come for the blizzards, honestly. Not shown on the menu, but instead of the standard candy/cookie blizzards, ask for a banana split blizzard, or better yet, a Hawaiian one that has pineapple and coconut. Good stuff, but long lines at the drive through when the weather is nice.
The restaurant is spacious . It has a kind of relaxing feel to it . Service is good. Great place for ice cream and quick snack. They have a big TV where you can watch Sunday games with a big couch in front of the T V.
It’s 2023 and I’ve only just got to try Dairy Queen this month! Yeah, today was actually my second visit the first was last month but I digress. I had the cheeseburgers and a blizzard last time and the chicken strip sandwich and fries this time. The flavors on the burger and chicken Sandwich were good but not my thing. I will give them props on the Blizzard and fries but I will say my taste buds are more accustomed to the other burger joints.
I usually go to this DQ for a cheeseburger combo. Today, as I walked in, there was a dirty smelly homeless guy sprawled across a booth bench, sleeping with his head on the table. Not very appetizing! It's not the fault of the employees, they're probably afraid to say something. Apart from that, the food is always excellent, so is the service.
The drive thru workers were really nice, but my blizzard was handed to me mostly melted. The frozen hot chocolate that was ordered was thick and delish. Super disappointed in the blizzard though
Overall food was ok. Staff was extremely polite, no complaints on time to prepare and recieve, I'm patient. Only thing I was dissapointed about was the double cheese burger meat was over cooked. Every two or three visits there's seems to be a cooked/prepped food issue. Other than that...it is what it is... what can you expect.
Usually no issues and always great customer service. This time I went and bought my son a kids hot dog meal. It comes with free ice cream and we never have any complaints but look at how much ice cream we were given. Rip off!!! It's never that little. Guy told me that's the kids cup. Well someone is wrong because we always have had more. Smh
Went through the drive through. Was very hard to understand what the drive through speaker was saying. Speaker should be higher up and more clear.
Food was good, drive thru was fast, but very confusing, and a lot of items all over the menu, as I drove around to pay, there were more advertising for different food in the restaurant, and expensive for one person. To a first time customer, never had been there before, they need to adjust there prices, Honesty. I only brought $10.00, thank God I found $10.00 in my glove carpartment. The other Burger Joints are a Little Lower in Price. I admitt Dairy Queen has The Best Desserts and Ice Cream Concoctions, even the small sizes is expensive.
The mobile ordering is terrible. If select drive through in the app when you arrive at the store they ask you to pull into the curbside pickup. So the next time I selected curbside, arrived and parked in curbside and no one came out with my food. Then I had to get on the drive through lane and then BACK to curbside.
Service was good. Wings were chicken strips covered in sauce. Kids had burger and chicken sandwich. They were ok but they really liked the fries. Ice cream was good.
Had a peanut butter cup blizzard. Hadn’t had one in a while. I enjoyed it
Man, how can their ice cream machine be broken? That's their job. Food was decent, service quick-except ice cream. They have a few cute, comfy areas to relax in too.
Photos taken on Saturday, August 2, 2025 Update, July 14, 2025. I visited & got a meal (Sunday, 7/13/2025, around 9:30 PM). The food was okay, prices are decent. They got an order wrong over a year ago, approaching 2 years ago. Ice cream is good, food is mediocre & below average. This isn't my go-to fast food spot, except if I'm craving ice cream, they're at the top of the game for that.
Today i went there with my grand daughters and the place had a foul smell to it almost resembling poop. Not sure if the employees don't clean the bathroom but it was very off putting. My grand daughter asked for a super man blizzard and the worker said are you sure you should be eating that. Not sure what this meant but he was brown and she is heavy.
I had a mixed experience at Dairy Queen. I ordered the Cotton Candy Blizzard and the Brownie Blizzard, but the server gave us the wrong order. When I pointed it out, he responded with some attitude, which wasn’t ideal. However, after checking the order screen, it was clear he made the mistake, and it was quickly corrected. The ice cream itself was really good both Blizzards were delicious and hit the spot. While the mix-up and the attitude were frustrating, the quality of the ice cream made up for it. Overall, a 3-star experience good ice cream, but the service could definitely use some improvement.
The staff was good but the manager was a bit rude. I french fries got cold and became hard. Had to travel 10 minutes to get home after finding out their was no dining. Would have gone closer to home.
The food was very disappointing, there was no milk in the store to make any milkshakes. The ice cream vanilla flavor had no taste. It was bland as though the vanilla essence was absent. What is going on with the product standard??
A girl working drive through dropped our order in the drive through after waiting so long. Plenty of people leaving behind us because they couldn’t make food fast enough. We waited like 30 plus in the line IN A DRIVE THRU.
I've been to a couple DQs & I'm not sure what the training is like at this location but I honestly felt bad for the people working here. No one knew what they were doing & the workers kept throwing attitude towards each other in front of the customers. It was pretty uncomfortable. Also there was ice cream all over the floor & our Blizzards were soup, I almost laughed when she tried to tip it upside down.
Less than pleased that the three blizzards we ordered were more like soup than ice cream. One fell on the floor and an employee had to take it from her coworker to remake it as he was going to give it to me.
Ordered the Crispy chicken sandwich combo got and paid for the strips. Upon the correction of my order the money was not refunded and I had to go back due to the sandwich being excessively hot and fries dry both not edible. Future ice cream customer your food on the other hand is less to be desired!
If you go into the store it’s consistently good, but don’t EVER go through the drive through, guy at the window legitimately does not understand anything and good luck getting any sort of sauce with your food, and to top it off you can’t choose any of the soda options from the coveted coke remix machine when ordering through the drive through but only when ordering in store, which makes no sense being the machine is no exaggeration 5 feet from the back counter
Not a good experience. Ordered at the drive thru... I was asked to pull up and wait as was the 2 cars in front of me and the car behind me. Waited 13 mins (checked the time on the receipt) just a few fries in the box (large combo ordered) and got a piece of plain bread not toasted and nothing Texas about it just a plain piece of bread in the box.. no ketchup either. The chicken was good. got charged extra for the extra dipping sauce. 1 star for the ice being cold and 1 star for the cup not leaking.
How can 2 meals cost $32.00????? The $7 meal is $8 here. A burger meal and 2 small blizzards cost that much??? Then after waiting 15 minutes I had to ask for my blizzards. The guy said that he thought I wanted them later. Are you serious???? The order was to go. Was I supposed to pick them up tomorrow? He had the nerve to have an attitude when I asked for them telling me "whatever". You need to learn how to give me my order and i didn't order your attitude. When I finally tasted the cotton candy blizzard it was waaayyy too sweet. If you like eating spoonfuls of sugar then this could work for you.
Every time I come to this place, I am always disappointed with my blizzard. I always ask for extra toppings because their regular blizzard barely has any toppings mixed in. I continuously come here and always leave dissatisfied.
We ordered the Blizzards, because we thought we would have time to enjoy them. This is the second time we are rushing to eat them because they are melting so fast. Are they using too much air? They started melting 30 seconds after the upside down test. I don't think the upside down test ensures the quality if it's flipped for a second. We are going back to eating scooped ice cream. It lasts longer.🥺 However on the plus side, they have a great dining area and their burgers are delicious.😋
Tried to order through the drive through at 2:58 on August 2nd and whoever is working there today must really hate her job. They need to do better. Left after the rude behavior
I will never understand why the Dairy Queen Corporation has some foods at some locations and not at others.. I have a 94-year-old mother who hasn't been eating but who perked up when she heard about popcorn shrimp I was going to get her I go all the way down there and find out the Massapequa location doesn't serve this.. I've never gone to Wayne McDonald's and had them say this location doesn't serve Big Macs.. not only that the chicken tenders I opted for instead we're tough.. it was no Texas toast as part of the meal which it should be
Bought Dairy Queen on the way home as a special treat for my fiance and myself. Came home. Got into PJs. Ate dinner. Had half of a Qomder Woman Blizzard. Then fell asleep. Woke up so sick! Not sure what they put into there Blizzards, but I am throwing both of them into the garbage. I will never return to this place. Very disappointed in delicious ice cream that I used to get when I was a child as a special treat.
i was wrongfully discriminated against. the lady came up to me and said i stole my blizzard. i simply told her i bought it and she said i didn’t. I told her i don’t think i have the receipt and she proceeded to criticize me about how i’m not supposed to take food because i’m supposed to be given the food. i was given the food and i was shocked about these allegations. i proceed to check my pockets because she was accusing me of something I didn’t do. I then found the receipt in my pocket, and she walked away. I feel discriminated against, and most definitely will not be dining at the DQ in Massapequa again.
Went in planning to order a sundae. Also tried to order a hamburger instead only to be told they don't have them on the menu to order. You have to order something else, like a cheeseburger, and then ask them to take everything off. First time I have seen a burger joint not sell hamburgers...and this way they can charge you for all the toppings you're NOT getting!
Got there and saw the drive thru was empty, thought this would be quick and easy. Soo I order a burger, a chicken sandwich, two fries, two cokes, and a cinnamon bun shake. Paid and was directed to wait in the yellow parking/waiting area. Ten minutes past and I was still waiting there. So finally the food comes, but the worker forgets the drinks. She goes back in and another five minutes goes by before I get my drinks. The burger was dry and over cooked, and both my burger and the chicken sandwich looked like someone smashed them both with a mallet before wrapping them. Fries were cold, and the shake had actual chunks of cinnamon in it as if it were never blended. At least the soda was cold.... and all this for almost 30 bucks! Stick with McDonald’s or any other fast food joint, as it’s cheaper and better and legitimately fast service.
For this review every 5 minutes I waited on the drive-thru is one star deducted from my review. You can figure it out from there. This needs to be fixed, it's been years and these unnecessary long waits are still taking their toll. And I came when the line was short. I don't usually go through the drive-thru, but the line seemed short, so I figured why not. I ordered pretty much when I arrived, and even with that, the wait was still an unreasonable 20+ minutes. I've seen the line extend out onto Sunrise Highway numerous amounts of times, which probably indicates wait times exceeding 45 minutes. Please fix your wait times! And on top of the wait, they got my order wrong the first time. Please improve.
This place is wildly incompetent. It took 30 minutes for the order to be ready. When it came out, one of the items was wrong (they made a vanilla sundae instead of chocolate), so they gave us the wrong item and the "corrected item." I'd repeated three times when placing the order "chocolate side cream with M&Ms as a topping, not a sundae." The cashier just kept repeating "sundae or blizzard" and I said whatever you need to put it in as, just chocolate ice cream and M&Ms. There was no way we were going to stand there another 20 minutes waiting for them to correct it. This is not the first time recently they've had the drive through line all the way out onto Sunrise Highway and the small army of workers moving in slow motion. I've never seem anything like this for "fast" food.
35 minutes for a hot dog that was like a radiator hose. Staff did not understand and omitted from our order. We didn't get charged, but we had wanted what we ordered. Won't go back to chaos.
No workers to write on cake. They told me to wait. I spoke to three workers. They come back and said the worker who decorated the cake only comes in every other day. Next time Friendly 's or Carvel. What a waste of time to celebrate my wife's birthday. They lost me as a customer.
I ordered take out to pick up inside. I got it and saw I didn’t get my ranch nor my drink. I knocked on the door that they locked too early (five minutes to 10, and Google says they’re open until 11) and they ignored me. I finally got the ranch, not without attitude and the kid wiping his hand all over mine as he gave it to me
Drove up to empty drive thru at 7:30 on a Tuesday 5/4/21 night. It took over 5 minutes for someone to ask me for my order. I order 2 simple sundaes 🍨. One small vanilla with Carmel and one large twist with Carmel. Pull up to pick up window and pay. Sit there 5 minutes waiting for two simple ice creams. The girl comes back to the window and ask me to pull up they will bring it out to me. I wait an additional 10 plus minutes before a girl brings out two sundaes. Both vanilla with no twist. I ask her where was the twist and she said it's in one of them but wasn't. Since I waited so long and clearly was a very poor run place of business I just left. I'll never go back. Can't see this place staying in business in the future. Very poor ownership and service. Incompetent place of business.
My 5 year grandson and I would have enjoyed eating our blizzards had it not been for the more that twenty unruly boys who were using the dining area as their personal hang out. None were buy food just using swear words, watching TV and being obnoxious.
Sat stuck in the drive through for 45 minutes messed up order and dont have anything that was advertised. No one knows how to use the cash register took longer to get my credit card back than getting my over cooked chicken and melted icecream Sunday. Will not be returning.
Heres what to expect: 1) Order between $10 and $50 worth of food. 2) Get to the window to pay 3) They will hold the iced cream upside down in front of you like it is some sort of magic trick. 4) They will tell you to pull your car up to wait. 5) You will wait there for 20 minutes as your Ice Cream melts all over your car.
This was my first visit and most likely my last. The food was just ok, limited menu. The dine in area was freezing!! My food cooled down real quick and I had to get my jacket from the car. But the worst part of the night was when staff refused our order for a dessert at 10:15pm because they closed the register on one side of the restaurant!! Yet the drive up was being accommodated! How do they stay in business when you refuse a dine-in sale? They get ZERO for customer service!! I won't return.
Please turn down the microphone on the drive thru. It is so loud I hear it through my closed window at night. I live next door. There is no reason for it to be so loud. Other than that, the ice cream is okay.
The owner and/or management of this Dairy Queen have single handedly ruined the chain for me. I consistently got ice cream that was mixed wrong due to hot weather in the summer and improperly calibrated machines. I stopped going, only to go months later after seeing my favorite blizzard had returned. The ice-cream was way over aerated (the cup barely weighted ANYTHING) with the brownie batter mix only mixed into the top portion. The result? A nasty, sandy textured concoction that was gross. Take your money and go to Marshalls ice cream on 27A for REAL ice cream and some quality control. Heck - go to McDonalds, at least the mix is reliable.
Very bad experience. I have been going to Dairy Queen for years and never had an issue. Today was a completely different story. Before I ordered i asked if the coupon applied to what I wanted to order and the cashier told me yes it did. I then asked if I was able to use my rewards points with the coupon, she said yes. So I proceeded to order what I wanted, the screen for the customer to see was not working so I was not able to make sure everything came off. The cashier also did not tell me the price she said "put the card in". After I paid, I looked at my receipt, after something that was supposed to cost me $4 ended up costing me $9! First I told her she forgot to give me my cup for my drink & my dipping sauce. She said she gave it to me but never did. She said I have to pay for another cup & dipping sauce, but I never got my first one! I also told the cashier that the coupon and rewards points didn't come off, she didn't believe me an insisted that it did. After she had her friend come over to look at the receipt she said my order doesn't apply to the coupon and you can't use a coupon and rewards together. That it why I asked both of those questions before I placed my order! She told me "order something else next time." I told her there will not be a next time, grabbed my things and walked out.
I hate leaving bad reviews but I've consistently had bad experiences at this DQ. Every time we order the blizzards there are barely any toppings included. I've asked (and payed more money) for extra toppings just to receive a practically empty cup, even after asking and paying for extra. It's very disappointing especially when this is happening at every visit. Save your money and go somewhere else.
Came here for the new blizzard, they didn’t have it. Cashier was rude, server was rude, and asked for a cup of cone dip and got a cup of ice cream. First time here not coming back.
There is MAYBE 1 nice person that works the drive thru. 2 different women have had the worst attitude taking the drive thru orders. I am confused why they don’t ever ask any questions. For example, If I wanted a # 2 their response was “ok” … no follow up questions at all. This has been my experience 4 separate times. 3 with a taller with glasses black woman and 1 with a blonde white with glasses woman. Is this the training they’re given? This is very strange. Additionally, I was given a small bag and they walked away without saying anything. I was missing half my order so had to wait until they came back and flagged them down to say what was missing. They came back still missing items so I waited longer until they came back and told them the rest. Multiple people standing around on their phones and doing nothing. This is VERY disappointing as someone who has been coming here with my kids since opening.
Horrific place. I ask for tenders with honey mustard and buffalo sauce. Maybe honey mustard and ranch. No sauce. Almost every. single. time. Charging me an arm and a leg for this processed microwaved garbage, impolite workers (dont think I have ever gotten a you're welcome after saying thank you, the only thing the workers ever say is the price) the absolute LEAST they could do, the BARE MINIMUM is give me the sauce I asked for.
Ordered a Blizzard and a chocolate malt; very simple order. The place was very disorganized and messy. I felt badly for the 2 people stationed at the counter. They were overwhelmed between DoorDash orders, packing orders to go, and taking orders at the counter. I waited between 15-20 minutes as my ice cream sat at the counter for half the time. It was difficult to get their attention as plenty of other customers were having their own issues (wrong orders, not being provided with napkins, utensils, etc.) After waiting for a long time, one of the counter help finally asked me what I was waiting for, but could not find the correct ticket for the counter after I showed her my receipt; to make matters worse they, had no idea what a chocolate malted even looked like. They then had to make a new one as they didn’t know where it was or if it was even a malted. When I finally received it, it was sticky and I needed to clean it myself. I then needed to ask for spoons. The store just seems inundated by inexperienced high school students that don’t understand customer service. When I brought the malted home to my wife, she said it tasted more like a shake with some hard pieces floating at the bottom. Maybe the drive-thru is a better experience, but the inside was a nightmare. Experience is key!
Very quick service, very unhealthy but ok tasting food sometimes... expensive for fast food. It cost $70 to feed a family of five and that was just chicken strips, fries and a drink per person. Definitely not worth it. Go to the supermarket and feed your family like you love them, don't kill them with this garbage.
Their app signed me out for no reason and when I try to sign back in it does not let me sign in and I had 500 points too so and I come here a lot and not anymore until this is a solved😡
How do I order a non dairy dilly bar and still get a dairy dilly bar but its sugar free HOW IS THAT THE SAME? you manged to send someone into a crohns flair up due to this mistake.
This place NEVER gets anything right. Order a burger plain, and they can't get it right. Order a chicken strips basket with extra gravy and they completely omit the gravy all together. Every single time we've been to this establishment they screwed up our orders. Not to mention you have to repeat yourself over and over again just for them to screw the order up anyway. How damn hard is it to get an order right!?
There is a two dude one is a good guy but second taller is clearly unprofessional if I would be manager or who Evers responsibility is to take care of that I would take a close look to that guy he’s very unprofessional
I ordered a large velvet cake blizzard at drive thru. Went to window they giving me 3 small blizzards, I said that's not what I ordered. I told these young kids what I ordered and after paying they told me to wait for it on the yellow lines. They must of forgot about me because 4 cars came and went after me. After wasting 10 minutes waiting I started beeping my horn and then after 5 more minutes the girl brought out my blizzard. That's 15 minutes of my life I will never get back. I should be refunded due to your workers incompetence.
Not too happy. 2 of us (cars) were just waiting in line for 5 minutes. Then they tell us they are closed. We were there well before 6pm which is closing time
This has to be a joke. I ordered the chicken strips box (grubhub order) and when i opened the box there was no chicken strips. How does that even happen? This place is incompetent. The bag was sealed so it was not the grubhub driver who tampered with it. This looks like garbage. I wish I would have read previous reviews before ordering from here. The owner reply’s to everyone’s poor reviews and seems like nothing ever changes. Don’t waste your time here, it won’t last anyway with their quality and eventually will go out of business.
Received two blizzards that were straight liquid like a pile of soup… don’t waste your money go to cold stone
we go through the drive-through and we order a Choco brownie extreme blizzard in that blizzard is brownie bits and it’s chocolate ice cream we leave and we realize that they gave us just a plain old M&M blizzard so we go back and my husband waits 30 minutes to get a new one we soon realize that the new one is still not the right one, but we are too Tired to even care. DO NOT GO BACK TO THE DAIRY QUEEN EVER
We literally never leave reviews or rate anything but this experience was all wrong. We ordered a 4 and 6 piece Chicken Strip Baskets w/Drink and they came as both 4 pieces. We ordered medium blizzards and they came as smalls. Called the store to get a resolution and the person on the phone questioned my integrity and essentially called me a liar. Never ordering here again. Dont waste your money here and go somewhere else.
Disgusting.. Unfortunately I didn’t know that they were closing and that is my fault, but I am still so very disappointed with the service & the food I received. First off the woman who was handing us the order had the worst attitude & customer service, second of all the food was still frozen. I understand the restaurant is closing but that is one thing you don’t do. It’s like if they threw them in the microwave for 1 minutes & barely let it defrost. Super disappointed, as someone who loves to come here for the ice cream you would think maybe they’d put some effort in their food as well.
I got a #1 burger combo while I was picking up a $30 ice cream birthday cake. Came out to about $44 total. On the way out after I had paid, I asked for a packet of BBQ sauce and the lady had the nerve to ask me for $.25 for it and waited for me to dig around in my pocket for a quarter. Then I get home with my burger and it looks like somebody beat it up. It's too bad, I like DQ but I doubt I'll return.
