Nice lil hole in the wall bar where the people are friendly the service is good and the drinks will get you right!

One of the best dive bars I've been too in a long time. The bartender was great, the drinks were cheap, and we were able to catch some March Madness games on their TVs.

Nick B always gets my man looking sooo good after each visit. We appreciate you!!

Got me set up and I'm happy. They installed and let me see how I like it for a week. If I need the upgrade they are willing to swap it out. Good stuff guys.

This bar has been a Milpitas staple for many years and I believe was recently purchased and is under New Management. I like what the new management is doing with the place as it looks very well kept and improved since last I had been here. In particular, there bar table which I mean to be the pool table, is in very good condition as of this review. And at a dollar a game is a great value and a massive bonus to the $5 beers you can have at happy hour. The bartender is polite and the venue is nice in a small town sort of way. The patronage is full of character but is in generally good spirit and camaraderie. I expect that the new management will continue to do improvements and will maintain the place well as she seems very sincere about his establishment and I look forward to seeing how this place continues to existent and evolve.

The newly remodeled "The G." is definitely a welcoming atmosphere for nightlife entertainment as well as a cozy place to wind down after a long day at work. I always enjoy myself there, from playing pool to just simple conversations with a variety of characters. Definitely recommend stopping in if you happen to be in the South Bay area.

My Dad hung out here 20 years ago. He past away last year so we went to spread his ashes in the ocean . We stopped by and told them why we were there . The new owner and bartender treated us like family. Great atmosphere I highly recommend for a good time go to the G.

Just came into town today.. seeing what was closest to my hotel. Bartender was great, good conversation. Told me good locations to take my kids. 5 out of 5 for sure. Highly Recommended travelers to stop by.

Small but, has a lot more than some bigger bars. Darts, pool, nice staff, well made drinks,and a jukebox that plays a bunch of everything. A friend left her phone there and was able to pick it up the next day.

Full disclosure: My uncle owns the pool table and jukebox at this bar. I went this past Wednesday (4/27/22) for the first time with my uncle. He had to recover the pool table, and I was there to help him do so (it's a two-person job). We got there too early and so had breakfast at the nearby Black Bear Diner (also another first for me). When we finished, the owner's husband, Carlos, was there and let us in. By the time the bar had officially opened, there were people ready to come in. About an hour or so after we arrived, the owner, Courtney, showed up. We'd never met before, but let me tell you--she's a sweetheart. She made two cocktails for me that I'd never had before, and, wow, were they good. That girl can whip together some mean drinks! The G is a nice bar. I don't really frequent bars, so I can't say whether it's typical or not, but I do know Courtney and Carlos are great people and are certain to make the atmosphere festive and fun. I also can't say if they're frequently in their bar or just on certain days, but I'd be willing to bet they hire bartenders who share their festive philosophy. What I'm trying to say is, if you're in the area, please stop in. Grab a drink, shoot some pool, play some tunes, and watch the game (there are five large flat screens hanging above the bar). I'm sure you'll have a great time.

The owners are wonderful, bartenders are beautiful with great personalities, regulars are friendly & social, its dog friendly and next door has a great Indian restaurant if you get hungry. I was afraid their recent remodel was going to change the vibe of this place, but nope its still got the same great vibe but now even better! They are also currently in the process adding an outside patio seating area, which will be great for hot summer nights. There is also a DJ on certain nights and Karake on Sunday nights.

Total dive bar, I love em. Drunks at noon playing songs on the jukebox and cheap drinks for the area. Not an every day spot or even a happy hour spot, but if you need a no frills drink at any time of day with no judgment, this is your best option in the area.

Fun people, bar tender was a sweetheart, nostalgic of my post metal,punk days with the karaoke. Very strong drinks. I do wish there was more space.

Is it the best dive in the area? I don't know. Probably! But it was a great place to hang out with buddies I don't see often enough. The drinks were very affordable and the barkeeper was very pleasant.

Such a dive bar, you better bring your scuba gear. OK drinks. Couple weirdo regulars. If you wait long enough you'll maybe even see a domestic dispute, like me.

Be ready to drop coin on the drinks, but soak in the experience! Ultimate luxury, definitely a place to take someone to impress! Service was good, just had a personality clash with the waiter, which is whatever - otherwise a great time. Can't say I'll be back, but I'm glad I went.

I walked in on a Wednesday evening around 5pm sat down at the bar made eye contact with the bartender and she didn’t ask if I wanted a drink for about 15 minutes. Then we she finally did I sat there for another 10 minutes while she serve it seemed like regulars before me some who walked in and sat down after I ordered my drink and got served first. I ended up walking out. Cool bar and set up people in there seemed chill and was having fun. But if your not a regular you don’t feel welcomed.

NOTHING Good to say about this place it's a DUMP ..!! Bartenders will rip you off, they have Karaoke every Friday and Saturday night it seems that Only the Bartender or Bartender's do the signing and they sound HORRIBLE you will want to RUN OUT OF THERE NEVER LOOKING BACK..!! Note: I want to take my One Star back!! 😡
