The whole experience from beginning to end is always a pleasure ♥️. The wait staff is so attentive and accommodating... You won't want for anything and their timing is impeccable! The food has been delicious Everytime I've been there and will def go back again and again. The surroundings are soothing and pretty. Great for date night or afternoon lunch with sis. I've never had enough room for dessert, but I have seen them walk by with those tasty treats!

It was my first time visiting this establishment. The staff was friendly and our server,Guy, was excellent. The food was amazing. After looking around it was difficult to pick what I wanted. I will definitely be coming back and I highly recommend!

The Aviary was delicious. We went to some local craft fairs and googled breakfast/brunch the Aviary was one of the few choices for 12:30 Sunday brunch and luckily for us it was terrific. The eggs where perfectly poached the hollandaise sauce had the right amount of lemon in it the veggie omelet was perfectly cooked the eggs where light and fluffy and the combination of avocado and goat cheese gave it a wonderful creaminess. The only disappointment was the California roll up made with deli Turkey meat the quality ingredients in everything else made that the definite losers in everything that we ordered. The Bloody Mary's and Mimosas where made perfectly we will definitely be back

Saturday brunch was delicious. Great variety in the menu options, excellent service.

Lori, our server was A M A Z I N G. Sweet, caring, genuine, and warm. Made our first experience be a lasting one. We will definitely come again. This place is a hidden gem. A treasure. Come and enjoy. Just like we did.

I had a lunch date with my husband here. This was our first time here, we were seated outside in the back which is perfectly hidden from the street traffic and excessive wind. Food was fabulous. We got deviled eggs and crab cakes as appetizers, he got the steak sandwich and I got the salmon dish with broccoli and mashed potatoes. The servers were very nice.

Beautiful ambiance starting from the outside with nice outdoor patio furniture to the inside with a nice modern intimate atmosphere. Great menu for seafood lovers! I ordered the Seafood Scampi and it was outstanding. Prices are reasonable with nice portions. Highly recommended.

Went there for drinks and apps 10/10! Bartender was nice and so was the hostess!

This place was AMAZINGGG!!! me and my mom went there for dinner and Lori was our waitress she was FANTASTIC we would def go back just cuz her but the food was also SUPER delicious everything was cooked perfectly and the mashed potatoes were super good !! we’re not from here so this was definitely an amazing first experience and we would definitely go back!! Thank you for being amazing Lori and wishing me luck for cheer! We go second place only lost but .3 points for Lime🍋‍🟩🍋‍🟩🥳

The a aviary is a cute pretty and lovely place to go. I think is better for dates and meetings, not that good for the whole family. Prices are normal for a pretty restaurant (like 20 per person) but it worth the experience. I recommend to go there with no issue :)

Great Dinner. This is one of our favorite places. The food is consistently very good.

Had the nicest date night here! The espresso martinis are fantastic and there's a great selection of wines. I highly recommend the deviled egg appetizer and creme brulee for dessert! We sat on rhe patio it was really nice and warm with all the space heaters. Service was great! Will be back soon!

I have been to this restaurant a couple of times. Once pre-pandemic and the other in October 2020. We reserved a table for outdoor dining in October and it was amazing. It was a cool night and we were under a tent with heaters. Great ambiance. Food was excellent. I will definitely be back.

Food was great and the staff was very considerate. First place I've been to that automatically offered to make me a mocktail if I wanted when everyone else in the party was having cocktails. Felt nice!

Our waitress nicole was lovely and the food was to die for. I got the Monte Cristo and it changed my life.

This place is amazing was visiting in the area from Florida went there to join some friends for Sunday brunch the outdoor area is absolutely breathtaking! The food was incredible how to watermelon salad that was absolutely perfect. Are waitress whose name was Hannah was friendly and very very efficient. I plan on making this a stop every time that we are in Massachusetts.

What a great dinner! Lori was our server and she was the best! It was our first time eating there and she gave us excellent service! So friendly and welcoming we will definitely go back! The drinks were delicious and food awesome!

We recently hosted our company dinner meeting at The Aviary Gatherings in the Meadowlark Room, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Our event coordinator, Emma, was absolutely amazing – she went above and beyond to help coordinate every detail of the evening to accommodate our wants and needs. We’ve hosted in this same room before, and once again we were impressed by the warm, rustic vibe that makes it such a unique setting. The food was excellent, the service was smooth, and having a dedicated bar plus direct access to the outdoor patio made the space feel extra special for our group of about 40 guests. We truly appreciate the effort and care the staff put into making our evening seamless and enjoyable. Highly recommend The Aviary Gatherings for any event – we’ll definitely be back again!

6/23 The Aviary in Swansea Ma. Lunch for 3 people, seated inside. Outside seating was packed upon arrival. Food choices today included RI Calamari w/peppers, Marinara sauce and pan cooked in oil. Another had a grand salad, described as tasty and delicious. Lastly we all shared a Fig and Brie pizza, covered in prosciutto and arugula on a thinly grilled pie. The food came out quickly and during meal the server was checking in off and on. Very good experience. We will come back.

Food was good and the service was great. I ordered the steak tips for lynch, a bit under medium rare and not quite as hot as I would have liked. The wings and cauliflower appetizers were tasty.

Very fancy place from my perspective. However don't let it discourage you from going, my co worker and I showed up in shorts and t-shirts and got served. We had no idea how fancy this place was prior to getting there. The food was good and filling. Nothing bad or great about it.

I ordered the fig and brie pizza. I love that it was thin and crispy. The cheese felt a little skimpy and the pizza had some burnt pieces. Still good enough for me to finish the whole thing lol my friend ordered the lobster sandwich which was ok. The Cole slaw was a bit too sour for him but fries were perfect. The staff was friendly and the environment is lovely. The complimentary bread and butter was yummy. I'd like to come back and try brunch. I hope they bring their tacos back.

My family and I just tried out the new menu! Mixed feelings, short rib dish was very tasty especially the corn purée but it was too thin so difficult to scoop up with fork. Would have preferred if it was served with soft polenta with a touch of the corn purée. Not a big dish for someone with a big appetite! The airline chicken was very disappointing, it was bone in chicken breast and a very soupy sauce. We returned for the Nest Chicken and because we wanted warm chicken instead of cold, they added $10! Bring back the prior lemon chicken, much better. Taco appetizers were just ok, very small portions, not worth it! Service is always very good, reason we have been regular customers here!

Came in for dinner prior to a show at PPAC. Seated promptly, great atmosphere and decorations for the holiday, amazing waitress. Great appetizers (mussels with an amazing sauce and break basket) and that's where it all stopped. Ordered a Steak diner, Salmon dinner, Chicken Marsala, and Turkey Sandwich. For the 3 main entrees all the sides were cold and my steak was stone cold (not even lukewarm) it also arrived without the sauce and they brought over some odd cold hard butter- not at all the bourbon sauce that was suppose to come with the steak. The entire dish from sides to the steak were cold. The others were so hungry and decided to just eat the cold sides as the main part of the dish was at least hot. I sent it back and they brought the same steak back with one less bite (now overcooked and still less than even warm). Sorry for the price I wasn't eating a cold steak and sides, they didn't even attempt to reheat those left them as they were sent back. By this time I had no time to order anything new as we had tickets to a show. Very disappointed, I really wanted to love this place as first time visitors. The Manager did come over at the end and comp the steak (well yeah I had one cold bite) and the appetizer as a good will gesture but leaving hungry was not ideal, sharing an app with 4 people was barely a meal. The waitress and drinks (espresso martini) were great though.

We were there for about two hours, and unfortunately most of that time was spent waiting for our food. Everything took far longer than it should have, especially considering the quality when it finally arrived. The food itself was disappointing. It was obvious some items came from a box/jar/freezer, and dessert was clearly microwaved — it came out so hot in the center that it actually burned my tongue. My husband’s steak was very fatty and over seasoned, and his fries were cold by the time they hit the table. The only bright spot of the evening was our waitress. She was friendly, attentive, and did the best she could. Overall, the kitchen really needs improvement. We were hoping for a much better experience and probably won’t be back.

I now know why the Rookery is crowded but Aviary is not- my salmon smelled very fishy and that and the sweet potatoes seemed steamed and under cooked- almost inedible. I keep trying to like eating here and want it to be better… such a nice environment with great waitstaff- expensive mistake.

The Brisket was very fatty not lean, the mac and cheese was ok but not much flavor! I wouldn't order them again unless they are improved. Service and atmosphere great! We only stopped in for appetizers and cocktails. Hope to come again for better choices !

Plenty of parking. Our table was available at the exact time of our reservation. The clam chowder was just warm, very small portion for the price. The roasted Cod was small, sand in the littlenecks. Never offered coffee or dessert.

The food was lack luster and serverly lacked any real flavor for the price tag, yes the serving sizes were adequate but whats the point of auch a large serving is the food isnt any good? In short, the chef needs to reaquaint themselves with herbs and spices, this is america not England. WE season our food here. Honestly won't be dining here again due to the price vs quality of food.

This was the second time we visited The Aviary. The first time was not planned as we were in the area and stopped in. We enjoyed the food so much that we decided to go again. This was a mistake. I will start with what we liked. We were met by a smiling host and did not have to wait for a table. This is where things start to slide. Our server greeted us and took our drink order about 10 minutes after we were seated. This isn’t such a big deal as we were talking. Drinks came out shortly after and our food order was taken. The soup also came out timely but was just warm. Our server was busy with other tables and the longer we waited the cooler the soup was getting but it was warm enough to eat. The soup bowls sat empty on the table for far too long as bussers and our server went by without picking them up. Entrees were served about 15-20 minutes later. The pork chop, apple compote and butternut squash were barely above room temperature. The mashed potatoes were hot but very dry and pasty. Our server did check on us timely and brought the issues to her attention. She took my late to the kitchen. When the food was returned a few minutes later, the food was not much warmer and I again brought this to our servers attention. She apologized and did offer to warm it further. I declined as my dining partner was waiting to eat their food while I waited for my entree as well as my food would surely dry out with all this heating. My partner had stuffed shrimp which seemed on the smaller side, and the asparagus that were a bit under cooked. At least their mashed potatoes were creamy and hot. Though I am not sure how that happened since mine were dry. Having been in service for many years across three states, I expected a manager to come by the table and at the least apologize for the issue but that did not happen. I am not sure that our server even brought the issue to their attention. Of this had been our experience the first time we visited, we would not have been back. And this visit will be our last. Too bad too because it is an adorable restaurant.

Worst old fashioned I’ve ever had. Muddled fruit and pepsi ice. If you like frat party jungle juice, come on down. The only thing that constitutes this place as a “cocktail bar” is the speak easy lighting.

The flatbread is extremely dry and the service is slow. The waitress gave me wrong information about the menu and when my friend corrected her, she had an attitude. I was charged an unreasonable price for adding prosciutto and they put miserable strips as shown on the picture. I tried to complain but nothing. The atmosphere is cute but not worth it. Expensive and not good. The mojito is terrible, had to ask the bartender to add syrup but it didn’t help much.

Decided to treat myself to brunch, however, my experience was far from a treat. Ordered an omelette, toast, home fries, and sausage. My meal came out in less than 5 minutes, the toast was only toasted on one side, the home fries were well done burnt and cold, the omelette tasted as it was reheated… yikes manger apologized offered to give me a discount and was going to “re-plate” my dish. Again within 5 minutes I was served the same food reheated the toast came out as hard bread. I did not finish the meal.

We walked in and asked for a table for 6 and the woman laughed in our faces even though we looked online and they had available reservations every 15 min for the next hour. Will not be returning to try this place!

Highly disappointing experience - I visited this restaurant hoping for a special Mother's Day celebration with my family, but unfortunately, the experience fell very short of expectations. The problems began with seating arrangements. Despite confirming twice that our extended family’s reservations would be adjacent to our table, this didn't happen. While we were seated on time, our relatives had to wait 20 minutes past their reservation time for a table to open. Service was exceptionally slow and impersonal. Our waitress took 10 minutes just to approach our table, another 10 minutes to bring drinks, and was completely absent throughout our meal. When we ordered appetizers, we waited 20 minutes only to be informed by a busser (not our server) that they were out of calamari. The entree situation was even worse. After ordering, we discovered they were out of three menu items we had tried to select. When our replacement choices finally arrived 45 minutes later, they were completely unacceptable: steaks were ice cold and overcooked, asparagus was practically raw, and side dishes were incorrect (home fries substituted for mashed potatoes without being asked if that was ok or given any warning). When we complained, the manager promised fresh steaks, which arrived drastically undercooked to the point of being "purple rare." Throughout this ordeal, our server never checked on us or our food quality. Our extended family experienced similar issues - they were somehow served the "baked stuffed shrimp" that we were told was unavailable, though with small shrimp instead of the normal size for that dish. They also received missing sides and poorly prepared food. I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere, especially for special occasions. This restaurant failed on every level - reservation management, service, food quality, and basic communication.

Not nice restrooms were not exceptionally clean. Our waitress, seemed not happy to be there ... service painfully slow... Food was meh.. first time there... not going back for mediocre food for such an expensive meal... Maybe they had a bad nite.. you go, you decide, not me... they need toilet paper in the restroom, after this meal...

I don’t know how you charge for bread and then bring it out frozen and burnt at the same time. Food was mediocre at best but, all that our server spoke about was how their chef was so great, put love into it and didn’t allow any substitutions on their new menu. Maybe chilis is a better spot for the “chef”. I love the rookery for lunch so, I’m not sure where the disconnect is for dinner at the aviary since they’re the same establishment. I really like both places I’m hoping that they figure it out.
