Vero Cucina has great food! You can eat on the patio or in the restaurant. On Thursday and Friday they have happy hour in the lounge! We ate in the lounge tonight during happy hour. There is a lite bite menu and very reasonable wine, beer, and mixed drinks. Kimberly was our waitress and made sure we were well taken care of. She suggested the blueberry beer, and my husband said it was wonderful! We shared bourbon wings which were huge and delicous. We ordered a sausage calzone as our main meal...absolutely huge and excellent! For dessert we split the tiramisu which is made in house by owner, Tazo! It was divine. Thank you for a great date night!! Of course we will return! Thank you Tazo for your hospitality and Kimberly thank you for the excellent service!!

I had the warm mushroom salad with feta and shaved parmesan cheese and added grilled chicken. The salad was gigantic and delicious with the red wine lemon vinaigrette dressing. Would recommend this and the personal size pizzas! Vero is a great hidden gem in Middletown.

Everything was amazing. 10/10 recommend! Kimberly was our server, and she was great! She was attentive without being obtrusive. The calamari was wonderful, the chicken marsala was delicious, as was the chicken saltimbocca. We had the limoncello mascarpone cake and tiramisu for dessert, both were fabulous. We also ordered a personal pizza, plain cheese, as a test. The pizza is good! It's a thin crust, a little thicker than a New Haven pizza crust and didn't have any char on it. Cheese and sauce are both winners.

I chose this place for our company event and honestly it was the best decision! First of all, Taso worked so well to make all the food choices perfect. He gave recommendations on what was most popular. The food was INCREDIBLE! It tasted like we were ordering per dish, not for a big party. Plus, it was a beautiful display! We had charcuterie, lemon caper chicken, eggplant rollatini, stuffed mushrooms, penne a la vodka, and salad. The hall they have there is SO nice! They can even change the lighting to whichever color you wanted. We got do our company color! To top everything off, Talia and Kate worked the party and were also incredible. Both of them were SO kind and helpful. Talia made amazing drinks, as well! Taso has an amazing business going and I can’t wait to be back. Thank you all so so much!!

Bring your appetite or like leftovers. We parked in the front and was given a window seat. I had the chicken parmesan that was served with bread. Good beer list with a dark beer on tap. There was plenty of leftovers for a full meal the next day for me.

Sauce was terrific. Pizza was cooked well. Their vegan cheese melts great but wasnt my first choice. All in all a good experience

Great service and solid food! We loved the ambiance and the big portions! We loved the complimentary bread to start, it was super warm and toasty. The server (Kimberly) was super attentive. We’ll definitely be back to try the lunch specials and happy hour. Thank you, Vero!

The service was almost ok, the atmosphere was cool except for the 20-30 year olds talking to talk. The pizza was almost my 100%. It's good and I'd order it lots if it was close by, a few problems but still very good

The service is excellent. The atmosphere is inviting. They are overpriced for what you receive. Tomato sauce on the pasta is bland. DO NOT get the eggplant rollatini, it's the worst we've ever had.

Good location with easy parking and a comfortable setup, though the decor is pretty basic. Service was friendly but slow. Our entrees took over 40 minutes even though there weren’t many customers. The server was nice but should be clearer when offering add ons like salads, instead of making it sound included in the meal, and asking about drinks several times came off a bit pushy. I ordered the shrimp scampi, and it was overly watery which made the pasta bland. The lobster ravioli next to me had a grainy, thick sauce and barely any lobster pieces. This place has potential with its location and staff, but they really need to work on service speed and food consistency.

Two stars because the pizza was good. My wife and I order from here regularly, and while the food is usually great, the consistency lately hasn’t been so great. Tonight my wife and I ordered the 12 wings and large cheese pizza special as well as an order of garlic knots on slice. We never received the knots, which is an understandable mistake. The driver said she asked about the knots, because she didn’t see them, but was assured they were in the bag. The woman I spoke to on the phone said this never happened. Then she proceeded to tell me that the instructions were tiny, so she didn’t see that we had ordered the knots so they weren’t included. Does this mean that nobody got knots because of tiny print today? Whatever. My wife also requested the pizza be double sliced, as our children are little, and the smaller slices are easier to eat. This wasn’t done either, but I understand that when it gets busy, steps like this get skipped. Not the end of the world. When we opened the bag, the knots weren’t there. We were told we’d get a credit from slice, so we moved on with our dinner. Then I opened the wings and could not believe what they were trying to pass off as edible chicken wings. We received about 20 wings, which showed that they knew it was sub standard product and tried to make up for the lack of quality with quantity. I’ll post pictures so you can judge for yourselves. I’ve been in food service since 1992, and a food service manager since 1994. My biggest issue here is the lack of accountability for obvious carelessness on the part of employees. When someone calls and has a legitimate complaint, you don’t give excuses. My wife is allergic to blue cheese, and they’ve repeatedly given it to us anyway when asked not to. One time it covered the entire order and we couldn’t eat it. They blamed this on the driver, but it shouldn’t have been in the order in the first place. If you know your wings suck, 86 them until you get the right product in. If you forgot to add the knots, Don’t make it somebody else’s fault (or the fault of ‘tiny print’) if you just didn’t put the order in the bag. So now I’ve got 20 or so overcooked wings with no meat on them, that I get to eat for dinner because my whole family has covid, and we’re too under the weather to cook. Soup it is! Plenty of other pizza places in Middletown. We won’t be back again.

Ordered a hamburger and fries. Nothing tasted fresh. French fries tasted like they had been sitting on the counter for a week before they were put in to the fryer. Tasted like cardboard. The medium hamburger was dried out, maybe we'll done and had crispy pieces on it like off a dirty grill. The lettuce and tomato tasted old, not fresh and the Texas toast tasted like chewing gum.worst meal I have had in a long time. Tried to use the one toilet they had open and a lady was using it for a long time and they had a mens room at the other side of the building they wouldn't let me use, 4th stage kidney problem. WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN.
