Went for dinner at the Little Clam. Excellent food, drinks and service. Oxtail burger was outstanding and the Old Fashion with Makers was the best I have had in quite some time. Add great service, friendly and accommodating and a nice nautical vibe and you have a winner. Prices were also very good for the quality of the dishes. We will definitely be back.

We LOVED our stay at Wayfinder Newport! The lobby, restaurant and cafe were picturesque & cozy. Food & lattes were hot & delish. Every staff member was friendly & polite (shoutout to my fellow cat lover Darcy at the cafe!!). The room was pristine, adorable and comfy. It's about a 5-10 min drive into the city of Newport, $8-$10 uber ride. My boyfriend and I would love to move to this quaint, whimsical little city. Next time we visit, we will most certainly be staying at the Wayfinder again :) !!!!!

We had an AMAZING stay at Wayfinder Newport. Shelly at the front desk was the Best! I wish every hotels I go have a front desk like Shelly. Room was perfect, location was great, only 7 mins away from Wharf and downtown. Definitely going back there again.

We had a great experience at Wayfinder. Shelley was an incredible warm welcome at reception. The bartenders Ben and Mike made excellent espresso martinis. The rooms were clean and cute with great amenities. We had a very memorable stay!

I had a lovely stay at the Wayfinder during the off-season! The food at the Little Clam was delicious and I enjoyed a daily latte from the cafe. It was honestly the staff that made the stay extra pleasant. I’m looking forward to my next visit!

We almost didn’t stay here due to all the reviews but we were so glad we followed our hearts to the Wayfinder in Newport. Fro. The moment we were greeted by “T” at bell station we knew we were in for a great stay. We stayed 5 nights and after T brought up our luggage, he offered to bring us anything we were missing and in about 5 minutes flat he delivered us a microwave and extra bedding. We chose the King parlor room and were so impressed with the layout and decor. It was very clean and new feeling and had a great cozy bed and 2 TVs! The bath products were so good, we bought some to take home. The staff is made up of students from all over the world and they were eager to please. I was so happy to get a great iced coffee each morning made by “T”. He’s a multi talented employee! I met a nice guy from Turkey at the pool bar but have forgotten his name. The restaurant “the little Clam” was super cute and had a great menu. The pool was cold so we didn’t swim but we chilled on the deck with our coffee. The hallways were quiet and the elevators were quick. I liked the location, very peaceful with a view of the bridge. The only thing I would change is that we were told about discounts to all the activities in the area too late, we had already booked our activities. So whoever answered the phones when we booked could have offered.

I don’t know why people are hating on this lovely, boutique hotel. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with little touches that made it extra special (e.g, cute postcard for guests, delightfully scented soaps and shampoo/conditioner, etc.). The lobby area was super welcoming and nicely decorated. The restaurant/bar had amazing service and a great selection of fresh foods and fun beverages (we were given vouchers for two free drinks). Would definitely stay here again!

Honestly surprised by the negative reviews here! We stayed here for one night and really enjoyed our stay. Hotel was clean, cool, and well decorated and staff was friendly. We could hear some noise from the hallway but it wasn’t bad.

I had such a wonderful experience at the Wayfinder! The room was cute and the bed was really comfortable. I loved the pool, as well! It was a bit of a drive into Newport so it might be tricky if you didn’t have a car. Overall, I would highly recommend to friends and family!

What a great visit! My daughter and I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff truly went above and beyond—everyone from the gentleman behind the bar to the breakfast café workers and the concierge at the desk added thoughtful touches that made our stay special. Our room was clean, comfortable, and just what we needed. The only small downside was that the TV guide option didn’t work in our room, and there was no Netflix access, which we’ve enjoyed at other hotels for my daughter. Aside from that, everything was fantastic. We will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Newport!

We had such a wonderful stay at The Wayfinder in Newport! A special shoutout to Devin at the concierge desk—he truly made our experience memorable. From the moment we arrived, he was so warm, welcoming, and full of energy. His genuine helpfulness and attention made us feel right at home, and it set the tone for the rest of our stay. We’re already looking forward to coming back, thanks in large part to his hospitality!

Our King Of Hearts Band played at Belle Mer in Newport RI this weekend and we always need a room for our band members that are coming down from New Hampshire! Wayfinder is the new "Go-To" for us! Quick and easy check-in process and comfy stay!

We had a very nice stay. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. We had a few minor issue's, but once we told the staff they were very quick and professional and polite to fix the problem. They went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. We would definitely stay here again.

We recently stayed at The Wayfinder in Newport, RI for a little getaway we planned specifically for our dog, and it ended up being one of the best experiences we've ever had. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed—Charlotte at the front desk even gave us treats for our pup, which was such a sweet touch. The hotel itself has the most charming decor—beachy with a hint of Wes Anderson flair, which I absolutely loved. It felt stylish yet cozy, with thoughtful design details throughout. It’s also incredibly dog-friendly, with plenty of grassy areas for walks, which made things so easy and relaxing for us. The entire space was clean and inviting, and every staff member we interacted with was kind and helpful. The barista made wonderful coffee and was super friendly—such a great way to start the day. Another thing we appreciated was the location. It’s close enough to downtown to get to everything quickly, but private and peaceful enough that our dog didn’t get overstimulated. This trip was really special to us because it was all about creating memories with our pup, and The Wayfinder helped make that happen. We’ll definitely be back and will be recommending it to friends and family!

The hotel was clean and very comfortable, and designed very nicely! Our room was large and perfectly comfortable. We had breakfast and it was the best breakfast food I’ve had at any hotel ever! It’s fine dining but very approachable and delicious.

My experience at this hotel was, for the most part, great! The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. It's located right off the bridge which was convenient for me as I was in town visiting my son at URI. My only complaint is that there is not a designated area of the hotel for guests traveling without pets. I could hear another guest's dog barking at times throughout my stay which was not ideal. To their credit, the front desk staff did say they would have gladly moved me to another room if I had let them know, but as I was only there for 2 nights, it wasn't worth it for me. It would be nice if they had an area of the hotel that was just for people traveling without pets, as the property is big enough to accommodate. This will honestly make me think twice about booking here again, unfortunately. Otherwise it was a great stay!

C

The view from our room was lovely! We saw the sunset, the bridge and it was lit up at night time. We were very comfortable there and pleased with the hotel and service. Additionally, parking was easy and lots of great restaurants and close to grocery stores in the area.

I wish we stayed longer and would definitely come back (we did 2 nights last minute). I was a little hesitant because of some of the negative reviews, but the service was great and everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was spotless as was the rest of the hotel. There were ice water pitchers, great snacks at the pool, and had a great drink from the bar. I also appreciated all of the common spaces but didn’t get to hang since we did a short trip. It was a 7 min drive to downtown, Bowen’s Wharf which was perfect for us. The pool was also clean and comfortable. We were there during the week so it wasn’t super crowded and we were able to use the cushioned chaises. There were more kids than expected but don’t fault the hotel, and I loved that it was dog friendly. There was no sign of dog hair or anything else. Great vibe and can’t wait to come back when

We loved our stay at the Wayfinder. It was our second year at the hotel and everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The employee Zee in particular was wonderful to interact with and an asset to their establishment. She made us feel warm and invited like we were home. Looking forward to our next trip back to Newport soon!

B
Bri Sutherland

Conveniently located hotel at a great price! Staff was friendly and helpful from check in to check out. Zee at the front desk was especially lovely! Plenty of parking, bikes to use freely to explore locally is a fun touch. Room was clean, very well decorated and bed was comfy. Would stay here again and certainly recommend to others

Stayed at Wayfinder Newport during folk fest weekend and it was the perfect jumping off point to a lovely weekend in town. The rooms were clean + nice, the staff was very welcoming, and the amenities were top notch. The Little Clam restaurant was incredibly delicious and the lobby cafe was perfect for snack and coffee throughout the stay. Rented free bikes one day to explore Newport, there's a bike path from the hotel directly to downtown. Loved having access to the pool during hot summer days. Overall I recommend this hotel and will be back in the future!

Simply put we will be returning soon, even though it is off the beaten path it is worth it for the clean rooms, great food and drinks. We highly recommend the dinner and bar there. We have eaten at many good restaurants through out the area and this is at the top. All the staff were nothing short of great and helping.

This is 5-10 minutes outside of downtown Newport. Wow..this quaint spot has absolutely everything...from a gorgeous foyer to professionalism workers at every level. No complaints. Special regards to Adriane, her courteous demeanor and empathy went above and beyond. I will absolutely be coming back to this hotel. Outstanding! Daniel

This was an amazing stay. We stayed here for a clean, large premium king room. The decor was beautiful and the staff was excellent. The bed & pillows were especially comfortable.

Lisa and Jamar at the front desk were very helpful. Service overall was excellent. Superb dinner. Trendy attractive makeover of a generic motel. Short drive from downtown. Lively in lobby and dining/bar area. Dog friendly. Try to get the best room you can. Upper floors without carpet recommended.

My daughter and I loved our stay here! The hotel was clean, modern and comfy - everything we needed for a great trip. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the location was perfect to explore Newport and hop on a ferry to Block Island for the day. Highly recommend!!

We stayed at Wayfinder Hotel while attending a Navy OCS graduation in Newport, RI, and our experience was outstanding. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. All of the staff were wonderful, but Shelly at the front desk truly went above and beyond. She made us feel like family and provided the best customer service I have ever experienced at any hotel or resort. When we asked if there was a microwave available to warm our tea, Shelly immediately contacted Mike from maintenance. Mike personally delivered a microwave to our room and even tested it to ensure it was fully operational before leaving. This level of attentiveness and service is rare. Shelly sets the gold standard for hospitality, and Mike’s help was equally appreciated. Our stay made an already meaningful trip even more memorable. Highly recommend this hotel—we will absolutely stay here again.

What a great place. The staff is friendly. The lobby is clean and very modern, yet nautical. Got to the room, and it was ready for relaxation. Clean, and everything worked great. It's nice when it works so well....towels, lights, A/C, pressure. No need to call the front desk here for anything. Plenty of close parking as well. I would definitely go back. Cheers Chris

I loved this hotel! We went for a cozy off-season weekend trip and had the most amazing time. The rooms were well-designed, spotless, bright and airy. We also found our room to be quiet. The restaurant was amazing and the brunch was so great we went two days in a row. The best part of our stay was Shelley, a hotel employee. whose kindness and warmth made us feel so very welcome. It’s great to see how the Wayfinder has breathed so much life into a hotel space that has existed for so long. We can’t wait to come back when the weather is warmer!!!

I was just in town for a work meeting and stayed a few nights at the Wayfinder in off season. What a treat! We had some delicious small bites at the Little Clam upon arrival, and chef personally delivered us a dish and highlighted the ingredients. We had wonderful conversations with both Diana + Shelly who really made us feel welcomed as if we were in their home. The coffee is great in the morning, and a glass of wine at the end of the night with Bartender Kurt is even better. The rooms and restaurant are beautiful, the hotel is filled with thoughtful details + staffed with great people. Very impressed, looking forward to next time.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at this hotel, and from start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. The lobby was stunning—bright, modern and beautifully decorated with all local art. My room was spotless, beautifully designed, and equipped with every amenity I could possibly need. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, the linens crisp and fresh, and the view from the window was breathtaking. The service here truly sets this hotel apart. Every staff member I encountered went above and beyond—friendly, professional, and genuinely attentive without ever being intrusive. The amenities were equally impressive: a pristine pool made for a relaxing atmosphere refreshing and enjoyable. The on-site dining options were top-notch, with delicious dishes and flawless presentation. The location is perfect with easy access to Thames Street and beautiful beaches. Overall, this hotel is a perfect blend of comfort, luxury, and outstanding service. I left feeling relaxed, cared for, and already eager to return. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable and five-star experience!

Mom & daughter overnight at The Wayfinder Newport This was our second stay at The Wayfinder, and it was just as perfect as the first. Super clean, cute, and effortlessly trendy, with a price that feels more than fair for the quality and experience. The only reason it didn’t earn five stars for location is that it’s not in Newport proper, but for us that didn’t matter—we day-tripped all over town and needed a vehicle anyway. The free parking was a huge plus. We loved how convenient it is to everything we wanted to do, along with the amenities that made the stay even easier. A cozy, stylish home base for a special getaway together.

While not in Newport downtown, for this trip that wasn't an issue. The room was very clean, staff very friendly & responsive, food & drink were good. The "boutique" styling was attractive and generally comfortable. Only 2 things were negatives - first, there were no drawers/flat storage in the guest rooms, just a small hanging rack (no closet), as others also noted. Additionally, anywhere near a window on the first floor - whether guest room or at the cafe & conference area - was very cold and drafty, even with the heat turned up. I didn't hear the same issue from friends on a different guest floor. I will absolutely look forward to staying there again in spite of that, because of the positive aspects.

This hotel is a gem. It's chic and clean, but older. It smelled stale in the hallways and elevator. The rooms are very clean and smell fine. The beds are fabulous. Being a boutique hotel, a signature fragrance throughout would take this place to the next level! They could also use furniture and decor on the hotel's different floors. It felt a bit isolated once I stepped out of the elevator onto my floor. I checked in at 1:30 am, and the two men working the front desk made me feel comfortable and safe. The desk staff on the day shift went above and beyond to provide me with information about Newport, including a great map. They also helped us by storing our luggage so we could eat at the restaurant after checking out. The restaurant was amazing!! I ate there for breakfast one morning and again for lunch the next day. The food was exceptional and super fresh! The cost was even better! I was shocked it wasn't buiser than it was. It's the best-kept secret! The wait staff was great! The bartender working the PM shift was so friendly and knowledgeable about Newport. His drinks were delicious, and it was a great time.

The rooms and amenities are clean and very nicely decorated. The hotel is about a 10 minute drive from Thames street, as well as the mansions, so be prepared to drive or uber. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you Tee for all of your assistance!

When you drive up, it looks like you're about to get into an old school motel - but once you go in the lobby, and rooms it's really nicely re done. The concept and decor is a 1950s modern chic. The rooms are nice, they have Roku and MULTIPLE outlets (which is always great). The bar was cute, but they were out of the majority of the beers, only had IPAs. Pool area looks weird from the outside, but it's really cute once you get there. Chairs and pool area was new, and clean. There's a snack bar at the pool! Cafe was overpriced. Didn't get to eat at the restaurant, but it was cute.

Overall our hotel stay was fine, just depends what you want in a hotel. The Wayfinder has some great pluses but also some negatives Pros: Great central location, bar is great, and gym is top tier for a hotel. If you like design you can tell they put a lot of money in design so you got to give them credit for that. Rooms were fairly clean Cons: Not paying attention to details. A bath wouldn’t work in our room because it was broken and they couldn’t fix it during our stay. We have a toddler so it was a pain doing night time routine. AC didn’t work properly, screws missing in door frame causing loose pieces… They also skipped a day of room service for our room which is pretty unacceptable for a room over $200 a night. Like I said not the worst but if they fixed the details it would have been a 5 star experience with the design

K
Karin K

The hotel is in a great location to the main downtown of Newport. The beds are comfortable and the front desk staff is very nice. The pool area is pretty, but the pool itself is cold. The air conditioning unit in the room is extremely loud. The cleaning staff is not detail-oriented at all. They never refilled our coffee pods our entire stay of 6 nights. We asked the front desk, but they brought the wrong pods that did not fit our coffee machine. I don't think they cleaned the shower our entire stay as there was soap on the door they never cleaned and they didn't see the shower gel in the bathroom was empty. And they would some days leave us 2 waters and other days forget. Although I would consider staying here again, if it's definitely NOT a 4-star hotel.

B
Ben

Overall it was a great experience staying here. It feels like a budget motel that was remodeled into an instagrammable oasis. The restaurant is absolutely incredible. The pool area is nice. The rooms are basic but clean and well decorated. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Some things are a little quirky and inconvenient. There’s only one elevator in the lobby and it goes to floor 2 but it turns out that we were actually on a floor that’s more like 1 1/2 and we ended up standing in front of a fight of stairs with a bell cart. Friendly staff immediately jumped into help but it was an odd experience.

I understand lodging in Newport is expensive and I’m ok with paying more IF the accommodations ARE more. However, I’m disappointed and have to call our experience with this hotel simply overpriced for what it is. The hallways and our room have a “basement feel”. The hallways have exposed Ethernet cable running along the top of the walls. The room has sloppy paint marks, stained shower tile, the toilet paper holder hanging precariously from the wall, and a few carpet stains. Maybe the additional $25 “resort fee” everyone is charged can be put towards needed upgrades. I will say it was clean, the front desk staff was pleasant, and the restaurant excellent.

I just came back from staying at the wayfinder for the past 3 days. When I booked the room I booked a queen suite with 2 adults and 2 children. I was traveling with my friend and her 2 kids. We figured the suite would be good for the kids that we all had room. When we got there the room was perfect. Size was more than we expected. Went into the bathroom and noticed we only had 2 towels. How are 4 people showering with 2 towels? On our way out for the evening we stopped at the front desk and requested extra towels. Hours later we return to no towels. We pull out the pull out bed for the kids and no sheets. I tried calling down to the front desk and our phone doesn’t work. I walk down to the front desk from the 2nd floor and told them our phone doesn’t work and we need extra towels that I requested hours ago and sheets for the pull out couch, they also gave me a card with a direct # to the front desk. They told me they would send someone. The 2nd day no issues. 3rd day was a disaster. Woke up hot after changing thermostat a million times to 68 but kept the room at 73. We left for the day and I called the front desk while we were out requesting housekeeping to straighten up our room and if we can get fresh towels. After being out all day we came back and went straight to the pool. After the pool we head up to take showers for dinner and the room was never cleaned and not 1 clean towel for a shower. I called the front desk from my cell phone and no answer. I called a 2nd time and again no answer. I walk downstairs to request fresh towels and why my room wasn’t cleaned after I requested it hours ago. Mentioned also the thermostat not working. They gave me towels and sent maintenance to our room. Maintenance came popped the vents off the cover of the ac unit and we had cold air finally. Had to find housekeeping in the hall for more conditioner since ours was empty since day 1. Morning of check out we noticed there was no extra rolls of toilet paper in the bathroom and we had none left. I have never stayed at a hotel that had such horrible housekeeping service. This would have been a 5 star review if all of these issues didn’t occur in such a short visit.

For the summer price point , we were quite disappointed with our stay at the Wayfinder. I must say, they do a good job with marketing because I definitely had higher expectations of a bright and airy coastal hotel. although there were some cosmetic/aesthetic changes to the rooms like nicer tile in the bathroom, cute furniture, etc., it still felt like being in a motel. We had to take stairs to our room which was no problem it was just a couple flights but the stairway felt dark and dingy and was not inviting. The thermostat in our room wouldn’t change the temperature to our liking and stayed at 75 degrees. Overall, stay was ok but definitely expected more especially for how much it was per night. The biggest thing for me is the atmosphere and it just felt sad and as if they just put a pretty bandaid over things

M
Megan Gray

When checking in we were then notified our room had no elevator access to our 3rd floor room and it was slightly confusing how to find the room, though a map was given. Luckily my husband was able to bring up our suitcases but if I had been by myself I have several physical injuries that would have made this challenging. This should be disclosed prior especially for those with disabilities of any degree. Hotel room was relatively clean. There was no place to set toiletries in the shower and the grout in the shower was not entirely sanitary. Water temp and pressure fine. Doors in the room had chipping. Pillows caused my husband and i to have awful neck pain the next day. Bed was comfortable, tv worked effectively, in being on the 3rd floor it was quiet. Ac worked fine. No other problems with check in/check out. Location was out of city but just a short drive in, conveniently located near shops and gas stations.

T

I wanted to like it. The location is across from closed casino. Finding room in involved going up and down ramps, door was. Exhausting with luggage. Found it much easier to exit lobby and drive to nearest door. Unlocked at least during day. Room clean, beds ok. Electrical outlets all my chargers would fall out of, strange! Staff pleasant. Food expensive and not great. This wouldn't be my first choice but it's ok

We recently stayed at this hotel and, while we generally enjoyed our time, there was one issue that really put a damper on the experience. When we checked in, we noticed something pretty gross—there were boogers wiped across the crown molding above the headboard in our room. Definitely not something you expect to see. We understand that housekeeping might miss something in a hard-to-see spot like that, but we reported it to the front desk right away and followed up twice more over the next 24 hours. Unfortunately, no one ever came to clean it, so we ended up taking care of it ourselves. We let staff know afterward, but the lack of follow-through was disappointing. At checkout, someone did waive the Urban Destination Fee for the first night, which we appreciated, but honestly, the response felt a bit indifferent overall. No real apology, no sense that the issue was taken seriously—it just left us feeling like our concern didn’t matter much. It’s a shame because the hotel has a lot going for it, but this situation really affected how we feel about coming back or recommending it to others. Hopefully, others have a better experience, but for us, it was a letdown.

M
Ms. Cohen

The room itself was nicely designed and comfortable, but unfortunately, the noise level made it impossible to get a good night's sleep. We could clearly hear every step from the room above us and constant foot traffic in the hallway throughout the night. It wasn’t just our room — friends staying down the hall had the same issue. For a hotel that seems to position itself as a relaxing getaway, this was incredibly frustrating. If you're looking for a peaceful or restful stay, I would not recommend the Wayfinder.

F
Forrest Hardy

The hotel itself is nice, I have stayed here several times. However, Wayfinder now seems to be charging a “destination fee” of $25 upon checkout. While this was mentioned when we checked in, it was described a single fee to pay for the amenities such as the pool, rental bikes, etc. We come to find out at checkout that it is a daily fee and has added over $100 to our bill at checkout. This wasn’t disclosed when we booked and wasn’t a charge in years past, so it was a surprise to us.

H
Honey Bunny

Wow whatever happened to honesty. We checked out. Not only 10 mins into drive we called about the jacket we left. The young lady was going to get it and put in lost and found. I called twice was told The jacket was not in lost in found. I even filed the claim to iforgotmystuff! I guess some staff member liked the jacket. Disappointed. Wont stay here again. Not honest. Oh our last night 2 am doors slamming adults kids running up and down the hallway.

This was meant to be a relaxing weekend trip while visiting colleges with my son. After a lot of research, I chose the Wayfinder and our first night was honestly wonderful. The room was larger than expected, stylishly decorated, spotless, and shockingly quiet. Anyone who stays in hotels often knows how rare that is. No hallway noise, no slamming doors. It felt peaceful and restful, exactly what we needed. Unfortunately, the second night could not have been more different. After a long day of college tours, we returned to the hotel after dinner hoping to unwind before an early drive home. Instead, there was a loud party happening in the room next to us. When I stepped into the hallway to locate the noise, I found two women holding balloons, waiting to surprise a birthday guest. When I mentioned the noise to the front desk, the response was essentially that they were already aware and had seen the balloons come in. I was told they would keep an eye on the situation, but 30 minutes later the noise was still going strong. I knocked on the neighboring door to politely ask them to be mindful of the very thin walls. When the door opened, the smell of marijuana was overwhelming. I returned to my room and called the front desk again to explain what was happening. Their solution was to slide a note under the door asking the guests to stop. Shortly after that, I went into the bathroom and realized the smell of weed had made its way into our room. At that point, we decided to pack up and leave rather than spend the night surrounded by noise and smoke. I understand marijuana is legal in Rhode Island, and I fully respect people wanting to enjoy themselves. It just was not what I expected or wanted during our stay. The front desk clerk was kind and did what she could within the limits of the situation, and the two stars I am giving are for the excellent first night and for her professionalism. That said, I would not return and cannot recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet or restful stay. If, however, you are looking for a hotel that doubles as a party spot, the Wayfinder may be exactly what you want.

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was not up to standard. The bathroom was quite dirty, with noticeable stains on the walls and door. The ceiling paint above the shower was bubbling, which gave the space a neglected feel. The hallway noise was excessive at times, it genuinely felt like other guests were inside our room due to the lack of soundproofing. While the room decor was modern and stylish, the overall lighting was poor and made the space feel dim and unwelcoming. Given the price point, I expected a much higher level of cleanliness and comfort. I would not recommend this property to others.

J

We booked our stay at the Wayfinder Hotel nearly five months in advance, expecting a comfortable and accessible experience. Unfortunately, it’s been frustrating from the start. Upon check-in, we were informed that our room was located in the farthest possible corridor of the property, with no elevator access—a fact that was never disclosed at the time of booking. This alone raises serious concerns about ADA compliance. My wife suffers from a chronic knee injury and back issues, making access to our room difficult and painful. Despite informing the front desk, we were told that no alternative rooms were available and that canceling would incur a penalty, even though we hadn’t yet entered the room. We requested to speak with a manager twice and were denied each time, receiving no meaningful assistance or accommodation. Customer service was entirely unresponsive and dismissive of our concerns. On top of that, the room and hallways were in unacceptable condition. There were visible stains across the carpets and general filth throughout the facility, making the property feel more like a neglected hostel than a hotel. The hotel’s handling of accessibility, customer service, and cleanliness was completely unacceptable, and I would not recommend this property to anyone—especially those with any kind of mobility concern.

Do you love - hotels that don’t answer when you contact them? Hotels that say they offer housekeeping but never clean your room? Hotels that say they will bring you towels but take multiple follow ups over 2 days to get them? Hotels that lack accessibility and transparency regarding how completely inaccessible they are for disabilities? Then this place is for you! I didn’t receive housekeeping on either day I was here. (Even though it was brought to their attention after the first day). I returned my dirty towels after the first night, then didn’t have any towels at all for the next two days since they kept saying they would bring them and never did. I contacted the hotel prior to my stay with questions, but never received a response. Most importantly, this hotel is absolutely atrocious for disabilities and not accessible AT ALL. This was not written anywhere and came as a complete surprise for me when I arrived as a guest with a Disability. The entire hotel is one giant maze, and it takes way too long to get from the front entrance to your room. The hotel has an elevator, so I assumed that the hotel would be accessible. This is completely wrong. Although it has an elevator, there are many sets of (not automatic) doors and steps between the elevator and your room. While I am not wheelchair bound, I have difficulty walking long distances and using stairs. I find this lack of transparency extremely ableist and inappropriate to be hidden from guests.

Booked and paid for a queen suite. Room description stated separate living room area with divider . Upon checking in, that’s not the room that I received. I was told they don’t have that room available. Spoke with the manager Charlotte the next day and she told me that is the suite I did review with her they need to change their descriptions on their website buyer beware.

3 weeks after a snowstorm and they have still not cleared their sidewalks. Called the office and let them know, basically told me yea maybe we'll do something. They're legally required by law to clear the snow. I see people who need to use the bus stop on the corner having to walk in the middle of a road with a semi-blind turn because the admins here won't do the bare minimum that's legally required of them.

We paid $1655 for two nights. On the second morning, I set my alarm and got up early for Sunday morning yoga by the pool, as advertised. No one was there. When I asked at the front desk, they said it hadn’t happened for the past few weeks. No one apologized. I suggested that it may be a good idea to take down the sign that has August dates listed for morning yoga. This was honestly the last straw for us. This is a party hotel, the walls are super thin. We had to listen to the drunk people above us coming home and stomping around loudly at 1am every night. The hallways were equally noisy and you could hear everything - loud talking throughout the night, doors slamming. I did not sleep well either night, and I live in the heart of Boston - I am accustomed to city noise and neighbors. There were 3+ bachelorette parties at the pool both days, taking photos for hours on end that we were in without our consent. Wedding parties congregating in the halls. If you are looking to relax and recharge, this is not the place for you. This is an overpriced party hotel with 2 star service and some nice photo backdrops.
