This is the only Wendy's (and fast food place) in town that i have ever been to that doesn't mess my order up and the food doesn't taste like it's been sitting around for hours under a warming lamp...its always hot & fresh and even with 8 cars in front of me I'm still thru the line with my food in 10 minutes max

Food is always solid at wendys, portions are shrinking which isn't the employees fault, or I would have redadcted a star. Good service.

First time having Wendy's when I visited this restaurant. Aside from some mechanical errors from the soda machine, it was a really good food. Keeping in mind that I don't really eat fast food, this was very good.

Stopped here on our way to Monterey for a bite to eat. Never had a Wendy’s before but I enjoyed it! I was used to McDonald’s prices and thought Wendy’s was like McDonald’s, so was quite shocked at the price but once I ate it I gave that another thought! Definitely worth the money. Very yummy fresh burger and good chips! Not a bad atmosphere on the inside, a bit like most fast food places. Would recommend.

A typical Wendy's. We had the prepackaged salads. Both were good. I found the standard size to be more than adequate. Half size was fine with my guest. Clean, newly remodeled location with TV and built in electronic wall type fireplace. Nice touch.

The merced Wendy's is probably the best Wendy's I've ever been to. Every time me and my family go here the food is always fast and hot, and they never mess up the order no matter how busy they are. Awesome highly recommend 👌

For almost 40 years, I've been on a quest to find the Wendy's where the ghost of Dave Thomas dwells. I now have a family, and although reluctant, they have joined me on my quest. This week we explored a Wendy's in Merced, CA. Unfortunately, his ghost remains elusive, but we did enjoy some good burgers and fries.

Wendy's usually always has good, fresh food. I've never had a problem at any Wendy's with late food; for some reason they're always on the ball. It's always been easy to eat inexpensively here, especially with their "4 for $4" menu. 2 of my longtime favorite menu items have been their "Jr. bacon cheeseburger" & their chicken nuggets (their honey mustard is my favorite anywhere).

Honestly, this is the nicest Wendy's I've ever gone to. The food was piping hot, the place was clean and has clearly been updated and remodeled recently. There was even a big screen TV! I wish my local Wendy's was as nice as this one!

Well let me start by saying we were driving a tesla and stopped across the st to charge. I recently had knee surgery and decided TO WALK to Wendy's having 4 kids in the car with me. So with that being said the DINING ROOM WAS COMPLETELY CLOSED DUE TO COVID. The manager was kind enough to let us come in to order our order. Top of the line customer service. Not to mention the food was fresh hot and good. It wasn't rushed and slapped together. Thank you to the crew that helped us!

I love the food at Wendy's. Always tastes fresh and overall really good. A while back I went in and placed a $4 meal order, I went to sit down and after waiting over 10 min I finally decided to go to the front to see why it was taking so long (I was the only customer inside). They hadn't realized I had been there, I guess the spot I was in was a bit concealing. Anyways after they realized what happened they went out of their way in apologizing, giving me a free dessert, and upgrading my frosty. Super nice of them

Fast Fun friendly service never too long of a line to wait in the Drive-Thru. Absolutely love their frosties they're the best. The parking lot is never too full and the inside is always clean. The restrooms are always nice and tidy and staff is very fun and friendly.

I ordered two baconater breakfast sandwiches one of them was a combo. I also ordered a French toast combo for my baby. Everything was fresh and delicious. I'd like to thank the wonderful drivethru worker. She took our order perfectly, repeated the order and then she upsold us two chocolate chip cookies. I am currently employed at a Jack in the Box and I was amazed by their friendliness, speed and customer service skills. You can definitely tell that this Wendy's is equipped with very intelligent individuals, with great work ethics. We will be ordering from this location again. This is 5 star service all the way around. 👏

I stop in whenever I'm at main Street, the frostys are good ice cream and the burgers are the best quality around. The bacon is usually pretty bland Though.

Wendy's new seating area is nice. It gives window seating to a good amount of people. There's a couple of comfy seats next to a t.v. and what looks like a fire place that adds a nice vibe. Wendy's food is always fresher than other fast food restaurants food. I should have definitely put more salt on the fries.

The food is yummy . One of my favorites is the 4 for 4 meal. It's plenty to make you full. Prices are decent . Line usually isn't to busy . Staff seems really chill.

We were on a road trip staying at a hotel. This Wendy's only had drive thru, no done in or walk up. We had to go back to our hotel because we were pulling a trailer. We did our 1st doordash. Super expensive for a combo meal $15, double cheese burger

We had a bit of a wait because there was a long line at the drive through when we arrived but once it got moving, it was pretty efficient and food was fresh and tasty.

While traveling through town we stopped here. We found the restaurant and restrooms clean. The food came quick and was good. Very nice to be able to stop from a long trip.

Good location to eat off of highway 99. Wendy's has its $4 offer plus a $5 biggie offer that you can try. The place is generally clean overall but the prices if you order one of the combos can be a bit pricey. However, when you add a cookie for 99 cents to a combo it is worth the price. Quality food and quality service. Wendy's slogan is "Where's The Beef" and you can Google it if you do not know what it means. Dave Thomas is the founder to the restaurant and they have been in business since 1969.

Feels like today was a really good day. I've had some ups and downs with this location. Whatever changes you have made kudos it has worked in your favor. I understand that working fast food is not always a pleasant business. However you never know what type of day your customer is having so it is important when you accept this position to remember you are in customer service and you never know who's coming through that drive-thru. For the patrons please remember that our customer service representatives are people too and should be treated as such. So try to be a little bit kinder and have some patience you never know what the last customer did. Also keep in mind these are the people preparing your food. Ijs. Restaurant was spot-on today bathroom smelling fresh floor shiny everyone smiling. Great job keep up the good work.

I love Wendy's burgers. They are my favorite burgers out of all of them. But the last time I was there I ordered a Dave's double with the meal. When I got home and opened my wrapper the bottom burger was only half the size of the top burger. I might have to change where I get my burgers. Their competitors are directly across the street.

The food is always hot and freshly prepared. Im always confident when I order from this place because I know the quality of the food here will be good. My only concern is just sanitation as in some areas of the restaurant could be cleaned a bit more such as the fountain drink area. If you're looking for a place that guarantees the food quality, this place is good for you.

We go here probably twice a month and for the most part it's pretty good. We really enjoy the food from here (the fries are warm sometimes), we usually get our sauces and the service is pretty good for the most part. We had a bad window service once out of the about 20 times we've been here and tried using online ordering but it didn't go well. Overall, the burgers are awesome, the chicken is delicious and the coke is pretty good. I recommend the Baconator and the saucy nuggs.

Had a cheap chicken sandwich after complaining I didn't want to go there. It was better than McDonald's.. I mean it wasn't as petrified.. it was actually moist. Loved it. Just had a sausage egg biscuit. $1 each. 5 limit. Even at regular price it is so much better then the other fast food places. The egg doesn't look processed. It's an actual fried egg. And the sausage was good and the biscuit just great and the whole thing looks attractive and colorful. Pictures attached

Our order wasn't taken properly, and when we got it, most of the orders were wrong. We paid almost $60 for fast food we will not go here again.

Drive through person was seemingly bothered, or just unfriendly. This didn't let me feel at ease to order so I rushed through that. We got our frosties and she gave them to me and said 'straws because they're kind of like milkshakes." Frosties shouldn't be served as *like milkshakes*, they're not milkshakes. I did not get a receipt.

The interior has been nicely redecorated, very contemporary style (like a cross between McDonald's and Starbucks). The updated drive thru menu is easier to read than before. Some nights the shift work is on top of everything, other nights can be questionable. Funny timing that Google asked for feedback today because I got my first 4"black hair in my fries today. I've been going here for over 20 years so, pretty good percentage? It's also relieving that it was clearly a hair from someone's head, not other body regions. So, yeah...

Wendy's usually strives for quality, especially when like this one, it competes with places like in & out. We went there because In & Out was packed, I was not pleased with my choice. You get coins to use restrooms, ok, unless you need to go, or that coin slot doesn't work. The meat in the 1/2 pound double was not fresh, may have been on grill 20 minutes, way over done and dry. Hardly any onion, I'm a big onion fan though. Had 3 or 4 old burnt fries in each of our 3 boxes, but the rest of the boxes contained fresh cooked fries. The cheeseburger for the kids, had a good of ketchup, rather than a light coating on the inside of the top bun.

Made a mobile order using a Promo. Waited 20min in line and they did not honor the promo. The chicken nuggets I had were not fresh, but still tasted good so they get 1 star. Good value on the food overall is another star. They get 1 more star for service. Being that this is fast food, they don't care about individuals. They just shrug their shoulders...I mean what can I do but do the same lol. So that's it...I don't think they accept any promos but I could be wrong.

Went there & got the limited time breakfast biscuits for a dollar they were good. Got 11 of them for 4 people for $11.93 . We all got full. It was fresh and warm. Went there for a second time now because we saw their Junior cheeseburger 444 meal. It was actually $5 we had to download the app make account and buy on app in the store for pickup to get the deal we did that we got two of these meals through the app it came out to $10 and some change Because some of the choices on the app that don't tell you upgrading the Frosty & pre sauced nuggets would add $1.50. food came out fries were hot the nuggets were warm and the hamburgers were room temperature a little bit disappointing but it was good. The portion size of the nuggets and hamburger and fries were small butt probably some of the cheapest fass food for 2 people I've seen for a while. Hopefully they keep the deals going with their dollar biscuits and their meal deals. In the store looks good has a bunch of options for different sizes of groups and has a lounge area it was cool 😎.

Same as any other fast food chain. Always a sloppy burger with wilted lettuce, soggy tomato and very little bacon on the baconator. One patty on the baconator which is a disgrace. They need to check their attitudes while making customer's food. The only thing that was presentable was the pineapple lemonade. If I pay for a meal, I should get the decency of what I pay for. So if your job is to make an appetizing meal for us to come back for... Do it right the first time. Learn customer etiquette from the manager to the employees.

It used to be one of the best. But my last visit was terrible. The food 'Fish Sandwich' was thrown together, no lettuce and the fries were dried strips of potatoes. Dissapointing!

This has been one of the worst experiences at Wendy's. At least, this location. Fries have been fresh maybe twice in the last 3 years. Today the fries tasted like they have been sitting out under a heat lamp for about 3 hours or so. Then they decide to give us the wrong order. The only reason they get two stars is because their chicken burgers are pretty good and fresh. Will be taking our business elsewhere despite their chicken quality.

Passed through here while on vacation. The employee at the window got our order confused, forgot our waters and the drink carrier, then forgot to give the credit card back. After realizing the credit card was missing, we turned around and came back to Wendy's. We waited in a 12 car line for roughly thirty minutes and asked if there was anything we could be given for our troubles. The female worker adamantly refused and wouldn't even give us a coke, burger, gift card, or any form of compensation after wasting nearly an hour of our time, gas, and taking no responsibility for messing up the order and neglecting to return the credit card.

Cooks are so stupid they can't even properly cook fries and serve them raw. And they want $20 an hour.... glad robots will be taking over

So ordered in the app and set a time to pick it up. We got there at the time for pick up there was 2 customers inside eating and we still had to wait over 10 minutes for our order. While standing there we noticed their counter was very very dirty. As I stood there waiting I realized my shoes were sticking to the floor. The smell as we were standing there was a piss smell Got the order went to the car and realized they forgot my fries so we had to go back in and the worker was rude so another worker came up so I asked for the fries I should have already gotten. He was very apologetic. So we leave and on the way home started to take a drink of orange soda and realized it was orange Hi-C. All I can say is don't go to work HIGH if you can't do your job Never going back again

I'm not sure what happened to Wendy's and maybe it was just a lack of fresh inventory, but I used to get a full slice of onion, a full slice of tomato and leafs of lettuce and now I'm getting something closer to Pico de gallo. I guess I would call it. It's gross. I'm hoping this was a one-off but yuck. The burger was fine after I scraped off the Pico with lettuce

Place wasn't kept very clean. Went in on a very slow day where there was no one in the restaurant or in the drive-thru, so I didn't understand why most of the tables and floor were filthy. Was not comfortable eating inside at all and made me question the overall cleanliness behind the counter where they make and prepare the food, if they couldn't even keep the dining area clean. Wendy's has definitely gone down hill.

This location has usually been decent, but the last few times were just bad. I love Wendy’s since it’s one of the last fast food places that serves real food. Depending on who is working, you will get pleasant, attentive customer service or you will get workers who don’t care in the slightest. Sometimes I don’t get napkins with a 6 bag order. Sometimes my fries are undercooked and soggy, but I understand you’re busy and I’m not the only order. This location always forgets the straws and Frosty spoons which isn’t a big deal. Today they forgot the chicken in my sandwich, which is the only other ingredient beside honey butter. I work in customer service and try to be understanding, but this is a level of carelessness I’ve never experienced. I don’t know what else to say but you’ll have better luck somewhere else. I was going to give 3 stars, but the response I received on the phone to this complaint is what gave them 2.

The lady who took the drive thru order at 8:00pm tonight 4/31/16 was the rudest lady and pretty nasty as well she had given me my total at the window then purposly kept me waiting for 5min with my hand out it was so obvious she seen me and purposly kept typing on the register then when she gave me the frostys 🍦 two of the lids were off and they were spilling everywhere when i asked her to please replace the lid mind you the cups were covered on the outside with ice cream she said ok and used a dirty dish rag to clean the cup REALLY especially around the top where my child would have put his 5 year old mouth i just took the food and left i didnt want to know what else she would have done to my young childrens food and when i tried to call to talk to the manager the phone rang twice for a total of 10 min with no answer trust and believe that is a law suit right there hopefully they start to train the employees better then that!! #healthcodeinspectionsneeded#customerservicetrainingneeded#

No A/C, No Fans , it was a staggering 90 degrees in the restaurant. Every single worker was flushed and sweating bullets while cooking and preparing food. I felt so bad for them. What put the nail in the coffin for this review was the worker commenting to another worker that the A/C HAS BEEN BROKE FOR 2 WEEKS....... customer service was excellent though , those workers in Merced need to get an Oscar because there is no way in Hell I would be in there sweating for 2 weeks , 8 hrs a day...

Got the summer salad, it was so gross. Lettuce was wilted, bacon was burnt, strawberries were mushy. I think they sold me an expired salad. And the drive thru wait was long!

Covid is contained. Open your bathrooms. Deal with the homeless a different way. This whole town seems to be 3 months behind the rest of the world. Zero indoor or outdoor dining, no bathrooms. Everywhere else this is not the case. My kids need to eat AND use the restroom. My money went to the business in which they could do both, Taco Bell right next door.

I ordered sour cream and chives baked potato. I received no receipt. There was no salt or pepper which every Wendy’s I’ve been to has and no senior drink. This was the worst baked potato I’ve ever had at a Wendy’s restaurant

I got the number 8 and at first i didn’t feel anything.But my stomach started hurting and then at 1 in the morning i threw up for 2 minutes.It didn’t stop and after i threw up my stomach stopped hurting.I didn’t eat anything besides this, so im blaming it on Wendy!

Went through the drive through. The menu board was not lit up. Ordered 2 burgers . Charged for 2 with cheese but neither had cheese. So a common practice to RIP off customers. Why not charge for a burger. Will make sure my friends are aware of this process. Very disappointed.

If I could give them 0 🌟 s I would.. my husband and I had to park out front and wait for someone to bring our order out. We spent 14$ ( two homestyle chicken sandwiches & two 10 piece chicken nuggets & medium chocolate frosty) waited almost 15 minutes and all they brought out to us was ONE chicken sandwich! & Told us that was all we ordered. lol worst customer service ever. I waited for the drive through to order for about 10 minutes and after paying with my credit card they never gave it back. After driving back to retrieve my card I had to wait in another 15 minute line. I also talked to one of the workers about it and they were very rude in their responses. To put things in perspective, I'm on a road trip with one of my friends and if I didn't realize that my card was never returned to me, my financials would've been in shambles. My friend has already gotten his credit card taken by another Wendy's on this road trip in a separate state. Wendy's is not a fast food chain that I would put my trust in any longer.

Me and my kids went through the drive-thru last Sunday and customer service is below zero. The lady at the window was so rude. She didn't even greet us plus I was over charged and she have to call someone to do a refund and it take forever. That cashier does not need to serve customer. With that attitude, your customer will fly away soon.

I’ve ordered from here twice in the last couple months, somehow they’ve managed to get me the wrong order twice. Not simply forgetting a special request, but the wrong burger or sandwich completely and it’s clearly NOT what’s even on the receipt. Poor management or employees that just can’t comprehend how to make a simple order.

We stopped by this Wendy's on our way out of California. Customer service wasn't great, cashier's weren't very friendly. I had to use the restroom before leaving and when I went to get a bathroom coin from the cashier I was told to "knock first" because their restrooms are gender neutral. I knocked and proceeded into the restroom. I was a little worried someone would try to enter seeing as there was no lock on the door, and just as I was going to sit down, a man walked in. Totally frightening and embarrassing. Maybe a better option would be adding locks on the inside?

Just got home from picking up at the drive thru. One the fries are extremely cold and soggy. Two my order was all messed up. I asked for no pickles and to add jalapenos. Instead they took away the tomatoes and did not add the jalapenos. Really angry at them for this.

If I could give negative stars Inwould give negative 3. The drive through server was extremely rude, like she hates her job. Then I check my baked potato and chive (pregnancy craving) and it had rotten black marks all over it. It was covered in old yellow discolored spoiled chives. It was shriveled up like it was seriously dehydrated and quite the unhappy potato. It made me sick looking at it. I don't trust the people that work there to not sabotage the food if a complaint was made I did call and ask the manager to retrain the driver through order taker. And also to ask that the employees check the fridge for rotten spoiled and old food. This place is disgusting. I haven't eaten there in years, perhaps this is why. Gross.

The chicken in my "Bar B Que Chicken sandwich" was RAW! Then, when I went back for a refund, the manager charged me twice instead of refunding me... Never going back there again!

Sorry to say, this place used to be a destination for me and the kids. Burger was under cooked, cold and honestly tasted like floor. Fries were luke warm and stale. They were zero on the frosty, the sodai offered had barely any flavor and was flat. Guy at the window, had a blank look on his face and when I went in to complain, I turned back and walked out. No use in trying to get it replaced, didn't even want my money back. They used to be one of the best burgers I'd ever had. Not sure where the quality went, but, oh well

TERRIBLE Customer Service here! We had a problem with our order and we spoke to the manager on duty which he did nothing. He refused to give his name saying "I don't have to" so we ended up going through the drive thru and asked the cashier for the managers name. Javi (ha vee) the manager was rude, does not know how to handle customer complaints and can not communicate respectfully with customers. I've never had a problem with this Wendy's until that night and will not be going back. The service is extremely slow in both the dining room and drive thru.

Ill start off with, customer service was good. I come here all the time. But this time the food was just garbage. I had ordered the $7 Bacon Double Stack biggie bag, my sandwich had no BACON ON IT. Fries, cold and unbearable. Threw them away. The nuggets were luke warm. And my drink, tasted like it was just syrup. Will not be coming back.

Ordering was fine on the Kiosk but I was not allowed to use my coupon from the app. Then when I tried to order at the desk to use the coupon but they didn't offer the same menu as at the kiosk. With almost nobody else in the restaurant, we waited for about 10 minutes for the food. Then when we got the food it did not taste fresh at all. The buns were cold. The jr bacon cheese burgers were tiny and very plain looking. I ordered a bacon double stack and literally had to check each burger twice before finally finding the second patty on one of them. Definitely not worth the extra price. Worst burger I have had in a very long time. This was the first time I have eaten at wendys in years and will definitely be the last. This restaurant chain has really changed for the worse.

She was a little rude and didn't care that it was still being advertised on local television. I was shocked at her $25 an hour job behavior.

I’ve been wanting a jr cheese burger deluxe for a while now so we went to the Wendy’s in Merced Ca. I was so disappointed with the quality of the food and the long wait just to get cold burgers. The burgers were cold and the buns were hard. The fries were not very good either and we were so disappointed. You would think you would get better quality because of the experience prices you are paying for these burgers. So disappointed!!!!
