Happy Friday only way to start the morning fresh and yummy

They are starting to do buffet at a later time which is great. They had on their menu sushi which all were delicious but my favorite one was the hot Cheetos one. They have a variety of food. I've also tried their micheladas and margaritas, delicious. The service was great too. Really recommend this place

I was so grateful we chose this place for lunch. We each had a combo plate. Pleasantly surprised by how much food was on each plate. Both were enough for two meals. Drinks were nice. Prices were not expensive. I don’t know why I thought it was the old restaurant in a new location. It isn’t. The newness and taste of the food was excellent. Service was great but loud inside after church. Will definitely go back again.

Enjoyed breakfast. Extremely flavorful! So far my best Mexican breakfast experience in Merced! I had the chiliquilles, and my guest had the supreme omelet , filled with delicious variety of tastiness. Even the chips and salsa were a delight, served with a warm bowl of refried beans for the table. I WILL be back and will highly recommend!

For a great tasting plate ora nice poured drink this is the prefect place! Make sure to try their lunch buffet even if its to go!

Great food and service!! Very attentive waitress and friendly enough to clear a booth for us as an extra convenience. My mom and I really enjoyed the chili colorado! The buffet was amazing, and we enjoyed the choices available. We'll definitely be back!

5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve been to La Hacienda Mexican Grill on 802 W. 16th St in Merced three times now, and every visit has been a great experience. The food is consistently delicious with large portions that leave you full and satisfied every time. Prices are very reasonable for the amount and quality you get — definitely not overpriced. The service is excellent — friendly, attentive, and welcoming. You can tell they genuinely care about making sure you have a good time. The drinks from the bar are also a great bonus and pair perfectly with the food. All in all, this place has become one of my go-to spots, and I’ll definitely continue to come back. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for tasty, authentic Mexican food in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere!

You must stop in for their homemade corn tortillas and perfectly grilled fajitas—they’re an experience in themselves. And even though we were already happily full, my husband (a self-proclaimed flan addict) couldn’t resist trying their flan. It was nothing short of spectacular—beautifully presented, rich, creamy, and paired with a decadent chocolate cake that took it to another level. Beyond the incredible food, the warm and welcoming family behind La Hacienda makes you feel like part of their family. The service was impeccable, and the hospitality from Diana and Brenda made our visits even more memorable. We’re already looking for excuses to return to Merced—just so we can bring the whole family to La Hacienda. If you’re in town, do yourself a favor and go. You won’t regret it!

Buffet is Super Big I tried Garlic Fish, Michelada Shrimps, Chicken Wings, BBQ Ribs, big Salad Bar sheeeeeeeeeeesh they got a lot of food Man! They are Very friendly People and hard working! I ordered the combination plate with carnitas enchiladas and green sauce. The meat was tender and flavorful, the sauce was bright and delicious served with sour cream. The beans were served lightly with cheese. The chips were crispy and salsa, again, very good. It was a great dinner as a visitor to merced.

It's OK! Better than most! Good classic Mexican food and nothing else!

The food was decent. I was expecting better. For and all you can eat place there wasn't very much food and while it is a seafood place there were only two Seafood things available which one said salmon but it was not salmon it was tilapia. Now why would I want to go to an all you can eat place to eat tilapia? I even asked the lady where is all the Mexican food because there were only a few options. Not bad food. I guess eating there once is good but not again

She said it was for our daughter eating. I said she didn’t go grabbing food, we just gave her some of ours, she said we couldn’t share our food with her. Again, she’s 1. I told her why wasn’t this mentioned to us when we sat down, she remained silent. I looked on their prices and nowhere did they have a “kids buffet” price, she then said for older kids it’s “$12.99” but for my daughter since she’s 1, was going to be $7.99. I can respect whatever prices restaurants set, but as we have came here before we have never been charged for her. If I had known she was going to be charged, I would have simply ordered her a plate, and taken whatever she didn’t eat home with us since most one year olds don’t eat much. Restaurants shouldn’t be “sneaky” about prices or kids item. And if it’s something that’s new and barely being implemented, have that on the sign where the other prices are or let it be known to customers with children. Food is great and we really do enjoy coming here however this was really upsetting as it came off as intentionally sneaky. Please do better being transparent with prices. So if you take your baby/toddler, just know they will also be charged as of 11/10/25 by sharing your food with them.

I put it a zero because the food was bad the birria tasted like it’s been a the freezer for more than three days, no desserts at all and when we asked if there were going to put some they ignored us, and we paid 86.38 for 2 children and 2 adults also bad Service.

Besides the flavor being bad, that got my order wrong, half the food was cold. One of the things I got was a cheese enchilada and the cheese wasn't melted at all and the tortilla still chewy from not being warmed all the way. Never will give them business again.

My wife ordered the rolled tacos and a burrito supreme.... I really don't know how anyone thinks this is great mexican food. It's mediocre at best. The tacos were burnt and the burrito had next to no flavor

I was waiting there to be sat down for like 10 minutes. I came alone. The lady said give me a sec. Than when more people came she sat the 2 groups after me. Like is I wasn't already waiting a whole 10 minutes. Thats Hella dirty. Definitely allot more places in town who won't waste my lunch break.

Food was good but pricey. it is really hot in the restaurant. I told the waitress it was really hot and she agreed but didn’t offer to lower the temperature. They probably don’t have a working AC because they had a small fan that didn’t do a thing. Besides that, there were fruit flies all over the restaurant. All the customers were so annoyed trying to shoo them away. Not a very pleasant experience for the pricey food.

Food took forever to come out with a party of 10 on a Thursday night with no one else in the dinning area, people showed up after us and got there food before us, and when the food came out it was cold and at the end they forgot a simple plate of carne asada fries with just meat and nacho cheese?? The simplest of dishes and they forgot it. Never coming back here again!! You would imaging if your the only ones it’s fast service but thing again!

The food didn't have much flavor at all aside from the rice which was a lot of garlic. The chile reyenos had a super cold center like it had been defrosted. Aside from that the price for it wasn't worth it, I don't recommend this one. The staff are super nice however and the restaurant is nicely cleaned.

I love salads and tonight I was disappointed beyond belief. Ordered a chicken salad to go and I received lettuce and chicken with an orange wedge..That was it! No dressing , no onion no cheese...nothing.... not even a fork to eat the salad. Come on LA Hacie da Mexican Grill, you should do better by the consumer. I will not be back!
