Middle of long Island so I wasn't expecting much but this turned out to be a very nice homey friendly restaurant. Food all around was very good and plentiful. Um not sure if there is handicap access as we had to go down a couple of steep steps to get into the main dining room. Men's room could use some work but the rest of the place made up for it.

Paddy's Loft is a wonderful Irish Experience. The service and menu are beyond compare. The manager June is in a class of her own. June remembered me from a year ago. Now that's a person who takes personal care of her customers. You can't find that relationship anywhere nowadays. Thank you June and Paddy's for a great afternoon 🙂🙂🙂🙂

Upon arrival we were greeted withva smile from possibly the owner. The sevice was good as was the food. Had the prix fixe which was a 3 course dinner. The duck was great as was the rack of lamb.will definitely go back.

My wife and myself walked in we sat ourselves down at a table no big deal the waitress came right over coffee water and we ordered a few minutes later.. She was great as the place got busy.. We both walked out filled and for a good price..

Stopped in for a quick snack. Good Irish nachos and a delicious seasonal drink menu (loved the apple cider mimosa). Also had a lovely conversation with the owner who's from Dublin.

Omg the fries here are amazing! The waitresses are super friendly and most sound irish- the accent. My daughter and I were taken care of we'll. I hope they do get iceberg lettuce for salads as alternative soon.

Went out with friends to dinner. Food was excellent. Started off with a large fresh baked pretzel. Don't know how they do it, but it was so soft on the inside, but yet had a soft crunch on the outside. It was even better than Auntie Annes pretzels that you get at your local mall. I had cup of onion soup. Rich with onions and a cheese topping. Absolutely delicious. The entrée was corned beef and cabbage. It was so soft and tasty, that I would have to rate it as the best I ever. The only complaint that I have, is that when you order a soda, there is no complimentary refill. A pet peeve of mine, but it really bugs me that you pay $3.50 for a glass that probably costs them 10 cents to make. That would normally be a deal breaker for me to ever return, but I'll make an exception, only, because the food and service was so outstanding.

The food is fantastic! I had the Irish spring rolls, and my husband had French dip sandwich. We split baked clams, and spinach, and artichoke dip with family. The service is good, and the cozy atmosphere was so relaxing. Especially by the fireplace in the lounge area. Decorated beautifully for Christmas 🎄. Whenever we come to NY to visit family, we love to come here. Great place!

We were at the 4:30 searing for Easter dinner. The hostess gave a choice of tables that would give us room for the kids. The food is always great at Paddy’s but what really made our night was the exceptional service provided by the staff. Our server was cheerful, friendly, very efficient, attentive but not intrusive. She made sure every detail of the order was right and stopped by the table often to see if we needed anything. The bussers and runners were working so quickly and efficiently too keeping everything running smoothly. Paddy’s has long been a family favorite and we can’t wait to visit again!

This place is close to perfect. Our family celebrated the life of our youngest sister & aunt last week. This was a sudden & tremendous loss. I commend Paddy’s Loft for the comfort and quality of care they showed everyone. A very sad day became an uplifting experience. We had the rehearsal dinner for my son and his fiancee here last night. June helped me with the menu and details and planning and yesterday we had Liam and Lisa as servers and they were exceptional. 35 or so for dinner and drinks. The food was delicious and came to the table hot which isn't easy when 35 people at once. We met at Paddys Loft in September 2021 the night they got engaged to celebrate so it was very fitting to have the rehearsal dinner here. I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is consistently delicious and it's just a very welcoming place. Thank you to all who made last night so special for all of us! We will be back again and again

We just moved to the area a few months back and we were looking to find a "local" place to eat. We kept passing Paddy in the car passed our house and we finally decided to stop in. We were greeted by a kind older Irish gentleman, I believe he was the owner. We got seated quickly. Our waitress dropped off menus and took anout 10 mins to stop back over for our drink order snd a general check-in to tell us the specials. It was busy that night though so we understood. We placed our order for apps and for entrees and we were not disappointed!! Food was so delicious!!! We didn't have room for dessert but will definitely be back!! Lovely and authentic Irish pub/restaurant!

My Mother and I just came home from THE BEST Turkey Dinner we ever had!! It came with mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and veggies. You also got salad and a dessert that came with it. Totally worth every penny! All was cooked to delicious PERFECTION. 👌🏻 Even the NY cheesecake and brownie were delicious! The owner, Noel was so pleasant as he usually is and asked how our meal was and we both didn’t hesitate to share our over satisfaction! ☺️👊🏻 Looking for a wonderful restaurant to go to with your family for the holidays or really anytime? Held a gathering for approx 20 people between wakes. They were very respectful, receptive and professional. I had the steak, which was done just right, tasted good. Guinness beer tasted fresh. Guests were happy. No complaints about food. Staff had a great attitude. All good and would go back again.

We just had our wedding here, small ceremony and party, and it was the perfect setting. The room was beautifully arranged for our needs. They let us bring in our own decorations as well. BEST FOOD PLACE EVER! The drinks are great and the service is nice and amazing. The Irish atmosphere and music is great and very welcoming and the food is great!!

We went there at 7:30 on a Tuesday. At that time, it was very quiet. I enjoyed a delicious beef stew dinner ( 1 of the 2 gluten-free options). It is very rare to find a beef stew that is gluten-free, so I ordered it. The service was excellent.

Step dance on over to Paddy's Loft for delicious Irish fare as well as many time-honored favorites. Their corned beef and cabbage egg rolls are tasty. Their Shepherd's Pie is rich and the gravy and potatoes make this again a win-win for diners. Their salads are fresh, crisp, and beautifully plated. The fish is perfectly seasoned and seared. We each had doggy bags so the desert was skipped. Next time maybe we will start there and work our way back. The staff was pleasant and attentive.

I wanted a proper Irish meal for my birthday. Paddy's Loft definitely delivered with great food, service, and atmosphere. One daughter proclaimed her burger was one of the best she's ever had. The other said Paddy's has the best fried. They both loved the Irish Nachos, too. For me, the fish and chips was top notch; flaky, great batter, and fresh. For dessert, the blueberry bread pudding was so good! This is a restaurant I will return to many times over.

We had my father's celebration of life lunch here after his funeral in early January 2026. The process of picking the menu was simple and June was very helpful. We opted for the buffet lunch The staff was excellent and June kept the lunch moving along at a nice pace without rushing anyone and addressed our needs well. It was a 3 hour event and the price per person made this a great value. Everyone enjoyed the excellent food quality and atmosphere of this cozy warm restaurant. I would recommend Paddy's Loft for any get together or event.

Stumbled upon this spot in Massapequa to grab a quick drink and a crisp glass of beer. My server Andrew was very attentive, nice, and provided great service. He was knowledgeable about the menu and answered all our questions. The Reuben was my favorite menu item. It came out hot and the meat was cooked very well. There’s a reason this place holds the #1 Guinness pour. The Guinness was creamy and transported me back to Ireland.

After a large Family Funeral we gathered for a luncheon. They were readily able to accommodate the large group and we all sat in an area almost a private room. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Definitely a nice place with good food and service for just about anything whether it's sitting at the bar for a drink or sitting down for a meal.

Stopped in after shopping for a quick lunch. Was happy to see they had lunch specials. The half sandwich with a soup or salad seemed like a good deal for $13. I had the french dip and potato soup. Potato soup portion was pretty tiny and it was a tad watery but not bad and was hot. The french dip was cooked to medium rare as requested and was very tender. The menu stated it was made on garlic bread and I really enjoyed the garlic flavor (might be a bit too garlicky for the non garlic lover). The jus was good but VERY salty. I don't mind but others might. Waitress was friendly, good service.

They are part of the Long Island Restaurant week with a price fixe menu of appetizer, entree and dessert. We both had the French dip roast beef sandwich which was very good. However, we were there for over an hour because there was only one waitress running around the dining room until 2 others came in. They lost 1 star for that. If lunch is busy, I can only imagine how dinner is.

They charge for every soda you buy and refills - $3.75 for 8oz after all the ice that is added. The side salad was about the size for a baby bird. Food good but don't need to be nickle and dimed. I talked to the manager and waiter and they said talk to the owner. I don't know if I'll go back. The only one that gets hurt is the waiter with his TIP. Unacceptable!

Excellent food! The New Zealand lamb chops are the best I ever had. The spinach and mashed potatoes were also excellent. The waitress came to us after 25 minutes and no one brought us the soup.What annoyed me was that I was charged a $2.00 "S/C: CC Fee" which the waitress couldn't explain. This was in addition to the credit card charge, which I was aware of.

This is second time my husband and I have been to Patty’s Loft. The atmosphere is really cozy, clean and I love that it feels authentic. The food was delicious and authentic both times. We did go for St. Patrick’s Day and it was confusing why they weren’t serving the Irish breakfast which is why my husband chose to go there in the first place. But what was a bit weak is the service. Some of the gentleman bus boys were very friendly and attentive but our waitress barely came to check up on us. When we were getting ready to leave, what looked like the manager or hostess came to our table and didn’t greet us or asked us how our meal was but instead proceeded to clear the table and say it’s because they had people waiting. Which was not an issue at all but being a hostess my self it’s just courtesy to ask how the service was, especially when your pushing us out. She wasn’t rude, but it felt a bit cold to leave that way. If it wasn’t for that it would be full 5 stars! We would still go back because we do enjoy the food and the atmosphere and it is a cute Irish spot.

I was in the mood for a really good Irish Coffee and came across this place. It was a charming Irish Pub with lots of personality. My bartender Rita was terrific and I enjoyed my Irish Coffee. I'd come back.

Had the beef stew and it was very yummy! Very tender beef, nice potatoes. Could use more veggies in my opinion but the majority probably want mostly meat and potatoes. Had a black and tan, you can tell their Guiness is good. Many people with Guinness so constant pour and clean lines. Cute Irish pub feel.

Was there for the second time and wasn't disappointed. First had the Pretzel and it was accompanied by a tasty cheese sauce - was delish. For my main I had the Full Irish Breakfast and was semi-close to being in Ireland again. The only thing I was taken a little aback by was the music that was being played - American Country, but oh well.

Great local, irish cottage pub that features some rather good food and drinks. Been here a few times and always pleased with everything. The French onion soup aswell as the potato soup is very good. Their wings and burgers are also very good, as is the Ruben. They have a bar side and a restaurant side, both of which is nice. The service has always been fast and friendly.

My son and I went for happy hour only to find out that the one place we ate/drank in is not available for happy hour. Manager? Owner said, Oh no, you must sit in the car area. Food was great though.

The food was delicious, but took over 1-1/2 house after we ordered. The waitstaff kept telling us it's coming...they're plating it now... & apologizing. It was a holiday & crowded, but we kept seeing people who arrived after us getting their orders while we waited.

Balanced Review of Paddy's Loft During a recent visit to Paddy's Loft, a restaurant with a reputation for fine food, my group of eight encountered a mix of impressive cooking and some service challenges. Our evening began with a slight delay. We had a 7:00 PM reservation, but there was no one to greet us until about 7:18pm. After some confusion over where to sit, we were eventually seated in the fireplace room. Service throughout the evening was slower than expected. Our waitress, while friendly and professional, was unable to attend to us promptly. This was particularly noticeable as other tables, seated after us, received faster service and complimentary bread that our table did not. It was evident that the restaurant was busy preparing for a large group and seemed short-staffed, which may have contributed to the slower service. However, this did lead to a feeling that our table was not given the same attention as others. At the end of our meal, there was an unusual request to increase our tip from 10% to 20%, which did not seem in line with the level of service we experienced. In conclusion, while the food at Paddy's Loft was certainly a highlight and worth returning for, the service inconsistencies were a notable downside. An improvement in service would make future visits more appealing and better aligned with the quality of their cuisine.

BUYER BEWARE!! Watch out for misleading advertisement. We were excited to try a new restaurant for us. We saw an ad in Newsday for a Price Fixe Dinner - $29. Immediately below was a picture stating "16oz Prime Rib Served with 2 sides, an appetizer and dessert." We asked our server for the Prime Rib Price Fixe Dinner and confirmed with him it was $29. We even showed him the ad when we ordered. He took the order. Food came fast and was delicious. We were shocked that instead of $29 per person, the bill was $115. we did not have drinks or anything extra. How did they get this? When we questioned it, the manager came over and said that is just the advertisement, but the Prime Rib was not part of the Price Fixe. (The statement and picture were on the ad.) The server said he did not hear our question correctly- as it was noisy. While the food was delicious - we did not feel like arguing about the bill and ruining our evening. We still did not see how it would cost $55 per person for the meal, + tax. We paid the bill and tipped the server. The manager was not even sorry that there was a problem and did not say thank you or good night when we left. Sad. Edit - Thank you for your response. You missed the boat - it was your ad that had misleading information. Why would you have a picture of the steak, and the caption 16 ounce steak, etc. below the Dinner Price Fixe $29, if that was not part of the specific price fixe that was advertised? Considering we did ask the server before ordering, he should have questioned us. The food was delicious. Next time we will know better and make sure the server hears us properly.

Was disappointed tonight. The Fish and Chips were Not Good, tasted like Frozen dried out , not good quality. My Lady had the Pork loin Pre fix which Was Good. The Appetizer that She selected was Popcorn Shrimp which was Not Good ,also tasted Frozen dry crunchy etc. * Over all We Do like the Place, I guess it just depends on what food You Order. This was the 3rd Visit in months.

Ordered from the prefixed menu. Had the French onion soup as an app, the lamb chops for the main and the apple pie for dessert. The soup was delish. I had to send back the lamb chops because they were overcooked, but they got it right the 2nd time. As for the apple pie, I'm not even sure how to describe it, I literally got a burnt to a crisp (and I mean burt to a crip, black as charcoal) mess they tried to pass as apple pie. I should have sent it back but the waitress was so nice I felt bad sending a 2nd thing back, so I made the best of it and ate the filling with the scoop of vanilla ice cream that it came with. We also ordered the baked clams as an additional app, thumbs down on those, the short rib, which was super dry and a bit tough, and the corned beef and cabbage, which thank good was good. I mean, it is an Irish restaurant! I don't think I would recommend this place because of the inconsistencies in the quality of the food..I posted a pic of the pie crust, I literally looks like a lump of coal! Lol

Fair pub grub. Think old school Irish pub, which always has its appeal; but in today’s competitive gastro pub movement, you can get more bang for your buck going somewhere else. Most price points for beer and food are similar at most local pubs. Since that’s the case, I need more of an experience if I’m going to eat, drink, and spend some time with good company. Don’t get me wrong, this is by no means a poor establishment. The staff is friendly enough and the food is okay. The last time we were there, we had a funky batch of draft beer-which was unfortunate. I’d go for a quick beer or two, but I might stick to bottled beer next time.

Had lunch here with friends. Service was slow although place not crowded. Food tasted good but the burger which I ordered medium well was mostly raw. Guess I should have said well done. My friends ordered the loin of pork and seemed satisfied. The place is larger than it looks from outside and could accommodate a larger party.

Asking if we were done several times because they had lines waiting for tables. We have been coming here for 25 years. Used to be good, last 3 times not great. Properly new owner, they changed recipes, not coming any more

I am shocked by the pricing inconsistency. A single cup of soup is $4.00, but when I ordered a quart, I was charged a ridiculous $35! That math doesn’t add up. A quart is only four cups—by that logic, it should have been $16, not nearly triple the price. I brought this to the staff’s attention, but they didn’t offer an explanation or adjustment. I understand businesses need to make a profit, but this feels like price gouging. Delicious soup but not worth the price. I’ve heard so many great things about this place so I was excited to try it but I was let down. The service was horrible. Server claims they didn’t hear us order an appetizer and our food took 45 minutes to get to the table. Prices were wildly high for standard food.

Food may be good... never found out. 20 minute turned into an hour... even though there were empty tables. Hostess told us we could not assume to sit at a table, so we continued to wait. We left, Service SUCKED, Hostess was argumtitve.

Last visit 2 weeks ago, restaurant has gone downhill- Iris Sofa Bread was stale , Irish Spring Rolls were not as usual, taste different- Shepherds Pie is definitely not as good as it was. Either different chef or using cheaper ingredients. It was a Friday night , empty , we were 6 and while ordering dessert , owner seated a party of 8 next to us - 2 feet away no social distancing WHY place was empty. We used to go there but as of our last experience, we will NEVER RETURN. Owner needs sensitivity training. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Completely disappointed! We wanted corned beef and cabbage and thought where better to get it than an Irish pub. Wrong! Took over an hour to get our food,, the music was so loud and so annoying! Ok well it would be worth it for a really good corned beef right? Wrong!! The corned beef was AWFUL!! It was undercooked, fatty and had absolutely no flavor! So disappointing! I will not return ! And to top it off the price was ridiculous. I don't complain about prices for good food but not for what we got served!

We went here after a family funeral burial. Family needed a meal and to be together. Food was great, service was excellent. They were patient, we had a few toddlers and 9 kids under age 10. We all had different food needs and they accommodated. Much appreciated. Thanks.

We just left the facility . 45 min wait to be seated ( understandable) after 1 hour and 30 min of waiting for our food to arrive it tasted bland n flavor at all . The food was disappointing not worth the wait . The waitress was a sweet heart , she did everything she could to help me entrain my four children . The bill came out to 180 ! Never again

Went for dinner last night with friends…. Entered the very small vestibule which was crowded and politely asked if we could get a table for four. Before responding, the owner was very nasty and offensive yelling at us to close the door and get out of the fire lane which apparently was the small area between the door to the bar and another to the dining room. It was difficult to know where to stand as there was four of us and three or four others waiting to be seated. How were we to know it was a fire lane as it was the only place to stand when you walked in! Besides being the entrance and waiting area, it also was the entrance to the bathrooms so overcrowded to say the least! He yelled GET OUT OF THE FIRE LANE and GO TO THE END OF THE BAR and not so professionally said “why don’t you go to our other restaurant Smuggler Jacks”? The bar was packed with one seat available so we nicely ordered drinks! The owner followed us and was right on our back and basically being a jerk! Needless to say we were talking amongst ourselves about his behavior and he overheard one of our not so nice comments and got up in our face and told us to leave saying they treat their staff with respect! We were respectful of the bartender and she very nicely said I’ll make them drinks but he insisted we leave….The owner was so offensive we began to walk out as he continued to badger us! While leaving he gave us the finger through the window which did not sit well with us! He actually came out of the restaurant and once again got in our face!! If we were different kind of people the situation could have escalated quickly! I am 73 and it all my years have never been treated like that!! The owner gave no thought to the children seated with their parents nor the overcrowded bar area….when escalating the conversation…..he merely should have said he had no tables! As for the fire lane, the place was overcrowded to begin with so in the event of a fire, people would probably have difficulty getting out quickly! Never going back so don’t need to worry. Such a shame when proprietors sink to such a level!

We have been going to Paddy’s loft for years for Thanksgiving and everything has always been wonderful. I have degenerative disc disease in my spine and they have always honored my request for a booth or a at least a half booth because I cant sit is a regular wooden chair for long periods. I called again this year 2024 to make my reservation again and as usual requested a booth and was told they couldn’t promise me a booth. Guess they stopped serving disability request, it’s pretty sad, we really enjoyed our Thanksgivings and some Christmases there.

I normally do not post google reviews (waste of my time) I had no choice…Do not..NOT … make any catering reservations with owner Noel Canon paddy’s loft . The most unprofessional, rudest person in the restaurant business. Just ask his staff…Long story short he canceled my event 1 week prior …even though I had booked this restaurant many times in the past/ Noel did not care. I had to fight for my deposit after multiple calls. I do not want anyone to go through this frustration and loss of money and time!! Noel… you know what you did was wrong!!! Anyway.. I’ll see you in court !!! Good luck (NOT) in your future endeavors! Further.. look at owner google reviews (what a shame..how do you run a business) Here’s the review: “Negative reviews for Owner: Several reviews describe the owner as rude, vulgar, and confrontational, particularly in situations involving events or crowded bars.”
