We were in from out of town to see a Brewers game and so happy we chose Tupelo Honey for brunch. We had amazing service from the warm and friendly hostess who seated us to Tanya who took GREAT care of us during our meal. The food was delicious - I highly recommend the fried green tomatoes, chicken & waffles and their collard greens - yum!! We also loved that they serve their Bloody Mary with a chaser of beer! Wish we had room for dessert as I was craving their Banana Pudding. It's a gorgeous spot and perfect for events or family get togethers. Definitely recommend it!!

Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen in Milwaukee has quickly become one of my favorite spots around town. The chicken and waffles were crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. The chicken is served boneless. They have a wide selection of mimosas and non-alcoholic drinks. I had the peach lemonade. I’d describe the atmosphere as warm, welcoming, and vibrant. Service was top-notch. I was seated quickly and the staff was genuinely friendly. If you’re craving comfort food with Southern flair, this is your go-to. I’ll definitely be back!

Jackson Reviews and moments

The steak is horrible I'm sorry I have to give a review so the people know. It's not a steak that's worth it at all the taste and texture is not steak worthy at all. The potatoes are average. I love the fried green tomatoes and grits what an amazing dish that's all I would recommend from here. The waitress was great the people are great the place is clean and amazing looking. The food doesn't live up to the hype. My friend got another dish she had to send back because it wasn't made right and didn't taste right I can't comment on that dish because it was shrimp and I'm allergic!!!!! So j hate shrimp. The steak was really inedible remove it from the menu and replace it with a nice chuck!!!!!

Tupelo Honey is an elevated establishment for breakfast, lunch or brunch. The Shrimp and Grits are outstanding and the regular coffee is really good. We tried the Chicken and Waffles which weren’t the best but not bad either. The biscuits are only two to an order and rather small for the price although the homemade jams are very good. I highly recommend Tupelo Honey for your next meal

Walking into Tupelo Honey feels like entering a modern-day Southern kitchen where comfort meets class. The restaurant was lively, filled with the warm hum of guests excited to eat, and I immediately got the sense that this place was a favorite for a reason. After a short but courteous wait at the host stand, I took a seat at the bar—prime viewing for the organized chaos behind the scenes. The bartender was a master of his craft, working with incredible speed but just as much intention. Between shaking up cocktails and managing orders, he made sure to personally check in with each guest at the bar, including me. That level of care in service doesn’t go unnoticed. Now, let’s get into the Shrimp & Grits—an absolute knockout. The dish came out hot, fragrant, and ready to impress. The grits were creamy and smooth, the shrimp tender and perfectly seasoned. Every bite delivered a balance of flavor where the spices didn't just hit—they danced across my taste buds, leaving a trail of bite-sized morsels of deliciousness. Honestly, it was so good I scraped the bowl clean. My only wish? That there had been just a little bit more—because I ate every last bite and still found myself wanting more. To wash it all down, I had the Blueberry Lemonade, which deserves its own spotlight. It was refreshing, lightly sweet, and had just the right amount of tartness. I enjoyed it so much that I slurped the last drop through my straw—and yes, I was momentarily embarrassed. But then I reminded myself: if it’s not slurp-worthy, is it even that good? Tupelo Honey left an impression. The food was exceptional, the service top-tier, and the atmosphere inviting. I’ll definitely be back—and next time, I’m trying something new from the menu... after another round of those shrimp and grits, of course.

Southern comfort food right here in Milwaukee! Tupelo honey is one of my must stops when I’m visiting Milwaukee, I’ve never had a bad meal here. The biscuits are indeed that good, if you haven’t tried them, get an order for the table. Obviously they are quite filling. Everything else is right there waiting to warm you up with a blissful, warm, southern hug. Cast iron pork, Brussels sprouts, fried chicken, cheesy grits you name it, all fantastic!

If ever in Milwaukee, I recommend the restaurant Tupelo Honey. We had one of the BEST meals we’ve had at a restaurant in a LONG time: Shrimp and Grits with goat cheese and andouille sausage and Sweet and Spicy Southern Fried Chicken! Absolutely wonderful!

Conveniently located at the edge of 3rd ward in the heart of Milwaukee, Tupelo offers a well designed southern fare you can not miss. The flavors are bold and dishes are balanced. You can take the Hop here or park across the street at one the large surface lots or garages. Highly recommended.

A quick walk from our hotel on a snowy morning. Excellent breakfast in a fun atmosphere and great service. Cheesey grits with green tomato salsa was amazing. The blueberry compote with the biscuits made it hard to decide between the namesake honey or blueberries for the topping. A memorable brunch rather than just a quick bite.

OMG Google maps butchered the directions. One way streets and tall buildings. Your better off reading the map and then turning maps off. Signage for restaurant is subdued so may miss it. Look hard!! Its on a corner and black faced building. Park in lot across the street. Very nice restaurant. Very polite young man was our waiter. But all the staff were very nice. I got Friday Fish Fry(perch) and hubby got the same. W/ side garden salad...ask for honey for your biscuits. Only one downside, when I pay $23 for fried fish its usually all you can eat. Im a quaint small town girl. 3 pieces of fish but everything was very tasty.

Our server Grace was absolutely amazing. She was super polite, helpful, patient, and kind. I totally appreciate her! Our food was wonderful and I can't wait to take more people in next time. Thank you so much for making this a wonderful way to celebrate my birthday with a new baby. :) I'll be back soon!

Amazing amazing amazing food! Hubs and I came here for our anniversary and we were not disappointed at all! The atmosphere is fun, warm and welcoming. We went on a Saturday night which we did call a head to set reservation for a table. We grabbed the chicken tenders and friend green tomatoes as appetizers I had the friend chicken, collard & Mac Hubs had the surf and turf. AND the peacan pie for dessert which OMG. I am not a pie girl but I literally had to order one to go and came back 3 days later for another piece. I highly recommend this place

This place has a really nice atmosphere, tall ceilings, big windows. It's very open. You feel like you have room but also privacy because you're far enough away from other people and it's just a simple classiness that's really nice. They are known for their biscuits. It's Southern so I went straight for the shrimp and grits and I was not disappointed at all. Got the extra spicy bloody as well. Place is amazing. Highly recommend it. We got there midday And were seated promptly. But were not greeted for (no exaggeration) 5 minutes. So we got up and went to the bar and that's where we ended up ordering our food and hanging out. Our bartender was top notch.

We are BACK BABY! I'm never disappointed at Tupelo Honey. Our first visit was after my kiddos high school graduation. And tonight my kiddo is buying me dinner. This place has good food, good atmosphere and apparently brings good luck. Ordered Honey Dusted Fried Chicken and Collard Greens. It was a little overcooked but crispy and not a lot of uniform flavor. A bit salty for my taste. It was good. My kiddo had the Sweet Tea Glazed Chicken Sandwich and BOMB Rosemary Potatoes. We also tried Peach and Pineapple Porch Sipper and Lavender Tea. Of course my kiddo had Chocolate Cake and I knew I could taste it once we got it home Boy was I wrong...I blinked and I missed my window to have a bite of the Chocolate Cake. Overall it was nice to be in a cozy atmosphere and have fast and courteous service on a Friday night in Downtown Milwaukee. Better get you some Tupelo Honey. You will be a repeat customer, I guarantee!!

I’ve been living in Milwaukee for years now and somehow never ended up stopping by. Family came into town and suggested trying Tupelo. Great spot to show people, good chicken and atmosphere is great! Definitely would reccomend.

We had the blackened Mahi Mahi and shrimp and grits. Both were delicious. Fried okra was amazing and the kids loved the grilled cheese and tomato soup. I tried the old fashioned flight which was really good as well.

Let's pile into the car and visit grandma for brunch on the farm... somewhere along the way, grandma stopped in and started cooking at Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar. May she continue the fine fresh food served here in Milwaukee. From the first Bloody Mary to our last Lemonade, our drinks were refreshing and a perfect blend of sweet, sour and alcohol. The appetizers are shareable, go ahead and order plate after plate of biscuits, cracklings and asparagus, they are worth every calorie. Their sides make a great pairing to any Fried Chicken entree. The spicy chicken with Mac was the table favorite with the crispy burnt cheddar mac pressed into the waffle... I'd swear how good they are but grandpa would be too close in ear shot. Kids really like the selection of waffles and chicken strips... the same batter and breading is quite delicious. Service was on point. Friendly, fast and the door hosts were genuine. Definitely will not be our last stop to Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar.

Great food and cocktails. Stopped by for dinner and cocktails before joining friends at Summerfest. The Friday perch fish fry was fantastic and luckily it came with one fantastic biscuit. The “hello, hot stuff” cocktail was delicious.

Awesome lunch spot with an aesthetic vibe! We had the broccoli and grits both were good! I got the harvest chicken bowl and it was so delicious. The baked Mac and cheese was super good too. Our waiter was super friendly. Will be coming back again 😊

Always an amazing meal when we come here. We live over an hour away and still make the drive occasionally for Tupelo Honey. The honey dusted chicken is amazing and the rosemary parmesan crispy potatoes are like crack. I also had an orange cinnamon roll old fashioned, which sounded a little weird, but was actually really good!

Came here for lunch with my partner and I am SO glad that we did. The chicken waffles were amazing and my partner enjoyed her meal as well. The sides were ALL appetizing. These greens are fresh, not canned and the macaroni and cheese was delightful. Honestly the food was so delicious we actually ended up coming here three days later for my birthday dinner and it was equally enjoyable! The drink menu was extensive. Literally a mimosa flavor for every taste pallet. And their house cocktails were incredible. I absolutely love their lavender lemonade! Breakfast, lunch, or dinner THIS is the place to be Milwaukee!

Great stop for any meal of the day with some southern flavor with great service. Wife and I shared fried green tomatoes and steak/eggs with peach lemonade and mimosa.

My husband and I stopped when we were in town. I being pregnant and craving spicy chicken and pickles got the sweet & spicy fried chicken & waffles and asked for pickles on the side as it comes with cilantro. My husband because I couldn't make up my mind got the mac-n-cheese waffles with Asheville hot fried chicken and we split so we could try both. Both were amazing and will defiantly be back. Only changes is to add pickles to the sweet & spicy waffles or make your own pickles and we know you can do amazing things with food!! Thank you so much for hitting my pregnancy craving on the head!

The atmosphere was great. Our server was sunshine I believe. She was very attentive. The food came out quick and it was good. I got the honey Sriracha chicken dark and it was good. I had the collard Greens and they were very good...I just wish corn bread came with it. The collard had bacon in it and my lovely date had smothered chicken with Mac and cheese and we got the biscuits. The biscuits were very good nice and fluffy and huge and came with honey and butter and homemade blueberry jam. We also had the ginger beer and I wish they had refills because it was very good and refreshing. Overall out of 5 I would give the place a 4.5 out of 5. I would definitely go back.

The food was fabulous. We went there to celebrate my Mom’s 85th birthday. The atmosphere had a really nice vibe too. I had the Sriracha Chicken and waffles. No need for syrup because it’s that good!

This was our first time here and we will most definitely be back! Our server, Sunshine, was super nice and provided great service! The food was absolutely delicious. We started with the Biscuits for a cause with blueberry jam. They were perfectly warm and tasted amazing. I had the Mountain Morning Bowl which was very good and unique with the grits and potatoes. My partner had the Smothered Chicken which was also a hit. The potatoes for both of us were done to perfection. Lastly, the atmosphere was great. The decor is so cute and has great lighting. Thanks for a great brunch!

Yesterday was my family's first time there. We had an amazing time. There were 13 of us, and our server, Eric, accommodated every request, and there were many. 😆 He enjoyed us as much as we enjoyed him. The food is very delicious. We each had different meals, and each dish exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere is awesome. The restrooms were clean, which also is a must have. Our mother was very impressed. We will be back soon for her birthday. 🥰

This was our first time at a Tupelo Honey and I must say it made quiet the good impression. We had a reservation and were able to be promptly seated. Our waitress was extremely courteous and somehow even when she had to come back to tell me they had sold out of meat loaf she made it a pleasant experience. I ended up with the burger, which was really good, and got the brussel sprouts as my side, which were outstanding. My kids both got the chicken and waffles and my wife very much enjoyed her shrimp and grits. Good food, nice atmosphere, and lovely staff.

Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar is a great spot for comforting Southern food and a welcoming atmosphere. The dishes are flavorful and clearly made with care, especially their classics like fried chicken and biscuits. I loved the house-made lemonade, so fresh and refreshing! The restaurant has a warm, cozy vibe, and the service is friendly and attentive. Overall, it’s a solid choice for brunch or dinner if you’re craving Southern comfort food.

I was invited to meet at Tupelo Honey's for a quick lunch meeting. It was my first time dining in, but it definitely won't be my last. I ordered the Dunk 'n Dip, half grilled cheese and tomato soup and a house salad with grilled chicken and pecans. Two simple meals but definitely delicious and packed full of flavor. The service was fantastic, swift and courteous. Smooth and warm atmosphere with both modern and cozy made the space feel comfortable and relaxing. The prices were reasonable for the amount of food I ordered. I loved that.

Incredible food and great location, we were seated after a very short wait with no reservation at 11 on a Saturday. Service was efficient and reasonably friendly. Shrimp and Grits was outstanding. Cold brew was a bit bitter, but strong! Will be back!

Good food and good service for my first Tupelo Honey experience! I had the whiskey burger which wasn’t my absolute favorite burger but it wasn’t bad either. The biscuits on the other hand were really good so I recommend those for sure. I got the sweet and spicy chicken to go and found it to be pretty good as I’m sure it’s better fresh. Overall if I’m in the area again I’ll probably give a few other things a try here another time.

Had a road trip to WI from IL, we asked someone where a great place to have brunch and they recommended this place. We enjoyed our meals, I need to do better remembering the name of my order for review purposes. But I had eggs with bacon and grit, it was new combination for me but I enjoyed it. I ordered a drink that I didn’t like, I told the waitress, she said okay but didn’t deduct it from my bill? I had handed my credit card before I checked, and I was in no mood to argue so I let it be. But otherwise, great food and beautiful restaurant.

C

Very nice place to take family or date. The bartender are impressive with their drinks. In regards to food, I would say that I was not impressed. I ordered the seared salmon and fried okra. My date ordered fried chicken and greens. As an appetizer, I tried green tomatoes. While the chicken and greens were good, the salmon was overcooked. The green tomatoes were good too.

Tupelo Honey in Milwaukee is an excellent spot for Southern comfort food done right. I had the chicken and waffles along with the biscuits, and both were absolutely fantastic—crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service was friendly throughout our visit. The only downside I’d note is that the nonalcoholic drink menu felt a bit limited, which left fewer options than I would’ve liked. Still, the food more than made up for it, and I’d definitely come back again for another round.

Delicious food and delightful server! Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The buttermilk biscuits are the best I've had since moving out of the South!! The shrimp and grits as well as the chicken and waffles are authentic and delicious. The Mississippi Mud pie is a real treat. The non-alcoholic mimosa flight was fantastic, particularly the blueberry lavender. Looking forward to going again sometime!

Participated in their $12.95 weekday lunch special - cup of soup/side + a sandwich. Food was good, atmosphere is the CUTEST (love all the decor, natural lighting). Banana pudding is delicious. Overall, a great place for a casual get together or brunch. Nice to have a Southern kitchen in Milwaukee when you just want to try something different. It's not a life-changing enough culinary experience to earn 5 stars from me, though!

This restaurant delivered a fantastic dining experience with dishes that were as visually appealing as they were delicious. The chicken and waffles were a standout, featuring crispy, golden-brown fried chicken with a flavorful glaze that had the perfect balance of sweetness and spice. The waffles were light and fluffy, providing a great contrast to the crunchy chicken. The drizzle of sauce on the plate added a nice artistic touch. Lastly, the fried green tomatoes were a delightful surprise. The crispy, golden coating encased the tender tomatoes inside, and the garnish of fresh herbs added a refreshing touch. The side sauce complemented the dish beautifully, enhancing the overall flavor. Overall, the food was thoughtfully prepared, well-seasoned, and beautifully plated. I’d definitely recommend this spot for a flavorful and satisfying meal!

Went here for a late lunch on Saturday. About 2. Server was Eric, did a great job. Food was good they do know how to make chicken. I had chicken sandwich and grits. I could have used more grits, I think the serving was only like 4 ozs, they were pretty good. Wife had the white meat fried chicken and fried potatoes, said those were good. Chicken was not dry. Son had chicken and biscuits also said they were good. Had the pecan pie for desert, it was a super small slice for the price. It was okay, I can make pecan pie better than that but it was okay. You can taste the bourban. Check out the 2 pictures of pie. The one served and the one the trickes you into ordering it. Overall it was good but not sure it was worth $84. EXCEPT! the bathrooms are unisex and the horror show of the one that my wife made the mistake to enter had been visited by some Neanderthal whose mommy had neglected to teach him how to go pee-pee as a wee tyke. And wee he did. On the seat, on the rim, on the side of the bowl and on the floor. Amazed he had not pissed on the walls and in the sink. The restrooms need to be cleaned way more often if you want to get a 5 star rating from us.

Love the decor throughout the restaurant! The “kiss my grits” sign… love! Second time here and I will say the food was a lot better. Seasoned fried green tomatoes, the grits are good. I have had better though. Fried pickles are good, the cauliflower as well is good too! Chicken and waffles were good, I had the Spicy with the sauce on the side. Others ordered the avocado bacon chicken sandwich, Cobb salad, Mac and cheese (fair). No complaints at our table. Wait staff were super friendly. Drinks were really good too!

I've wanted to try this place ever since it opened. It looked so pretty from the outside, and it truly is a beautiful space inside. We came here for lunch, making an online reservation with ease, which was followed up by confirmation texts. We started with the biscuits, which were absolutely amazing! I highly recommend having them with the butter, jam AND honey. All three pair perfectly! I had the Fried Green Tomatoes, and really enjoyed the grits that came with it. The goat cheese they were mixed with gave them a smooth texture and wonderful flavor. The Bless Your Heart mimosa was also good, and not too sweet but very refreshing and delicious. I found the portions to be of good size. Everyone left content having had just the right amount. I hope to go back and try more!

Food was great, I also got a drink of the bubbly sparkling wine which was good as well. Nice quiet place the only problem I had was my server. She didn’t tell us her name, she brought us drinks and came back about 10 minutes later to take our orders and after we got our food we never seen her face again. I am a server myself you should take 30 to a minute to greet your guest, after drinks 3 mins to let them settle and after food 1 minute into them eating to make sure everything is tasting good and cooked correctly. We also signed up for the social club and it said if you signed up you get free biscuits during your visit but she was very short with us and told us we were incorrect and it was the next time we came in she didn’t offer our dogs water or anything and yes they are well behaved and trained. I don’t think I’ll be back we do t like spending money just to feel uneasy.

First time here. We came for lunch. We had reservations for two, and there were plenty of open tables. The atmosphere is bright and fresh. Got seated right away and our server did a great job of getting us settled in, with waters, and drinks. We ordered a Summer Berry Salad, and the Lunch Special, Half Shrimp Po Boy, with Collard Greens. Both of these came out quickly and were good, but didn't really stand out. I felt like the Po Boy had too much sauce with overpowered the shrimp. The collard greens had a bit too much liquid. With the quick deliver and the presentation I got the impression that these weren't made to fresh to my order. A good place to come for a quick bite. And the price made it a good value.

Fun place to stop by for lunch. Decor was nice. The was good but nothing to write home about so the 3 stars. The best thing we are was the waffles 🧇 from the kids menue. Shrimp and grits were delicious but all others were just ok.

One of my favorites in Milwaukee and continues to be. Came in for lunch during dining week to see how they do it. Definitely recommend getting reservations during an event like this. Actually, need to get one, cuz they were not allowing walk ins when we came in. We had some time so I made a reservation online for 45 minutes later, walked around a bit, and came inside to be seated. Our hostess, Victoria, was super friendly despite the busy day, as was our server, but he didn’t tell us his name. Vibes here are awesome. It just makes me feel good coming in here to eat. Every time. Biscuits with blueberry jam & butter Fantastic!! Really, the biscuits were a bit dense but just right, and the jam and butter were perfect pairs. Fried Green Tomatoes For the dining week, this dish comes with one slice of fried tomato. Very good! But I believe they forgot the basil. Pimento cheese queso I didn’t want to eat the chips that came with… but the queso itself was good. Its was better with my burger… I dunked the burger in this sauce and it was delicious. Whiskey & onion smash burger I asked for no buns and extra lettuce. They use sliced lettuce, which defeats the purpose of lettuce as buns… but I guess you can’t be too picky on dining week. I ate the burger like a salad, kind of, and it worked out well. The smash burger patty was good. The menu said 2 patties, but we both only got one patty each. The whiskey infused onions were quite delicious. So a bit of a hit or miss here. Mini heavenly banana pudding Ok, but not heavenly. Mini Mississippi Mud Pie Now this one, was more heavenly! Scrumptious! Overall, everything was great, as I expected from Tupelo Honey. One thing I didn’t like was the table. Their table for 2 is super small. Barely any room to put your phone on the table (I guess there are many who would not want you to do that anyway…). I didn’t notice this before cuz I had always been in larger groups, and their table for 4 is adequate for 4 people. But for a date night, the table for 2 make me feel too crowded. *** Previous review: Hubby decided to get the sweet and spicy chicken sandwich instead of the smothered chicken, and was totally satisfied. They do their chicken good! We also had the harvest bowl with fried chicken - This was a huge pice of flat friend chicken atop a bed of quinoa - it was a LOT of quinoa. Also asked for some sriracha honey (extra $.75), and it was a LOT of sriracha honey sauce. The sauce should have come on a separate dish, not atop the quinoa. Wasted food. sides: Broccolini Brussel sprouts collards with bacon fries ALL GOOD!!! so GGOOOD!!! Mahi Mahi with creole butter - One of the best mahi mahi I've had. But! It was a $24 dish. Their most expensive one in the menu. My plate came with a teeny tiny piece of fish with melted butter falling down the sides. I was at first taken aback at the size of the fish and had to ask our server to make sure this was it. She laughed and said yes. Everyone at our table was kind of shocked... this is a southern kitchen, after all, not a French restaurant. And all the other portions, including the sides, were so heaping that I couldn't feel but feel somewhat cheated out with the size. It was more like I had ordered Brussel sprouts as the entree and a piece of fish as a side/appetizer. Size aside, though, the fish had delicious butter sauce falling down to its side. (and I wasn't mad anymore after my first bite. it was really good.) BUT, the sides that came with this dish (Brussel sprouts and collards) came in these black cast iron bowls, and one of the bowls was touching my fish. Please. Don't put serving ware on top of my food and then serve it like that. The one entree I could see being most keto friendly was the cast iron pork, with the sriracha honey glaze on the side. But it was so tender and delicious! The Cobb Salad looked really good, but a Cobb is a Cobb. I would get it for lunch, but not for dinner.

Made reservations through Open Table. Clearly noted on the reservation that it was a birthday dinner for one of our group. Never acknowledged, never mentioned by the waiter, who had so many tables and couldn't give personalized attention. Food was meh... seemed like whomever was cooking didn't want to be there. Food was lukewarm, plates were sloppy. Smothered chicken had a weird rubbery texture that was concerning-like it was possibly bad. Had to stop eating for fear of getting food poisoning. For the price paid (over $125 for 3 people), we'll go somewhere else-where quality of food and personalized service are part of the dining experience. Not impressed.

We had a very disappointing experience with our food. Two dishes were sent back. Which I rarely do at restaurants. The Friday fish fry was completely bland and the soup tasted like it was from a bag or can. (Chicken poblano) Our waitress was awesome, very gracious and apologetic. So no issues there. Also the restaurant atmosphere is always aesthetically pleasing.

Space is nice, location is great; easy to get to. The food is why I came here and is the reason I will probably not return. I ordered the Asheville hot chicken ranch melt and it was lukewarm at best as it seems to have sat a while. The biscuits and butter/peaches were pretty good as was the dessert of banana pudding and the mud pie. I expected more from the main dish.

Me & My bestfriend searched the area for a good breakfast spot. People on Facebook were bragging about this restaurant in particular. We made a reservation for 11am, being the first ones there we were seated right away. We started off with a non-alcoholic southern soda Pineapple and Peach Porch Sipper which I personally did not care for it. You would think it would be a little sweeter with the fruit purée but the sparkling water over powered everything. But the Southern Hospitality Mimosa was delicious. We started the meal off with the fried green tomatoes on a bed of goat cheese stone ground grit as an appetizer. The tomatoes were hard, but the breading made up for it. The grits were a good compliment to the tomatoes. Then we ordered the country style chicken and waffles. The waffles were too dense and floury, the chicken was pink and lacked salt. The eggs had a weird milky taste but the gravy was fine. Then we ordered the Mac and cheese, super watery with no flavor. It literally tasted like just pasta no cheese, no salt, flavor nothing. The Parmesan crusted potatoes were actually good surprisingly. The braised bacon collard greens tasted like canned Glory greens. They were sweet, spicy and tangy which in turn made the greens disgusting. We did order the banana pudding at the beginning but she suggested we wait to bring out until we were done eating so it could stay cold but quickly changed our minds based on the meal we’d just had. I give the food a 2/10 me and my bestfriend didn’t enjoy our meal at all and we’ll probably never come back. I do not recommend this to anybody that likes flavor because you want get that here.
