Absolutely love, Torchy‘s Tacos and it’s one of our go to spots for Tacos! Honestly , I can’t recall having a bad experience at this location. The staff is always friendly, and the food is always hot and fresh. The hillbilly queso is really flavorful, and the addition of the chorizo definitely makes it one of my favorite queso dips from any restaurant. You can’t go wrong with any of the tacos, but some of my favorites are the steak fajita, the Baja shrimp, the brushfire, and the crossroads. They have a great selection of drinks from the fountain machine, twice as many as many other restaurants and I love that they offer Cherry coke and Dr Pepper! When our family visited from Norway last year, this was definitely on their go to list to try out, and they absolutely loved everything that we tried. We will be back soon!
We stopped in for a quick lunch. Food was great. Caylon was awesome and helped us with the menu. Would stop back at the location anytime when we are in the area

Stopped in for lunch and met Caylon at the bar. I'm not one to write reviews, but it is rare that I come across such impressive service. Her great conversation was very welcoming. I wish she worked at the Torchy's closer to me. I would go out of my way for this quality service.

Love torchys and the food especially the aesthetic in general, but having Caylon take my order made it even better. She is kind and patient. Offers recommendations and has a friendly personality in general! Staff kept up with the cleanliness which is always great to see.
Caylon, the woman who served me while my baby was yelling in the background (lol) was kind enough to let me order through the drive through window when I didn’t realize I had to order online. Parents will understand the struggle of just trying to get something to eat!!! She was so nice and professional—I truly appreciated her ;). The breakfast burrito—chefs kiss. Great way to start your day.

Loveeeee this place down bad my sister invited me here I normally turn down new place I’m not familiar with because I’m a picky eater but when I say I have had a great experience thanks yo CAYLON at the front counter great service understands what one is asking for and good on the recs I would recommend this place for anyone at any time of the day on anyday of the year because it’s just that damn GOOD THANKS TO THIS LOCAL PLACE 10/10 highly recommend
The food here is always amazing! The last time I visited, there was an issue with my order, and a staff member named Anthony took care of it so professionally and really helped to elevate our dining experience. I will definitely be back to this location!

Stopped by Torchy’s in McKinney and had a great experience sitting at the bar. The Baja tacos are hands-down the best—fresh, crispy, and packed with flavor. Exactly what I was craving. Shoutout to Caylon, the bartender, who took amazing care of us. Super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better with great service and a welcoming vibe. Definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to.
We pulled up to the drive thru window not knowing it was only for order ahead, but Caylon gave us extra customer service and allowed us to order, pay, and receive our food there! It was so nice not to have to get out of the car and go into the restaurant! She was helpful and the food was tasty! We’ll be back!
I am so glad Torchy’s came to McKinney! The food is delicious…the best queso I’ve ever had! Service is always great, everyone is so kind and helpful (Caylon was awesome)! Love coming here and I will definitely keep coming back!
Used to live behind the original "hole in the wall" Torchy's on 1st and EL Paso. I still think these are some of the best Tacos in the world! I frequently need my Torchy's fix. The McKinney location has the best service in the Dallas area hands sown (skip Plano). Caylon always greets us with a big smile and effortlessly puts in all of our special requests! Ella gives great bar service. Margaritas are always amazing.
Queso is a must. There are many types of tacos to try. Each is unique and delicious. I've been many times and haven't had a bad one yet!
The restaurant shares parking with other establishments around it so it can be a bit difficult to find parking sometimes. I arrived around 6:20 in the evening and it wasn’t too crowded but a few minutes after I arrived and ordered it got really crowded so I guess I just beat the dinner rush. The tacos were really good and they had some nice heat to it with good flavor, especially on the hogfather taco and the bushfire chicken tacos. Those were really good and they had the right amount of heat and sweetness to them.
LOVE Torchy’s! The food is always consistently amazing, and the prices are fair! Caylon made the day even better by making sure we were welcomed and took the time to actually meet us. We will definitely be back!

Caylon and Ella were total sweethearts—so bubbly, friendly, and very attentive to me and my husband. They made the experience extra enjoyable. The food was great, the queso was delicious, and the place was very clean. We’ll definitely be coming back, next time with the whole family!

We love Torchys food. But today special thanks for Devlin service. First time during the visit server introduce all sauces that tourchys has. It our favorite part for tacos, sauces!
This Torchy’s location is now my favorite location! The staff is so friendly and will always check on you! The food came out quick and fresh. I walked in and the manager held the door open for me and welcomed me in. The team was super polite and gave great advice regarding the menu. The whole dining experience was superb, several employees checked on me and took care of me. I will continue to come specifically to this location. Thank you to the Torchy’s team!
Attended the grand opening on 5/15. First off the staff was super friendly and amazing!! The food was phenomenal! I've been to Torchys before in the past and it was just ok. This location definitely sets the standard of good customer service and great quality food! The manager Ryan took time to walk around making sure everything was running smoothly and everyone was happy. I will definitely be back and will be telling all my friends about this location! Keep up the great work!
I never tend to have an issue with torchys but the process to order pickup over the phone is so needless and exhausting. I just wanted two fried avocado tacos and a sweet tea but the automated system couldn't understand sweet tea.. so after three different times of me trying to get it to understand I just wanted a sweet tea it transfers me to a person who needs my first and last name and to pay with a link. All this is very needless and with the time I'm spending trying to do all this, I'd rather just go in person and wait for my order. Needlessly rigorous for a simple order. I just discarded the order and went somewhere else. Pick up orders are supposed to be simple not more complicated.
Not sure what the hype is all about with this place - or maybe I didn't try the right food. Anyways. The tacos are SO expensive. Me and my husband ordered only 3 of them with a bottled drink and it came out to $20 Service is non existent and once you walk in there is sports bar like vibes. I guess I was expecting more like Authentic tacos...
I’m a long-time Torchy’s fan, but my recent to-go experience at the Hwy 380 location was disappointing. My Mr. Orange taco lacked its usual fresh flavor, which was a letdown. More importantly, the service felt impersonal. I wasn’t greeted, and despite tipping at the counter, there was no "thank you" or acknowledgement—just a buzzer hand-off. If a business prompts for tips, a basic level of courtesy should follow. I love the brand and will return, but I hope this location improves its hospitality and food consistency.
