Nicely redone. One of the last genuine places out there…. if you’re tired (like me) of all the Foofity wannabe-bougie-shenanigans places; and ready for regular people food- try this spot. You’ll like it
Always great pizza. A popular spot so expect a wait. Best to order ahead and pickup
To be blunt.... I’m a fat Italian bus driver that eats at different Pizzeria’s all over the N.East Coast for the last 25 years.... That being said.... So they boasted of a famous meatball on the Website!!,.....I decided to “run with that”.... ((They delivered right to my bus in Montauk)).... I beat them on 3 bucks (they undercharged me & told me at delivery, but gave me the option to pay the price I was quoted on the phone).... I knew the price seemed cheap.... I chose to not pay, then felt bad...Oh well.... that’s all here nor there.... The food!!! The Greek salad was excellent with a home made thick dressing that was very tasty!! The wings!! Breaded and cooked perfect!! ((Plenty of blue cheese and hot sauce on the side)).... and finally... Da Meatball Parm was Excellent’e!! Very good home made meatballs in quite abundance too!!! I was definitely happy, full & impressed enough to write this memo.
Pizza was excellent along with service. Best pizza in Montauk. Hadn't been out here in 11 yrs, no change, delicious. Eat in, take out, delivery. Full menu too. I'll be back.
I have been going here for 40 years, first as a surfer in the '70s. Excellent classic NY pizza, reasonably priced. I've ordered everything from a slice to 15 pies at once for a party - always very good. Love their heros as well. I live out of state now but make a point of going there whenever I'm in Montauk.
I ordered my pizza online and waited in the rain for it to be done. When I grabbed my pizza, I noticed something was wrong so I took it back to the front where the gentlemen helping me showed me that I clearly placed the order incorrectly. He said “no problem, I’ll fix it for you.” It was pouring rain, they were insanely busy and he still made the extra effort to fix what was clearly a user error on my part. The food was great but the people are even better.
Small pizzeria in Montauk. Food was excellent and the service was good, it wasn't busy when we sat down since we came in after lunch but before dinner. People started to come in as it got closer to dinner time
Pizza was very delicious. Garlic knots was cold but delicious. I picked up the order and the customer service was pleasant.
Excellent food and service, i guess if you treat people with respect they return the favor. Amazing meatball hero, only recommendation would be extra cheese. Decent thin crust style pizza at a fair price
Nice place to have a slice or two. Staff was friendly and helpful. They had a special of 4 slices (pepperoni or meatball) for $15. Might seem pricey, but they were fairly thick slices with a generous amount of toppings.
service was fabulous, everyone so friendly, and the food is sooooo delicious!!!!! i had shrimp and broccoli, not on the menu, but they honored my request and did an outstanding job.
The tomato basil pizza was sublime. The calamari was fab. The spaghetti alla vodka was awesome. And, they stayed open 30 minutes later than usual on a 10 degree night to deliver to my hungry crew....and, finally, you can’t beat the prices. A true treasure is what we found here in montauk.
AMAZING!! Food and GREAT staff! Me and my father came today and got chicken Alfredo and their shrimp and broccoli Alfredo and I was definitely impressed! I’m a very picky eater and haven’t been able to find good Alfredo in years and I definitely found my new go to place! My dads shrimp Alfredo was packed with shrimp he was so happy and it tasted delicious! The portions are huge and the prices are better than reasonable! Everyone was so friendly and polite. Definitely recommend anyone going to Montauk and wants some amazing food to stop in! I will be back soon!
I believe it’s being around for a long time, I got many take outs from there. It’s not the best pizza but I do believe it’s super convenient and very affordable for Montauk. I give extra star for that, Hamptons/Montauk can get super pricey but it’s great to have an option of pizza village where in 20 min you can get meal for 4 ppl under $50. Would recommend to look at the menu if you want to save some money)
Our family members have been going here for years and it really never disappoints! We stopped in for a late lunch this year when in town. We ordered the classic plain pie but also did a Grandma pie which was out of this world tasty!
Although it might now be on the current menu, ask for a Mexican pie! Delicious! Just as good as the former owner's pie. Update: not sure if it is just because it is off season, but they aren't making the Mexican pie. Keep asking for it. Hopefully they'll bring it back! Dropping a star until they do.
When looking for places to eat in Montauk, we were looking for a local shop to feast at. Came across this in our Google search rated as one of the best pizza places in Montauk. This has been open for almost 60 years, so we had to check it out. We ordered the meat lovers Pizza and a side order of French fries. The shop is just a few hundred yards from the beach, so if you're looking for a good place to eat while at the beach this is a quick walk away. Or if you want to grab some food to go and chill at the beach this would be a perfect place to go. The pizza was delicious and a good price. Highly recommend if you're in the Montauk area. Will be back.
We have been here several times. Today was not the first. Why do we return? The service is fast for our to-go needs. The food is DELICIOUS. The prices are the new high normal. We love this casual, easy, beachy, convenient, small, semi-intimate restaurant and always go here when in Montauk. Highly recommended. Fast and fun!
Been twice in the last year after not having been in a long time and in terms of bang for the buck, you can’t do much better in montauk. The food is great and still relatively reasonable. The service is very attentive. The salads, calamari and grandmas pie were all excellent. My wife’s strip steak looked like an amazing cut, perfectly done. I highly recommend the pizza village and feel it is under rated.
We just got in on a Friday to start our vacation and wanted something to eat. We ordered an “everything pie” with sesame crust, the pizza was perfectly cooked and cut, all the vegetables and meats on top were chopped finely and very fresh. Our waitress was sweet and very attentive to our needs. The pie was excellent, so was the service.
Their pizza is great. The best regular slice you will find in MONTAUK!
Great experience in Montauk - tried the plain which was a solid, also really enjoyed the buffalo chicken and the ranch bacon chicken! Very enjoyable lovely evening out
So friendly and kind. Food was delicious.
I was born and raised in Montauk and have not lived here for 20 years. I got Pizza Village because it's my staple no mater how owners it has gone through and it is STILL THE BEST PIZZA IN MONTAUK HANDS DOWN. THANK YOU.
This one of my favorite pizza and Italian food places on Long Island. Whenever I head out to Montauk, I always stop here for a meatball hero and some garlic knots ( with sauce for dipping). The service is attentive and the atmosphere is great! 😃
Pizza village is the go to place. I love the chicken parm and the penne alla vodka. Danny is the best and is always so kind and helpful to everyone. He always takes AMAZING care of me and my friends/family. BEST pizza place in Montauk.
Delicious dinner for five of us! Small pies are perfect for one person. The plain, meatball, and grandma were phenomenal. We were greeted kindly, seated right away, and the experience was great!
Pizza Village is the place to go in Montauk for your pizza fix. It's a dated establishment that has been around for a long time. A classic old school pizzeria with tables inside and outside. Very good pizza slices 🍕, pies and an assortment of Italian favorites. It's well worth the visit. Enjoy. 🍕 👍👍
CASH ONLY * Our duo tried three different slices from the glass case and we ooohed and ahhhhed over every bite. My favorite by far was the spinach and mozz white slice...so good that I went back for another. My lunch partner had a chicken/bacon/ranch slice and a Buffalo chicken slice, and said both were very good, but the Buffalo was her favorite. We ordered at the counter, had options for bottled drinks, sat where we wanted, and our food was brought to us. There was oregano, red pepper flakes, garlic powder and salt/pepper on each table. Tips were accepted at the counter. By far the best priced meal of our trip at $3 to $4 a slice!
Pizza place at a resort town - pretty good pizza, pretty painful prices. But you can get a slice instead of the whole pie, they have inside and outside seating, and there are other sandwich and salad options. Plus, service is always friendly and efficient!
If you are craving pizza in Montauk, nothing should stop you from going to Pizza Village. It has been a Montauk staple for longer than I've been alive, while all the other pizza places have turned over. Having lived various places now, and tasted a lot of pizza, I can say their's is solid but not exceptional for Long Island (which has some of the best pizza in the country) and excellent when compared to the other parts of the state/country I've eaten pizza in. Their crust has a nice chew, their cheese is decent quality, but I think their sauce on the regular pie lacks. I found the sauce on their Sicilian to be much better (and found their Sicilian to be as good as almost any I've had). My favorite is always a plain cheese, so I can't talk too much about the types of pies, but I think their meat pies use decent quality meat. My family really likes their white pie with broccoli. I think they used to spread the ricotta like sauce, which I thought was good. Now the ricotta is placed in clumps, which I don't personally love. FYI, you can only sit in the dinning room if you order a whole pie (or non-pizza food, I assume). There are benches outside, if you want a slice. Usually I am either picking it up to take to my parent's or walking around town anyway, so this hasn't bothered me.
Good Classic NY Pizza.... Excellent service from our table server. My lasagna was just OK (frozen store tasting w/melted mozzarella). Hey, now I know what not to order next time. Will there be a next time? Sure......
Overall I would say the food tasted what I was expecting. The cost is more than reasonable. I'm taking off one star because of the wait time. My gf and I came here on a weekday around 5. We were seated promptly, but it took a while for someone to take our order. It also took a while for us to get our food.
Tried their Sicilian, Wings, Chicken Tenders and & Garlic Knots. Prices were reasonable and the food was good. Messed up my takeout order which was a bit of an inconvenience since I didn't realize it until I got back to my hotel. Had to wait almost 40 minutes after calling them to inform them of the mistake to get what I ordered originally.
It's expensive and takes alot of time to get your food but the food is good
I've had consistently good pizza here. I've tried the white slice, tomato and Basil, spinach white slice, grandma, and plain cheese. I recently had a nice Antipasto Salad here. The service has been great every time I've stopped in. However, the restrooms are hideous. Avoid the restrooms.
We ordered take-out while staying the weekend for a little getaway from up island. Pizza Village was literally the only place that was answering phones for orders, so we decided to order. We had Shrimp Parm Pizza, Caesar salad and calamari. Everything was delicious and not expensive at all.
💥One hot slice ready to go in minutes with authentic pizza joint "decor". Just what I was looking for right at that moment 😎 Nice thin, crispy crust and just the right amount of oil but I personally prefer just a bit less cheese. No matter, it's all good, I'll be back soon enough.
First time ordering. In the area on a business trip. Delivery was top notch, timely and the driver had a very friendly demeanor. Being from the birth place of the chicken wing, I felt the wings were overpriced (and no offense guys, but who breads traditional wings?). Anyone from the 716 would agree with me. Almost $7 for a half dozen? They sell 50 buckets for 28 back home, but I get it, movie stars and corporate big wigs live here so go get that millionaire money. Still tasty though and that matters huge. I'm glad you're not barbarians and didn't serve them with ranch dressing (not trying to poke jabs at my neighbors in the 585, well maybe I am). Now the pizza was phenomenal. Topped as perfect as you can get, and the sauce was spot on. The downside to back home is everyone throwing added sugar in their sauces...diabetes city....please don't do that. As a gluten free option, I recommend trying a cauliflower flathead crust. Great for gluten free folks and fantastic for diabetics craving something normal. I'll definitely consider returning the next time I'm down here. God bless.
Haven't been in here for a few years definitely not what it used to be. The Manhattan clam chowder was good. Didn't think too much of the pizza.
We had a mix up with a pizza we ordered online, and what was picked up in store. We ended up paying for both pizzas, even though we returned the one that was incorrect. When we went back to Pizza Village to explain what had happened, they were incredibly accomodating, and gave us a refund. The pizza was delicious, and the incorrect order looked so amazingly tasty, we almost considered keeping it.
The pizza spot is better than any other. The pizza is more delicious, and great than pizza spots in Brooklyn NY. I would recommend this place to eat out, takeout and/or delivery. I give 100,000 stars for the owner and its staff for a job well done for good food and clean business.
Place is a little slice of heaven. It has everything you will find at any pizzeria and more. The pies are excellent and it has a nice size dining area for those who have time to dine in. Friendly staff
Blonde cashier very rude. Cheese pizza excellent. fried calamari soggy and very small portion. Meatballs were awesome and fresh. It had its ups and downs.
Things can always change, sometimes for the better, or sometimes for the worse. In this case it is definitely for the better. Over a year ago, after dining here I posted a very low rating. The pizza crust was soggy, the sauce bland and the place resembled a storage facility, with a noisy fan and junk piled up in the back of the dining area! Happy to say that this has all changed for the better. The place looks beautiful, clean, warm and welcoming. The pizza was tasty, with a smooth, not tart sauce, the crust was crisp and tasty. I also have to note that the interior dining area is completely renovated with a new bar area as well. Sunday they have a 30 dollar special including dinner appetizer wine. They have transformed into a nice casual restaurant with reasonable prices. Way to go! Bathrooms that use to look like a bus terminal are also renovated. The pizza crust was
Pizza Village is one of the places to go in Montauk. My husband has been coming here for the past 40 years while he goes fishing in Montauk. Whenever we come out, we stop by here for a quick lunch. For the winter months, it’s slow and currently under renovation, so we took out few slices. Spinach w mozzarella slice is awesome. Plain slice is ok. Over the years we tried many other dishes and they are consistently good. Pizza used to be bigger and seem to be smaller these days- that’s the only thing but overall they have best pizza in Montauk.
Stopped in for a few slices while in the area for a wedding. Indoor dining was not open but there were a few tables outside. I got 2 slices, one w tomatoes and basil, and the other was a white pizza with ricotta. Both very tasty!! And it was fun to people watch while eating my pizza.🙂
Damp, mediocre pizza. Alfredo was flavorless white goo. Bolognese was also mostly flavorless, basic meat sauce. Grilled chicken in the Alfredo was actually pretty good. A little salt and slightly richer ingredients would go a long way here. Makes sense this place ranks behind the other two in town, but they are closed in winter. Still, passable if'n ya need a basic pizzeria style dish in a pinch.
The pizza is very good and the off season is a great time to go here. But i do have a serious bone to pick with this place on how it handles its service in the summertime. I have been coming to Village Pizza for over 15 years now, summer and winter and this place hasn't changed. In summertime things get crazy with thousands in MTK looking for food and at night and there is only 2 places open late, Village Pizza and a local convenience store. 1-They will serve you from the window and that's ok for safety reasons things do get crazy and fights are not uncommon with the bar crowd getting impatient on line. 2- they will serve there "friends" and whom they want from the side door out of order on the line. When you have been waiting an hour for your pizza it gets irritating. 3-They take FOREVER to serve people, I don't understand management. they should be cranking out pizzas left and right to have them ready for people as they order. NOT make it to order every time. 4- They are very rude at the window service is non existent , they just want your money and know you have no other choices at that time of night.
The waitstaff was very friendly and helpful. There was a lot of people inside waiting for take-out. The dining area is small with both booth and table and chair seating. My guests, my son and my two grandchildren, got their orders of lasagna, a meatball parmesan hero and chicken strips in a timely manner. They all enjoyed their meals while I sat with nothing to eat. I had ordered a small (4-slice) plain pizza pie. As my guests we're finishing their meal I was able to flag down the waitress to inquire how much longer on the pizza. She said she would find out for me. She came back about three minutes later and told me it would be another five minutes. I was already waiting for thirty-five minutes so I had to ask her for them to make mine "to go". I was "starving" by the time we got back to the car, so I grabbed a slice right away. The taste was just okay, nothing fantastic. They could use a bit more flavor in their sauce. If it is a 'homemade' sauce, they need to simmer it longer and maybe add some basil or a touch of oregano. It was quite uncomfortable to sit and watch three other people eating and not even have the waitress let me know that my wait was going to be so long and even offer me a small slice of bread to tide me over until I had to inquire myself. All in all, a nice little pizzaria, basically clean with friendly staff, and okay food, but they all lack on the dining-in service when they have so many people standing in the front all waiting for take-out. Their cook staff needs to communicate more with their waitstaff so their patrons can be properly served. If this continues, I doubt their business will grow. We only went there because by 2pm both of the near by pancake houses (Where we originally wanted to go) had just closed for the day and this pizzaria was the closest place to get lunch.
Bro I got a chicken Caesar hero..literally a salad between two slices of bread and it took a half hour. Barely a line too. 10 mins later two kids showed up and got their order first. Don't order anything except the pizza. Foods above average. **To his reply, no it was not likely those kids called ahead because I saw them walk up and heard their order lol. Fair enough on the deliveries and takeout orders, but maybe put more than two guys on that day? I don't know brothaman ..I want to love y'all. I don't think I'm being unfair. I go out every year and enjoy the pizza. That was just a very unfortunate day. But I'd be willing to come back.
This place was a huge disappointment as with most eateries we experienced here in Montauk. The cheese is of the cheapest quality which made the pizza very oily and for a fish town using frozen shrimp in the namesake dish is ridiculous. The only thing that was good was the semolina bread served with meal. Will not be going back.
Bright, Waitress was amazing!! Food [lasagna, below poor]
Ordered a small "create your own" pizza. The server didn't write down my list of available toppings and ended up putting pineapples on my pizza. It wasn't an issue since all I had to do was pick them off, but I'd advise writing down orders. The pizza was soggy minutes after being served to the table. Overall, the staff was friendly, but the pizza wasn't the best. I'd be curious to return for their spaghetti and meatballs though.
I’m sorry but I asked what pie can come out fast, they said a plain in 15 min. I waited patiently for 25 min while in a rush. Almost walked out, before my name was called, and my pizza was already finished and sitting on the oven for 5 min while I was waiting for it……
Calamari was nice and fresh !! Well Cooked and the home marinara sauce was great too !! Pizza was not as expected however toppings were not shy !!! Staff were great and suggested right things ! We stopped for quick bites after visiting lighthouse. This place accepts only cash if dine in , online pickup orders can be paid by card
The lack of stars is because of their gluten free pizza. If you’re gluten free, don’t get the pizza. They chose the pre-made crust that isn’t good. It’s almost like a stale, soggy, 1/2 cooked cracker. I could barely eat half the pie without just taking the cheese off to eat only that. I gave it 2 stars because my boyfriend who is not gluten free, did like his pizza.
Horrible service. If they could have said less than one word during the order process, they would have. Not welcoming at all and close to empty restaurant in the dead of summer. Coincidence? Some people are there looking like they may enjoy the food. Maybe relatives or spouses. Not returning.
We just got some slices to go but the pizza itself just doesn’t taste good. I usually don’t write negative reviews but just wanted to save someone else the trouble. The sauce is sweet, cheese is low quality. Overall just not a good slice, I’m sorry
I'd never go here again because the cashier was unfriendly, the atmosphere is depressing and noisy from a huge fan, and most of all, the food was so bad. Spinach sauteed with way too much garlic, cooked until it died a thousand deaths. An alleged chicken parm sandwich that was so bad I was literally baffled. Mostly the so-called tiny piece of cheese and the sauce - tasted like chemicals. And of course way overpriced because it's Montauk.
We ordered a pie, pasta primavera with marinara sauce, salad and garlic knots. Sauce was thin in the pasta and the pie was really heavy with oil but the crust was decent. As a lifelong Long Islander, I can’t remember ever being disappointed by Italian takeout, but this was not very good.
Overcharged for a large pizza. We order a small pizza. The pizza was great in itself great. We sat outside. The place was empty when we were there so no comments on the rest of the place.
i don’t really like to give bad reviews but this experience was truly…. not it, we walked in and the cashiers seemed to have attitudes we wanted to sit down and eat in the main dining room but were told no even though there were plenty of empty tables and a family sitting there and instead we were told to sit by the bar… which like okay i guess… they didn’t bother to make us feel welcomed instead made us feel like we were being rushed out and like a burden we got our pizza which was the definition of mediocre the margarita hardly has any cheese and the sauce was incredibly sweet and the regular cheese tasted so awful i would not even constitute it as pizza it was almost tasted like fried food that was greasy fried oil just made me want to gag. asked for water and we got one cup that i was told to get myself really shocking, definitely will not be back
Garbage!! I can't say how many mistakes they made with a simple order. Salads were horrible and the grilled chicken was Iike over cooked cardboard. Thank God I will never go there again. The hamptons are lacking of a decent pizzaria.
There is no love in the way they make pizza. The cheapest ingredients and the worst service. Just a money making machine for owners who don’t care. Disgraceful to the community. Never going there again. It is a robbery
The food is delicious, but the two blonde women at the cash register seem to be forced to work for them. They forgot to smile and say thank you.
One of the worst pizza experiences ever! They overcharged us and did not have anything other than cheese slices. I even pointed to the price on the window and he took the paper off. Very disappointing. The slices weren’t bad but the overcharging made me loose my appetite.
The last time I ordered takeout here...and I stress the LAST time...I ordered the mussels marinara. I asked if they were fresh. Frozen. Where are we??? Aren't we like nanoseconds from an ocean? Anyway...I waited long enough for someone to actually go and get fresh mussels.... An hour and a half later, I was finally given my order. I got home and literally 1/2 of the mussels were closed...meaning DO NOT EAT IF YOU WANT TO LIVE. So, needless to say...the last time I ate there is the last time I will eat there. It's a mediocre place that could be good or even great, but unfortunately is satisfied with being mediocre and at times really, really bad.
Pizza was pretty good and people at the counter were nice. We ordered two slices at the take out counter and were not given a bag. Just two pizzas on plates. HOWEVER, my boyfriend and I tried sitting at one of the tables yesterday in the dining area. Some douche with long brown hair in a red shirt chased us out because "it's dining service only". There were only 3 tables taken by people getting served by their waitresses. NO ONE WAS SITTING AT THOSE TABLES. I'm a waitress and I know what it's like when customers hogging a table are burdens. But if no one is coming in, what is the problem? That guy is so lucky I didn't put up a fight. Will never come back 🤗
I want to talk my horrible experience with this place. When I called to place an order for delivery of pizza for my kid, they initially stated it would take an hour. I called after an hour and 15 mins and they informed me it will take another 20 minutes as they are just putting the pizza in the oven. When I called back again after 40 minutes, they inform me that the driver was just leaving and he would be here in about 15 minutes. By this time, I am totally ticked off. It’s about 8.50pm and my kid is waiting for his pizza. Instead of being apologetic this lady gives me an attitude. They should basically give this pizza to me for free. I am steaming and my kid is hungry. I just gave my kid some chocolate to abate his hunger for a while. It’s been 5 minutes since I called..... will update...
We went in for pizza on ThursdaySeptember 19th we ordered 2 regular slices and a BBQ slice. We went to sit with our slices in the place that was empty. There was a lady that worked there that told us to sit somewhere else. She wanted us to sit in a very tiny table. We sat at different table form where she wanted us to sit because there was no one sitting in the restaurant. She then came to our table and said to move to the smaller table. There may be people coming in soon. On top of all that the pizza was not good.
This place doesn't even deserve any stars. Me and my whole family came from NYC to come and relax at Montauk beach. We stopped by this place since we were craving for pizza. There was a hispanic looking lady with light brown hair who gave us attitude and said we can't sit at the table if we are ordering pizza. Then she delayed our 1 order of regular cheese pizza pie for 20 mins. But other customers who came after us were getting their orders first. I don't know why this lady was behaving like this. But maybe she was racist towards us brown people. If you don't want to be discriminated against, don't ever eat at this place.
The only reason why this place is surviving is because it's the only pizza in town. We took 2 salads, a hero, and a slice to go and they 100 percent took advantage of us. Salads were half full and the pizza was okay but cold. Also, they had dirty dishes sitting outside which wasnt very pleasant. Service was meh but they seemed kind of bothered to be serving us. would not recommend.
If there was a zero option I would give it zero. This business needs to be inspected by the authorities immediately. It only works with cash to avoid taxes. It does not accept payment by card.
Where do I start? The waitress had a nasty little attitude. Im not sure if it was because of our race? But I digress, we wanted a xl pizza to stay and they said that was only an to go option? None the less they ended up letting us have it. Then the waitress opted to keep the change on my order despite her lousy service. I kindly asked her for my change. Then my friend ordered buffalo wings to go and ofc they gave her plain out of spite.
Just ordered last night. Terrible. Ordered a chicken Caesar salad. Thought the chicken was breaded. Nope it was so dry that it was inedible. The Italian wedding soup was just as bad. The pasta was mush and had no flavor. What a difference from last year to now. Lost business from us.
I would only order if you can't find anything else. The toppings were mostly frozen and tasted bitter. Definitely not the best pizza in town. Try something else if possible.
I am not someone that enjoys leaving bad reviews, but for this place I have to. 35 bucks for a large plain pizza? They rob people because it is a tourist trap. This is the worst pizza I have ever eaten in my life. I opened the box, pizza was already falling apart. Cheese falling off and sauce was terrible. My problem is not the price of what is charged for the pizza. It’s the principle. There is absolutely zero effort/passion in the way that the pizza is made. If you want to charge disgusting price, at the very least put out a good product that people will love. I am so disgusted that I will not be eating any pizza anywhere for a very long time. I have had frozen pizza that blows this out of the water.
The pizza was okay, and the service was very disappointing. When we arrived, no one greeted us. A blonde girl assisted us, and when I asked to use the restroom before ordering, she claimed there wasn’t one, even though I could clearly see restroom signs. She then said we could only use the restroom if we bought something. When my mom ordered a pizza, she wasn’t given any instructions on wait times or where to sit, and she didn’t receive a receipt. She had to ask for all this information herself, which made us feel very unwelcome. The pizza was okay, and the customer service definitely needs improvement.
The guy charged me $40 for a pie of cold slice pizza. A large pizza pie is $18 on their website. Dishonesty is not good. Will be reporting to the BBB
Terrible experience, for various reasons. Greedy business who makes an insane profit on each offering. We ordered a large cheese, baked ziti dish, and calzone. We requested extra sauce on the calzone. Delivered to us with NO sauce for the calzone. Delivery driver barely spoke English and got lost. Stood in the middle of the street on the phone trying to explain our location for over 15 minutes. Anyway, called the restaurant to tell them we have no sauce for our calzone and they said they’ll have the delivery driver come back out as we’re only a few minutes down the road. Extra sauce never arrived. Called back the next morning to request a refund on the calzone and the manager was downright rude. Talked over me and couldn’t even listen to my whole story. Said she can’t refund me anything because we never got the extra sauce. Had to reiterate to her several times we got NO sauce. Who eats a calzone without sauce? She finally stopped talking to listen to me and explained to me their calzones do come with sauce. I said right, and I got NONE. She said the only thing she could do is refund me 75 cents LOL. The calzone was almost $20 and didn’t get eaten. ABSURD AND GREEDY. Poor customer service skills.
Waitress was very slow to come over to ask our drink order, we decided not to get any due to this. Second I don’t know how any one is giving this place any thing over two star. Let me tell you guys a few years ago pizza village was sold, the old one only took cash which is a little sketchy but the pizza was great and they would stay open till 2-3am selling cheep slices what the town needed not another money grab. Meh there are better places in town by miles
Very disappointing experience. The cashier was extremely rude. We struggled to communicate because our English isn’t perfect, but she showed no patience at all. When we didn’t understand something, she slammed the counter and got angry with us. That was completely unnecessary and made us feel very uncomfortable. After finally placing our order, we were told it would take 40 minutes — but only after we paid. If it takes that long, they should inform customers beforehand. We ended up canceling our order because the experience was so unpleasant. Such behavior is unacceptable, especially in a customer-facing role. I won’t be coming back.
