Blockley Café

What a gem of a café in Moreton-in-Marsh! Had a fantastic and really delicious brunch. The menu has the classics as well as some more creative dishes by the owners and staff who are the loveliest people. All the food was cooked really well, lots of flavour, good portion sizes for breakfast/brunch and good prices. The coffee is also some of the best I've had in the area! Highly recommend stopping off here if you're visiting the village or just passing through.

Amazing flavours and freshness of the products. Great taste, great service and very friendly staff. The Cotswolds Garden cocktail was fresh and balanced on flavour. Definitely I will visit again! 😊

Delicious seasonal set menu which includes bread, a pre starter snack, starter, main and pudding. High quality food & great value. Special thanks for recreating the menu from scratch for my partner who doesn’t eat dairy!

What a find! Beautiful community café in the middle of the village. The most delicious warm scone and coffee. I arrived late on a Sunday, do there were a few cakes to choose from as well. Earlier, I could have had all sorts of fab sandwiches and light bites. They also do dinners (prebooked) a few days of the week. I will visit again, the perfect Cotswold's stop.

A beautiful and quaint cafe, very popular with the locals. The food looks great. We had scones, the best so far!

Delicious soup of the day with cheese scone, pre-ordered due to our group size. Sat upstairs - all neat & nice. Visit on 17 Sept last month. Just next to "Father Brown's" Church.

It is anything but a café. The dining experience in the evening is outstanding. It's a set menu with plenty of options if you prefer veggie over meat. The food was delicious and as you can see from the images, presentation is second to none. Will be back for more when the menu changes again

We visited the Cafe during our recent stay in Blockley. The area is amazing and we stopped off at the cafe and shop a few times. Really lovely staff, food and drinks. Clean and relaxing. Parking can be a squeeze but you'll always find somewhere nearby.

Perfect pit stop after a long autumn walk on the hills nearby. The soup was really special, lovely decor as well. We’ll be back to try the rest of the menu.

Came for a post-hike brunch was was great. Huge portion sizes, good value for money imo especially the Blockley Breakfast (HUGE)

Found this place by chance on a weekend break to the Cotswolds recently and so glad we did...what a fantastic little place for brunch! Up there with one of the best cafes we've been too (and we try out a few!). My partner had the full English which he said was 10/10, the homemade beans show the passion that goes into the menu. I had the eggs benedict, which again, was fantastic. The eggs had the brightest yolks I've ever seen and you could taste the difference! For pudding (yes this was 10am...), I had one of the homemade chocolate donuts which was unreal, I just wish I had bought a few more for the car journey home. Another bonus is they are dog friendly! Such a lovely atmosphere with everyone and their dogs. Thanks for a fabulous visit, the staff, service and food was unfaultable! We can't wait to come back when we are next in the Cotswolds :)

Managed to grab a table and sample a few of the bakery delights. Cruffins are a must, as is the chocolate cake. Ended up buying a further 4 items to take away. Certainly worth a visit.

Absolutely fabulous brunch on the way to the Lavender fields. Menu had some great options and all were prepared fresh with care. I have shared images of our food and both were really delicious. Lovely vibe to the cafe and everything was really clean and staff were polite and efficient. Our dog was welcomed.

What a superb community cafe! Warm, cosy and inviting with a lovely atmosphere. Simple but very very tasty dishes presented beautifully and all using locally sourced ingredients. Could not fault. They have absolutely nailed it here! Highly recommended. Thank you 😊

An evening out, fine dining not what you would expect from a cafe. The food was excellent, the staff was brilliant and would definitely go again if in the area. But you will need to book as it gets very busy.

Found this little cafe on the last day of our holiday in The Cotswolds; only wish we’d found it sooner! Fantastic breakfast menu, using local produce, and some of the best eggs royale I’ve ever eaten. Would definitely recommend.

This cafe is just delightful. The food is divine and very well priced. Lots of locally sourced ingredients, and the village itself is quaint without being overrun by tourists. I have a dream to open my own cafe, and if it could be anything like this, I'd die happy.

Absolutely delicious, a must visit! Had to buy one the amazing berliners to take home with us as just couldn't leave without one! Excellent coffee too ☕

We came in for brunch when staying locally and really enjoyed. The food and drinks were excellent! Friendly staff providing good service. And a bonus they were dog friendly downstairs 🐾 definitely worth a visit!

Fantastic Food, Great Value. Craig is a really good chef, so if you are visiting the Cotswolds, try and visit the Blockley Cafe. You will not be disappointed.

On a motorcycle ride in the middle of 'i don't know where i am' googled the nearest cafe and this cafe up, really friendly staff, I had a lovely steak sub, definitely recommend the cafe and the food

Blockley Café is a hidden Cotswolds gem. The booking platform made it easy to reserve a table for the same day, and we were blown away by the service, atmosphere, and most importantly, the food. Every dish we had was thoughtfully crafted and tasty, often with a modern twist on a traditional recipe. We can’t wait to come back for more the next time we’re in town.

Delicious food in a great airy space and wonderful service too. Lovely stop for my Mum’s birthday.

This place is insanely good! I had the haddock kedgeree arancini, cheese platter, coleslaw salad, and falafel burger. All were exceptional in presentation and even more so in taste. And the price is two thirds that of what you would pay elsewhere. Also, best cappuccino and scones I have had in the UK so far. Far better than most places in the US. The only thing weird was the juice menu. You order juice thinking it’s going to be made in house, and they bring a bottle of pre package juice made elsewhere.

Excellent food, both lunch and dinner menus. Excellent coffee and cakes/pastries. And great service. It's my go-to place for a dog walk and coffee/lunch. Equally enjoy the evening dining, which is very good value for money. Great cocktails too.

My husband and I stopped here for a very late brunch. Unfortunately by the time we arrived it was past 12, so we missed out on it. Instead, we went for the amazing pumpkin and sage soup that was served with a role, hot from the oven & butter. And shared a surprisingly fresh, zesty, crunchy, super yummy apple, cabbage and cashew salad. We loved the original twist of their food and menue. And the cherry on top - the most delicious coffee ever! I was literally sad when I realized I had my last drop. Will definitely come back again, whenever we're in the area.

Not your average cafe menu! Wonderful modern tasty options for all. Friendly staff and very accommodating of a large party. Handy little shop next door. It is located in the village of Blockley. I have the steak sandwich with celeriac remolade it was delicious, the crispy onions and the great bread really make it. The chips are also a must, so crispy.

My husband and I went for lunch and it was absolutely beautiful food! They were the best chips we had ever eaten in our lives, and the best cheese scones ever! The portions are big too! It’s smaller than we thought it would be, but this was nice as it made it more cosy and intimate. The staff were really friendly and overall a great service. We would really like to try the dinner menu at some point as it sounds amazing and it lunch is anything to go by, it will be wonderful! Highly recommend!

Brilliant! We came here for a breakfast expecting to see the usual fare on the menu, some of it was the usual offerings but some were more than expected, if I had known how good this little cafe was I would of booked an evening meal, the dinner menu looked great, but I digress getting back to the breakfast, a full English! Or should I say a fantastic full English!! The quality of the food was first class, the sausages are the stuff of legends! ( I love a sausage) Juicy and meaty. The best I've had for a long time. The service was excellent the atmosphere..... Well it was a breakfast so it was quiet which to be fair is what we wanted. Highly recommended

We came to Blockley Cafe for our first meal on our mini moon, and we couldn’t have enjoyed it more. The staff were fantastic, the food was incredible and some of the best we had ever had. They were patient with our dog Sunny who was a little scatty to start with and the quality of food was top notch. We would love to come back and try it again when we come back to the beautiful Cotswolds!

I recently visited this amazing cafe in Blockley and I must say, it was an absolute delight! The staff were incredibly polite and helpful. The taste of cappuccino was great especially after having a long walk around the lovely town of Blockley. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. I highly recommend this coffee shop to anyone looking for a warm and friendly environment to enjoy a cup of coffee. Overall, it was an excellent experience and I will definitely be returning soon.

Excellent food. Local restaurant, frequented by locals. Get there early as the 30 covers fill quickly. Local produce/drinks. Outstanding tastes, only request would be a bit more for entrees and a bit more meat in the mains. Young local staff. Quiet, quant Cotswold village. A hidden gem until the influencers arrive!

Not really a cafe but high quality food in a cafe setting. Dogs OK on the ground floor. Delightfully presented food prepared and arranged with flair and pizazz. Recommended for foodies. Allergies catered for.

I’m really (and positively) surprised with this place. The food was great and the staff was friendly. In negative side, Covid measures could have been better followed and was expensive (2 starters, 3 main, 2 gin and 1 beer 90£). The Parma Ham pizza and the falafel burger were so good, specially the burger. Next day we went back for breakfast. Same positive and negative things.
