For a neighborhood pub and eatery, it FAR surpassed my expectations. Not only do they have amazing signature cocktails and a full wine and beer list, the food is phenomenal! We sat down and shared our large table with another couple and ended up having a great time with people we didn't even know. The atmosphere is upscale but relaxed without affecting the quality of the food and service. The service is fantastic and personable. The server spent time with us and other tables so go visit without feeling rushed. I cannot recommend this place enough for a great dinner with your special someone or a casual drink at the bar.

Elwood is Delicious! They have a great menu with some real bangers. I enjoyed the Pork Shank with Mac & Cheese, suggested by our amazing server Orlando. The pork shank was braised tender enough for the bones to pull out clean. The BBQ sauce had a sweet molasses depth with some heat that paired well with the meat. The Mac & Cheese had a great sauce and unique choice of noodle topped with garlic seasoned bread crumbs. They have a decent craft beer selection including local favorites like Peticolis: Velvet Hammer and tasty crafted cocktails. From the outside this place looks to be more of a bar, but the cooks in the kitchen apparently work for Bobby Flay. Subtle shout-out to the Hot Broccoli appetiser. We look forward to coming back and enjoying brunch!

Had a great time. Drinks were good and the back patio was chill. We did not try the food but the menu did show a plant based option. They also have brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Will definitely drop back in to check it out.

First time here, loved it! Tried their Beer Braised BBQ Pork Shank, it was delish. The Mac-N-Cheese served with it was one of the best I've had. 👍👍 Please be warned that the portion of their Loaded Tots was HUGE!! Crispy tots loaded with all the yummy goodness on top at only $12?! It's definitely a steal. Husband liked their whiskey menu and I've already picked out my beer for next visit. When a restaurant served their water iced cold, you knew they cared. Our server was Megan, she was efficient, cordial and knowledgeable of all things on menu. High marks for that. It's 90°F out but sitting at B.F.D.'s shaded patio with nice breeze was such a treat. Especially with the scenic green view right in front of us, you wouldn't even notice this restaurant is actually conveniently located close to SH121. Highly recommend.

I've been here twice. Both times have been great. I honestly chose this place for the atmosphere. Food is good. The brisket is just a little tough, but not a deal breaker. Wish the tacos had more toppings in comparison to how much brisket is on them. Other than that, I recommend it.

Quiet neighborhood bar. Great cocktails. They have many different kinds of old fashioned. Food was good but vegetarian options were limited.

While they do definitely have TVs with sports games on, I definitely wouldn't consider it a sports bar. It's a little more upscale than some neighborhood pubs or bars, considering the decor and dress of most of the patrons. They do have a decent beer selection and some really cool food options, such as the broccoli appetizer that we had. It really was unusual but in a good way and I enjoyed it a lot. I was in the mood for something light so I had the Mediterranean Bowl and it was good as well, especially the hummus. My wife had a burger and fries and enjoyed them both but especially the crispy fries. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to try it more of the menu items and beers on tap.

Food is decent & the location is awesome. However, any mixed drink/ cocktail is a one star at best. The margaritas were awful! We had a party of 15 & everyone hated their drinks. If you want anything outside of a fountain drink- stick to beer.

This was an okay meal. I felt like the options were fairly limited. We went with a group and we all kinda settled on something. Also it was super dark so it was difficult to see what was going on in the booth. Both items were fine, but not memorable enough to think I REALLY need to come back here! The hummus bowl was a weird combination of items but everything was fresh.

I visited this place and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was great, the food came out on time, and overall, I had a good experience. I would have liked the drinks to be a bit stronger and the music to be more varied, but I would definitely come back and recommend it.

My cousin and I were looking to grab a quick drink and some bites on a Friday night and we just so happened to see The Elwood. The place looked really laid back and there wasn’t a crowd (which was a plus). We sat at the bar and ordered the nachos, bread pudding and a couple of cocktails. I can’t remember the names of the drinks, but they were okay. The nachos were different but in a good way (really good flavor)! The bread pudding wasn’t like what you’d get in New Orleans but it was still enjoyable.

They charge a credit card fee. Just a scam practice, restaurants seem to have forgotten how difficult it is to handle cash and I've had debit card numbers lifted at restaurants which have no protection if people spend on the spoofed card. Credit cards are just a cost of doing business like everything else, put it in your prices and be upfront about it
