Chi Dang Tofu & BBQ

The Korean side dishes are very good. I usually am not a big fan of kimchi, but theirs is fantastic. Soups are amazing bbq is also so so good. They prepare the BBQ not a self cook. Portions seemed generous as well. Though a smaller restaurant in strip mall decor is very nice.

I enoyed it. 7.9 may seem low but that's cuz I rate michelin restaurants a 9/10. Nothing is 10/10 cuz nothing is perfect... to me lol. The flavors were subtle yet distinct. It felt very homey and warm eating here. I think best Tofu house so far in my experience. I wish they had naengmyeon tho. Would come back. My girlfriend rated this place 8/10.

Food was yummy and hot. Spice levels not too high. I had a tofu soup at medium, but could have gone gone higher. Default soup base is beef, you can ask for water base if you are vegetarian.

Quaint little Korean place next to a major supermarket. Select but very good quality banchan, delicious entrees (we had the short ribs and hot stone pot bibimbap). Very attentive service. Plenty of parking. Can't wait to try other things out.

The food was delicious, had beef tofu soap with beef bulgogi. Restaurant has variety choices of Korean dishes. The service was good and the servers were polite.

I've been visiting this place for a while and bringing friends along. The food is very tasty and fresh. Typical Korean dishes, great variety of tofu soups, BBQ and dishes like bibimbap. Good customer service. Love their yumul tea after dinner. I miss their free frozen yogurt.

I've been visiting this place for a while and bringing friends along. The food is very tasty and fresh. Typical Korean dishes, great variety of tofu soups, BBQ and dishes like bibimbap. Good customer service. Love their yumul tea after dinner. I miss their free frozen yogurt.

This is a great place to enjoy Soon Tofu Soup. However they recently stopped serving hot tea. I asked why and they said it was the hot weather. But it's February now...and it's cold. But more importantly, how can you come up with ANY reason for not serving tea at a Korean restaurant! It doesn't make any sense...lol. My recommendation is to forget excuses and serve tea again. Until then, I guess I'll bring my own tea.

The food was okay. Tofu stew was a bit spicy for my liking—I requested for it to be medium spicy. The rice was on the hard side. And, the service was a bit slow. They didn’t give us hot water for the stone pot until 5-10 minutes later, which was too late—my husband had already poured cold water.

The server spilled my food all over the table, hit me with her cart twice and was not gentle with serving hot stone dishes as opposed to other families who were Korean (my family was Non-Korean). The host and server were having a heated discussion and were pointing to us to rush us out. Wow is that a RIP OFF. Ordered what I thought was plenty of food for my wife and I and 2 young kids. Ordered 1 rib plate, 1 beef and vegetable plate, and 1 soup bowl. Boy are these servings tiny. It wasn’t even close to enough food for my family. It was barely enough for just me. Unfortunately I got takeout and didn’t realize until I got home that I had almost no food. We had to throw some extra TV dinners in the oven to supplement. And that takeout cost us $60. Never again!!!!. I strongly recommend picking another place. Below are pictures of what I got for $60.

It wasn’t even close to enough food for my family. It was barely enough for just me. Unfortunately I got takeout and didn’t realize until I got home that I had almost no food. We had to throw some extra TV dinners in the oven to supplement. And that takeout cost us $60. Never again!!!!. I strongly recommend picking another place. Below are pictures of what I got for $60.
