I pretty much only have the chilaquiles (in salsa verde) here, which are fantastic. I've had a few other things which I don't like as much (tacos and asada fries come to mind). It used to be significantly cheaper until about a year or two ago, but its still great value for massive portions. Their horchata and jamaica are good too.
The tamales and vegetarian food is amazing. The asada was good too. I ordered burritos and they're cool, so are the tacos and Chile relleno. It's great for being in Mountain View but I grew up in a Mexican neighborhood and had the best Mexican neighbors who always made me homemade food. I would always send them food from my culture too. I'm used to authentic Mexican food. This is great food but all my Mexican aunties make it better. A for effort though. And if you never grew up with Mexican family members, you'll love this place. It's just that I'm used to something on another level. I feel like my Mexican friends are my family members too because that's how we grew up together. Also, most of my close friends are from Mexico and even born there so they're not Chicanas or Chicanos.
The enchiladas were flavorful/delicious. I would suggest not so much guacamole and sour cream or put it on the side for to go orders. It cooled down the enchiladas quite a bit.
Had a big menudo that is available on Saturday mornings and Sundays. Non greasy menudo. I added some cilantro and avocado. It does taste good. A give it a big 9. Wish it has hand made tortillas. I've know this place for over 20 years. The staff is great and fast.
We had a nice lunch. Shrimp ceviche tostada, chile relleno and carnitas nachos. The servings are big enough for 2. We ordered and paid and found a table. They brought complimentary chips and salsa while we waited for the our food. It was tasty and filling. This is a nice simple taqueria when you have a quick craving. Service is nice and efficient. I ordered two tacos to-go and they waited until we finished our sit down meal to prep the tacos so it was still fresh, very considerate of them.
Stopped before going to a concert and decided to get food. Found Los Altos taqueria and had amazing service and food. Definitely will be going back next chance we get.
This place is friendly and the food is made with love and it shows. The staff is great, they know the meaning of hospitality. It felt like having a home cooked Mexican food. A hidden jewel.
This was my first taste of Mexican food on the West Coast after 16 years. I loved the homey vibe of the place, and a lot of locals seemed to be eating there. The selection is exciting and robust, and I went with the wet burrito. Definitely leagues ahead of what we have back east!
I visited USA and Mountain View for the first time. Then I searched for Mexican food and found this place. I just love your super quesadillas and wished that we also could buy it in Denmark, in Europe. I miss them already! Great food for a great price! Came here at 6:30pm right at the dinner rush. The staff was very friendly. The prices here are unbeatable. I had a chile relleno platter with an enchilada rice and beans all for $9 plus tax and tip. The food was very good considering the price. Seems like they do a fair amount of take out service as well.
I love this place. Always full of people, friendly service, and good food. The chorizo wins me over every time and the horchata is not overly sweet. Plate of fresh tortillas is free for your (always short) wait.

I have been to this place one other time I ordered tacos, they were small and not enough meat. This time my entire organization ordered catered lunch, in which we only ordered burritos (different types). I had the chicken burrito. I liked it a lot. It had a good amount of meat, rice and beans! The BBQ chicken burrito had a lot of onions and the chicken was gamey. Otherwise the portion was good. The crispy taco was good with lots of grilled chicken meat. Taco chips were also fresh with delicious mildly spicy salsa

The burrito was okay, like definitely not bad at all but the birria had a massive piece of fat in the middle of the burrito that really threw me off. I stopped by on October 6th around 5pm and ordered one super burrito and one taco with pollo asado. I also asked for jalapeños on the side. The total came out to $21.00 which is a little high considering this is a taqueria and not a restaurant. When I got home, I opened the bag and realized they never gave me the jalapeños and instead of chicken, they gave me carne asada in both my burrito and taco. The worst part is, the super burrito looked 25%-33% smaller than usual. I won’t be going back here again.
None of the food I've tried here is good. This was supposed to be a chili Verde burrito. Almost zero meat and the they dumped red sauce on top. The chimichonga was soft and again no meat.
Honestly very disappointed in the food. It smelled so good inside the dining area, and I was also really, really hungry. I had ordered the chicken fajitas with flour tortillas. The food was incredibly salty, and it didn't taste quite like how fajitas would be seasoned. I'm not really sure.... The staff were okay; it felt like the person that took my order seemed a little impatient while I decided what to order. I wouldn't come back again.
