I've came several times to this place, I find amazing they produce their own beers inside the venue; the Blackberry Funsies surprised to me. Staff are very kindly and food is good, comfortable place to enjoy watching sports If you like it.

This place came in clutch! Not only was it Pride weekend in SF, but one of my best friend’s birthday weekend. We were a group of about x10 of us and yet, this place was able to accommodate us even showing up last minute with no reservations. It was easy to order drinks and food individually with no hassle as to “who’s responsible for paying for their portion of the check?” Food was brought out quick and pretty tasty. Would not hesitate to go back again!

Nice venue! More lively than a hotel bar, better than a sports bar but with screens that show … sports of various kinds. This is not why I was here. I was here for their house beers. They were good. Service is via app, like in an airport. The Belgian devil was the closest to a real beer they had. It was good! The home made chips were nice too! Same as the truffle (happy French bourgeois noses) fries! The Aioli was to die for, not sure what the ketchup was doing next to fries … lol. I’d visit this place anytime again though!

Great beer and decent food. On a Sunday evening it was pretty hopping but not too bad. Certainly a good place for a pint when you want it.

We needed a quick bite while shopping in union square and this was a nice little break. Service was very quick. We shared the crispy chicken sandwich and a side of fries plus a couple beers. The sandwich was very good and the fries were so perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, totally addictive. But while everything was good, I do think it was pretty overpriced.

While i can't say their was anything wrong with my food, their wasn't anything great. Got the double smash burger on the bartenders reccomendation. Burger itself lacked any real flavor. The aioli on it was very good. $25 for an ok burger seems a bit much. House made chips were just ok. Cocktails were solid but took a long time and I sat at the bar.

Do you like a great beer range but hate stinky dirty places? This is the bar for you. An out of town crowd enjoys a nice place for a beer and some stodgy good. Bartender is super polite and helpful. Food is quick and decent. Price is as you would expect. Sports on many TVs is cool if that’s your thing. Decor of the building is amazing and the playlist is quite good also.

After a long day of exploring the city, our group of eight was ready for a bite to eat. On a busy Saturday night, we were pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately upon walking in—no small feat in this bustling area! One standout feature was the ability to order directly from your phone. It made splitting checks a breeze and eliminated the wait for a server to take our orders. However, we couldn’t help but notice the automatic tip charge, which felt a bit steep considering the lack of traditional table service. For food, we shared the buffalo cauliflower, a soft-baked pretzel, and a Caesar salad. Every dish was exceptional, but the buffalo cauliflower stole the show—possibly the best we’ve ever had! The service we did encounter was fast and friendly, and the overall experience was smooth and enjoyable. If you’re looking for great food and a modern dining experience, this spot is worth a visit.

The beer and location are fantastic. The acting bartender argued with me that I ordered a short beer when I absolutely ordered a tall. Instead of just getting me a tall and charging me for it….he argued. It wasn’t an argument. I’m the customer and I wanted a full beer not a shot glass of beer. English was NOT his first language..:I was half minded to argue back in his language since I speak Spanish pretty well.

I was torn between 3 or 4 stars, but the waitress ruined my first experience. We ordered fries to share, cocktails, a Brussels and squash pizza and a burger with bacon. I loved the vibe and the atmosphere of the restaurant, especially after a day of shopping, in which it is conveniently located. The waitress seemed annoyed from the start. She had a snide remark regarding the cocktail I ordered. The burger came out without bacon, and she seemed less than apologetic. She offered to bring it on the side, but the burger had been half eaten at the point we could finally grab her attention to come over. The pizza was tasty, but the puréed squash was off putting. The texture tasted as if I was eating baby food. It would have been nice if it was slightly lumpy so it had more texture. The fries were simply delicious and devoured in no time. Cocktails were nothing to write home about. Once the meal was complete, the waitress seemed to be MIA for a good 15-20 min., in order for us to get the check. As an SF local, it's doubtful we'll be back. It was way over priced for the food/drinks/service received. Which is a shame, because I could definitely go for some more fries.

Bartlett Hall has a superb location right by Union Square. The place itself is cozy with a good atmosphere, and the beer selection is great — especially the IPA. Unfortunately, the service really let the experience down. The staff member serving tables was extremely rude. Even though there were plenty of free tables, he seemed annoyed that we ordered just beers and not food, and his attitude made us feel very unwelcome. A shame, because the drinks and location are excellent — but I wouldn’t return unless the service improves.

Food was boring and had no flavor. 4 Chicken tenders without anything come for 17$. The burger had no sauce,ketchup etc. The beer was ok. The Service didn't seem to be very interested - the 20% + Autotip will fix it anyway.

The one star is for the beer, which wasn’t terrible. The same can’t be said for the food, service, or atmosphere, however. Ordering beer or food must be done online with the patron’s own phone. Despite the lack of a wait staff, a mandatory 20 percent gratuity must be paid, along with multiple other surcharges, before the order will go through. We both ordered the fish and chips. Though priced at well over twenty dollars, the plate consisted of two pitifully small chunks of breaded fish. No malt vinegar was offered, which might have made the overcooked, chewy meat somewhat edible. The restaurant is completely unheated, so the fish and fries were cold within two minutes of being brought over. Overall, I’d recommend staying away. There are far too many other fine breweries and bars in the city with much better service.
