I love me some seafood, and Lotus of West Pearland never disappoints! The best thing about chains is consistency, and they always deliver same great flavor every time. The seafood is fresh and always on point. Ordering is easy, and I love that they text you when your food is ready. The staff is super friendly too. Definitely one of my go-to spots!
If you love Seafood, with that Cajun flavor? Get over to Lotus Seafood Now! Make sure to order some of that extra “crack sauce” as well. If you come make sure to go early, as a line forms quickly and normally all the seats are taken just as quickly. The service can be a hit or miss depending on your visit and which rep is at the front. It’s always been crowded when we’ve been. We have had a number of items here, but the Hot Box is the way to go. Little bit of everything. Crawfish, shrimp, crab, sausage, potato, and more. This is my gals favorite stop, and we have to go at least once a week. It’s that good. I’ll update with videos on our next visit. Once we dig in, hands aren’t exactly phone friendly. ;) Depending on the time that you visit, the parking can be packed. So be aware. Until next time.
Alright, you walk in here, you best believe they know what they’re doing. This spot’s got that confidence—it’s got that fresh energy. Food’s top-notch, vibe’s got just the right edge, and you step out knowing you’ve been somewhere that doesn’t play around. Definitely recommend this place.
I have eaten at this location a few times. I loved the loud pack each time. Extra spicy gets it done for me. I was about to go to bayou seafood but when I called in a order, they kept picking the phone up and hanging up on me. Im glad they did that because bayou seafood is so basic I dont even know why I wanted to go back. Will make sure to just take the longer drive to Lotus when I am feining for some good fried rice and shrimp.
This is literally the only location I trust. I absolutely love Lotus seafood and that LOUD PACK. That crack sauce is everything and they give you so much food. I can never finish it on the first try. I love the rice and the egg, it’s like a seafood boil with a Cajun twist. I come here when I can when I visit Houston.
Love this spot! Good looking staff and I admire that they have a lot of our young people employed! I always order online and pickup so I never really have to wait on my food. Everything I get is always really tasty! By far the sausage is the best and my other go to is the shrimp and crawfish…. 10/10
This was my first time visiting this location and let me tell you, it was great. I really didn’t know what to expect after reading the reviews but I had a really good experience. The cashier was really helpful and took her time thoroughly answering my questions. The line was long but I did not feel rushed at all. Upon arrival, the line was to the door. I’m assuming this was because it was during happy hour (2pm-5pm) but it moved very quickly. I got the $10 shrimp and a daiquiri and I was very satisfied. The food was really tasty and I love the happy hour specials. Next time, I would consider getting it spicier because regular spicy was not that spicy to me. The daiquiri was not strong at all, but it was pretty good. One complaint that I have is that the expo person was not loud enough when calling numbers. We finally went to the front to check on our food and learned that they had been called our number and we just didn’t hear them. The food was still hot, so this was not an issue at all. Also, be aware that seating is very limited at this location. If you come during a busy time, you may not get a table. We came right at 2pm, so this was not an issue for us. I've eaten as various Lotus locations & the food is very constant. The food is always good. I took my coworkers here because they never had Lotus & they each got the Hot Pack & devoured it. The food was so delicious & the service was on par. We had a good time.
I gave Lotus 4 stars because the food LOOKS phenomenal but just tastes ok. Good enough to eat and be OK with it but certainly not great enough to rush back for. The service was good and the vibe hip for a young crowd. Lol. Because there was an older lady loudly complaining about how LOUD the music was. We had the crawfish, soft shell crabs, crab legs, shrimp, fried okra , corn, sausage, potatoes, boiled eggs and plenty of "crack sauce". We could have skipped the crack sauce all together, it DID NOT meet the hype. Just buy 1 and try it before you get extra packets or the bottle. FYI all the locations do not have all the menu items listed on the website. Lotus was ok, but I won't be making that 30 minute drive back over there for it.
Food is good but today Jan 2, 2026 I approached the register to make an order and a light complexion black male refused to take my order even after his coworker said to him that he needed to finish assisting. His response was I'm going home it's almost time to close. He continued to clock out. That's fine but instead clocking out and leaving he clocked out and hung around laughing about not taking my order. Do better with the type of people you hire.
Food was great and service was okay. It wasn’t overcrowded but it was almost a full house. Someone didn’t clean up behind themselves and left used napkins, food on the table/floor. If someone had been walking around surveying what people have cleaned among themselves and the mess was there, it should have been cleaned. I can’t stand to sit down at any restaurant and the seats/tables and floors are not clean for me to sit and eat comfortably so of course, my friend and I cleaned up behind whoever else. This is the only constructive criticism I have as the people who took our orders were pretty nice and seemed to be in good spirits. The food was a great quality. I got a medium snow crab cluster with a sausage, potato and 2 boiled eggs with water to wash it down. I couldn’t finish it all, but it was definitely satiating.
Food was good. Not at all what you see in videos on social media platforms. Overhyped big time. Service was awful. Nobody speaks and the employees just stand in a group talking and doing anything but helping anybody. Tables were dirty all over the restaurant. Seems like it might’ve been pretty good at one point, but quickly went downhill. It’s definitely not somewhere I would go to again.
Food is good, but don’t order through DoorDash or UberEats. You will not get what you pay for. Spoke with the assistant manager AND manager regarding what I ordered vs what I got. The assistant manager was compassionate while the manager told me that he was glad I enjoyed the Stafford location more so than his location. We spent over $60 for our order delivery and did not get what we paid for. Extra juice was ordered and we got the minimum. I called to inform them to speak with kitchen staff regarding orders but felt that it didn’t matter. The assistant manager was really nice and understanding, while the manager himself could care less if they lose customers.
I’m not sure what’s been going on, but everytime I order a spicy level 3 - they always skimp on the spice. I might as well order mild. My food isn’t spicy at all. I think this might be my last time ordering the loud pack from this location. I’m confused because in the past, each time I ordered spicy level 3 it was spicy. I guess I’ll have to let them know to make my entire pack spicy. I’m disappointed again.
I ordered from Lotus through DoorDash and honestly, I regret it. I spent close to $100, and the seafood quality was extremely disappointing. It did not look fresh, and after tasting it, something clearly wasn’t right. Maybe I should have trusted my first instinct when I saw it, but you don’t expect to pay that much money and receive food that looks questionable. I ended up throwing almost the entire order away. Seafood is not something you can afford to play around with. Freshness matters. They won’t catch me spending my money here again.
Called in an order in a timely manner, 1st the young lady taking the order, hung up, before repeating the order bck, and I wasn’t sure she got my name, so had to call bck. Said she had the name, after me repeating the order bck to her, she said, Yes, that’s what we have. Got there, NOT, what Lotus had!! 3 plates were ordered, only had two ready!! Having to wait an extra 30 mins, for and ordered that should have been ready is UNACCEPTABLE!!! Please train these young people correctly!!! Such bad business!!
First off the manager was rude Friday night. Second Alfredo was trash and third the wings were dry. Also they took my money when I ordered online and did not tell me they ran out of Mac and cheese. Don’t order from this location.
This was my first time trying Lotus Seafood. I’ve seen multiple locations around Houston and finally decided to give one a try. The experience felt disorganized from the start. Ordering was more difficult than it needed to be, and the staff didn’t seem very familiar with the menu. After placing my order, I was told I’d receive a text when it was ready. I did get the text, but when I went up, there was no clear system for pickup. Names were being called out randomly, people were crowded around the counter, and no one seemed sure which orders were actually ready. Food pickup felt chaotic, and when I asked about my order, I was simply told it was coming, with no real clarity. The lack of organization made the whole process awkward and frustrating. The food itself was underwhelming. Seasoning felt light and inconsistent, and the overall flavor just wasn’t there, especially considering the price point. Cleanliness was another concern. Several tables were dirty, and the men’s restroom had no soap, which is unacceptable and raises concerns about food safety. Overall, this first visit didn’t leave a good impression. Between the disorganization, cleanliness issues, and average food, it made for an unappetizing experience. With better options nearby, I wouldn’t return.
I spent $57 on my order tonight. For some reason my gut told me to check my order before i left the parking lot. It was missing my ranch sauce. So i went back in and they rebagged and gave me ranch. I drove away but i kept thinking i did not see my sweet potato fries. Then i went back and told them about i was still missing an order. They could care less that this was the second time of the night i came with missing orders. Got home only to have burnt fries and mediocre food.
I am so angry. Food arrived room temperature. Salad was shredded lettuce used for Hamburgers and it tasted like it was Fish tasted sour. Shrimp fried rice that I paid $8 for was disgustingly nasty. There were tiny bits of egg and fried rice had no taste and not enough sauce or whatever they use to make it. Fried rice portion size was small. I threw all of it in the garbage. And vows this is my last and final order from her. Never Again. Trust me this will be posted on Google. For $34 they just lost a repeat customer. I will say this order was placed and delivered through Door Dash. Door Dash add additional stops for Dasher is probably why food was room temperature. They need to stop stacking orders because it compromises food safety. But Door Dash doesn’t care. Restaurants needs to complain because the ratings impacts there store and not Door Dash.
Placed a to go order on 8/22/25 (order #212, totaling $31.00), ordered a fully loaded load pack with EXACTLY 3 extra crack sauces (in which I paid extra for) just to get home after driving 35 min. to find out they only gave me 1 single crack sauce. Then after contacting the location via phone about the missing items the employee & manager nonchalantly asked if I can just come back up there & get the missing crack sauces. This is a constant issue with this location & I should have known better to go next door to Italiano’s & give them my business. Avoid supporting & purchasing ANYTHING from this location because the staff here has zero cares about customer service & is simply employed there to stand around on their phones & collect a check!!! Never again!!!
