Went there for Jackson Neves music. As we listened to great music (and the crowd was even singing along), we had outstanding bar and waitress service as our table of 8 grew to 12. The staff was very accommodating. Much appreciated. Thank you! 🤩
We had a delicious family Sunday brunch. The prices were reasonable for 6 adults. I had the PBR breakfast and the pancakes were the BEST I’ve ever eaten! Fluffy and with a delicious crunch around the edges. I wish we lived closer so I could enjoy them every weekend!
My two friends & I attended a late lunch here at the inn. We sat on the porch, which was lovely. There was a cooling breeze & a fair directly across the street that we got to watch. Had the fair not been there, we would’ve had an amazing view of the water. I ordered the Fried Green Tomato Scallops & my friends both got a lobster roll w/ fries. The food was good. I ordered the Porch Sippa cocktail, which was really good. The staff was nice.
I didn't stay here but I/we ate at the restaurant on 2 different occasions. Food was delish both times. I got the crabcake sandwich one time (yum) and apple maple french toast (?) the next, both very good. One friend got fish and chips and kept saying "mmmm" with every bite, declaring it fresh and excellent after clearing her plate. Two other friends got veggie burger and omlette and agreed we should visit again. We sat inside one time and out the other, both enjoyable. Waitstaff are very nice, attentive and do a good job. Street parking but not bad. Wheelchair access through back and into dining room. Directly across from Shipyard Park so nice easy access if attending an event there.
I had dinner here 3 times while visiting last week. I loved the wide variety of beer on tap. I had a hamburger, fish and chips and a house (chicken) burrito. I had 2 beers each time and all were good. Most nights the Inn has live music. The menu is small but ever item was great. The prices are medium expensive. Nice atmosphere & friendly staff.
We always have a great time. Good service, very friendly. There is always something different and fresh on the menu. It is not your average small town restaurant... yes, the locals go there but the history and the atmosphere attract people from all over. The entertainment is always a lot of fun. And you can't beat the Sunday brunch sitting on the porch with a Bloody Mary.
I had the chance to visit this location's newly renovated porch, and on top of the great location with pier side parking, the food was excellent. I will definitely be back to try other fares from the American style menu, but I am not sure how long I will be able to wait. Well done, Inn on the Shipyard!
What an awesome St. Patrick’s Day at the Inn! Great service and food ( as always). The smash burgers and fish and chips were raved about from our large party. You know we will be back!
The food was excellent, but I really wanted to give our server, Danielle, a shout out for excellent service. She took the time to go through the menu with me, gave me her honest opinion on the best dishes, and gave us the perfect amount of attention—not too much, not too little. Really great experience here.
We visited, and were celebrating my wifes birthday, when she had a medical emergency near the end of our visit. The staff at The Inn were outstanding, and before I even had time to think, and ambulance and 5 EMT's were standing beside me taking care of my wife. We managed to finish our dinner before this and it was outstanding. The food was perfectly prepared, outstanding in quality, the staff were terrific, culminating with our server somehow knowing exactly when to appear and when not to. I have known about this restaurant for a while and have always wanted to visit and it was absolutely worth the wait. We will definitely be back, hopefully with less drama.
New owners, same standard. My favorite restaurant in the Tri-Town. Food, service and ambience were top notch. Music always slays, too. My son and I left with huge smiles on our faces; we had such a great dinner.
Went here two nights while sailing to and from Block Island. Our server Bridget both nights was fabulous!!! She provided great service with a great personality! We loved her and the food and ambiance of the front porch to return!!
Went for Thanksgiving. The food was very good, the baked stuffed shrimp was the stand out of the meal. Service was very good.
We were there for lunch for the first time. We found the service and the quality of the food fantastic. We doubley lucked out when we were finished with lunch we walked across the street to the park and gazebo and found a Independence day concert. It was great.
Great place to eat. Visited on a busy Friday in August 2024 (sorry for the late review) Great food, staff friendly and a good atmosphere.
Excellent experience from start to finish! The empanadas as an app were fantastic. The food , the atmosphere, and the live music were all great. We really enjoy bringing friends down to The Inn for dinner. Highly recommend to all!
I have been here numerous times and was lucky enough to stay in one of the rooms as well! The rooms are nice and comfortable, but let’s talk about the restaurant! The service is great from the bartenders, servers, hostess and the owners! They have incredible drinks and food, all at a reasonable price. If you haven’t been, you need to run there, not walk!
Really enjoyed dinner at the Inn on Shipyard Park. We tried the smash burger - which was cooked to perfection - and the fish and chips - which was huge and delicious. The Inn restaurant is really cute; it looks like they completely redid the entire building and did a fantastic job! I wish we could have sat on the porch out front and had a water front view but the place was packed! Instead we sat towards in the back in the bar area where tables were first come, first served. Highly recommend this place and hope to be back soon to try other things on the menu.
The food was great. We had the clam chowder, which was delicious, with a slight lemony flavor which we loved. Creamy, buttery and smooth. We also got the blackened salmon soft tacos, and the sweet and spicy chicken sandwich, both of which were very good. Service was prompt and friendly. We sat on the front porch which had nice water views. Lastly, we were pleased with the ample parking in back. We were there for lunch on a weekday.
Food was really good. A little expensive, but the portions were big and well displayed. Keep in mind the menu is a little "exotic". Everything has some type of additional garnish, hot pepper etc. Take a look at the menu before going!
Group of friends met at the restaurant and bar in the afternoon. The staff set up tables together for the group of us. Plenty of food and beverages, including alcohol. The Inn is across the street from the water, the Atlantic. At other times they have plenty of live musical entertainment. Clean and quaint , restrooms on same floor. Good food with culinary flare. Handicap parking in lot behind the Inn with a ramp and 2 doors that are not automated. Waitresses were friendly and responsive. Very lovely area . Enjoy!
Quaint, small town New England feel. Great spot for lunch!
Regular eggs benny was sooo good. A little heavy on the hollandaise sauce but it was still tasty nonetheless 👌 everyone at our table was satisfied with the brunch
This is a restaurant. Only thing surprised me was the fish wasn't beer battered and I was not told it was english style, had i known i would have changed my order. My wife's meal was cold. But app was great and they have a killer burger. the service a 10 and atmosphere is fantastic
Great food! Reasonably priced for the quality. Unfortunately parties of 5 or more are primarily hosted in the Blue Room, which we found to be too loud to have a conversation at the table.
The restaurant was disappointing (Winter menu). Boring entree selection. The Beef Bolognese was a huge miss. The pasta was chewy and burnt and there was barely any beef with a few slivers of tasteless cheese. Basically American Chop Suey that needed salt. We really enjoyed the clam chowder and my husband liked his fish 'n chips, but overall not memorable. I think if I came here again I would get a sandwich and skip the overpriced, lackluster entree items. The atmosphere is nice, but the bar was really loud and the restaurant crammed, it's Winter so it's small inside. But the service was fantastic, friendly, and fast! I think there are better places to go in the area.
Extremely rude older hostess forced me to walk out after placing my order. I was sitting at my table with my wife for about 15 minutes waiting on my appetizer when the same staff member that had initially had greeted me earlier walked up to me, asked for my name and told me that I was sitting at the wrong table and needed to move. Not even a, I am sorry, but we sat you at the wrong table, or we would need to please move you to another table, etc,. She was not apologetic, or sympathetic to the situation, nor cared that I told her that we were leaving as a result of her approach. I had this woman serve me multiple times during Sunday brunch and she was never a polite or friendly wait staff and I always threaded having her serve me. I will never return to this restaurant, nor recommend it. The menu selections are not that great , the food quality not great either and the prices are steep for pub like food!
