This establishment has been open maybe before 1993 but that's as far back as my husband can remember...he never stops talking about the fried wings hold the hot sauce...most especially his own concoction, which he orders on the side, that consist of teriyaki dipping sauce with hot chilli oil(shh, don't tell him I told you) ..it's pretty good...we also ordered the beef teriyaki combo and fried tofu...more intimate dining place...but also has a drive-thru and take-out available...
Amazing pricing for the portion sizing , food is always hot , fresh, and delicious. My go-to for Chinese food.
Friendly staff, and the food was very fresh and well seasoned (and not too salty)! :) I got sesame chicken with rice and was very satisfied :) The lunch specials are good deals, only $8.99, and include soup or a soda (but no veggies). FYI, I learned this today: Chow Mein does not come on noodles; you sprinkle crunchy noodles over the dish (which consists of meat & veggies in sauce). If you wan Lo meat & veggies over noodles, order Lo Mein. 😊
Been goin here for years since my sister told my about. Food is always been great, never been disappointed. It feels a little cramped inside but that because its small mom n pop kind of eatery but you will like the food . I definitely recomend
From Start to finish Drive thru - drive thru took a little while but it's fine because I'm assuming everything is made fresh so not bad - Food Was Hot, Made Fresh, Represented Well, and made with perfection I have nothing bad to say about my visit and will be visiting again It Was Good 👍🏾
I order some Shrimp Egg Foo Young and what they gave me was a few tiny Shrimp with some water chestnut and carrots vegetables cooked in a brown sauce. When any kind of Egg Foo Young is supposed to be fried into a Egg batter until it is a crispy golden brown patty. That is served with gravy and white or fried rice and I would have returned it but I did not open the bag that it was in until I had gotten home and I was very disappointed.
Tonight I ordered mushroom chicken with added cabbage. It was so delicious 😋 The mushrooms were large, tender and beefy...the chicken was white meat...and the carrots and cabbage tender. The picture attached was taken after I already ate half of the order! Huge portion and worth every bite. Definitely will order again!
Mr. Teriyaki has been a steadfast favorite of mine for the past decade, consistently delivering exceptional service, outstanding food quality, and unbeatable prices. During my ten years in Dallas, I have frequented this establishment and have never left disappointed. As my family has grown from a party of three to seven, Mr. Teriyaki has continued to impress us with its affordability, allowing us to enjoy a hearty meal for just $73. The teriyaki chicken is a standout dish, perfectly balancing smoky and savory flavors that complement the fresh steamed rice and vegetables beautifully in every bite. The crab rangoon is generously portioned, and the potstickers are bursting with flavor. What sets Mr. Teriyaki apart from other Asian restaurants is the generous selection of shrimp and beef fried rice, ensuring a satisfying and complete dining experience. For those contemplating a visit, I wholeheartedly recommend diving in. Mr. Teriyaki is a solid ten out of ten, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a delightful dining experience in Dallas.
This is so good I’m interrupting, eating to make sure I do the review. The food taste fantastic. The appearance is unbelievable. Don’t believe reviews when people use GrubHub I have been looking for great Chinese food but I’d have to drive from Oklahoma City to Mesquite to get this again. But I just might do it. Szechuan chicken with extra vegetable.
Ordered the combination fried rice with extra shrimp. They gave a good amount of shrimp for an extra 2$ not bad at all! Overall it was really good and filling. The chicken was a little tough but the shrimp and beef overcame that so here’s 4 stars 🙂 also they didn’t give no soy sauce or any sauces but it’s all good!
Hmm clean establishment. I ordered the kung pow chicken and my wife ordered sesame chicken. The sesame chicken tasted much better than the kung pow chicken. Packaging seems small but portions are large. I want to like it but the chicken tastes boiled then rolled in sauce. It was rather lacking in flavor. The veggies were crunchy but not diverse. My meal consisted of carrots, celery, chicken, bell peppers, and about 5 peanuts. If the average means I will get mild food poisoning. Then this place is above average but flavor was bland and texture was gross. Not worth $12 and probably won't come back.
Great food but refused to place my order because I wanted egg foo young! Won’t be ordering here ever again
Quite slow. But bought 2 lo mien melas. Absolutely no protein in the entire dish they put a lot of noodles to compensate what they’re giving you anything. Hell no it’s not no protein whatsoever you might as as well, buy your own meat at Kroger and make it yourself for real do not go by there scammers. Look at these photos. Looo no meat what so ever!!
The food was just so disappointing. We got 2 chicken fried rice. The chicken in it was great, but the rice was extremely salty. I asked for 1 to be spicy and it had no spice whatsoever;just a bunch of chili flakes. The chili oil sauce that came on the side wasn't spicy either and the flakes were super hard. This all was about $27; It was one of the worst take out foods we've ever had, and to me, the quality of the food was just not worth the price.
I’ve been eating here for years and today his cashier gave me the wrong order. She Repeated my order back to me correctly but punched it in the system wrong. I checked the food before I left and promptly brought it back inside. When I enter the restaurant and tell the older gentleman that I assume owns the place that my order isn’t correct he proceeds to start yelling at me about how she misunderstood while emphasizing he knows how I order and not her. I told him there’s no need to yell at me. I’d like a refund. The food was already on the counter. I went back to my car to retrieve the drinks and everything else. Once I re-entered I gave him the bag with the items, signed the receipt, and thanked him for his time. I’ve been eating there for years and have always been kind, over tipping, appreciating the food that came out his kitchen. I told him you don’t have to talk to me like that. I have never been treated this way behind someone else putting in an order wrong. Regardless to what’s going on behind the scene or when a customer brings something to your attention you do not yell at them when they are calm and only trying to get what they paid for. I will never come back here. He lost my business forever.
This was hands down one of the worst experiences I’ve had with “Chinese Food” in the DFW area. The manager was rude, unhelpful, and forgot my order 15 minutes after I placed it. He approached me and asked, “Did you have orange or sesame chicken?” Twenty minutes later, he finally brought out my food, all bundled up. When I opened it, I asked, “Hey, isn’t this supposed to be fried rice?” He looked at me like I was an idiot and insisted it was fried rice. I pointed to the picture of actual fried rice, and he claimed that’s not what I ordered. Then, he threw a couple of soy sauce packets on the table and turned his back on me. They advertised sesame chicken with broccoli fried rice and soup. This is what I got. The chicken was hard, rice was bland and white, and the soup was disgusting. Rest assured, I won’t be coming back. You don't ever have to worry about me darkening your door again.
