We went all in: started with a few appetizers, everything super fresh and packed with flavor. Then came the main event — perfectly cooked steak with that beautiful crust and tender inside, plus an insane lobster on the side that basically made the night. And of course, we couldn’t skip dessert — classic American-style, big portions, and so good we didn’t leave a single bite. It’s definitely not the cheapest spot, but every dollar is worth it. If you’re looking for that true Miami night out with top-quality food and a great atmosphere, Prime One Twelve won’t disappoint.

We loved Prime 112!!! The service was superb, our waiter went above and beyond for us!! I had injured my foot a day prior and our waiter found me a stool so I could rest my food while we were dining. The food was fantastic, steaks were perfectly cooked, very fresh and so delicious, I loved the baked potato with black truffles! We also had some king crab legs as an appetizer, they were so fresh, we loved them! I will definitely be back when I travel to Miami and I would like to try the other Prime restaurants.

40+ years living here and never been to the og steakhouse Prime 112. Top tier from valet, to the greeting, to the seating, to the service, then the food. So the valet took care of us right away $25 on a Saturday night at 7 pm. Had a reservation, waited 5 mins and was then seated. Now the seating is intimate, pretty close to each other but enough space to talk and hear your party without too much distraction. Service was great and efficient, the waiter tells you all about the specials. Had the kobe meatball, best meatball ever, deviled eggs and ceviche for appetizers. All big enough to share. Would've been good for 4 people but we wanted to taste and planned to take food home for kids to eat. The bread they give you at start is solid, the cheddar biscuit fire. Then came the steak, wagyu churrasco. Again big enough to share for 2 but we both like our steak cooked differently and planned to take some home. Delicious, melt in your mouth type of steak. Comes with chimichurri which does elevate it but not necessary. Had creamed spinach & lobster mac and cheese for sides. Big enough to share and took home. That was it, we were so full couldn't try dessert. Just a great experience, really good food, lived up to the hype. I loved this restaurant. Drank water btw knowing we wanted to try different things so can't rate the cocktails but they looked amazing seeing them around.

My wife and I dined at Prime 112 during our stay in South Beach, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was upscale but relaxed, with attentive service and a buzzing, energetic atmosphere. We ordered the aged steak and the massive 4½ lb lobster – both were nothing short of phenomenal. The steak was perfectly charred on the outside, melt-in-your-mouth tender inside, and bursting with flavor. As for the lobster, it was the showstopper – fresh, meaty, and expertly prepared. Easily one of the best surf and turf combos we’ve ever had. If you're in Miami Beach and looking for a memorable fine dining experience, Prime 112 is a must. We’ll definitely be back.

For me...... The best Steakhouse in town. Period. No other ha such tenderness and juicy flavor that this restaurant. Has been a honor to be able to test their service and quality. Highly recommended.

My husband and I went here after falling in love with Prime and Fish on a previous trip to Miami. They were owned by the same owner so we decided to give it a try. Steak was excellent. People go here to be seen going some place nice. The food is quality all the way round. It’s very dark and sometimes loud inside. They have all the tables squished together. All wait staff is there to make you experience amazing and go above and beyond.

We had such a super friendly service! The food was really delicious. The bread they bring at the beginning was absolutely amazing – three different kinds, each better than the other. We both had the steak, perfectly grilled to the point. And for dessert, of course, the cheesecake – which was HUGE! Definitely a portion for one person, but we couldn’t even finish it together.

Miami Beach's (and South Florida's) original upscale, modern and trendy Steakhouse! For over 2 decades this restaurant has been at the forefront of the most fabulous steakhouses in Miami. It offers an unconventional, creative and extensive menu. The seafood offerings are also just as delicious and extensive. The food is perfectly prepared and presentation is fabulous without being fussy. Quality is consistently excellent as well. The ambience is lively and high energy. It is upscale yet super relaxed. The staff is awesome, super knowledgeable and great at guiding you through the menu. It gets very busy during holidays and the "high season" so make reservations well in advance but still be prepared to wait. It is worth the wait tho! Hands down the best in Miami!

Our food was absolutely amazing. I ordered the stuffed South African lobster tail, cream, corn, and maple brussels sprouts with bacon, 10 out of 10 for sure. My niece got the New York strip, it was an 8/10, but I’m more of a good dry-aged ribeye type, which could be why it was an 8. Drinks were a 5/10. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. Their dress code is pretty loose. We came here after waiting for two hours at Sunny’s, and I’m glad we did. I called 30-45 Minutes ahead of time, and When we arrived, we were seated instantly. When it comes down to a smooth operation, it seems like they definitely have it together, it’s literally no waiting for anything. It’s like they’re waiting for you to finish so they can come get it out of your way. They kept refreshing our bread and butter, and I thought that was Very unique and thoughtful. The only thing that I would say that they should work on is personal space, I would prefer if someone says excuse me before reaching over me or bumping into me and acting like it didn't happen or saying sorry. Also, there were quite a few celebrities dining, which we didn’t expect so you never know who you may run into there :) &, if you decide to sit at the bar, their bar snack is a glass of Bacon for you to munch on which is Pretty cool. The Female bartender from Brazil was the stand out employee for me. Very hospitable. The female waitress with the red hair, was a little offputting yet very knowledgeable. I will definitely be back when in the area!

Waiter was there with no delay to inform us of the chef's specials, to take our drinks and appetizer orders. We chose the calamari and lump Crab cake. For our entree, we chose the Fried snapper for 2, with roasted vegetables and a lemon butter sauce. Yeeesss!!!!! The snapper was seasoned and fried too perfection. The vegetables were so good. And that lemon butter sauce was de-li-cious!!! All in all, we really enjoyed our night.

This continues to be our go to place. This time Erika was our server. She continued the excellent service we are use to anytime we eat there. The food at Prime 112 is out of this world hot, fresh and the taste was incredible. Portions are family sized and we always doggie bag when we leave. This is my first time visiting prime 112 and what a fun experience I had with my coworker. We walked in sat in the bar area which was not too packed at the time. We were greeted right away by the bartenders. As we sat there looking through the menu, I noticed a cup filled with bacon in it. I kindly asked what was the big and filled cup for and they said it was for the customers to eat. Is the first I've ever seen something like this which was awesome. Continuing on to the appetizers we got crab cakes and calamari. The crabcakes were amazing they were plump and full of crab meat the one with the relish that it came with. Considering on to dinner I ordered a 24 oz T-Bone cook black and blue style and my coworker order 22 oz bone in ribeye. Everything came out perfect and cooked the right way and taste it amazing the steak melted in your mouth. As for the two sides we got mashed potatoes an broccoli. For dessert of course we had to get the banana pudding dessert. Overall what an amazing place to visit and eat at. The experience makes up for everything.

The food portions are generous, the flavors outstanding, and the overall vibes here are just unmatched. Truly a spot where everything comes together perfectly.

Top notch bartenders took care of my requests promptly. The meal itself along with the service was exceptional. Not once did I feel like I wasn’t taken care of. I highly recommend visiting this establishment. I will return soon to sample other tasty menu items.

Gorgeous, very upscale bar without the prétention! Rare for Miami. Marissa the bartender was beyond welcoming and when I explained I hadn’t had any decent bacon (no offense UK I live near London) she gave me some to go. Just so thoughtful and sweet. Also? She makes the best martini in town. And yes I’ve tried many. Ha! Cheers! Thanks for the hospitality.

The service was the shining star with our waitress providing thoughtful recommendations. It felt every person wanted to make it the best dining experience. I only docked one star on atmosphere due to the close proximity of the tables to each other- otherwise loved the ambiance.

I highly recommend their prime rib, bone-in ribeye, and lamb chops. They're all so delicious. Their portions are very generous, please be careful when ordering appetisers. We ended up having to box a lot of food.

The food was delicious. We both had filet mignon and it was done perfectly. We also had the wedge salad which one order is good for two people. The plantains and rum sauce were delicious and that was also a very large side, which was good for two or three people we did not have room for dessert. our waiter was fantastic as well as all the supporting staff. We were at an outside table, which was quieter than the inside restaurant. It was a very pleasant evening. We were glad we made a reservation.. this is a popular restaurant with local residence as well as visitors

Our family of four had the pleasure of dining at Prime 112 last evening, and from start to finish the experience was exceptional. David, our server, set the tone immediately with warm, polished, and attentive service that never missed a beat. Every recommendation was thoughtful and perfectly executed. The dirty martinis were flawless, and the mezcal Old Fashioned was beautifully balanced. We began with what may very well be the best deviled eggs anywhere — absolutely outstanding. A pristine selection of East and West Coast oysters followed, impeccably fresh and beautifully presented. The Big Eye tuna poke bowl was remarkable, rivaling the finest versions we’ve enjoyed in Hawaii. For our entrées, we chose the Australian Wagyu special and a perfectly cooked petite filet, accompanied by creamed spinach and roasted garlic mashed potatoes that were nothing short of divine. David’s description of the Japanese Kobe strip was so eloquent and enticing that I regretted not ordering it — which simply gives us the perfect reason to return. Exceptional cuisine and an energetic atmosphere can easily be overshadowed by mediocre service, but David elevated the entire evening with a standard of hospitality that was truly top tier. An 11/10 experience. We look forward to our next visit.

What can I really say? Prime One Twelve delivered! This was my second visit here. Be prepared to wait a bit, even with a reservation. The staff are very very, but this place is a buzz. They are all running and gunning here for customers. Nice atmosphere , but tight seating, if you’re okay with that. Very nice menu, but typical high end steak house format. I ordered the 14oz NY strip, medium. It was great cut. I had Gorgonzola butter added. They have a nice selection of butters and sauces to choose from. Very nice selection of sides. I had the Scalloped Parmesan Potatoes and Grilled Asparagus. All very nicely done and quite delicious. For dessert, I ordered the warm apple cinnamon crostata! This was probably the best dessert I ever had! Large portion, hot, sweet and heavenly. You’ve got to try it! Overall, a place you need to try. Many celebrities and wannabes love Prime One Twelve, but it’s also great for those of us who enjoy quality food and great service. Valet parking available. Street parking could be challenging.

Been coming here for 15 years especially when I have visitors and… still overall the #1 steakhouse in the country right here. You order a few ounces of the A5 as an appetizer and here it’s not just white fatty trash it’s the most perfectly chosen and cooked A5 - everyone likes it no matter their style. Australian wagyu strip was the cut of the day so had that it was quite glorious. Compared to other steakhouses, the sides here are numerous and all awesome. Dessert followed couldn’t finish that but those are a unique hit too no matter what you pick - I had bananas foster cheesecake. This place is so good you don’t even remember to Instagram your food. I asked my waiter’s name and forgot in the mayhem but everyone here is enthusiastic and complete pros.

Had reservations for a Friday night at 830 pm, parking in the lot across was easy. We ended up waiting 40 min at the bar for a table of two, although we had reservations. I saw this mentioned in other reviews and feel like it's a way to get customers to spend at the bar. The lychee martini I had was delicious. Be prepared to pay a minimum of $20 for a cocktail, it's south beach. We requested an outdoor table, and the waiter was very informative. I suggest asking for a table on the deck as the table near us seated by the bushes had 3 roaches crawl near them. Would also be great if they extended the speaker system to outdoors because the music was pretty good. We really enjoyed the cheddar biscuit in the bread basket, the others not so much. The grilled oysters were delicious, loved the waygu rib with grits. The grits were truly amazing, first time a restaurant got it right! Didn't care for the crab crusted fish.. and we never got the lobster mac we ordered, but it was way too much food, so it was a blessing in disguise. The dishes ARE definitely big enough for two people to share.

The service, the meal, and drinks were all amazing. Patrick our server was the best. I will say it was a disappointing to be sat at one of the two tables in the main entranceway. Our kids view was literally of the front door and the 20 people waiting to be seated. My son had his arm ran in to at least a half a dozen times by wait staff trying to navigate the narrow hallway we were seated in without any acknowledgement and my daughters chair literally had her pinned against an elevator door that must not be in service for dinner. Completely took away from the fine dining experience. Its hard to enjoy the ambiemce when youre literally seated in the hallway in.

Second drink was a negroni (close, but not what I ordered). Server suggested I should just take the negroni because the bar was backed up. At $23 a drink, I want what I ordered. Food was excellent but very pricey. Hopefully our service experience was an anomaly.

I heard so much about this restaurant so we decided to have dinner there 6 people. The sea bass was amazing! However, we were disappointed with the steaks no flavour at all! The sweets and the bread were really tasty. I must say that the manager and waiter were very patient and nice. The service is excellent, I hope next visit the steaks will taste better. Thank you.

Accidentally booked here instead of prime Italian, they’re both delicious but I think I liked prime Italian more - it was surprisingly slow compared to my last visit but still delicious and worth it. The waiter recommended the Australian wagyu for two and it was fantastic

Great experience at Prime 112. We arrived without a reservation and were able to get a table outside, which was perfect for enjoying the Miami Beach atmosphere. Another big plus is that the restaurant stays open until midnight, making it a great option for a late dinner. They start you off with an excellent bread basket, featuring a variety of fresh breads served with sweet accompaniments and cheese — a really nice way to begin the meal. Each of us ordered a different dish: sea bass with miso sauce, salmon with mashed potatoes and asparagus, and tuna burgers. Everything was exquisite, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Service was also outstanding. Our waiter was attentive, professional, and made the whole experience feel smooth and relaxed. Overall, a fantastic dinner with great food, excellent service, and a lively setting. Definitely a place worth returning to in Miami Beach.

I'm not someone who writes negative reviews; it's against my nature. But I have to try to spare others from the terrible experience we had at Prime 112. It was Valentine's Day, and apparently management decided to overbook in an effort to make extra money. The lobby was packed and people were outside waiting...WITH reservations. We had a 7:30 reservation and were not seated until 8. They told us to wait in the bar, but the bar was three-deep and smelled strongly of weed. We had to stand against the wall (in 3-inch heels for me) for half an hour. Then we had to elbow our way through the throng of others to get to a small area off the side of the lobby that had been crammed with small tables and only had a thin white curtain separating it from the crowd. The tables were so close together that the chairs were touching. My husband was next to the curtain and kept getting bumped by people in the lobby crowd. The space we were in had clearly just been converted into a seating area to expand for the holiday, so there was a tv playing a basketball game, a register that the servers were using, and a storage area that the servers kept going into. It was loud, crowded, and definitely not romantic. The seats were concave in the middle and very uncomfortable. It was awful, y'all. Definitely not worth our $300 tab. Our server, Tony, was trying his best to push through the crowd and keep a smile, but it was a disaster. We are local and word spreads fast at the dog park, so this was a terrible business decision to try to grab some extra dollars at the expense of your reputation. We ate as fast as we could and got out of there. Luckily La Grande Boucherie accommodated us without a reservation to get a lovely dessert in a gorgeous setting. We'll make our next reservation there next time.

We got to the restaurant as soon as it opened and the bread was not only cold, but it seemed like it was a day old. It wasn’t fresh at all. It was a cold day in South Florida, and they had absolutely no heat inside the restaurant. It was freezing inside the restaurant. It was 47° outside and it could not have been more than 60° inside. Made it very uncomfortable to try to enjoy our dining experience. The “pancakes” (hash browns) were burnt and too much truffle oil in the mac & cheese, as well as the deviled eggs. The Brussels sprouts were greasy. The shining star was the Kobe cheeseburger! It was absolutely delicious and I would order it again if I decide to go back. It’s going to be difficult to get my husband to go back because he is pretty upset when we left.

Beware if you have allergies. I told them my allergies and they promised no cross contamination but I still had a strong reaction to both the steak and the grilled vegetables. I was forced to pay for the steak. In contrast, I had no issues with some restaurants nearby when I told them my allergies.

I came here to read the reviews from Valentine’s Day last night, and turns out my wife and I were somehow one of the lucky couples. 7:30 reservation, got seated at 8:15, did not have menus until 8:30. First food / drink arrived around 9. We finished at 11:15. It was utter chaos. I have never dined in an atmosphere like that. As some reviews pointed below, we also seemed to be seated in an overflow hallway (tucked into/next to an elevator door). People (extremely frustrated and justified people) waiting for their tables, were overflowing this area. The staff did their best and were helpful when engaged, but it was a congested hallway all night. This was not their fault. I saw the table flip and food spill all over the table, and it is even more horrifying to hear that table’s entire experience last night. It was as if they were eating on a crowded dance floor. I hope some of their meal was comped. As we sat there, every single couple that was seated was visibly frustrated. What was supposed to be a romantic night out at a nice restaurant was ruined by the insane overbooking of the restaurant. And, pivoting to another nice restaurant on a Saturday Valentine’s Day evening is near impossible. It was loud and the commotion was extremely distracting, tables were very close to one another. It was not close to the cozy evening that many people likely expected. The food was very good, but an important part to a meal like this is the overall experience, and Prime 112 fell FAR short. I feel so bad for the couples that got seated hours after their reservation and especially the ones that were unable to be served. Take these reviews seriously, and do better.
