Opinions de Mendocino Farms Mountain View
My wife and I ordered a take-out mobile orders. We split a modern caesar salad wrap with added chicken, bacon, and extra dressing on the side (sans onions and tomatoes). The wrap was plenty big enough for two people to share (as it should be for $22). I really liked the toasted quinoa inside. Only critique is at the end I felt the bacon had been a bit too salty, but tasted good in the moment!
This restaurant is a great restaurant in university avenue at Palo Alto I love it's salad options. However, finding the parking spot is challenging in this region.
Got this for take out and it was delicious. For seeming healthy, it all tasted great and the combinations of flavors were good. Their quinoa salad was great and I would get it again.
Mendocino Farms just opened this past week at the Mountain View San Antonio location and the food is great as always. The staff is still training up since it is their first week on the job but unlike other restaurants around here, they have a ton of people working in the kitchen and serving. It was busy on Saturday at 1pm when we went (we saw a lot of takeout orders too.) The dressings on the salads can be on the saltier side so I may get the dressing on the side (instead of tossed in) the next time—it wasn’t dripping in dressing or anything, but the not-so-fried chicken salad was a bit on the saltier side in my opinion (too much BBQ sauce). The quinoa kale salad was perfect. The couscous is really good too. I also like their half sandwich and soup option which is a nice light lunch—that’s what I have ordered in the past at the Palo Alto location. I’m glad they are in town and plan to visit frequently for lunch!
One of my favorite salad places! Lots of tasty and healthy salad options, with generous slices of high quality chicken. My favorite salad is the Avocado Quinoa. Recommended!
This Mendocino Farms restaurant in San Antonio Village Center, Mountain View is my favorite one. Staff members are very professional, well trained, and courteous. The food is high quality and well prepared. Peruvian Stake Sandwich and bowl are my favorites. It goes with a glass of IPA. Highly recommend the Village residents and other Mountain View neighbors to try this place out, you will become a regular I promise. Keep up the great service Mendocino Farms.

Great healthy food option in MTV. Cannot go wrong with Peruvian Steak or Pork Belly Banh Mi. The online ordering & pickup is smooth.
In July, I placed a large catering order through DoorDash for our company because we absolutely love Mendocino Farms. Unfortunately, the order was unexpectedly cancelled the night before our Board of Directors meeting, which was incredibly stressful. Thankfully, General Manager Adam Rivera came to the rescue! He personally took my order the next morning and had everything prepared and ready to go within just three hours. His professionalism, responsiveness, and outstanding customer service completely turned the situation around—I went from stressed out to doing a happy dance! On top of that, the food was fresh, delicious, and a huge hit with our team. A big thank you to Adam and Mendocino Farms team for going above and beyond—you truly saved the day!
Mendocino Farms is one of my favorite spots. The sandwiches and salads are always fresh and delicious! The flavors are perfectly balanced. The service is friendly and welcoming which makes the experience even better. Highly recommend!
After a fun game of pickleball, my friend suggested we fuel up at Mendocino Farms, calling it “the upgraded version of Chipotle.” He wasn’t wrong. I ordered the Not So Fried Chicken Sandwich, and it was excellent—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and layered with fresh, flavorful ingredients that made every bite satisfying without feeling heavy. You can really taste the difference in quality compared to your typical fast-casual spot. The restaurant itself is bright and spacious, making it a comfortable place to sit down and relax after a workout. The staff was also genuinely warm and attentive, which added to the welcoming vibe and made the whole experience even better. The only downside? The AC was blasting a little too aggressively—so much so that I found myself wishing I had a jacket indoors. Overall, Mendocino Farms delivers on freshness, flavor, service, and atmosphere
Came here for the first time with our pup and had the best experience. The servers were SO nice, not just to us but to our pup too, which honestly made our day. They brought her water and gave her lots of love. Food was great, vibes were super relaxed, and we felt really taken care of. Definitely coming back. They also have draft beer
Mendocino Farms is a great choice for a fresh and reliable lunch. The staff is always friendly, and they offer excellent seating options both inside and on their outdoor patio. They have a few tasty vegetarian and vegan options available. My favorite is the Vegan Banh Mi, which has a delicious sweet and savory sauce. I do hope they consider adding more plant-based dishes to the menu in the future, as the current selection is a bit limited. The restaurant is quite popular, especially with to-go orders, so be prepared for a short wait for your food. Also, be sure to check out their unique selection of lemonades and iced teas!

A popular sandwich chain in the Bay Area. I've tried some of their vegetarian items across a few locations and can say I really like it. I also really like the servers at this location - really polite and helpful folks. You can pick your sandwich, get a lemonade to go with it and enjoy it in the park outdoors. They also have outdoor seating. I've tried the impossible Reuben sandwich and the taco salad both of which are really delicious. The sandwich was a tad bit too salty. Portion sizes are decent for a hungry person. They have a variety of vegetarian and gluten free options. I don't know if the meat is halal but would be good if it was!
The Mountain View Mendocino’s Farm is a popular location in a chain in the San Antonio complex where there is plenty of seating and restaurant to choose from, but we still ended up going to Mendocino Farms. The ambiance with so much seating and barely anyone there for dinner(I think it is more busy during lunch) it was the perfect spot to eat. The menu had lots of veggie options which was perfect for my vegetarian mom and the food seemed really fresh. We ordered a Guava Lemonade, Tomato Soup, Chimichurri Steak and Bacon Sandwich, and The Modern Caesar Salad! Starting with our bev. The guava lemonade was really good. It tasted super fresh and you could even feel some guava seeds at the bottom of the drink. It was tart and refreshing and they filled our drink to the brim. The Chimichurri steak and bacon sandwich was also quality. The Chimichurri was oddly really sweet and the steak was a little tough, but the dish still tasted amazing with all of its elements( the bacon, the sauces, and the roll). The salad though I wasn’t able to try was also really good with little crunchies that were unique. It didn’t seem like anything special, but the ingredients all looked fresh and delicious. The tomato soup pasty was subpar. There was no wow factor it was just plain tomato soup. There didn’t seem to be any salt added so the soup was kind of sweet and sour which I didn’t enjoy however with some bread it tasted a lot better. Overall, Mendocino Farms for its affordability(all of the dishes and drinks I described ended up being $45), pretty good tasting food, and great ambiance I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others and hope to come again.
The food was great. The tables were dirty. Me: "can I have some napkins so I can clean the table for us to sit and eat?" Lady behind the counter: Instead of cleaning the table which should have been done already, hands me napkins. 🤦🏻♀️ The bathroom was also pretty bad. I hope the kitchen is cleaner.
Pretty food, small portions might leave you feeling hungry afterwards. A typical, modern take on sandwiches for a feel good, chic and Californian lunch. Seating outside is ideal with an impersonal seating inside. The busboy/man was very friendly and attentive. With nothing on the side and additional charges, the lunch can a bit pricy.
The sandwich I got was delicious but my mom combo ordered a half sandwich and half salad and the half salad was essentially 3 bites of food. The food was good but some of the portions are kind of ridiculously small for like $15.

Pros: - Very healthy and freshly prepared food. - Quick service. - Online ordering ahead capability Cons: - The food is on the pricier side.
Salads are amazing but service lacks seems like understaffing issue but still problematic. Placed an online order for asap pickup it estimates 20min. Took 50min but the real problem is that my order was on the counter for 30min they simply didn’t have anyone able to bag it due to the one person pushing out orders being pulled in every direction possible. It’s been two experiences back to back of waiting for excessively for food or service.
This place repeatedly keeps disappointing! Today they served me a sandwich with very old hard bread that should have been tossed out ! For the price they charge it’s very disrespectful I can get a more fresh sandwich at the grocery store. And overall they never get the balance right in their ingredients salads/sandwiches too spicy sweet or saucy.

I ordered online and the packaging was terrible! The photo shows that the order is packed terribly
Ordered online and went downstairs to the restaurant at exactly 12:15, which the system said my order would be ready. Stood there with no updates on when it would be ready, along with 50 other angry people. I absolutely had to leave at 12:40 to pick up my kid from daycare. So I stood there from 12:15 till 12:40. Had to make the 15 minute drive to pick up my kid, drive back to the restaurant to pick up my sandwich, then drive back home, which was one minute away from the daycare. The restaurant was busy, but I would have no issues if the system was honest and told me my order would not be ready for another hour. Then I would have planned accordingly. TLDR: don't trust the ready time when you order on the website.
I’ve been ordering lunch online during the weekdays. The last 3 times I ordered, they screwed up my order and I had to wait over 20 minutes for them to slowly remake my order. Each time I complained to customer service, they would comp me a gift card, but I would much rather just get my order on time. After this latest order fiasco, I’m done with Mendocino Farms and won’t be ordering from them anymore.
