Reincarnated "Spaghetti Company" formerly down the street in the 1970s and beloved for its family style Italian classics. Nested in the Holiday Inn, with a gorgeous patio, the even kept the huge wine barrel booths from the original place. Bar area with happy hour. Pastas, salads, chicken, fish, and veal standards. Weekday specials and holiday buffets. The Monday night veal parm special is a great value, with soup, salad, pasta and veal, along with a fried dough desert to top it off.
Everything was very fresh! We had two different types of sauce forthe mussels. I personally liked the red sauce better. Garlic was good. PS, dipp your bread in the sauce you won't be disappointed! The food was really good too! Service was really good as well!
First time trying and it was good - it is adjacent to the Holiday Inn - I tried the Mussels - Stuffed artichokes (not really stuffed just bread crumbs wasn't to pleased)- House salad - Chicken parmigiana - Chicken Marsala They have a happy hour that I will definitely check out
I stayed at the hotel that restaurant is attached to and basically ate here for 4 out of the 5 days I was in town The manager is on top of her game. Servers are great as well. I showed up about 6pm on Friday night and couldn’t get a seat for 30 mins. That tells me the food and service is as good as I thought. I ate the lasagna 3 out of 4 nights and it was fantastic. The 3rd night gave myself a pasta break with the chicken salad, was delicious as wel
Pleasant experience coming here! ☺️ Love the atmosphere 👌 and decor 😍. Their cheese cake 🎂 🥮 was delicious 😋. The cannoli is delectable and dainty. They stuff it with sweet cream and chocolate 🍫 chips 😉
Nice outdoor, Morgan was attentive and gave suggestions for food. I had dish of the day . It was delicious
This was an incredible fun experience we put tables together and the restaurant did not complain we rented a private room it is very clean the food is superbly great and the service is over the top
We had a bereavement luncheon for my mother. Impeccable service, friendly and kind staff and the food...UNBELIEVABLE! Absolutely out of this world. I couldn't reccomend Alfrados, the price and working with Brooke more!
While staying at The Holiday Inn I had dinner at Alfredo’s several times and the food and service were excellent! Highly recommended!
Very good food and excellent service for our party of 8
We went for a funeral luncheon on Saturday. The food was excellent. Their salad had a nice light dressing. Dinner rolls were fresh. Nice garlic infused butter. Penne marinara. Cavatelli alfredo. Even the vegetables were yummy. Then to top it all off their brought out good old fashioned fried dough.
Servers are very friendly and attentive. Food is great and served quickly
Nice restaurant with good dinner options. The food was good and the service was excellent.
Stopped in for lunch, and it was a great place! The service was amazing, our server was unbelievably patient as it took us a while to decide as we were catching up with friends over drinks. But once our food was ordered and arrived I was pleasantly surprised with the portions, more than I could handle but it was all so good! Plan on returning on our next trip to the Cleveland area
We had a large party (16) and the service was fantastic! Megan really took great care of us! All the food was delicious and came out hot! Terry the zucchini appetizer…to die for. The deck area is large and comfortable. Happy hour is a good one and there are bands some nights too. We’ll be back with friends and family soon. Loved it! Highly recommended. This is a local favorite.
I highly recommend this restaurant! I have enjoyed every meal I’ve had there and consistently receive excellent service. It’s a great Italian choice for Sunday sauce. They have the best Lenten Fish Fry around. Clam bakes in the fall are delicious with generous portions. And holiday events like the Mother’s Day brunch are always fun ways to celebrate. Alfredo’s is a delicious, enjoyable choice for any occasion.
Was in town visiting family. Had dinner outside on the patio, enjoying a beautiful evening. Food was great. Service was excellent. Xandra was our server and did a great job. We really enjoyed the music from Justin Geraci while we ate and chatted. I highly recommend the wedding soup. It was by far the best I’ve ever had.
First time there. I would go back. The menu looked interesting.
Atmosphere is open and modern, very clean and bright. Our server was attentive and friendly. Appetizers arrived quickly and were fantastic. Meals have generous portions and delicious. The deserts are presented in a glass display and are just right to satisfy and complete our meal. You won't leave hungry but you will be happy. Great choice for a family get together or intimate dining. Will return often.
I have been coming here for years have had many great meals an service however my past few times very poor service foods been hit or miss the turn over of management staff owners whatever it is obviously on the decline so disappointing
Update:::I love ginger on the breakfast staff, she is very professional, friendly and efficient! She is a true asset to your restaurant!! Thank you Ginger!........I love the breakfast staff on Sundays! I always go in there on Sundays and get the buffet and the ladies are so accommodating keep up the good work I appreciate you ladies and the kitchen staff of course that make it possible!!! Older review::My family and I went last night for my dad's birthday and we had a really amazing server named Tish! She was very accommodating efficient friendly and professional and went the extra mile to keep us happy and we had little kids at our table to who are pretty well-behaved, but still she did a great job and was patient with us and very friendly easy to talk to and went above and beyond! She is a true asset to your restaurant!
The bartender, Jennifer was fantastic!! We were staying in the hotel and she served us at the Bar both times. The mozzarella patties and zucchini was fantastic. Melissa Alexander
Recently attended a celebration of life event in a party room there. Food was great, service was wonderful and video presentation went very well! Have eaten there many times and always love the food. Especially liked hearing Justin Geraci playing and singing on outdoor patio !
My wife and I had our rehearsal dinner here. That was 1998. They catered my daughters' graduation in 2018. The food is always delicious whether catered or in the restaurant. The service is always welcoming and professional. They really know what they're doing and they've been doing it for a long time.
The staff went above and beyond to take care of us. They were close to closing for lunch and still sat us and didn’t rush us while we ate. We later went back to the bar and experienced incredible service and hospitality.
Great food, great service and a wonderful experience for everyone that came as my guests. Morgan was our server and she rocked it the whole night making our experience fun! Brian the manager was very kind and passionate about the restaurant. We will be back!
Service was awesome! The young lady with the short dark brown curly hair was extremely kind and had a very energetic attitude that lightened up the mood. Food was delicious and that is an understatement! The atmosphere was very nice and spacious and had a nice outside area in the back. But I still can’t get over how good the waitress was! Most professional one I’ve seen throughout all of my years dining.
We went to Alfredo’s for the first time last weekend, and we both ordered the clambake with roasted chicken. The meal was superb! This was the best roasted chicken ever, and the clams were sweet and tender. Also, the clam chowder was wonderful. Service was prompt, friendly, and professional. The restaurant was clean and cozy (we sat in a barrel table). We look forward to going back to this hidden gem of a restaurant to try more food! Highly recommend.
Food was pretty good. The service was excellent. They did a massive remodel to this place almost unrecognizable compared to what it used to be. Kinda miss the old nostalgic look it had but either way it looks very good in there. The pizza is excellent here 🍕
Fairly good food. Husband had clam sauce over spaghetti. I had potato crusted cod. The clam sauce was excellent, and the cod had nice texture. Cousin had salmon, and she said it was good. The portion was fairly large. Staff was attentive. Overall, we were happy.
This is a restaurant attached to a hotel. While it is very clean, it just doesn't have that Italian restaurant feel. The food is decent. I think it's a little pricey for what you get. The fettuccine isn't as thick & creamy as what I like. It's more on the runny, soupy side. The zucchini sticks are very good as an appetizer. The best dish that I had there was their Pizza Bianca. A delicious spinach pizza with their garlic butter sauce. I believe what makes this place special is all the wonderful people who work there. Everyone was so friendly & helpful.
Been there many times always great. Wine options are nice, menu is very italian but simple for an Italian place. Staff is clean and friendly. Food taste great
Food is good. Servers are very nice. The specials are a great draw. Love the Italian Restaurant atmosphere inside of a hotel restaurant. I had the Wings and Burger, the Cod and Chips another night. Got to watch the game at the bar and Amada was very courteous.
Unusual for Alfredo's, which is one of my favorite restaurants, I have to withhold one star. We were celebrating my friend's birthday and unfortunately this evening the service was subpar. We were waiting about 20 minutes before our drink order was taken and another 10 to get our drinks. Then it was an uncomfortable time to place our dinner orders. I ordered the baked salmon which is my usual and it was a disappointment. A small piece of salmon, the mashed potatoes very dry and lumpy. My friend Rose got the fish fry which she said was good. The birthday girl, Sharon, had chicken Marsala and had to ask for more sauce as it was quite dry. It took another 15 minutes to get the sauce! The waitress brought Sharon a lovely slice of apple pie for dessert. This will not deter me from dining here again as I understand things can happen, staff calls off putting strains on the others, the chef is overwhelmed. So, thank you Alfredo's and I look forward to giving you the usual 5 stars next time.
Food was good, Italian wedding soup delicious and desserts are the main star! The service was not the best and it could have been what looked to be one server for three sections. But we waited a good minute to get our order in.
We went for Happy Hour before the show. Sat at the bar. Great bartender--remembered we wanted no ice in our waters. Fried zucchini was delicious.
The food is pretty good but nothing to rave about. I have gone a few times and would definitely go again and would even take others. I personally think they could add a few more options to their brunch menu.
Salad and bread is great. The red sauce seemed a little too bland...I think they make their sauce heavy on the parsley which just kind of hides the flavors of a good red sauce. Not a bad deal for a decent lunch.
I refuse to believe this place has over 4 stars. I never write a negative review based on my first experience, but I'm breaking my own rule here because the food was so bad. I knew that I was in trouble when I was presented with the choice of marinara or white sauce with my $24 plate of spaghettini with clams, but I persevered. The Caesar dressing with my side salad was bizarre and nothing like I would expect from a purported Italian restaurant. Instead of a simple anchovy-based house dressing, I was given a bottled mess that tasted like something between ranch, Caesar, and water drained out of a bar mat. The alarming cloudy orange of the old fashioned I ordered was another warning sign and, as I expected, it was nothing like any other old fashioned I've had before. There was no discernible amount of bourbon in it, though there was a curious mush of mascerated oranges at the bottom. The true center piece of the culinary side show was the pasta. Never before have I been served anything as outright offensive as the spaghettini with clams here. The clams... I'm not even sure I can call them that...were inedible. It was as if they took a can of tuna, mixed it with white onions and some butter, and sautéed it far beyond recognition. I've never seen anything like it. I'm still not convinced I wasn't served cat food. Really, just give it up guys. No one is mistaking you for an actual Italian restaurant. Paint everything brown, buy some vaguely 19th century industrial-looking metalwork pieces for decor, and start selling smash burgers. It honestly can't hurt.
Asked for a bowl of Italian soup and even questioned the server when he handed me the container. It was literally 4 spoonfuls of the soup and it was $7.00. Also I had a service charge of $2.46 added to the bill. What is that about. Unfortunately I took my dissatisfaction out on the tip for the server and feel bad about that.
This is the order I received upon pickup while staying at the hotel. $20 will cost you this dry piece of chicken parm with a slice of unmelted cheese, and minimal sauce.
This is what water was serve from and the staff was dress sloppy some of shoes were filthy one young lady on crutches and had to keep asking for things. No love in the food was ok.
Myself and 2 colleagues were guests at the hotel of Canon Medical which provided us with meal vouchers for Alfredos during our stay. The first night this wasn't an issue, and the nice waitress working that evening only charged us for mine and my wife's drinks. Night 2 we ate and presented our vouchers which turned in to a 30 minute escapade where none of the staff could figure out how to charge us. We ended up getting charged for things like half coffees and half sodas. We were confused as to why it was any sort of issue on night 2. Night 3 we presented our voucher before the meal to help with any sort of confusion. Well that didn't work either. 2 of us for some reason got charged and there was much confusion over tips, which were already built in to the vouchers. For whatever reason, our vouchers were returned to us after our check was settled. My coworker had around $15 left on hers so we asked at the counter if we could just use what was left on some cookies from the case. We were given a response of "no and from now on you should order any thing from the case before settling." Umm ok so why did you give the card back then? This all happened as the older female bartender glared at us as if we were stealing or something. Needless to say, any good thoughts we had for the meals were completely overshadowed by the ineptitude and poor attitude of some of the staff. Hopefully Canon contracts with another nearby hotel in the future if for no other reason than to not subject clients to this restaurant.
Where do I begin? Dinner was 4/6/24. Our waitress was Alison. She didn't know the menu so well. Took 10 minutes to get a glass of water and we never got a basket of bread. Steak came out underdone but I would've been ok with it. She insisted on sending it back because it looked undercooked but I really didn't want to. She insisted. When the steak came back it was overcooked. I took 4 bites and I was done. Kept trying to flag a manager down but never happened. He kept looking over and so did the hostess but nobody came over. My wife's chicken was tough. The waitress could've boxed our food but instead handed us boxes then disappeared into the night not to be seen again for 10 minutes. She kept coming by and then disappearing. Dinner service was 90 minutes. Service was not even as good as the Olive Garden. I would honestly skip this place and head to Little Italy if your going to spend this kind of money.
Unfortunately our favorite restaurant has changed drastically since ownership switched hands from the Quagliatta family. We have been coming here since the old days of the Spaghetti Company. After it moved to the hotel to become Alfredo’s At The Inn, it still had a very nice ambiance, people dressed up, the lights were dim, soft music played, and we considered it to be a top-notch restaurant. Slowly but surely it has been on the decline. Within the past few years, prices have soared to nearly double what they were 3 years ago, the atmosphere is no longer soft and romantic, and the food is starting to change for the worse too. What was once a beautiful ambiance is now a very bright, white, stark, sterile environment with no music or music so soft you can’t even hear it, the sound of everyone talking just bounces all over the place like a cafeteria. The chairs are incredibly uncomfortable and even when you make reservations and request a barrel, you don’t get it. I requested this for Valentine’s Day because they are romantic and private and they sat us smack in the middle of the restaurant where we could not even hear each other speak.the lights are so bright, the colors so stark white, it feels like you are eating at a hospital, not a nice Italian restaurant. The service was good overall, but the server was clearly overwhelmed. We received our appetizers and salads, but no silverware was on the table. The cheese for pasta is no longer the fresh Romano, it is now the stale Parmesan. The bread is no longer a huge basket of a variety of breads, it is one piece each of a bland roll. The veal parm is now served without sauce, which is not only odd, but when you ask for it, they only gave one little side to my husband, none to me, and we got the same thing! Everyone around us happened to order the veal as well and everyone complained about no sauce and all had to request it. It took the server quite awhile to get this to everyone and by then the veal was cold. Hopefully they never mess with the Quagliatta Family recipe for the salad dressing or the veal Parm. Once they do that, we will never come back. We used to come here once a week for years. Since things have started to decline, it has become once every couple of months. After the not-so-great experience on Valentine’s Day, neither of us is crazy about coming back any time soon. It’s too bad. Had the ambiance and quality stayed the same, the higher prices would be justified. Now, you don’t even have silverware on the table, the shortcuts with the bread and cheese is very noticeable, and you feel like you are eating in a hospital cafeteria.
Met cousin and sister for lunch. The eggplant that came with spaghetti was good HOWEVER, only 2 small pieces of eggplant for over $17! Sister got the same and said the same thing. Cousin got steak salad that had quite a bit of fat she cut off. Very disappointing for the price you pay. Waitress did not come around for refills nor was she attentive. Not often we get together and was looking for a nice experience. Needless to say, we won’t be coming back when there are other places to choose from.
My wife ,myself ,& mother in law came in to the bar at 4:00 pm and were hit with the most rude and miserable bar tender we have ever met. We sat down and a few other people did too. Jennifer the bar tender asked what we wanted to drink and didn’t even give us any kind of menu for us to choose from. She then clapped her hands and said” come on I got shit to do” she looks at my wife and said “is it even 4:00 yet” After a discussion between ourselves we decided to have one drink and go somewhere else. As we downed our drink so we could leave we could hear Jennifer talking to the women at the end of the bar about how she was leaving the next day to go on vacation to Jupiter Florida. It was really upsetting to us that Jennifer treated us like that because we have been there when Bobbi was working and we had a great time. She was wonderful, and that’s why we came back. I do recommend this bar and restaurant just not when Jennifer is working.
We’ve eaten at Alfredo’s a half dozen times over the past 15 years. We’ve always found it OK (not great) and felt there was value. Tonight 7 of us went to celebrate our 28th anniversary. It took 1 hour and 38 minutes to get our entrees. The restaurant was NOT busy. When we got our food the plates were super hot and had been under heat lamps for a long time. Everyone’s food was not good for a premium price. Our meal was $340 for cheap inexpensive food poorly cooked. No one came to apologize for the slow service. There didn’t seem to be any leadership in the place. No one even asked how things were when we were leaving. I assume they didn’t want to hear an answer. The price is insanely expensive for inexpensive food. The experience was awful. I usually leave a 25% tip, but I left a 15% tip today which was not earned. $400 for Italian food for a party of 7 would have been extremely expensive for a well cooked and served meal, but to be charged that much for that food and that experience is a ripoff. Alfredo’s has truly “Jumped the Shark”. I do not recommend.
absolutely horrific experience. Had reservations for 6:30 PM. After 40 minutes, at 710pm, we still had not even been offered drinks or place settings or had any server attention beyond dropping off a bottle of water with no glasses. Three times we approached the hostess about the lack of service and each time we were informed it would be corrected immediately, but nothing was done The best advice I could give anyone is to stay away - the service was horrible and when we left after 40 minutes, they could nit have cared less clearly, the place is inadequately staffed and unprofessionally operated
It wasnt very busy and it took sometime to be seated. The atmosphere had a cafeteria feeling to it. My tables wobbled terribly and I waited for a waitress for some time before I walked out without ordering. Wouldn’t recommend and won’t return.
