I was craving pizza our whole trip when we was in Miami and we finally found this place 😍 This pizza is not what you are thinking it will be, it is something special. I ordered gluten free pizza (which was made from cauliflower) with vegan cheese and beyond meat. Pizza was crunchy, well baked and also very well seasoned 🙂 I ordered smoothie as well. So if you are looking for something healthy, fresh and really good, maybe if your husband eats meat like mine this restaurant has both meat and vegan options. Thank you for awesome food❤️
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Apple A Day Café Great place with amazing food! I’ve been coming here for the past 8 years whenever I’m in town, and it’s still just as good as day one. Big portions, super fresh ingredients, and the staff is always wonderful. Consistent, delicious, and such a feel-good spot. Highly recommend!
Must visit for vegans!!! There are lots of delicious whole-food based vegan options at reasonable prices! There is a small parking lot out front!
Great place to grab an organic juice and a muffin. They have a menu with breakfast and lunch options too. The vegan blueberry muffin is so moist and chewy! One of the best I have had. I came back the next day to have it again.
Lots of fresh vegan/vegetarian options including tacos and wraps. The coffee and matcha tea are really good.
One of my go-to spots for a healthy meal in South Beach. The food is always fresh and flavorful, and the açaí bowls are absolutely amazing. It has a great mom-and-pop feel, and the staff is consistently friendly and attentive. If you’re in the area, I definitely recommend stopping by!
We had delicious soup and black bean salad. The soup was just 10/10 and fresh orange juice was the best. Very healthy and nutritious food, would love to eat there again!
Good food, good presentation, good portions, and friendly service. Fair happy hour discounts.
I've been a couple times and this spot NEVER disappoint me. They have the BEST homemade natural juices and the more complete menu I've seen. Special shout out to Clara, her attention was everything! I'd be back a thousand times
This place is a vegan oasis in the sea of standard American fare that is south beach. Great variety of breakfast and lunch options. Recommend the tofu scramble and the cold pressed juices
I really like this neighborhood cafe - the food is good and the staff is friendly and attentive to allergies and special request. Check out the chicken tacos and don't miss the vegan cookies.
Feels good to be able to still eat healthy food at a good price. I’ve been going to Apple a day for many years and I’m always happy with the quality and the quantity (as opposed to Pura Vida).
Healthy delicious food 👍🏻. The outside looks not very inviting. But good decision to check in and have an awesome healthy Waldorf and Oven Backed Chicken Salad. On top we got a soup for lunch. I like the new way of food. Not the last time.
Lana took my order and was kind and helpful. Place was nice and comfy. Parking was easy. I had a salmon bagel, and a cappuccino it was delicious. Left my car there and walked down the strip. Was nice!
We ordered their Power omelette and cafe latte. Both were great. I don’t eat yolks so they customized omelette for me to use only Egg white.
Breakfast there and dinner there three or four days a week.It is in every way. The only comment I make is the movie blender is too loud. Maybe direction of the sound can be directed to the rear of the restaurant, or the machine could be enclosed in a box??
This place is always the best option if you are vegan or vegetarian. I love the Rio açai bowl, my favorite here. I would love to see more improvements in the kitchen exhaust because the only problem is the smoke smell inside. But there are tables outside, or you get take out.
This restaurant/cafe has an amazing menu. Lots of vegetarian options. The portions are big. The food is organic, healthy, freshly prepared and the staff are very positive and nice. The type of people who go to this place are motivated fit people who care what they put in their bodies. The drinks in the fridge are full of goodness and antioxidants. It is definitely a hidden gem in Miami.
I ordered the Pitaya Smoothie (highly recommend) and the Chicken Tacos one on the Ezekial tortilla and one or the Blue Corn tortilla. It was all delicious! Love that it’s all organic, healthy and the entire meal was filling. I spent a total of $20 on these items which is a liiiiiiiiiittle pricey but I understand due to location and promising food quality. The service was ok, the ladies weren’t really friendly and barely cracked a smile. Regardless I’d come again, they have a lot of enticing menu items.
Amazing place to go if you are looking to balance out your diet. I love the place because the area has very cool vibes. The food itself is pretty good I like to have the chicken quesadilla as I don’t want to support commercial fishing by ordering a shrimp or fish one. The service in the restaurant is pretty great the staff have always been very helpful and very friendly.
Great Miami Beach spot for healthy local food. Diverse menu of salads, sandwiches. Açaí bowls, smoothies, etc. Large and great tasting portions! Definitely try it out for breakfast, quick lunch or healthy dinner.
Absolutely fantastic, healthy and delicious food at reasonable prices. The GF pizza is wonderful. The cafe itself needs a makeover, but the food is very good. We had it delivered several times and it was quick.
Healthiest place on the beach! My favorite are their smoothies and ginger shots! All the girls who works in the front are super sweet and nice. If you want to eat healthy and tasty food this is a great local spot!
Not a single complaint with the folks running Apple A Day. I’ve ordered various items from the menu each with their own unique taste and superior quality. Being an Açaí head i had to try their take on the popular dish to which I was SHOOK at the size of this thing! I went for the PB Açaí with added strawberries and it was by far the best açaí bowl i’ve eaten. Consistency, taste, and portion size. 10/10. Not to mention they provided a generous amount of honey too. Highly recommend this place.
This was my third time visiting this place, but it has been a while. They've gotten rid of the supermarket portion and have refinished the interior with seating. The wraps were quite tasty, and accompanies by a nice soup. Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for healthy, tasty, and inexpensive food on the beach.
What a great place. Found this place close by to where we were staying and came back every morning for breakfast. Would have been happy to come back more if I could. The smoothies tasted great with a wide selection. The breakfast bowls were amazing and will be making them at home. Great place, great food and great service! Well worth a visit!
Truly a treasure and gift from the food Gods. Staff work quick and professionally. Coffee, Juice, smoothies and an open Menu of incredible tasting food. Vegans you you have found Nirvana. Greatest Açaí Bowl in all Miami.
Apple is an institution in SOBE. It has stood the test of time while other places have come and gone, some places not missed but others dearly missed (eg. Epicure Gourmet Foods). Apple a day has evolved over the years as it was a health food store with a juice bar and now it's a fantastic laid back restaurant. We love Apple and I would recommend Apple to anyone visiting SOBE looking for a wonderful healthy tasty meal that they will remember. Give the over priced mediocre restaurants on Lincoln road a break and come to Apple for a pleasant and satisfying experience that won't make your wallet hungry.
I have been coming to this place for four years. Açaí and smoothies are very tasty. Quesadillas comes with a side soup definitely satisfying. Good service.
All was good can't complain. Relatively cheap healthy food. Vegan, gluten-free, they have it all :)
Locals love Apple A Day. I come here once a week. Eat here instead of getting ripped off at Pura Vida.
A not so hidden gem! If you want TASTY healthy food, this place is a must. Delicious veggie burgers, açaí bowls, homemade juices and more.
It's rare to walk into a place that I look around and everyone seems to legitimately love what they're doing. That makes a difference in any atmosphere. I only came to buy a water and walked out with one of the most delicious juice I've had in my short life. I'm going back again and again. Crazy flavors you'd never imagine; the fusion of flavor, wild! 100% RECOMMENDED.
Perfect perfect perfect!! When we are out of breakfast stock, we always order chicken wrap, it comes with a little lentil soup which is amazing. I really love apple a day cafe. Thank you to the team because they obviously work very hard. I love lentil soup
I’ve been coming here since it was a small market and I’ve always been a loyal customer. The açaí bowls are usually spot on and the menu has great variety. That said, the new to-go bowl/plate size is much smaller and it’s frustrating—now the coconut, granola, and honey cups don’t even fit, and there isn’t enough room to pour everything into the bowl. It makes it hard to eat on the go. I hope you consider bringing back the previous container size or offering a better to-go option.
I absolutely enjoy this place. The workers are friendly and welcoming to you while you're there. Well worth the money since the food is always fresh and the portions are generous. I usually get the chicken quesadilla on a wheat wrap. It use to be a small market with a cafe attached, but now I believe it's just a cafe. The cafe also sells cold pressed juice that I highly recommend you try, just as long as you don't mind paying $10 for a bottle of juice.
Great find near where we were staying in south beach Miami !! Exceptionally tasty and healthy food for vegetarians and vegans - loved the açai bowls and pancakes were delicious insanely good too !!
Apple a day has an amazing menu especially if you're looking to be on the healthy side. The customer service is great, the menu has a large selection especially if you're trying to eat healthy and also has a good selection for vegetarian eaters. The smoothies are amazing, the plate that I ordered was the war Dorf rap which comes with chicken and is maid to Perfection along with a delicious soup. You can find out more about the recipe based on what the menu tells you on the description. If you're in the local area I highly recommend this place, it's a Hidden Gem and you cannot go wrong. Bonappetit
First time back here for a while because I’ve moved further up the beach. But it did not disappoint. Had the portobello pizza and coffee lovers smoothie. Both delicious. I’m gonna try and swing by here more often!
I've been coming to Apple A Day for years, and it continues to be one of my favorite spots in South Beach. This family-owned gem is everything you want in a healthy restaurant—fresh ingredients, flavorful dishes, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. You can tell they genuinely care about what they serve and the people they serve it to. Whether I'm grabbing one of their delicious smoothies, a hearty wrap, or a nourishing bowl, I always leave feeling better than when I walked in. It's rare to find a place that stays consistent over the years, but Apple A Day has done just that—delivering quality, kindness, and a real sense of community every time. Highly recommend to anyone who values healthy eating, great service, and supporting local family-run businesses!
Love this place for health foods. The smoothies and fresh pressed juices are delicious. At first, I thought the juices were expensive ($10 for 16 oz). Then I realized it’s cheaper than a cocktail and has so many health benefits. Their vegan soup is also delicious. Quick and easy lunch.
The hidden gem health food restaurant of South Beach. Try the Purple Dragon Acai bowl- best in South Beach, or the bean salad with turkeyburger. Great prices. Amazing, fresh, cold pressed juices! Try "the hulk" or "Almond Delight" or a Panther Coffee iced latte. Apple a day keeps the doctor's paycheck away.
Yummy açaí bowl and I love the metal bowl they serve it in. Big portion!
Thank you!! For the wonderful service and healthy yummy lunch 🙏. It’s a rare moment that I am submitting a review for anyone. You are special!!
Apple a Day never disappoints. From the moment you walk in, you can tell this place takes pride in what they do. The ingredients are always fresh, and every dish is packed with flavor. Everything on the menu feels not only delicious but also nourishing and wholesome—you can actually taste the quality. One item that deserves special mention is their lentil soup. It’s rich, hearty, and absolutely to die for. Comforting yet healthy, it’s the kind of dish that keeps you coming back again and again. Beyond the food, the atmosphere is always welcoming. The employees are consistently pleasant, upbeat, and in great spirits—which likely reflects the strong ownership and the positive culture behind the scenes. It makes every visit an enjoyable experience, not just for the food but for the friendly vibe as well. Apple a Day is truly a staple in Miami Beach. It’s the kind of place locals rely on and visitors should not miss. If you’re looking for fresh, flavorful, and healthy food served by people who genuinely care, this spot is a must-try.
Super yummy and fresh every time I go to eat here. I 100% recommend it, truly underrated!
A true gem in the heart of South Beach! Apple A Day Café is hands-down one of the best spots in Miami if you’re looking for fresh, healthy, and absolutely delicious food. From their vibrant smoothies and refreshing acai bowls to their wraps, avocado toasts, and creative daily specials, everything tastes like it was made with love and the highest-quality ingredients. The vibe here is light, welcoming, and full of energy — perfect for grabbing a quick breakfast, a post-workout smoothie, or just hanging out with friends over a nourishing meal. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely care about the customer experience, which makes every visit even better. I especially love their papaya smoothies and signature bowls — so refreshing and satisfying! And with their happy hour specials and loyalty rewards, it’s easy to keep coming back. Whether you’re a health-food lover, a local, or just visiting South Beach, Apple A Day Café is a must-try. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel good about what you’re eating — and keeps you coming back for more.
First time in Miami, I'm vegan and I couldn't have a better dinner: I had a vegan beyond burger fajita and the ingredients were so delicious and well cooked, they also use a super creamy vegan cheese. Also sauces were full vegan and very tasty. The girl is super kind and fast! All the love from Venice, Italy!
Apple a Day Cafe in Miami Beach is a cozy health spot serving up fresh, feel-good eats. From tasty açaí bowls to hearty wraps and cold-pressed juices, it’s a go-to for clean, delicious bites. The vibe is chill, the staff is friendly, and the menu’s got something for everyone—vegan, gluten-free, or just hungry. A little gem for when you want to eat well without sacrificing flavor!
Organic , healthy , vast menu and affordable prices ! We come here about 5 days a week. They have the best Acai Bowls in Miami Beach. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because the interior is not very chic or cool. It's not a very welcoming spot to hang. Metal chairs, metal tables it's more like cheap patio furniture. So if you are coming here for affordable, healthy organic food you are going to be very happy. If you are coming for the vibes or looking for a trendy juice cafe, you will be disappointed.
They’re so nice here, and the service is fast. I got the breakfast burrito with egg whites, which came with a little fruit salad on the side. Simple, light, and filling. Would definitely eat here again
I ordered an açaí bowl. At first I was taken aback by how not-sweet it was, but then I didn’t mind as much as I kept eating. I’d give the açaí bowl a 7/10. I’d come to this place again to try something else. Prob wouldn’t order açaí again. The cookies or whatever they were baking smelled amazing. Vibe wise- the ‘kitchen’ is behind the bar so it’s kind of noisy. At one point I asked the cashier if the dishwasher was throwing dishes because the dish clanging was so loud, and her answer was, ‘we don’t have a dishwasher so we wash them by hand’ …so try not to slam them together? lol she didn’t seem to care.
For an organic place the food is average. Not everything is organic and the menu has too many options and does not say what is organic and what is not. Sometime less is more. Does not look super clean and it's a shame as it could be super duper as it serves (they say) Miami for 27 years. There is space for improvement but the staff is cool.
If you hate single-use plastic, don’t order an acai bowl to go or for delivery. It frustrates me when ‘healthy’ restaurants don’t consider the health of the planet and shove so much single use plastic in my order. I added strawberries and blueberries to my açaí bowl order, and every single component ended up coming in plastic. Strawberries is a plastic cup wrapped in plastic Saran Wrap. Granola in a plastic cup wrapped in plastic Saran Wrap. Coconut in a plastic cup wrapped in plastic Saran Wrap. Honey in a plastic cup wrapped in plastic Saran Wrap. And even when I put in my order to silverware, I still got plastic spoons wrapped in plastic. I guess they aren’t aware of the floating islands of trash in the pacific that are twice the size of Texas. I ordered here because my regular place was closed (Under the Mango Tree), and I remembered they had really good granola here - which they do. But next time, I’ll order somewhere else or forgo a yummy açaí bowl. It’s a shame too - because the açaí bowl was pretty good.
This was once one of my favorite places to go whenever in Miami, now it seems as if you need to be caucasian in order to receive great food and great service. As the years go by the food quality goes down and the service sucks, everyone has an attitude a gives off an unwelcoming energy.
Great food. Unfortunately customer service kind of sucks and thats part of what draws me into choosing my place rather than an other. The girls behind the counter dont seem to have any sense of urgency or interest in making sure the client is taken care of. They gave me a plastic spon for the soup - telling me the real spoons were being cleaned. 20 minutes later they “still did not have any” although it was obvious that they were drying them one by one while looking at me eating soup with the plastic spoon. A detail you might think but it shows a lot. I’ll be back for the food.
I just ordered two wraps from this place to give it a try but I was really disappointed. I still have the smell of rotting greens stuck in my nose. How can you serve not one but two wraps with such bad quality ingredients. It honestly smelled like food from a dumpster, disgusting. The greens were bad, the avocado was horrible and tomatoes and cucumber were old.
The place would be overall great if the customer service existed. The two women behind the counter were dry, dismissive and cold. They missed an item from our order and when we told her that, she said "you did not ordered that." We did. Then she said 'I missed it from your order' not apopogetic or considerate. We asked for the receipt to make sure the item was not there and she just left without looking at us. I cannot explain how unwelcome we felt throughout. Saturday morning 10 am... the place was not busy so there is no reasonable reason to treat customers like that.
not sure what happened here. we featured you in a article of top 10 best small restaurants in Miami a few years ago. For some reason you changed the sauce on the pizza? People need to quit fixin stuff that aint broke!!! Change for the sake of change is nonsense. Riz please address this as we have no other way of contacting you but through your Google reviews.
Not "Vegan Friendly"... and shockingly terrible experience. This was likely the most ridiculous and least professional restaurant experience of my entire life. They demonstrated an astonishing lack of awareness, sensitivity, and concern for customer experience. I'm absolutely stunned. Came this morning for vegan food, because we heard that they're vegan friendly. Ordered Vegan pancakes, and waited nearly 1 hour without food, while other people ordered, sat, ate, and left. These are people who came in 30 or 40 minutes after we did. Finally discovered that they chose to make the vegan food LAST, because they had to clean the grill. So basically EVERY ONE of the 20+ orders that were placed after our order was prepared BEFORE our order. Ours was deliberately pushed to LAST. Then, when finally there was only 1 ticket in the queue, they started to prepare our food. We had no desire to support this business after this astonishing lack of awareness and sensitivity. Asked for refund. Left & instead ate at a reliable vegan restaurant that actually cares. Not cool, everyone. Wasted an hour of our morning.
An utterly obnoxious kitchen staff. It sounds something like the sideline of pickup soccer game with whistling and screaming. It's one of those places that don't really care about the customer experience at all. The food is grossly overpriced. The bathroom is slightly worse than the gas station bathrooms in the area. Stay away.
Horrible experience at this café. First, their location is so inconvenient with no parking. Then you get attitude from the servers. The prices are definitely way too high for what they serve. If you do happen to get it warm, you should appreciate that because they don’t serve it hot. if you’re unsatisfied in anyway send them an email because there’s no manager around. I promise you you will regret eating there if you go.
I ordered 2 avocado wraps-vegan and gluten free. When they arrived I bit into one but it was fish. Had to throw up what I had eaten, luckily only one bite. Sick today with a horrible headache. When I called last night to complain, the woman offered 0 compassion and told me to cancel the order. Instead I filed a food safety issue with UberEats. Completely unacceptable to have such a lackadaisical attitude towards someone who has had many food sensitivities. I don’t think I can trust their food anymore. Buyer be ware! Sad.
Had the most awful experience ordering from this place on Uber eats. The estimated wait time was quoted at 40-50 minutes, but in reality it took more than 90 minutes to get my order. The driver also requested that I come to pick up my order downstairs despite my ask to leave food at the door of my apartment. Once I opened the bag with my order, I realized the green juice absorbed the warmth from the baked chicken wrap, which turned out to be cold. To top it off, besides being cold, the chicken wrap was beyond dry and was missing some of the ingredients, including hummus that could have potentially salvaged the situation. Had to toss a half of my order. Wouldn't order again.
The food was really good but VEGANS beware that the buns they use to make the vegan burgers are NOT vegan! I ask them to show me what brand the buns were from (since it's hard to find good fluffy vegan gluten free bread locally.) and when I visited that brand's website I double checked the ingredients to only see that the buns contained EGGS! Ask and see for yourself before you eat it. My girlfriend and I have been vegan for 5 years so you can imagine how upset we were when we found out. The least I can do is warn other vegans before you make our same mistake.
This place is absolutely not safe if you have food allergies. I wrote on each item I ordered that I have a gluten allergy. I took one bite and had a reaction. I was suspicious that the bun they gave me with my burger was made of wheat. I asked, and they confirmed with the kitchen that it was not made with a gluten free bun. I was refunded for the food, but that does solve the damage that was done from consuming gluten.
I order breakfast burrito and it took like 15 min to get it and no one gave me heads up :( poor service
I ordered the seared Ahi tuna wrap and it was served hot, with completely cooked fish. When I first saw it, I thought they accidentally gave me a chicken wrap. It didn't have all of the wrap condiments, either, but I couldn't eat it anyway. Hot, fishy wrap, not at all what I ordered. I'm really disappointed.
We ordered 2 smoothies and a breakfast Boritto. We got the smoothies, and waited for 20 minutes for the boritto. We walked to the counter and asked when it will be ready and they said they forgot to make it, and that they will start making it now. We waited another 10 minutes and came to the counter again, to find out that they didn’t start to make the boritto! They were apologetic but this is unacceptable to be treating your customers like that. Never going there again.
Worst customer experience walk in EVER the girl at the counter had the most prejudice unfriendly attitude I have ever experienced as a person of color in Miami Beach. I’ve always heard of everyone else’s experience this place was hands down the worst for me. I asked to speak to the manager to be serviced by a different person - because this young girl was not having it - she said SHE WAS The manager !! Stay away from this place mi gente. Get your apples somewhere else !!
