You’d never think a place like this could exist in Moorpark! From the deliciously tasty food to the super fun atmosphere to the incredibly knowledgeable and friendly chef and servers, this place is SUCH a vibe. I will absolutely be returning again so I can bring everyone I know. I feel so lucky and grateful to have a gem like this in our little city! (Please pardon the lighting in my photos!)

As a latte addict, I had to try this new spot out and it was worth it. The iced cafe de olla latte was delicious but the breakfast burrito was amazing. It had perfectly cooked potatoes, gooey cheese, fluffy eggs and a flavorful green sauce on the side….. we added avocado, honestly probably the best breakfast burrito I have had and it did not feel greasy or heavy. The team working was upbeat and friendly specially the young guy at register which is rare these days.

Great service and food. Both the starters and entrees were great. The dessert was also great. Well worth going back again.

Ambiance makes it feel homey, food is delis and creative, your palate will not be disappointed. My friend and I had the pleasure of meeting chef and owner, Seb at our breakfast and he took the time to talk with us out of his busy schedule. I appreciate the passion he has for his cooking and the creativity he shows in his food. Going back tomorrow for breakfast and Friday night with the family for dinner. Making it my mission to try everything on the menu🤗🤗🤗 A breath of fresh air for our town. As said in Italy, BUENO MANGIA (Good Eats) and this place has it👏👏👏

The food is only surpassed by the incredibly warm and accommodating service here. It’s like a little hidden secret in Moorpark but I want to shout about it from the rooftops! What a fun experience! We celebrated my husband’s birthday here and were lucky enough to get reservations! (This place is hopping!) They gifted him with his choice of dessert and a candle, which was such a nice touch. The menu is seasonal, so we tried a few things and none of it disappointed! Highly recommend this place for its food, vibe and fun energy!!!!

Hearth is an incredible addition to The Alley and Moorpark as a whole. The food I have had here (and I’ve had most of the menu) has all been fantastic. In their month+ open they have come up with some awesome and unique flavor combinations. You can tell thought and care was put into each dish, using fresh quality ingredients. They want to share the things they love with others. The rave doesn’t stop there, their team is incredible. The service has been top notch every time I’ve been in. The employees are friendly and seem that they genuinely enjoy working there. It’s awesome interacting with Sebastian and his team while sitting at the chefs counter. Don’t hesitate to try a pizza next time you’re having a beer from Enegren or glass of wine from Lucas Cellars. I promise you will make a reservation to eat in the restaurant after.

A One-of-a-Kind Restaurant with a Big Future This new restaurant is truly something special and has all the makings of a future classic. The owners are hands-on and deeply involved, supported by an amazing, attentive staff. The vibe is vibrant, the atmosphere warm and beautifully designed, and the food—absolutely delicious. The menu centers around Italian-style pizza made with sourdough and seasonal ingredients, blended with smart, creative touches from Mexican and Asian cuisines. It’s a bold and unexpected combination that works exceptionally well. What truly sets this place apart is the heart behind it. You can feel the passion and care in every detail. It’s rare in the U.S. to find a restaurant where the owners and team are so genuinely engaged—listening to guests, refining the experience, and showing real pride in their work. It makes all the difference. This is a must-visit. That said, it’s still in its early days—just a couple of months since opening—so the kitchen is still finding its rhythm. Some dishes may take a little extra time, but they never cut corners on quality. And that’s worth waiting for. While you wait, there’s a thoughtful cocktail menu to enjoy. In short: I loved this place and will absolutely be back. Big congratulations to the owners, the chef, and the entire team.

I would give 10 stars if I could. This place has curated a seasonal direct from the farm menu from coffee to breakfast to pizzas. The quality here is unbeatable not just in Moorpark,but anywhere! The owners and founders are there working behind the counter. It has an an open kitchen where you can see and smell all the fresh ingredients. The lighting and music is on point to create a refined yet casual and elegant atmosphere inside. While who is looking for a more relaxed, full casual feeling, sitting outside is the perfect option. Geab beer or wine from across the way. A perfect spot for a romantic date night or a casual Wednesday family outing, a true gem and recommended to all!

Best new restaurant in town! Our taste buds exploded with flavors from all directions! This place is a top notch Chef-5 star quality dining experience. The salad was amazing, the pork plate was truly delicious. And the dessert was super yummy! highly recommend this place. (we made reservations) I had the breakfast burrito the other morning, and was one of best burritos!

Amazing casual dining experience. Everything on the menu sounded so good. Pizza was absolutely phenomenal!! 🤌🏻 Tiger Prawns were a new item, and the whole table agreed we should have odered 2. Service was above and beyond from the moment we arrived. Do yourself a HUGE favor and get some of this food and drink. See you there.

Love Hearth! The food is amazing and you’ll frequently see new menu items come as they bring in new seasonal ingredients. I’ve ordered the aguachile, elote, carrots, salad, short rib pizza and warm chocolate chip cookie and all were very good. On top of the amazing food the music, atmosphere and customer is top notch.

My fiancé and I had such a great experience! The food was absolutely delicious and it was such a cozy environment. We sat at the chef counter and it was fun to watch the food being prepared right in front of us. Seb and Kellie are amazing and all their staff are super friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back to try more items on their menu.

We had a delicious dinner at Hearth. Make a reservation because it’s small and they are going to do a good business! Rather than pizza, we decided to do a tapas meal and order all small plates. The Patatas Bravas were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The sourdough bread that came with Fig and Burrata was amazing! It was missing the honey and lacking a little salt, but the bread was so good, we still enjoyed it. The Oaxacan Quesadillas were filled with tender, juicy short rib and full squash blossoms for a unique texture, and the homemade tortillas were perfection. The Oven-Roasted Artichoke might be the best bite of food I’ve had all year. The sake beurre blanc sauce was incredible and the crunchy garlic added texture to the dish without overpowering it. We are excited to have Hearth in Moorpark and, because the menu is seasonal, we can try new things every time. I was honestly blown away. This is Michelin quality food. The Chicken Milanese dish was 100% the best chicken dish I’ve ever eaten. So crispy, and bright and unique. PLEASE KEEP IT ON THE MENU!! Will definitely be back many times again.

I went with my sister tonight and we had the absolute best time. From the moment you walk in until the moment you leave, the service is top tier, warm, attentive, and never rushed. Huge shout out to our server Keoni who legit made me feel like family there. We ordered the leche de tigre kampachi, elote, short rib, and striped bass, each dish was delicious. Everything was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. And then came the pop tart dessert… wow. A cinnamon party in your mouth and the perfect sweet ending to our delicious meal. Hearth is the kind of place that makes you want to come back immediately to relive the whole experience.

THE BEST restaurant I've been to in a long time. The food was fresh and light but filling and the owners/staff were so welcoming and friendly. Also appreciated that they are seed oil free! The pizza's were spot on and full of flavor. Will definitely be coming back!

My husband and I were excited to try this place after seeing the reviews online. We had a reservation for 7:30PM and were seated after a few minutes wait while the table before us wrapped up their meal. Our waiter was very friendly and the atmosphere was great! We ordered the caesar salad, papas bravas, and the pepperoni pizza (plus mushrooms). The presentation of the caesar salad was excellent-- however, the dressing had little flavor, and unfortunately, was very salty. At one point, we could taste the salt crystals (sand-like texture) and could not continue eating it. We think this may have been due to the crumb topping, as the lettuce on its own with the dressing was not too salty, just lacking in flavor. Maybe this was an off night as others have raved about the salad. Also unfortunately, the papas bravas never arrived. Maybe we'll try them next time. Finally, the pizza, which is cooked in their in-house wood-fired oven, was AMAZING. The 72 hour fermented sourdough crust was perfectly cooked and very delicious. The toppings were well balanced and paired well with the crushed tomato sauce. Based on others' reviews, it seems like our issues were an isolated incident and would not deter us from visiting again in the future. We will definitely be going back for the pizza (and maybe our papas bravas!).

And the protein portions are very small, there were only three small pieces of pork belly on my sandwich which was really disappointing, when I think of a pork belly banh mi I wanna see the pork coming out of the sandwich and looking delicious and golden brown and juicy and the sandwich was just mainly vegetables. We drove here from really far I don’t think I would come all the way over again, which sucks because I was really excited to try this restaurant, but I hope things run smoothly for them seems like they were understaffed the other day.
