I had great service! one thing I noticed is the lady who was at the drive-thru window. This is something I like that I hadn't seen and you have to ask them for napkins to do it yourself is wipe down the cup sometimes the Coke will spill over the side and then just leave it all sticky. she actually did it and I didn't even have to ask. Not a big deal but sometimes it's just the little things that matter.

I wanted my chicken cooked fresh and they did without a problem.

First church has ever been in that people wouldn't sliding back and forth across the floor with the grease. First churches I went in food is piping hot service is very very friendly the atmosphere is very clean. The clerk there waiting on me was a very talkative in friendly man. I will return again and again as long as I get that same energy

The manager and her staff went above and beyond to make sure my large order was correct. They triple checked and even offered a free dessert since I had a short wait.

The chicken was really crispy outside, juicy and tasty. Their coleslaw is really wonderful. One of the best things I noted there is the taste of their sodas and water. They are filtered and hence no taste of Chlorine. And their restrooms were tidy too. I would definitely recommend this place.

We ordered Church’s Chicken while driving home from Mesquite to McKinney, last week and even after the trip, the food was still fresh! The chicken, biscuits, and sides were all delicious. I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

My food arrived warm except for my sprite 😆. Prior to my order being fulfilled I received a call advising me that they didn't have any spicy chicken and if original would be okay. I advised original was fine and thanked the caller for checking with me. It seems sad an early order after they opened for business wasn't available. Minus that hiccup everything was tasty and enjoyable.

My brother and I came for some dinner .. we loved the guy in the drive thru window. The best service ever and was very honest

Gave 4 stars because I was a little disappointed this last visit. The cashier told me the chicken was up for 7 mins, got home and it taste like it was up since that morning. Disgusting! However usually the chicken here is always hot and fresh. This location is not that close to me but I drive to it because they usually never disappoint......I dont know what happened?! And the guy manager is great! Staff customer service is a 10!

First this is nothing against the two young men that assisted me because they were extremely courteous and helpful regarding my whole ordeal... so I decided to place an online order for dinner for my family and we all love Church's chicken... I placed an order for the chicken tenders family meal with the two large sides of Mac and cheese plus mashed potatoes and gravy and a small fry for the ride home lol.. I got extra gravy because there's never enough (cream gravy is better with tenders LoL). I also ordered the jalapeno poppers and 2 apple pies and a half gallon of sweet tea because they have great tea but I'll get to the last 2 items later. So I received my order and the young man at the window was sweet enough to give me a cup of ice water because I was extremely hot... I left without checking my order because I had broken my leg and ankle the day before and I was hurting. But half way home I was trying to find my Fries when I noticed that my sweet tea wasn't in the bag so I turned around and went back and they were extremely helpful and apologized for not putting in with my order... now on to the food review... the Fries were hot which I love, the tenders and biscuits are always on point. The sides were hot and delicious but the lid on the Mac and cheese was completely damaged and it leaked in the bag the mashed potatoes leaked as well and the peppers were leaking in their bag and into the big bag. Now the apple pies... I ordered 2 but got one so I gave it to my sister...the frosting is amazing but so creamy and thick the pie stuck to the box lol. Now the tea...we still drank it but we could tell that it was on its last day and not fresh because it had an old taste. Other than that a great dinner and I'll definitely be back

I picked up a family deal for the kids. The sides could have been a tad bit bigger, but not bad with the overall economy and all. The chicken could have had more flavor, but that's it. Overall, great choice, great price.

The chicken was good as always and fresh. But we had to wait for a good 45 minutes in line to order with only 4 people in front of us. Three people came back with orders that were wrong and one man left. The man behind the counter may have been new but he moved so slow a turtle could have won the race. Sad because it is very good chicken.

The food took longer than expected. I probably waited about 30 minutes for the chicken after initially being told it would be a 9 minute wait. But the employees were very nice and gave me a free drink and a couple of extra pieces of chicken for my troubles. The food is always fresh and hot so I don’t complain about the wait much. The biscuits are incredible! And the $35 grande meal deal price cannot be beat. Definitely recommend!

It's pretty good...I mean it's church's fast food. The food is usually hot & fresh and the staff is really courteous. Though a few times I have stopped to get an order and they would be out of the country steak.

I rarely eat fried chicken, but I decided to splurge a bit. I had been craving fried chicken for awhile, so why not. I basically just went thru the drive thru real quick. Great customer service and she also recommended a different meal option that was alot less. I found that to be rather helpful as well. I was In and out quickly.

Back in the day, churches chicken was really good, but then at one point, they had really feel off in the way it tasted. I have no idea what was going on around the time, so I just stopped eating at all locations. Then a few months ago, my son took me out to eat at one on lake June, and I've been hooked again every since, lol. It was delicious and right on time. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because at a certain location, when I order the 3 piece which comes with a leg and 2 thighs for $3.99,a certain employees won't let me exchange the leg for another thigh. If I'm paying for an order and don't like certain parts of a chicken, why can't I exchange it for what I want. It really shouldn't be such of a big deal and they will tell me I have to pay extra money for the exchange, but I only have this problem at one churches chicken.

Really small inside and not family friendly! We had to pull tables together just to sit together. And food took pretty long to get, figuring this is supposed to be fast food. But chicken is chicken, not bad, and it fills your stomach.

The inside was closed due to construction and they didn't have the zing spice that the other has, but there is technically 2 different kinds of Churchs Chicken!

They made the food fresh but the moment our food tray was given to us management jumped on their phones along with employees. DIDN'T ASK IF WOULD NEED ANYTHING EXTRA. I couldn't get anyone back to the counter for some additional sauces. Plus, they spoke in English when taking our order but then talk in Spanish when we are standing at the counter and they are preparing the food (About spectrum & at&t). Could work on the customer service at the counter.

Every time I go here for the same thing. They do the same thing. I order corn nuggets. This my 6th time 3 at this location and 3 other different locations. When I returned this time they cooked me some fresh. Maybe I'll keep trying or just give it up. For the Love of 🌽 nuggets. Thanks manager for the fresh batch.

The customer service was fine. I ordered 3 piece mixed. I got a wing, thigh, and a leg. The wing was fried so hard I couldn't eat the skin. The other two pieces were ok. I remember church 's having more flavorful chicken. The best part of my meal was the baked Mac n cheese and the biscuit. I won't be visiting this location for a while.

Tenders were cold and old. Mash potatoes were good though, the inside was clean, and customer service was good, not amazing but good. Their were only 3 employees working at around 8pm and that’s a little bit for the work they need to do, by running the window to taking orders to running the front counter, they at least need 4. Fries tasted fresh too, just the tenders were cold :(. Hit or Miss location.

I don’t know what you’re expecting, but you’re probably going to find it at Church’s. Since when did they add in the “Texas Chicken” anyways? I guess it’s better than Oklahoma Chicken. Placing an order here was a chore, the speaker works half as good as it should and the employee struggled to speak to me or understand what I said. Of course my order was wrong, but I was so frustrated that I realized turning around to make them fix it would force me to speak to them again. So I just said forget it. Chicken was fine. It’s fine. It’s just fine.

Yesterday I went to get some spicy chicken. It cost me $10.00 for 8pc of chicken I order. When I got home I decided to eat some fresh chicken at my kitchen table. And guess what the first bite of the chicken I took taste like. The crispy skin of the chicken felt hard like a rock. The inside of the chicken felt like it was left outside for hours.

Food was not fresh spent $52.00 biscuits with dry and hard.. fries was a big no.. should've checked the food before I drove off... Ughhhhh

My order was wrong. I brought it to their attention and they corrected their mistake. Other people walked in complaining about the day before orders being wrong or cold. This poor manager got the shaft. While I was there he gave away about 25 dollars of free food. Not cool. Some people.

Last couple of times I've bought chicken pieces are old and dried up. Very disappointing compared to past times.

The service is horrible. I believe in order to keep the time down that they service a customer they only allow one customer to place an order have them go through the drive thru and complete their order while u wait to place your order. Once that person is gone, they then allow you to place you order and then proceed to pay and get your food. The food is good but the service is trash that could be put in the dumpster.

Quality / temperature of food was horrible. Service was friendly, but why be friendly if you're going to lie to my face when I ordered extra crispy fries and asked you to confirm that they were extra crispy but they taste like they've been sitting around for an hour or more? Also, the tenders tasted like they were cooked quite some time ago - not fresh at all. Will not return.

One of the better of the chain restaurants. I used to love Church's. It was the first place I ate at as a child. The quality definitely has gone down, and they face a lot of competition nowadays. The biscuits are great and so are the deserts. I also like the batter they cook with. Way better than Golden Chick or KFC in my opinion. The other side of the coin however at this location is that staff are RUDE and don't apply proper hygiene for handling food.

The receipt shows what I paid for. The other pic shows what I got. No jalapeño, no apple pie dessert. I hate to be in a rush and not check my order, but I should be able to trust my clerk to give me the correct order.

First time here and I must say the greens beans are bland. They didn't have Mac n cheese. They were also advertising sweet potatoe casserole but apparently they didn't have sweet potatoes. I also found a hair in the chicken. Definitely will not go there again.

Ordered chicken strip meal..chicken was dried all the way out, I didn't get my drink, fries were old and cold. Went back up there to tell them in a nice way. Sadly they did not resolve the issue. Iwill not be going back!

I had a coupon off Church's website, but they said they couldn't honor it because it's not in their system, yet I go to the Church's in Garland and they put in codes on the coupons. If you're having issues accepting coupons, you should work to get that fixed instead of trying to offer customers less food for the same amount of money.

This place is TERRIBLE! Seriously Everytime I’ve made a visit past 8pm there’s never chicken nor tenders. They took our complete order over $30, told us to drive to the window just to be told 5 minutes later that they didn’t have the tenders/chicken. The manager or so she calls herself that, is very rude and not helpful at all. I use to work for this place years back and our customer service could never be this bad! Very disappointed. I hope this improves soon. I rather make the drive to garland just because of CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Been to 2 different churches and neither had white meat. Only offered legs and thighs. The new peach cobbler is gross. It's just diced peaches on a dry hard biscuits. Biscuits should NOT be crunchy. I asked for original got greasy spicy chicken.

I went inside to place an order. They could give us the full order because they didn’t enough sides. We settled with just the chicken. Once we arrived home we noticed that the chicken was dark when we had ordered regular chicken. The chicken was not even spicy it was burned! We talk to a guy and we told him what had happened he started making fun of me and that I was a Karen following with the question who I voted for. He refused to give me his name. We are very dissatisfied with the service and chicken. If I could give no stars I would as this is a bit ridiculous

This chicken is horrible! I watch the Hispanic manager (lady) cut a bag of chicken open didn't wash the blood off and place it rite in the batter and fry it, after she took dirty money at the counter. Never once washed her hands. The chicken has no taste I'll never eat at this location again.Then she was rude smh I'll stick with Williams chicken on 80 the best chicken in mesquite.

Took 30 minutes in the driver with 1 car ahead of me. After we were told it would be 15 for the chicken to be ready (Saturday evening and nothing was made). After 30 minutes, I go inside to find out the problem and I was scolded and said they didn't forget about me and was obviously irritate that I asked how much longer. Chicken was good, okra way over fried and forgot to give me dipping sauces I requested and received SWEET tea instead of UNSWEET that was stressed for my diabetic husband. Mr Trejo is awesome, but was obvious he wasn't at work on May 8 because this would have never happened if he was there!

Church's has suffered a huge set back with the quality of their food. A once family favorite has turned into a never visit again. We had stayed away from their restaurants for the past four years. We have it another chance a couple of days ago and their original chicken was old and dry. The once delicious, crispy and fresh food is now old, stale and has no flavor. I mourn for the loss of a family friend.

Horrible, worst food I've had. The food was extremely cold. The mac and cheese was watery and had a brown clump, it was DISGUSTING... the jalapeño bombers were so cold that the cheese inside was clumpy as well. The chicken wasn't cooked right, the middle was still raw. We had to throw most of the food away. I'm very disappointed and we feel sick after eating what seemed edible. I do not recommend this place, you will get sick after eating here. It's way too pricey for the food to come out tasting this bad.

When I came through the drive thru Juan had a list of things they didn’t have. I made my order then was told I had to pay extra because I wanted two Mac and cheese. I asked to speak to a manager he said there is no manager then said we just have assistant manager and I can talk to them once I get to the window. I get to the window and Maria Morales says okay we’ll give you the Mac and cheese but it’s 15 to 20 mins on chicken. Chicken at a chicken. SMH. Arrived at 9:32pm and 10:13pm still no chicken. Maria then says I’m not the manger you have a complaint and when I said yes she closes the drive thru window in my face and leaves. Never came back. I was given the manager name Rodrigo Sovala so when I call I hope he makes this right.

Never been so disappointed eating chicken. Came by during my lunch and was expecting good tasting chicken. The chicken they gave me tasted old and not fresh. Ordered a 10pc half spicy half original. The spicy chicken didn’t even taste spicy. At least I had a good drink…

The workers didn’t acknowledge me when I walk in. Didn’t even say I will be with you soon they just kept on chatting with each other . After a 5 minute wait the man behind counter didn’t apologize, he just said what can I get you… wow Customer service at its finest.. you he staff need more coaching on how to greet their Customer.

Visited today 10/30/2021 customer service was awful, asked for jalapeno sauce and was told I could only get one. I got NO napkins, the workers act like the condiments are coming out of their checks..I will not be back, terrible service and the staff always seems to be arguing with customers. Report them to corporate if this happens to you maybe something will get done. The place looks clean a lot better than before and food is fresh. The new manager is doing a good job, but the ladies that work there lack customer service. They seem to get mad when people ask for condiments, plates, napkins and utensils. I bought a 12 piece asked for plates they gave me 2 I asked for 3 more and the lady asked how many pieces did you buy😤 like the darn paper plates are coming out of her pocket, and 5 napkins.

I came here at 9:30pm wait 20 mins to get my food, I get home eat one of four tenders I brought because I noticed it was still pink I threw away the rest and the next morning I start to vomit like crazy, and started having stomach cramps. Went to doctor and turns out I got salmonella poisoning for the tender. So thank you guys for putting through all this pain. I already called the health department and you should be getting a visit soon. Also you will be getting a visit from my lawyer. Stay away from this place!!!!! Biohazard!!!!!!!

I said no you charged for mix,because I paid $10.80 for my order . He in turn give me $1.05 change. He would not give me mix.Why? Because the surly had white meat also. But even so he still charged me$9.75. I didn't mind paying for what I asked for. I was really hungry after being at the hospital all day with,my Grandchild. They never do right at this churches.

This was the worse place I've eaten at yet! My fries were stale, my "biscuit"was not even a biscuit it was just broken crumbs. But the worse part was the really dry OLD (IT WAS GRAY INSIDE). I broke them in pieces hoping not all were old but then i came across a piece that had slimmy puss ... Lost my appetite & Trashed all it .... Save your money and eat somewhere else!

I came through the drive thru order 2- 3 piece mix combo original.. 2 breast and 1 leg in each box. 1 had side of okra with lemonade drink. The other box had 2 breast and 1 leg original with mashed potatoes gravy on the side , but the guy told me there no gravy.so I had to take what he had. My other order were 3 piece dark chicken original. But I got home my chickens were spicy could not eat it or my mom couldn't eat it. To spicy which we did not ask for. Can't call your establishment cause it say you have no mailbox set up to receive call or message. This is really frustrating 😤. I spent over $31 and could not eat this spicy chicken.

I went through the drive through and the cashier was sweeping the floor. I assumed he would wash his hands after doing that, but he chose to scoop up an order of fries. I will not be visiting this location again.

I placed an order, I let them know twice what I ordered. I was given the wrong order then the guy at the window gave me attitude. He asked if I wanted medium I said no small, then proceeded to charge me for a large. He got mad I told him he gave me the wrong order and then gave me smaller pieces of chicken as well. Just a heads up to everyone, you can always dispute transaction smaller than $20 with your bank without a problem. You can legally get your money back for poor service and also when you are charged incorrectly for items. So if the restaurant gives you ANY amount of pushback you did your part, just go to the bank after that and tell them they didn’t want to help. The food is always good though, can’t say a bad thing about that.

This place has become the worst recently. Reading the 1 star reviews seems exactly right. After making us wait for 30+ mins they gave the order wrong and completely messed up. Pieces looked reheated and super hard to eat. This was not the churches chicken known for. Customer service is the worst. They don’t care about customers.

Manager Trejo as he named himself receipt says Eusebio T very rude they were short staffed food was not hot or fresh drive thru was priorized when there was only one car in line when I arrived but they helped 3 cars while I wanted, was still charged separately for pepper and biscuit when I showed him app only charges .99 which I wasnt able to order on im guessing online ordering was turned off since they were short staffed, I was rushed and not valued as a customer I spent over 10 minutes in line waiting to order with only 1 other order in front of me. Poor English which mean poor communication never again will I eat here!

3/16/24 - location on Galloway. Unfortunately, my walk in experience was horrible. Two young males working the front, no acknowledgment, they just looked at me and said nothing. I guess they were waiting for the counter person to say hi because they can’t speak. Finally after two minutes, the manager came and said, what would you like? He didn’t say hello either. I ordered a 2 piece, asked for two thighs. When I arrived home, I couldn’t wait to eat it because I was craving chicken. What a mistake it was buying from here. First of all, I didn’t get my two thighs like I requested, I guess the male manager does not accept requests. Second of all, they looked burnt brown and small. I took a bite and yes, the chicken tasted burnt maybe because it was old oil. The only good items were the mashed potatoes and biscuit. The total of my meal was $10.60 and what a waste of money coming here. I dislike leaving bad reviews because I love to support my community but this experience was not worth driving to in the rain and my money. Owner/management, train your employees to acknowledge the customer’s when they walk in the door. In general, if anyone is not happy at their job, where you work with people 24/7, you are in the wrong place. I don’t think I’ll ever go back due to the small, burnt chicken pieces and no good customer service unfortunately. Buyer beware! If you decide to support this location, ask if they are frying in fresh oil.

Unfortunately this is not the Church's Chicken I remember and prefer. The mac and cheese was gummier than Haribo. I gave it to my baby. The chicken tenders were tough like jerky and the okra felt and taste like grease pebbles (zoom in for yourself and see how hard the okra was fried and how uneven the cook looked). I'm sure they fried and refried the chicken and okra. I tasted old grease and couldn't even finish. If we're to pay inflation prices, we should be able to have better service. Not the this next comment is at the fault of the employee BUT it still was a part of the poor experience: my cup leaked fruit punch.

I just placed an online order for a 16 piece tenders and two large Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. I showed up to pick up my order and was told they have no tenders and no mac and cheese. They flat out refused to give me a refund! I will never be back, and neither should you! You don't deserve the one star I had to give you in order to give this review.

Avoid this place at all cost messed up order again I was the only car in drive thru I order 3 peace tenders got 3 peice chicken and they forgot my mash potatoes 3 rd time trying this place and everytime they mess up order maybe cuz they can't speak English or they just don't know how to take orders but avoid at all possible this one needs to get shut down

This was my first and last time going to this location. I went to the drive thru to get a 6pc hot honey lemon pepper wing only... that's literally how I placed the order. The hispanic man asked me 3x how many pieces and was it a combo or wings only and still asked me again after he had my order sitting in the window if I was sure that I didn't want the combo... and the taste was horrible🥴. They need to leave the flavored wings to Popeyes. A $7 waste.

They never have it together at this location. They are always understaffed and get orders wrong. I’ve made it a habit to never order delivery from this location for that reason. I also always do my pick up inside the building so I can have them fix any errors in real time. I pull up today on a Sunday night at 845 PM and they have locked all their doors and refused to acknowledge knocking. The door clearly had the hours of operation up for display, confirming they locked their doors before business hours ended. If it weren’t for location being down the street from my home, I would never come here. I had no choice but to use drive thru. I come home and of course my order is wrong. Of course it is. I ordered tenders. LAST time I went to pick up my order and they did this to me they were like “we’re out of tenders so that’s why I gave you that” With no heads up. I’m sure that man, the Spanish speaking manager (I’m Mexican and we’ve spoken to each other in Spanish) decided he’d make another “executive decision” without consulting the customer. I would’ve 1000% asked for a refund had he told me there were no tenders. I also didn’t get my biscuits or my large side. Their doors are already locked so what’s even the point of going back? This place is the worst

Manager was a man he was extremely rude, took our order incorrectly and upon returning to get it fixed he would ignore me every time I asked for something because he kept walking off with an attitude. Do NOT go there. My order was still incorrect after trying to get it fixed 3 times and at that point the manager which is the same man who took my order refused me service. Worst experience of my life.

A lot of people order online to avoid the hassle of ordering at the speaker and to have their food ready when they arrive. That’s the whole point. At this location, though, it didn’t work that way. I ordered and paid online, but when I got there, he told me it would be up to an hour before the order even showed up on their end. Even though I offered to show my receipt and prove I paid through the app, he said he couldn’t do anything and had to wait until the order appeared.

Sometimes my order isn't right. I will never return even though minutes away from house. I spent $35 on chicken which had to be from the day before and dry and old. I took pictures of it to make sure they couldn’t deny it. Reached out to corporate with no response. I couldn’t take all my stars away or I would.
