Stopped by Allegro Pizza on the way home to grab something to take home for dinner. After speaking with Raul the owner about the menu, I decided on spaghetti with Marinara sauce and garlic knots. Food was piping hot when I got it home. The garlic knots are the best I’ve had and the spaghetti marinara was fantastic. Everything is made fresh. Highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner. Great food, great service and great owner. Will definitely be back!
A great escape to Italy, the pizza was amazing, not salty like at other places, the closest pizza to homemade. Delish gourmet pizza! Cannoli was not the best. Next time I would try their veal parmigiana. I love this place!
Super awesome local pizza place. They have amazing pizza, subs, and Italian food. Really dope place! I highly recommend coming for a visit

Phenomenal! The garlic knots are the best I’ve had anywhere and the pizza is better than what we’ve had in Italy. We enjoyed the small, family restaurant vibe. Prosciutto sub was also amazing.
The pizzas is really really good, I love their crust, the spot is adorable, and the employees were really nice!
I ordered two thin margarita pizzas and chicken wings for my son’s sleepover and it was a big smash hit. “He’s a genius “ they said. The pizza is super thin, with exotic pizzas like Bel Air or Getty pizza. Great pasta, salad and beer and wine too. Casual and fun atmosphere. Highly recommend. Family owned. Support a small business.
A very quaint and atmospheric family owned small Italian restaurant. There was a very large selection of food to choose from, from pizza to sub sandwiches to pasta. The food took no more than 10-15 minutes to come out, and the wait staff were very friendly and kind. For the sizes of the portions that we recieved, the prices seemed very reasonable. The food was very delicious, and it seemed to be prepared on the spot. The only drawback is that they did not take credit card, but they took our check, even though we are not locals to the area. Overall, a very good lunch experience, and definitely a solid place to eat on a road trip to LA.
The pizza and lasagna were very tasty, unfortunately the clam linguine was a disappointment - the first taste was butter (sauce) and this continued as the dominant taste - such a shame. Great drinks. Attentive service. Definitely recommend - just not the shellfish!
Great lunch spot. Eggplant parmigiana sandwich was delicious. Nice bread with beautifully breaded eggplant and just the right amount of cheese and sauce. Ask for a small bowl of sauce for dipping if you are feeling extra saucy. Italian dressing is made in house. Light and refreshing with a bit of a bite. Goes great on the iceberg house salad.
I have been ordering sandwiches at Allegro's for years. They are great.Going there today.

Wow. All I can say is they are the best. We have been going there since 1999. On the 24th of June we order from them for our 20th anniversary and with this pandemic. We did not go to. Restaurant. I ordered and my husband John picked up our dinner our order When he got their they said the our dinner was free. Free. A $62 Dollar order we even ordered cannolis and a pizza for our son. I want to say. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. It was the best thing that happened in a while. I have and will continue to go and recommed you guys to our friends. You are the bomb Thank you John Jeanette and Michael Nelson

Got a large with sausage. It was good, hot, and loved the crust. They could give a little more on the topping. Very nice owner and clean, small, shop. Outdoor seating as well. Will try sandwiches next.
Standard pizza and Italian fare at Allegro. I used to live nearby and would have Allegro deliver pizza from time to time. The big secret is to request the pizza to be well done. Otherwise the center of the pizza can be soggy. Was in the area this week and stopped by for lunch. The pizza, the sausage sandwich and the ravioli were all fine. This place accepts cash or check only. Not very convenient in 2019.
UPDATE: came back and tried the cold subs... It was good. Like the Italian dressing they used. I'd say the subs are better than the pizza Hard to understand all the 5 stars with my experience. Mediocre-to-average 'football' pizza. Dough had a dense bready crumb, sweeter sauce, normal amount of mozzarella. Price was ok for a large (over $20 but under $30). Service was friendly.

Overall, glad we gave this local spot a chance but wouldn’t recommend anyone else (just drop off a donation if you want to support, the food will disappoint). Ordering via online was best experience about this place. I thought with the great reviews it would be worth supporting (all hype or paid reviews). The pizza is basic (crust is lacking any substance, hard and reminiscent of cheap grocery store pizza). The garlic knots were okay yet it’s hard to mess up bread and garlic spread after baking. The prices are not worth the pizza you get, again wouldn’t recommend. The staff are also lacking any tact or spunk (initiative) when helping or not helping customers.

I have been coming to this place for over 20 years. I think this past weekend is my last time. The quality has continued to go downhill while the prices have skyrocketed. This past Friday I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and gnocchi with meat sauce. It was $35. We also decided to try the cannoli and the cheesecake which was a mistake. The cannoli was passable but the cheesecake came directly out of the freezer and the guy behind the counter grabbed it with his bare hand and threw into a to go container. In front of us. It literally had freezer burn on the side and could not be eaten until the next day because it was frozen solid. We are desperately trying to patronize family owned small businesses here in town but experiences like this are making it impossible. Edit 3/26/2023. Gave it one more shot since we were driving by on the way home. Large pizza and gnocchi with meat sauce. A year later it was $45 - without cheesecake and canoli. It was exactly the same as my last review. Mediocre and they forgot our garlic knots. For this kind of money, I'll be spending extra and drive a little farther for better food. Good luck...
I went for pizza , the guys seemed nice enough and it appeared to be pretty authentic, they didn’t have a lunch size pizza but said they had pizza by the slice. I ordered 2 pieces of pepperoni, they proceeded to put pepperoni on a pizza that had been sitting out, cut 2 pieces then heat it up. To say it was gross is an understatement , and they definitely microwaved it. I may try it again but certainly I will Never get the pizza there again.
Took 10 minutes to reheat cold pizza and then charged me $5 a slice for the privilege. And it's not even good. How do places like this even stay in business? Shockingly bad. Terrible crust. Terrible sauce. I tried to eat it but just ended up throwing it out. I've had better super market pizza.
this is not good italian food. the pizza is really bad and the prices are ridiculous for what you get. used to get a salad and garlic knots now its just garlic knots for double the prices from three years ago. if you think this place is 5 stars you are why we have a starbucks or fast food restaurant on every corner in this city.
Just picked up an order for takeout and that’s the last time I’ll ever order from this place. Just a little suggestion to anyone with half a brain that makes an order of spaghetti to go. You cook the pasta at least 2-3 minutes before it’s done because if you don’t, that pasta will do overcooked so bad, that you might as well through it the trash. I’m so disgusted by this that I’ll be charging back my order. Next we can talk about the pizza that was nastier than probably any frozen you can get. The flavor was so bland, pizza undercooked and mushy. I wish the old owner, the real Italian owner, still owned this place because it was way better back then. I would be embarrassed to serve this food and how anyone could possibly give this restaurant anything more than one star, must have eaten it drunk or just knows absolutely nothing about what good Italian food should taste like. 0 stars and an embarrassment to Italian food and way overpriced as well.

I ordered food for my family and I. First I was told I had to order more food because my total was under $20. So I ordered another pizza. My total was $27. Delivery guy arrives and says it's $32. I asked why a $5 difference and called the store again. I was then given another total. He owner got on the phone and was rude and argumentative, kept cutting me off and wouldn't let me explain. Last time I go here unfrotubalty
