5/23 Salata of McKinney Tx. 4 of us for lunch today, we all had custom regular sized salads. Pleasantly surprised by the amount of toppings available for our salads. Greenery was fresh as all the toppings looked and tasted delicious. Staff was helpful and afterwards a Togo box was made available as we requested. There is also iced tea taps on the wall. Clean, healthy eating in a clean environment. We’ll all be back soon.

Today was the first time I have been to Salata, I was pleasantly surprised! I was out running errands and was really in the mood for a salad. Salata is located in a shopping center off 380 in McKinney. I got there right at opening at 11 and was helped right away. It is a large salad bar where they serve up exactly what you are wanting. I went with a regular size bowl, it was huge! I probably could have done with a smaller one. I opted to do a Cobb salad in the beginning but it ended up being something very different in the end. Lol the spicy dressing was really spicy which I enjoyed. I love all of the fresh options to add into the salad as well as the different variety of meats and seasonings. The restaurant was clean and uncluttered, booth and table seating throughout. The employees were friendly and efficient. I like the tea bar in the back, with a variety of flavored teas on tap. Very filling and satisfying, I will definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It’s a really nice salad bar. All of the veggies are so fresh. Very nice portion size of the regular salad bowl which was enough for a family of 4. Great place to eat something fresh.

I had the BEST. SALAD. EVER! Fresh ingredients and oh, so flavourful! Generous serving portions and LOTS of fruit, veggies, & protein to choose from to add to your salad! Absolutely delicious! I highly recommend! ❤️

THE BEST SALAD PLACE EVER!!! I could come here everyday if my budget allowed me to!! There are sooo many ingredients to choose from!! Everything has always been fresh!! I love the way their ranch tastes!! Recommend to anyone who has never been there and for those who have should go more often!!

I'm am so ecstatic that Salata is now open in McKinney. June 23 was my 1st visit, and I went back a week later. Each time was a wonderful experience. The food is always fresh and the flavors will excite your taste buds. It's a great way to get your recommend fruits and vegetables. Its amazing. The staff is professional and friendly. I highly recommend.

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G fresh healthy food!!! Gourmet salads are made to order. Very nice, clean dining area. It is upscale cafeteria style ordering. The drink selection is nice also. You have your choice of fountain drink, gourmet organic black or green teas on tap, homemade lemonade or limeade, and/or bottled soda. There is every vegetable imaginable. Proteins are plentiful with your choice of shrimp, salmon, turkey, or a variety of marinated chicken breast. Great assortment of homemade dressings. They also have fresh flavorful soups. If you want to indulge you can even grab a fresh made chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, peanut butter, or white chocolate macadamia nut cookie;) My absolute fave is the mixed green + kale salad with the pesto chicken. I add all of the veggies plus pumpkin seeds and eggs to pile on even more protein. The vinegar & oil is to die for. BONUS, they have a pick up window too if you want to order ahead! My mouth is watering just writing this review. YUM, YUM, YUM :) :) :)

Looking for fresh and healthy meal? Salata is the place for you! I’m so glad they are here as I have been wanting some options like this for awhile. Give them a shot! You will love it. Very clean and efficient. The sky is the limit on your salad creations!

I ordered a Chicken Caesar salad and unfortunately it was really disappointing. The chicken didn’t taste very fresh and the overall salad quality wasn’t great. On top of that, the customer service wasn’t very helpful. The dining area also needed attention — several tables were dirty and hadn’t been wiped down, which made the place feel poorly maintained. Overall, it wasn’t a great experience and definitely not what I expected. Especially for the price you pay for a single meal.

The gave me LOTS OF LETTUCE, and were very skimpy on the toppings. The kids meal is a total rip off, maybe enough for a toddler, but definitely not a kid. Their salads are good overall, but the service could definitely use some improvement.

Rating this location 2 stars. I love Salata and have never given a bad rating but I was disappointed in the quality of food at this location. The lettuce was wilted and that is the most important ingredient in a salad. Also, the other containers with vegetables didn’t look fresh. Again, this was an odd visit because I normally have a good experience with Salata. Guessing it’s just a location issue.

Here’s a polished rewrite of your review that keeps the tone strong and clear, while making it more professional and impactful: I visited this location with my children and ordered two kids’ salads. The service was very disorganized- one employee started my order, another finished one salad, and then a different person prepared the second. Each kids’ salad costs $8, but the portions were shockingly small. For the first salad, barely half the box was filled. For the second, most of the toppings were placed in tiny sauce containers, resulting in even less food- about three-quarters of the box was empty. This felt like a complete waste of money. The quality here does not compare to other locations I’ve visited, where portions and service have always been much better. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. I will not be returning to this location and will be contacting corporate about the poor service and lack of value.

Beware! First time ever customer here tonight...and will definitely also be the last. This was one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had at a restaurant. I ordered online a dinner for the family tonight which consisted of 3 salads and a bottle of ranch. 2 of the salads were intentionally ordered with no dressing since we were ordering the bottle of ranch. So, the bottle of ranch here is key to the meal. When the time came, I drove to pickup the ordered dinner. The young woman working the counter aloofly told me it was being worked and should be ready in a few minutes. I was a little early, so understandable. I waited a few minutes, and eventually was given my bag with the order. However, the young woman was a little brash this time up when giving me the bag. Actually, she didn't give me the bag. She rudely plopped it near the edge of the counter and said "here it is." That was an unusual way of showing appreciation for a patron. As I was walking out, I noticed the bag didn't have the bottle of ranch dressing. I turned around and walked back to the counter where I had to interact with the same young woman again. I told her I was missing the bottle of ranch, and asked for the ranch. It is only then, that she informs me that they have no ranch! Wait..what? Yes, she told me they had no ranch. So, she let me almost walk out of the store knowing I paid for the bottle of ranch and knowing that I was not receiving said bottle of ranch, yet communicated none of this to me. Am I in the twilight zone? Remember, I stood there waiting for a few minutes, so plenty of time for her to fill me in on this key item in my order. Nevermind that I was able to order the ranch to begin with! She said I was not charged, but I have not been able to validate that yet. The receipt shows I was charged for the bottle of ranch. So, I thought for a second of what was actually happening, and I then asked to talk to a manager because this was obviously a frustrating problem. The young woman then told me there was no manager and she was the shift lead and there was nothing she could do. I asked again, and I was told again there was no manager and she was the shift lead, and there was nothing she could do. Obviously, the young woman does not understand customer service, nor care about her job, and noticeably gives no regard for the situation. That is a major problem, and rather than even try to deal with her further (because I knew it would go nowhere) I figured I'd start with this review when home, and I walked out calmly, but very, very frustrated. Fortunately, I was able to stop at another nearby restaurant on the way back home that was actually cool enough to give me some ranch...at no charge even. Now that is customer service, for a non paying customer even! For Salata, terrible transaction, and absolutely the worst attitude and service from that young woman. No cap. The absolute worst service ever. And to top all of this off, one of our salads came with the greens, but hardle any of the toppings. Another salad came with hardly any greens and a ridiculous amount of toppings. Not sure if there was a manager on duty here at the time or not, but the employees working the front were doing a terrible job tonight. I will be requesting a full refund tomorrow (or publically, kind of doing that here now). And I will never dine with any Salata again.
