Opinions de Bauscia Milano
Everything was absolutely perfect! We loved how they used authentic Italian ingredients to create such amazing flavors. Even the simple bread service stood out—the choice of olive oil and balsamic was top-tier
It can get a bit noisy because of the intimate setting so you end up hearing the conversation of pretty much all the tables around you. But the food was great, so fresh and spot on. Service was really good, the waiter served us knows the menu very well but as they got busy we were left alone for a bit too long after we finished the meal so I just waved someone down for a coffee then we left. Great start but could've ended a bit smoother.
Very pretty interiors, food was amazing, and servers were helpful and kind. The truffle pasta was portioned well and very delicious. The tiramisu was fantastic, presented in a charming little mug that drew audible wows from my neighboring diners. I walked in for a table of 1 around 1pm on a Sunday with no issue, but it’d be best to go with a reservation.
We had (table of four) a vitello tonnato with side of oven vegetables; a thick cut of beef with black truffle; spaghetti tartufo; spaghettoni with tomato and meatballs. Also a glass of montalcino and a prosecco. Everyone liked their dish and drinks. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Recommended.
I simply love this place ! The colors, the food, the waiters. Their saffron bread is to die for !

Truly 5/5 experience. The food was incredible and very tasty. I highly recommend the Milanese. The service was incredible, fast and snappy. Bread was brought out as soon as we sat down. The table olive oil was high quality and very tasty. Wine service was also great. There is high coperto but it’s well worth it. The atmosphere is elegant but not overly done, very tasteful setting.
It is real best experience over the world very soft stake on the top risotto Heaven's tested i am going to definitely here again
We found this place by chance after visiting the castle grounds. Luckily we were able to book a table via Google. The place is occupied by locals with a gorgeous view of an interior courtyard. The menu is lovely with a great variety of dishes and Italian classics. We had a lovely time during lunch and the staff were a great addition offering recommendations and amazing wine suggestions. The shrimp tartar was to die for. All in all a amazing experience
May 2024 Our hotel recommended this charming place for delicious food in the Brera district, which is lovely at night. The restaurant has a nice outdoor dining area. The service was attentive and very kind. The food and wine were exceptional. The bread selection was perfect. I enjoyed the yellow-seeded bread and sadly had to resist having more so I wouldn’t spoil my appetite. The Casanova di Nero 2019 paired well with our meal. The steak tartare was by far the best we’ve EVER had, it was seriously that good. The meat was so fresh and tender and the portion was very generous. They shaved an aromatic summer truffle and topped it with a delectable burrata. The risotto with veal marrow was heavenly. The seafood linguini was cooked perfectly, and the seafood was fresh and tasty. Even the espresso was made with love. This is our new favorite Milanese restaurant and we can’t wait to return. Update Nov 2024, we came back and didn’t have as wonderful of an experience as the first time, but it was still very good. Didn’t love the dishes we had, tuna, pasta with truffle, schnitzel. Everything was fine, but definitely not the same wow experience as the first time. We also had a horrible table. The seat was dirty and had hair all over it. I guess they didn’t recognize we were repeat customers even though we made our reservation several months in advance. Our friends came a week prior and they had an amazing experience. Hopefully it was just an off night for us. I will still give them another chance next time we’re back. But I will have the hotel make a reservation instead of us as we definitely get better service when they do.
Our group of four were a walk-in and we were so happy they were able to accommodate us! We sat outside and it was a lovely night. The wine that was suggested to us was fantastic! The food was so good! I had the black truffle pasta which was divine! It's so nice to eat in Italy where we aren't rushed. Unlike America where I live. We just had a great night talking, eating, and sipping on wine. I highly recommend!
An excellent restaurant in Brera type of service, atmosphere, food everything is excellent we will definitely come back.
Booked a reservation here through the Fork since it had good reviews. The service was very good, along with the food. My favourite dish was the starter. The Osso bucco was cooked very well and tender, but I think I just don't prefer the traditional seasonings as I found it a bit bland. The wine selection here is massive and a bit overwhelming, but the server was able to help us choose a bottle that suited our tastes. The interior of the restaurant itself was very classy.
Fabulous attention to detail with service and food. It was an amazing meal - tuna tartare (burrata, figs, toasted hazelnuts, jammy onions) and pumpkin sage pasta 🍝
First of all I would like to thank my friend Lanxin for recommend me to visit bauscia .🤗 Food 🥘 just delicious 🤤 every plate 🍽️ specially linguine with sea food amazing .what a tasty Service:start with some breeds’olive oil & vinegar &the waiters too friendly, they give us service very carefully, I’m shocked too see our Asian guy’s are working here 🤗 Thank you for everything guys 🙏 I will be back soon ❤️
Wonderful place to eat! Didn't have a reservation, but they let us in. We got so lucky to have Rosy help us all night. Despite being busy, she made so much time to chat with us and help my wife with her Italian. We may try to steal her from the restaurant to be our Italian teacher and guide when we move here. The food was incredible, and the atmosphere was perfect. Hugs to Rosy from the two Americanos! See you again soon!
Amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere was cozy and perfect for a relaxed meal. I especially loved the presentation of the dishes — you can tell they really care about quality. Highly recommend, and I will definitely be coming back!
This was my hangout during the trip to San Francisco. Awesome view, great shop, good coffee, perfect work spot.
I love the place its just my sandwhich was taken by some guy when it was done. I knew it was placed on the table when I looked at it it was missing. Good thing the manager replaced it. And the guy took $40 from my wallet.
JEFF IS THE MAN! We were in town for Dead and Co. @GGP. I found this place a few blocks from our hotel. We absolutely fell in live with Jeff. Jeff had a great big smile, friendly attitude and had jokes for days. My sister and I LIVED going back. We even got Jeff a coozie from the show. WE WILL BE BACK JEFF!!! xx oo Ms Deonne and Amy
Excellent! Baristas were super friendly and helpful. I saw this dessert and asked for a recommendation to drink with it, almond latte. Price point was great (under $7 for both). They didn’t ask for a tip and the WiFi is very easy to access. The atmosphere at this location is many solo people getting work done.
A restaurant that truly captures the essence of Milanese cuisine. We began our meal with the Tuna Tartare and Wagyu Carpaccio, both of which were exceptional. The carpaccio, adorned with Maldon salt crystals, offered a delightful burst of flavor that elevated the dish. For the main course, I chose the Risotto alla Milanese, which lived up to its stellar reputation—rich, creamy, and perfectly executed. While the service was impeccable at the start, it became a bit inconsistent as the evening progressed and the restaurant grew busier. Nonetheless, the overall experience was delightful, and I highly recommend Bauscia for those seeking authentic Milanese flavors in a vibrant setting.
Very busy coffee shop, looks like everyone else has worked out how good this place is. I only managed 2 coffees here during my week stay, but I did take away a pound of the fabulous Major Dickason's blend.
Awesome coffee, but the service was top tier. I am easy to win over though, I got a smile from the server and he told me to have a nice day, so I was won over.
Nice Peet's. Right next to Powell Street Bart by Ross Store and across the street from Old Navy. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. There is also a limited upstairs seating too. I saw there r a couple of outlets to charge your cell phone in the seating area downstairs. Nice big ceiling to floor windows to stay cozy while watching everyone go by..
If you want an Instagram worthy place, this is it. Food is okay. I really liked the burrata. That was so rich and satisfying. But I found the anchovies to be overpowering. Risotto Ossobuco was okay as well. Risotto was great but veal shank was not great. Some parts were warm but some were cold. Some were moist but most of the parts were really dry. The server was friendly but she was too busy.
I visited the place just to charge my phone, meanwhile sipping some tea/coffee Pros : They offer so many plugs, good for charging your items after a long day in SF - many Starbucks do not have any of those around* Cheap Cons : Tables and ground wasn’t clean enough - even though they had 3 staff behind the counter and prepare your drink (no need for sure) no one checks the tables
I ordered the steak medium rare, and while I understand this specific cut is a leaner part of the beef, the execution was quite poor. The outside was significantly overcooked, which made the meat dry. The two ends of the steak were particularly insufferable to eat. I used to have quite a pleasant experience at this place. Maybe the chef just wasn't in the mood today? And thanks god i did order some sweets in the end. But not because it's good, simply because it contains sugar.
This review is purely based on the staffs reaction to an incident that occurred today. I was attacked by an old man who demanded "respect" and that I ask permission to move aside to get out of the door. I was respectful of this man, I said excuse me, and he became belligerent. He began yelling at me and when I tried to move away from him and get away, he body checked me and my coffee spilled all over my shirt ( a coffee i was buying for a sweet homeless man, none the less!). This was in front of multiple witnesses and the staff and no one helped me. One woman on staff, asked him - the man who attacked me - if he pushed me. He lied and said he didn't but I spoke up for myself and said he did. This is infuriating and disgusting. Tbh the staff are not well trained to handle these situations and it's not their fault, people freeze when there is danger but honestly I felt alone.
The coffee is decent but don’t come here during morning rush hour! They are consistently understaffed. Not only did I wait over 20 minutes for my coffee, but they were also too busy to refill the napkins and other supplies.
My recent visit to this establishment was disappointing, as I was denied access to the restroom, despite having previously purchased items. There was no signage indicating the restroom was unavailable. Consequently, I will not be returning to this location.
