Opinions de MOD Pizza Morgan Hill
Was pleasantly suprised by our experience. This may have been the most unique concept for eating pizza. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was great! Price was reasonable. We are impressed and hope to return soon!
This is a great fast food pizza joint. I went and got the Tiaza with added pineapple and sausage. I also got a fountain soda no Pepsi choices, Just coke. They also have choices of size, something that I have not seen at similar joints. Very good stuff. The condiments are super fresh and the service is pretty fast. Tha staff is friendly as well. And within 10 minutes I was out the door with my pizza. Definitely recommend
It's like a subway, only for pizza. You pick a certain one or you can build your own. The ingredients are super fresh and I was really impressed with the ease of it all. The pizza was cooked in a big pizza oven. It didn't take very long and they called my name , then you go up and get your fresh hot pizza. Make sure you try the "MARRION BERRY LEMON ADE" its wonderful. MOD pizza for life!
We love MOD pizza, it's always clean and organized and I love the customization availability that comes with pizza or salads. The employees are happy and helpful and if I had one complaint it would be that the tables are sometimes sticky, but I think it's actually the finish on the tables and not due to uncleanliness.
The pizza there is very yummy and the staff are always nice.
Here's the thing. You just can't argue with the price. One price (under $9 I think?) for a good sized pizza with whatever you darn well want on it. Feeling lazy? Chose a preset option. Feeling creative? Go crazy, they'll put whatever you want on your pizza pie. What's more, so far everyone I've dealt with at this location has been cool.
We took two grandkids and their parents here for their first time. They enjoyed it very much. Only two things I didn't like. One my.crust was partially burned. Two I have diet restrictions and they didn’t change.thwir gloves right away so I have slight discomfort afterwards.
Amazing pizza! Amazing salads! Love the cinnamon sticks! I love the ice! And the managers are the best. Super friendly staff. Always smiling and I feel like it's "my place."
Staff is fast and friendly. I'm pizza is never burned, so you know the staff is paying attention. Good ingredient variety to choose from too. Omg, the shakes are so good, but the Oreo one is the best.
Great pizza! I'm on a non-dairy diet and hadn't had pizza in a year. Now I have MOD Pizza at least once a week because of their non-dairy options that taste great. My only complaint is the red sauce has parmesan cheese. The lemonade is also great!
It was our first time coming here and once you walk in, its a nice chill relaxed vibe. We thought the Managers Angie , Mikey and staff Kyle were all really nice and helpful in explaining how to order . Everything looked and tasted fresh. We ordered a Mod Pepperoni pizza and it tasted so delicious and cheesy and I like how you can add what ever toppings to your pizza/ salads. We also got the Italian chop and with the zesty dressing , which was really bomb. We were traveling from a couple hours away and would definitely make future trips back here. We have some pizza places where we live that have a similar concept of the walk up choose your toppings things but it's no where near the friendly good quality that we got coming here. I would definitely recommend Mod pizza.
I was disappointed when both MOD Pizza locations in San Jose closed. Though this spot is a bit farther, it's well worth the drive—the restaurant is spotless and inviting, and the staff is always patient, friendly, and welcoming.
Love this pizza joint! Far superior to similar places like Blaze. Dough is fresh and yummy. Sauces are all really good. I don’t eat meat so can’t tell you about those.
The sizes of the pizza are just right. Mini is good for one person. The ingredients are all fresh and the crust is thin
My first time eating @ a Mod Pizza but the whole of the rest of my family has been before & our Grandson whose birthday it was is the one who made the decision to eat there, I'm glad ge did!!! The staff were Awesome & Helpful (I also let them know I had No idea what I was doing), the food was very tasty 😋 & being with All of the family for a meal is the Best!!! We did have some partaaay 🎉🥳🥳🎉 restraint & moved the rest of our revelry home for presents 🎁 cake 🎂 & more balloons 🎈 after some good pizza & salads 🥗!!! ; >
Fast, amazing taste, and very friendly employees! Even if you don't know what to get on a custom pizza, they got you covered! You can select one of their many good presets that you could leave as is or add on too! Local favorite!
This MOD Pizza is definitely the cleanest and has the nicest staff I've encountered! The General Manager, William is professional and easy to talk with and I can see his crew really respects him! I'll absolutely come back when I'm back in the area!!
Salad pizza!?!? I eat salad before pizza so I don't feel bad about eating the pizza. I never thought about eating both at the same time. It would be like eating a kale flavored cake...that sounds terrible. Some things in this world are just meant to be by themselves. Initially I was hesitant about the salad pizza, but I ended up ordering it because I had nachos and a burrito a few hours before. I wanted to be semi-healthy for my next meal. This salad pizza ended up being the best salad pizza I had ever tried. It was also the first salad pizza I had tried, but I'm sure Mod Pizza set the bar pretty high. That being said, normal pizza is still way better. Salad pizza is the way to go if you don't want the guilt that typically accompanies normal pizza and you also don't have the time to eat a salad and pizza separately.
Family loves this build your own pizza place (they have built pizza options too and all pizza is served on a thin freshly pressed crust). The prices are reasonable, the serving portion is pretty large. They offer milkshakes, beer, sodas, juice, healthy options and salads. The strips are delicious. This is my go to place for a caesar salad in Morgan Hill and my kids favourite place to eat pizza. Decor 5/5, service 5/5, cleanliness 5/5, food 5/5
Love the pizza here. We also recently ordered catering, everything was delicious and the order was ready just in time for pickup!
Great staff and great pizzas. The best MOD Pizza that I’ve been to. The others were good, I just feel that this one is the best with their staff.
Best experience I've had at a MOD Pizza. Usually the food's not all that great and they're shy with the ingredients. But this particular location was fantastic and the people working there were actually friendly. They weren't trying to be friendly they actually are friendly. I found that so refreshing. Because you have to work at being friendly and then eventually it becomes part of who you are but it takes work. And you can see that they have worked at it and they've succeeded. So kudos to them.
🚨 PSA: Ricotta is BACK and I am not okay—I’m euphoric. I practically sprinted to MOD and built a masterpiece that would make Michelangelo weep. Picture this: red AND white sauce. That’s right, I went full sauce renegade. Don’t knock it till you try it. 🍅+🧄=❤️ Next up: glorious, creamy ricotta—back from its mysterious hiatus like a rockstar on a comeback tour. And then? Oh baby, we pile on the pepperoni and bacon like it's a flavor security system. 🛡️ Roasted red peppers and garlic roll in like the supporting cast of an Oscar-winning film. Then—just when you think it’s over—mushrooms drop the mic. 🍄🎤 This, my friends, is the pizza equivalent of a power ballad. There is method to my MODness. For the love of MOD, get creative. Get wild. Get sauce-happy. And if your toppings get judged? Don’t get mad—get MOD. 💥 10/10 would chew dramatically again.
Love this place. Order as many toppings as you want because it’s ‘UNLIMITED’ so go crazy :) I love their pesto sauce on the top and root beer. Very cool vibes and the staff is super friendly and sweet. Also love their overall look like decals and furniture. Pretty awesome for hanging out with friends
We’ve visited MOD Pizza locations up and down the West Coast and have always been big fans. However, we’ve occasionally come across a few locations that didn’t quite meet the high standards we’ve come to expect. This particular location was one we liked—nothing extraordinary, but decent, especially since it’s nearby. After tonight, though, our opinion has completely changed. A team member named Sage delivered the best customer service we’ve ever experienced! Her friendly personality, attention to detail, and ability to ask the right questions went above and beyond our expectations. From now on, we’ll make it a point to come in during the evening just because of her. Sage deserves to be a manager!

9 out of 10 if I was rating. Best crust I've ever had. Could have used a few more pieces of meat, but best I've had in a long time!!

Love MOD. They have really good food and they make it fast. The create your own is my favourite because you can personalize whatever you want. The only thing is I have had instances where mushrooms have ended up on my pizza which I am slightly allergic too but this is more of a precaution for those who may really be allergic. Because of the open bar they choose from some items you didn't ask for may end up on your pizza by accident. Other than that good food and nice people. Plus I earn reward points everytime i go so that's always a plus.
I think Mod pizza is currently the best "quick" pizza restaurant in town. While the thin crust pizzas aren't going to be winning awards, they are tasty. There are a good selection of pizza and salad suggestions for those suffering from indecisiveness when choosing toppings. The staff is fast but patient with customers. Our kids love eating here. You can get in and out in 30 minutes. The lemonades and iced tea are great.
I love MOD pizza. I get to pick all my favorite toppings and I am diabetic so the thin crust is really good for me. On this visit though the garbage cans we stuffed full and were never changed. So no 5 stars
The pizza is all about what you want on it. The server was knowledgeable and polite. She suggested doing a 1/2 style since I was sharing it. The pizza was hot and delicious. Can't wait to share another pizza!
Custom, made-to-order, fire-oven-cooked pizza that's fabulous and fresh. Decent ingredient options. And they put the fresh herbs under the cheese which means they don't get burnt, like they do at pieology. They're pretty quick coming out too. The tables and floors were kind of dirty but it didn't feel unsanitary. Customer service is awesome.
Although the food here is super tasty the service process is so labor intensive that there seems to be no way to speed it up during a rush. Luckily we walked in just before the rush so we got to sit and watch the line build and people walk up and some decided to not wait... It's too bad cuz there is business $$ being lost.
I was luckily here during a quiet period (around 4pm) and there was no line. The crew was laid back but nice. The pizza was done quickly and overall the taste was good (I had the Caspian). I generally go to Blaze because they are close to my house, but MOD is a solid choice and has a similar setup. Recommended.
Good GF pizza, best crust for "fast food." It holds the weight of heavy toppings. Doesn't have that extra powder flavor. Smooth and consistent taste + texture throughout. All the options at a way lower price.
they have amazing options to choose from. I do like that they gave me the option of having the mini pizza instead of the other size because I recently had surgery and the small size fit my needs the best. All the girls were very kind and patient. I definitely would like to go back there again and the combination I was able to put together was delicious. When I wanted to add the garlic butter the girl offered on the side or in the middle but I asked her for all over and she checked in with me to see if that was enough or if I want to add more. I'm really excited that they don't close until 10 p. M. Because it was really great to have a place that was open later on 4th of July.
Not a bad spot to enjoy lunch. They have pizza recommendations but you can customize and create your own pizza. I created my own pizza. I dont like marinara sauce so I ordered the pesto sauce instead. Put a bunch of veggies, some artichoke hearts and pepperoni. It tasted great! The young lady at the oven gave it a nice thin toasted crust, had a perfect crunch! They offer beer, Seltzers, juices, soda... pretty much anything you want to drink. The service was great as well. Everyone there was very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back.
We went on a Monday. It wasn't busy. The customer service was amazing. The pizza was great, thin crust which I love. And I added my favorite toppings.
I liked the Pizza. It was a custom made plus a coke. The people were friendly and explained to me the Menu. But needs to be more clean and organized.

2025 revised review: Consistently inconsistent. New faces every time I go in. What's up with the staff turnover? This location is not what it used to be. The staff made two mistakes with our order just tonight. We didn't say anything. We've almost come to expect this. I've had some amazing pizzas here. I've had some lackluster pizzas here. Good luck! 2020 original review: Love MOD Pizza! Delicious, quick, and the staff is friendly.
Although my visit was close to closing time, there were several associates all just kind of socializing behind the counter and most items on the food bar were out of stock limiting pizza topping choices. Just less than enjoyable experience at this time of day (evening) and mid week. Utensils difficult to locate, items out of stock.

At one point, probably 4 years ago, this was my favorite Mod location. I originally gave it a 5 star review. It is no longer worthy of that rating. Today will likely be my last time visiting this MOD location. As always the food quality is good. That’s what I gave them stars for. Mod has their food supply chain locked down. Unfortunately, the service has been severely lacking the last 4 visits over several months; terrible attitudes, short, rude, and generally completely uninterested in providing service. The lone exception on this visit was the person helping, but she looked like she’d been worn down by months of working in a terrible situation. The other 3 crew members were more interested in playing with and killing some sort of insect that was running around on the floor in the food prep area. The new assembly station layout continues to be a disaster; cross contamination of ingredients is unavoidable and I’m surprised how many crew members have trouble squeezing their hands into the tiny bins. A lot of food seems to end up on the floor instead of on pizzas. The overall cleanliness of the lobby and restrooms was below that of the average high gas station bathroom; quite literally the men’s room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks, and they have some sort of a water leak because there was standing water on the floor. I visit a lot of MODs, and I love their product, but at least the stores in California seem to be heading pretty steadily down hill. I hope management takes notices and is able to turn the culture around. MOD used to be a cool place to go while also being good.
Clearly, I’m an outlier here but ooofff 2 stars is generous at this point. This location in particular has gone down hill in terms of service and portion which is SO annoying given the perk to going to mod is unlimited toppings. The only saving grace is it still taste decent. It’s so uncomfortable having to ask for *more* of every topping you choose. Sorry…can I have more than a 1/4 cup of cheese? Sorry, can I have more than 5 slices of pepperoni? Sorry can I get more than 3 mushrooms? And even then they’re only adding 1-2 more. The guy helping us actually had the audacity to correct and scold me because I asked for red sauce AFTER pesto. I’m not usually a complainer, if we’re eating out as a family of 5 Im prepared to spend more than I’d like but spending $65 for half the portion of toppings we used to get is insane.
Came into Morgan Hill location at 8pm on Sunday night. I thought it was closed because the OPEN sign was off and all the chairs are upside down on the tables. I double checked and they don't closed until 10pm. The atmosphere was not too inviting. Corporate needs to tell these kids to stay open until 10pm. The pizza was good and the service was not bad. While I was eating I noticed other customers were hesitant to come in also because they thought it was closed.
Staff did not know the menu, but they did make an effort to make the pizza correctly. I'd not order curbside if you want a custom pizza or salad. Restaurant dining area was a bit dirty and rubbish bins were overflowing. No lemonade or Tea were available the evening we dined here. Will try again in a month, hoping for a vast improvement, management need to be more proactive and focus on training employees and morale.
The production line is disorganized. It took us 40 min from joining the queue to getting the pizzas. The “superfast pizza” becomes the slowest of its kind.

I had an incredibly frustrating experience at MOD Pizza in Morgan Hill, California. I placed an order online an hour before the power went out and received an email confirmation before the outage, instructing me to pick up my pizza. However, when I arrived, the staff claimed they never received my order, despite my email confirmation. It’s absolutely infuriating to go through the trouble of placing an order well in advance and getting a confirmation email, only to be told upon arrival that my order doesn’t exist. The power outage is no excuse for such a lack of organization and accountability. The staff offered no solution or apology, leaving me empty-handed and extremely disappointed. This experience was a complete waste of time and has made me seriously question ever returning to this location.
On 11/06/24 around 4:30 in the afternoon we were there to have dinner and unfortunately we were totally ignore. We loved the pizza so we ended up walking out of the place cuz it was no service for us 😞we normally go and have dinner 6 people spend $50-100, the day It was only my sister and I.. I'm so 😔 to admired that we will never go back..
Completely mismanaged operations. Poor deployment, training, food safety, and cleanliness. Dumpster fire 🔥 location. Incompetent leadership. No other options for good pizza in Morgan hill. Can't wait for chick fil a.
At this place, they do whatever they want when you order online. They don’t include what you actually ordered or they mix up orders, and the pizzas end up being something disgusting that no one asked for. It’s extremely frustrating not being able to communicate with the store when they make these mistakes, and even more frustrating that no one takes responsibility for your money.
