This restaurant was a delightful discovery. We came on a family member's recommendation and it didn't disappoint. We ordered several dishes to share, each one more delicious than the last: croquettes, a cheese board, and the patatas bravioli—oh, those potatoes! They're a must-try. Finally, we had a perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful sliced beef. The desserts, especially the tiramisu, were also delicious. The service was professional and friendly. Highly recommended.
I owe them a paella that I haven't even been able to get to them yet... because at this magnificent restaurant, you order a rice dish and they deliver it with the paella pan to return, and everything. They're attentive, they bring you lovely tapas while you wait for your order, and they're charming. And the arroz a banda was delicious. Perhaps I would have added more aioli; they only gave me a tiny spoonful, and it was very meager. I also ordered some ham and oxtail croquettes, which were excellent.
A place we'll always return to. We went to celebrate a family gathering, although we had already dined there on other occasions. The group menus are excellent, with great quality and quantity of food. The portions are generous, and the dishes are carefully prepared and well-balanced. And what can I say about the staff? They were incredibly helpful and available for everything, from the organization to the service. One of the best places in Villalba.
We had lunch today and really enjoyed both the food and the service. Excellent value for money, the daily menu is €14.50, which includes a starter, main course, a drink, and dessert or coffee, and they also include a delicious appetizer. Don't forget to try their salad, it's spectacular. We'll definitely be back.
We were in the mountains and this place was recommended to us. The complimentary appetizer with your first drink was delicious. We ordered ham and oxtail croquettes. The ham croquettes were spectacular. The breaded calamari was very good. The mille-feuille with avocado was absolutely delicious. We also had grilled entrecote, Iberian pork shoulder (all cooked perfectly), and free-range eggs with chorizo—fantastic. Everything was accompanied by water, beer, vermouth, and soft drinks. Desserts: Ice cream scoops and nougat sand. Highly recommended.
We were celebrating a birthday, and they were top-notch. The food was very good; I recommend the oxtail and ham croquettes; they were super creamy. The fried eggs were also very good, as the potatoes weren't overcooked. The calamari was perhaps over-battered for my taste. The desserts were good, with the carrot cake highly recommended. The cheesecake, however, wasn't particularly appealing, as it was made from the refrigerator instead of the oven. I have to highlight the 1906 beer, which isn't available in many places. The portions are quite large and reasonably priced.
The food was spectacular, the service impeccable, and the presentation incredible. They even explain how to mix the dish to enhance the flavor, and it worked perfectly. Peas with octopus and potato foam—the best dish I've ever eaten. It's a shame I took the photo after mixing the ingredients; I hadn't imagined it would taste that good and didn't think to take a picture. And all of this for a set menu under €13! Highly recommended; it's worth going and enjoying their food. I've added a photo of the peas with octopus before mixing. I went back to try it again and brought some friends from Madrid, who were delighted.
Very nice place with great cuisine. Very polite staff.
👌👍👌👍
The daily menu includes: first course, second course, drink, bread, and dessert or coffee. Before the first course arrived, they brought me a bowl of fresh tomato and olive oil to spread on the bread. They have four choices for the first course, four choices for the second course, and a special menu option. First course: Peas with sautéed leeks, black pudding cream, and cheese. Very tasty and tender; the cream had a mild black pudding flavor. Second course: Creamy eggs with potatoes, sautéed baby eels, and cured ham. Very tasty; the only downside was that I was expecting sliced ham, but it was just a slice. Dessert: Natural yogurt with strawberry jam, also very good. Highly recommended, and the cuisine is well-prepared.
Restaurant on the Moral Zarzal road near the town of Villalba. The food is delicious; everything we tried was very tasty and plentiful. They have a set menu for €14.50 (November 2025) and an extensive à la carte menu. The restaurant is spacious and well-maintained, with a bar area, indoor dining, and an outdoor dining area. The service was adequate but not particularly impressive, and a bit slow. Overall, a very good option if you're in the area.
A good restaurant for a reasonable price. The food is generally very good, the menu is affordable and quite extensive, and there's also a selection of appetizers and some delicious sandwiches. The place is very clean and has several different atmospheres. It's a shame that the wait times are a bit long.
Regular
It's a good place I only wish they had more standard Spanish style dishes so we have a wider choice. Less fancy more traditional it's all about Choice
We had been eating at this restaurant every time we had a family meal, but last night's experience was a bit disappointing. Balsamic vinegar of our salad was scarse in relation to the quantity of the veggies. Main dish servings weren't as big as I remembered they used to be. Our Secreto Iberico ( highly-marbled pork cut) was medium rare in spite of telling beforehand to be well done. The waiting was long. The piece of fruit, a pear, was totally rotten and it was changed to a melon. Hubby missed some hot soup but there was nothing of any sorts in the list. In their favor, the dishes were nicely presented.
This was our first time here, and we noticed that the menu displayed outside (photo attached at 2:52 PM) listed "Judiones de la Granja" (large white beans) with their accompaniments as the first option, highlighted in a different color. It certainly looked very tempting. But... a nasty surprise! The waitress told us that, despite what the sign outside said, they didn't have the much-desired beans. We mentioned that they were advertised outside, and she said they were substituting them with stew. Well, we don't know what to think. Whether it was a ploy or not, we'll never know. But that's just not right. Otherwise, everything was reasonably good. There were three of us; two had the set menu, and I ordered à la carte. The portions and quality were good, except for some eggs with blood sausage, which honestly tasted like nothing. If you found this helpful, please let me know. Thank you.
