I was in town on business and played a round of golf across the street. One of the members recommended this restaurant for a great post round meal, and it did not disappoint. The Bolognese was absolutely phenomenal—rich, perfectly balanced, and easily the best meal of my entire week long trip. The atmosphere was warm, the service attentive, and the food exceptional. I will definitely return the next time I am in town and will recommend it to my local colleagues.

A truly unique pizza experience in Texas!The ingredients were incredibly fresh. An authentic thin, perfectly baked crust and ingredients whose flavors stood out individually but blended together beautifully! Special shoutout to the delicious sangria!! Great authentic Neapolitan style pizza.. Having spent time in Italy.. I can safely say this is the real deal! Staff was great and food was delivered fresh and incredibly fast! I ordered the three meat pizza and added fresh tomatoes and mushrooms... The vino, Idi Di Marzo was an excellent pairing!

Cavalli’s Napoletana Pizza delivered a flavorful experience. The Smoky Chicken Pizza had a rich, charred taste with a nice balance of smoky and savory. The Gardina Pizza brought a fresh, veggie-forward contrast. Fettuccine Alfredo was creamy and satisfying, complementing the pizzas well. The Lemon Drop Martini added a zesty kick, refreshing and sharp. Finished with a classic Tiramisu—light, sweet, and the perfect end to the meal. Great variety, solid flavors, and a well-rounded Italian dining experience.

I haven’t been here in years. But one of my doctors is now just a bit down the road. OMG I wish we had a place like this close to me in Aubrey, but I will say that every single time I am scheduled with my neurologist, which unfortunately is often. I will come here. Bed food, best pizza, best staff. Just completely wonderful. I’m so happy and thankful that they are still here and better than ever!

A great place for casual dinner!! As first timers, we ordered an app (focaccia), a pizza (margherita extra), and a pasta (cacio e pepe). Service was impeccable, our server was ON IT and so attentive throughout our entire meal. And the focaccia and pizza were DELICIOUS. They did not skimp on the cheese and it was hot and ready to go. However, the only tiny critique we had was of the cacio e pepe. It was a whole LOT of pepper and barely any cheese; it was more of a water & pepper pasta, which was so unfortunate. For that reason alone, we’d give this place a 4.5 out of 5 stars. But everything else was AMAZING and we will definitely be coming back!!! It’s our new favorite pizza place.

Love this place! Luke- awesome waiter 👐 Jalapeño Artichoke Dip was phenomenal! Ordered the wedge salad, build your own pizza and zeppolle. All were great. Loved the Smoked Pecan Old Fashioned. Will definitely be a returning customer!

The stone fire pizza is amazing at Cavalli's! The staff were all very friendly and quick to take care of you. The jalapeno artichoke dip is so good you have to try. Lots of menu options and we plan on definitely coming back!

This was our first visit since they reopened. Calamari & marinara were very good. Ceasar salad was a little too sweet for us. Pizza was good but a little too much sauce. The s'mores dessert pizza was delicious! The service was wonderful. We'll definitely be back. Could have been an off night for the sauce & the salad.

Excellently prepared, it showcased the chef's skill and commitment to delivering a memorable Italian classic. Every bite was a flavorful journey, making it a must-try for anyone visiting. The staff are the real gems of this establishment. Their warmth and attentiveness added to the overall positive dining experience. From recommendations to accommodating requests, the team's dedication to customer satisfaction deserves applause. One note for potential diners: the dine-in pizza is limited to a 12-inch size. While this might be a drawback for those seeking a larger pizza, the quality and taste make up for the size limitation.

There is something immediately inviting about Cavalli. The room feels alive — warm lighting, animated conversation, and a certain Italian charm that makes you linger a little longer at the table. The ambiance carries confidence. For a moment, you feel transported. The penne vodka, however, did not quite achieve the same harmony. It leaned slightly too salty for my taste, and the cheese was pronounced — almost overpowering — masking the subtle creaminess and balance one hopes for in a well-executed vodka sauce. It was not unpleasant, but it lacked refinement. A dish with potential, yet one that felt heavier than it needed to be. The Margherita pizza arrived hot and fresh, its marinara bright and present. The undercarriage held structure — a detail any pizza enthusiast appreciates. Yet the cheese separated too easily from the crust, sliding away rather than melding seamlessly into it. It was a respectable pie, enjoyable in the moment, though not one that compels a return on its own. Cavalli delivers atmosphere and solid effort, though true balance remained just out of reach. Not every meal is art, but every meal leaves a mark.

Saturday night visit, first visit, party of five. We were seated quickly. The table enjoyed the artichoke appetizer. The Dallas pizza wasn't bad. It was a little burnt and tasted burnt. The pizza is not crispy, a little floppy whole holding a slice. The service was good, attentive. It's a solid Italian spot if you're in the area.

My husband and I tried this restaurant a few years ago and never went back. Now under new ownership, we thought we would try it out again tonight for dinner. Unfortunately this second time around was not a good experience. There were a couple waiters and what looked like the manager walk by us or near us and never took our drink order. No one ever brought water to our table. We watched other tables around us getting water refills or having water served. Finally after 10 minutes, a waiter came by and took our drink order. After another 10 minutes, our glass of tea and beer finally came out. Our food came out much faster. Maybe they were short staffed? I do not know. But it should never take 20 minutes to get 2 drinks. That had already set the tone for a bad experience the rest of the evening. We really wanted to love this place since it’s so close to our house, unfortunately, we will not be going back.

Cavalli Pizza is a nice restaurant with a great staff. The food and drinks were just not good. The lasagna was bland and very small for a $17 price point. The pizza was meh at best…had much better pizza elsewhere. The sodas come in glass bottles you’ll have to self pour. It’s a bougie restaurant in a faux European village. There are a lot of other Italian restaurants/pizza restaurants that are much better. Kudos again to the staff and management for being very welcoming.

So disappointed in our first experience. Came to visit from a TikTok post that looked promising. Solid service but food was not good. We ordered the Caesar salad (have had bagged salad kits better), McKinney Pizza, and Jalepeno and artichoke dip. Pizza crust was good but flavor was lacking and off. Dip was straight mayo/cream cheese. Would recommend other places like Cane Rosso over this place. Unfortunately will not be back.
