5 stars if it's Tuesday or Thursday for half-price pies. Otherwise 3 or 4. Still damn good, but $$$. This is not the bougie thin, floppy fire blah blah pizza you see so much of in this area. This is crust with snap and chew, topped with zesty sauce and lots of ingredients. It's a proper size. And on aforementioned Tuesday and Thursday, it's incredible value. This is not hipster prosciutto, hand-harvest honey, microgreens or whatever pizza that you nibble on and ultimately wish it was something else. This is delicious, substantial, and SATISFYING pizza. Good chain. Great pizza.
March 5, 2021. First indoor dining visit to Mt. Mike's during covid era.. Party of three. Only patrons inside. Still.seemed to be very busy with take out sales. And, as always, good pizza.
Super clean and friendly staff. Careful with the table pizza rack when you get lg or smaller. They don't fit and your pizza will fall lol Will becoming back 🙂
Pizzas are really good. They used to have a person in the counter that knew everyone by name after your second visit. Unfortunately he left. But staff is always friendly
Great place for pizza. Half off on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If you are considering eating here, parking is scarce. Friendly services.
Went in for the lunch buffet special, which is a great deal! Good pizza and they have a salad bar available.
Good to see Mt. Mike's in Menlo park. est pizza around staff is friendly Jose and Brian gonna take care of ya. Really nice atmosphere
Nice and staff They help me at the last minute before they close, they were almost closed The food quality is good unfortunately unhealthy but once in the valley is okay. Use Tuesday Thursday half-price deal large combo large pizza $20
We love coming here! They have a great half off pizza deal on Thursdays and all you can eat lunch buffets. They have pitchers of beer and lots of TVs for sports. The people who work there are all really great and friendly.
The team is extremely friendly and the restaurant is comfortable / clean. Our group accidentally put our pizza on an uneven stand that ultimately lead to most of the meal falling off. The team immediately said they would make us another one (even though the issue was completely our fault). I appreciate this service!
I love the top-tier pizza and this convenient location along my commute corridor. At least once a month I splurge on a large "Everest" or "McKinley" (combos with meat) on one of their half-price days (Tuesdays & Thursdays with a discount code via text). Great value and high quality prepared by friendly and helpful staff.
We were their first walk-in customers at opening today and had a fabulous experience! They put on a kids show for my three little ones and had all kinds of great pizzas, cheesy bread, and a good salad bar. Customer service was great with friendly staff and the place was cleaned throughout. There is an extra sitting room in the back which I discovered after eating.
Went to this Menlo Park location on the day of Super Bowl. The vibe inside is of a sports bar. They were offering All you can eat pizza buffet for super bowl. Its awesome for pizza lovers, but not so much for vegetarians. There is only one option for vegetarians in the set pizza menu. Its possible to customize that, I got half mt veggimore with creamy garlic sauce and half with marinara. You can also build your own here. Garlic knots were okay, little on the overbaked side. There is a bookable room at the back which was reserved at the time for game viewing and looked fun to do something with friends & family. Pizza came fast, hot & fresh out of the oven. It was cheesyyy and yumm. The cashiers taking orders were nice & friendly!!
Great pizza and wings salad bar is decent. Kitchen and dining area very clean. Staff was great we were welcomed in price was great for our big family 😊
Stopped in right before closing time. Expected to get pushback about making a fresh pizza when they were in the process of cleaning up and probably wanted to just go home. Instead, super friendly staff baked me an awesome McKinley pizza. Kudos to them for consistent quality and great service. Cheers!
Mushroom pizza was good, gaming plaza is amazing

We were seeing a show at the guild threatre. Needed a quick bite. Ordered on the trip down from SF. they had it ready when we walked in. Ate it in line, made friends sharing with the door crew @ the guild. Was surprised at how good the pizza was. I wouldn't call it cheap, but nothing is these days. Med 2 topping a little over$30. Was worth it. Logistics were good. We were hungry. Right across the street from the show.
We ordered 6 large pizzas and 2 servings of cheese sticks for my son's birthday party at a local park. The online order ahead process was easy, the pizza was delivered to the picnic area earlier than expected - which was great! - and it was hot out of the bag when it arrived! Everyone enjoyed it! Super tasty and easy - exactly what we needed for the party.
Saturday afternoon hunger building what happened next was amazing. I have eaten here before but usually just in an out with pie in hand. Not today my friends I had no idea they had an All you can eat special. Not sure if it's daily blessing but on this day I was greatly appreciated the all you can eat pizza salad and soda! Brings back memories of the all you can eat bbq rib night at the sizzler! Variety of pizzas from supreme to simple even a few slices of pineapple and ham for those brave enough. Staff was amazing friendly and was nice enough to put some hockey on the big screen. Highly recommend
Mountain Mike's Pizza buffet is a must-try for pizza lovers. Their pizza is delicious with fresh and generous toppings. The buffet also includes salad and soda. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, making it a great spot for a fun and satisfying meal with friends and family. Highly recommend!
We love this location! The pizza is delicious and there’s a bunch of, “free play” arcade games too. Definitely will be back. Large Pizzas are half off Tuesday and Thursdays :)

Friendly staff and excellent pizza. Can’t give 5 stars because of all the dirty tables. Would be great if the not-that-busy staff could stop watching TV and clean up the dining room every time a customer leaves a table.
Great tasting pizza! My favorite up here in the Bay area so far,too bad they don't know what extra cheese means. Otherwise I would have rated 5 stars
Seeing our old friend Applewood pizza disappear from this site was sad ... but MM seems a worthy successor. Great staff, basic American pizza fare, reasonable beer. You wouldn't suggest it for an anniversary dinner venue, but for a casual evening with the guys it's just fine.
Usually is pretty quiet in the dining area. Not a lot going on though the pizza is still delicious. Not a long wait for when you order. Tiny arcade in the back, along with some thrown together outside seating.
perfectly fine. A pleasant place to sit for lunch. AYCE pizza and salad lunch with lots of construction workers, good deal for the working man. Meatball sandwich was nothing special tho
All you can eat salad, pizza and soft drinks for $12 during lunch time is an amazing deal! Not the best pizza or the nicest place but that price is unbelievable, well worth it.
Honestly, I only order from here on a Tuesday or Thursday due to the 50% off deal. Pizza prices in the bay area are just way too pricey lately.
Kids love it especially the free video games. Pizza is pretty good, I had the boneless chicken wings which actually were great. Lots of meat.
pretty good pizza! not the best pizza i’ve ever had but its definitely tasty enough to order again. The online order system they had worked great but a little more communication on when exactly the order was ready would have been nice. I love how you can do half and half pizzas. We got the large and it was just right for a family of four. The hawaiian pizza came with barbecue sauce which we thought was weird but it didn’t taste bad.

Mountain Mike’s – Menlo Park’s Certified Slice of Nostalgia Welcome back to another episode of Local Eats For People Who Know Better, and today’s star is none other than Mountain Mike’s in Menlo Park. A Bay Area staple. The kind of spot that doesn’t need to reinvent itself every three years. No sourdough crust, no “Neapolitan-style artisan fire-kissed flatbread.” Just heat, cheese, carbs, and memories from a simpler, pre-smartphone era. Before you even walk inside, the aroma creeping across that Main Street intersection hits you with the force of a Chuck E. Cheese pizza siren. A primal call. A scent that grabs your childhood by the collar and drags it out of hiding. By the time you pull the door open, you’re already halfway transported to 1998, seatbelt optional. Inside, nothing tries to impress you—and that’s exactly why it slaps. No animatronic rodents. No LED menus. No QR-code ordering labyrinth with a “20 percent tip for literally handing you a cup” prompt. This place is a preserved time capsule: warm, chaotic, stubborn, and beautifully unfancy. We pulled up on a Thursday and ordered a large cheese pizza with jalapeños to split like joint custody. Bless the pizza gods, because it just so happened to be half-off large pizza night. Destiny. Fate. Providence. Whatever it was, we didn’t question it. We wandered into the arcade corner to kill some time, and the lineup is exactly what you’d expect from a place running on pure tradition. A graveyard of mostly fighting games, modded cabinets held together by prayer, controllers drifting harder than a 1994 Civic on bald tires. Street Fighter Turbo, MK1/Trilogy, NFL Blitz, Golden Tee, X-Men 4-player, Deer Hunt. Free play, baby. Calibrate your expectations… because the joysticks definitely aren’t calibrated. Slightly charred bottom, yeast-forward crust, cheese melted into a perfect golden blanket, jalapeños sprinkled with the kind of confidence only a seasoned pizza vet possesses. Whoever was working back-of-house that Thursday deserves a medal. The pizza did what pizza is supposed to do: slap. The front-of-house team held it down too. Two cashiers greeting customers with actual warmth instead of that dead-behind-the-eyes “I hate my job and everyone in this building” retail energy we’ve all survived. Hospitality wasn’t forced. Smiles weren’t fake. Management clearly runs a disciplined ship, and everyone—from the register to the oven—pulled their weight. Overall? I’d take a fresh, steamy slice from Mike’s over Round Table next door any day of the week. Between the nostalgia, the customer service, the arcade lineup held together with duct tape, and the old-school Menlo Park charm, this spot still honors tradition in all the right ways. There’s nothing more American than inhaling a cheese or pepperoni slice while chugging a Mountain Dew, wondering where your life went wrong and also feeling comforted at the same time. It is your constitutional right to bear pizza. And Mountain Mike’s Menlo Park is still out here defending that right with pride.
The pizza is really good but you need to wait for the service

The place was nice and very clean. But there was a kid with a phone leaning over the table in the back right where the other young guy was actually cutting the pizza, trying to show the guy something on the phone. One slipup and he could have easily gor his hand cut off. Thats how close he was to the guy cutting. When the little kid turned around and saw me, he put on his mask and walked away fast. The pizza was good. But I didn't like the unsafeness of the kid. Connect a video game on the back TV to keep him occupied.
Friend bought pizza from here for Christmas Eve movie-watching at home. Pizza was OK.The pizzas were Pepperoni and My. Veggiemore. I miss Applewood Inn that Mountain Mike's replaced. Much better quality crust and a lot more choices of toppings.
We had high hopes but unfortunately the pizza is very average. It is thick in a Domino’s way and is otherwise unremarkable. Also, $28 for a large pizza.
Why can’t they make their Garlic Sticks w cheese??!!! Literally looks like bread sprinkled with the smallest amount of cheese. Add the freaking cheese man! Look at the picture on the website for reference. No wonder your location is averaging 2 stars.
I had a good review from here last time ( literally the best) ..I'm so sad to see it closed????? I just tried coming to order food.Ooh no...it's closed to a health code violation😬. That's too bad and it said rodent and big infestation for the posted reasons.🤢
The buffet was sad the pizza was hard the salad bar was less than standard the Italian pasta salad was completely bad but yet those who don't really eat that type of salad thought it was fine. Service did help by bringing out fresh pizza which was awesome the sodas were completely flat they did change over the gas for that and therefore it was better when we got soda at the end of our pizza. Basically wherever you work it should be understood that you're there to keep up standards of the company or restaurant you work for even if there isn't a big reception of people during that certain day. We were customers came from out of town and was there due to Medical situations in the family but it wasn't expecting having substandard pizza from Mountain Mike's. Thank you

Wow,... this location was previously the applewood in, my favorite pizza place of all time. I was in a hurry, and nearby, so I swung in for the all you can eat lunch buffet. Huge mistake. Even with the "lower expectations" of mountain Mike's. Swing and a miss. Fairly busy for this type of place in this location (about 20 patrons) I was there almost an hour. Only 2 pizzas came out. The salad bar looked slightly the wrong side of sketchy. The pizza has not come back up yet, so we'll call that the star of the show. The service was outshined by the salad bar. I should have gone to McDonald's.
I won't ever be coming here again. I ordered some beers, and my ID was inspected for around 2 minutes, which I found very unusual. I asked if there was a problem, which there was none. After the individual returned, he slide the beers and tried to intimidate me by saying "Next time, there won't be any attitude." I don't know about you, but I really don't want to be intimidated when ordering pizza. I'm never coming here again, and I am going to strongly discourage anyone else coming here.
I liked this place very much. The flavor was always good, hot and fresh, and friendly staff. However, the last time I was in, (probably) an employee's child was going in and out of the back area, sitting at a table, scratching himself inside his shorts, back and forth to the drink area...unappetizing and possibly not legal to have a child there like that, especially if he is, in fact, going to the back area with hot ovens and food prep and things. Truly unsanitary and disgusting...
They closed applewood for this company? Ive ordered from this company pizza before (in a few different locations) and everytime something was wrong, if the service is anything like the other locations and food coming out the same way its not worth it, their chicken tenders aren’t tenders, they are frozen tyson nuggets, and had orders completely wrong, their food in the company is really not good, i wish they would bring apple wood back
I was holding my 1 year old and was waiting for my pizza for about 20-25 min and these people cooked pizza for everyone else first. I had to walk to a cashier and ask him what was going on... the guy just picked some pizza from a shelf, handed it over to me and didn’t even apologize. Shame!
Worst mountain mikes ever I ordered a customised pizza but thet didn’t add anything after that they blaming me that you order this not this
Was eating lunch when i noticed cockroaches crawling in the wall. Couple minutes later i noticed a second cockroach. The food was good.
I ordered a cheese pizza for delivery on Uber eats 11/9/25 just before 9pm. It was so bad I didn't even finish a whole slice. There was almost no discernable sauce making it so dry, and more than 2 pieces had no cheese at all. On a cheese pizza. Idk what happened to the quality. I'm so sad I love Mountain Mike's :(
order from them many times never had a complaint but two days ago was something different personally I can't have cheese anymore so I like to indulge once in a blue and I was craving a mountain Mike's Pizza finish my phone order about 8:13pm I asked for a crispy pepperoni with mushroom and I was told 45 minutes the pizza arrived at 8:55 which was very quick but I live pretty close to this location Pizza should take about 15 or 20 minutes to cook and because I asked for crispy a little longer when my doorbell rang I was surprised how fast they got there but was not discouraged when I grab the pizza box from the guy I noticed that the bottom wasn't as hot as it should be but I didn't care at the moment because I was so hungry when I open the pizza box I noticed the pizza looked very sad I worked in a pizza place for a long time and I've seen a pizza sit in the window for an hour or more and that's exactly what this pizza look like and I did ask for crispy and I did not think it was crispy whatsoever it was actually a little doughy and it was kind of annoying because I ordered such a simple Pizza I took a picture of the bottom of the pizza because when you asked for crispy it usually gets a little burnt up and this was nothing near that the pizza was barely warm after eating three slices the pizza was cold I could tell that obviously they gave me somebody else's Pizza that had sat in the window for a long time and they thought it was a good idea to try to resell it for $31 definitely not worth the price definitely will not be returning back to this location all I wanted was a nice hot pizza and I received a lukewarm Pizza I still like mountain Mike's but I will not go to this location anymore when you drive by it's always empty inside and now I know why their customer service is just out the window they don't care I don't recommend this location thank you for taking the time to read my review 😎
Okay finally I found a place in the neighborhood that makes a normal size pie after moving here, from New York! but seriously who the heck cuts pizza into one inch strips that are literally impossible to hold? I ordered one pie, not like I'm having a kids party. This should be 8 slices, not 20+. Are people expected to eat pizza with a knife and fork around here? What kind of barbarians am I surrounded by? One star, in part because of the above, but mostly because what's pictured was $50 before tax & tip (including $7 for "extra" sausage - which to their credit is nice and thickly cut) -- it should be $20 or $24 MAX given the location. Quality is typical for frozen pizza from any supermarket. Very bready and bland.

Place is a joke. Went to get pizza on the 50% off day as i have been going mountains mike for years for this deal. Fake manager tells me i need a code. The other cashier tells a customer i see your history here no need to sign up you already a client. I ask why the double standard. His reply becuse she can do that if she wants. I say look at all my previous orders. Tells me no again. You keep the pizza then buddy. Avoid this place at all costs. People need training and better customer service.
Pizza is good. But whoever the guy working the cash register on Nov 5 12:00pm is very rude. Was on his phone the whole time, did not properly attend the request. I asked if more of the pepperoni pizza was coming and instead of checking, he said “he thinks more is coming” and went back to being on his phone. I didn’t want to risk waiting for pizza that may or may not be coming so I had to ask again if more of the pepperoni pizza and he said “if there isn’t any coming, then we will make more” with attitude. I understand that but the purpose of me asking is so I’m not waiting unnecessarily wasting my time for pizza I properly requested and paid for. I simple “no problem, let me check and make sure” would have been good. Instead of guessing, ignoring and being rude with attitude
